Currently in my medieval era, which means I've been looking into a lot of illuminated manuscripts and such. I LOVE the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary (the Barometz for Dungeon Meshi fans lol, I see y'all <3) and wanted to make... SOME kind of thing involving it. Everything kind of morphed into an allegory for power imbalances and predatory love. Very please with how it turned out!

A perplexing mythical lamb, this medieval beast was a legend about an area of the world that Europe knew little about at the time. The vegetable lamb itself was a product of the, as of then, many unknowns.

more of the barometz girl (she/it). life is a bit hard as a stationary plant so sometimes you gotta do what you must to survive, even if that means gassing up men you dont gaf about 😔

design notes:

the flower is blue because. dogs can blue. so they!re more attracted to the flower. heehee

also this isn't a "bio bra" situation she just made that herself out of old petals

the ehiteish areas are places with shaved fur but i didnt wanna draw it so its just represented by slightly transparent white on grey

the red tendrils on her lower half are actually very "veins" keeping her alive and also inside of the flower. if they're broken shes FUCKED
