the only place you wanna be by aiyexayen. WOH canon divergence/fix-it, gu xiang/wen kexing/zhou zishu, background wenzhou, four seasons manor arc, multiple pov, gu xiang-centric, introspection, non-sexual intimacy, hurt/comfort, angst, found family, rarepairings, polyships, M. zhou zishu has a problem, and its just as annoying and confusing as wen kexing. gu xiang realizes that the lao bing gui her zhuren keeps following around might be a little bit good-looking. wen kexing rearranges his perspective of what it means to him to care for his silly little girl. while they all live at four seasons manor, things develop. this fic single-handledly changed my brain chemistry! and the dynamics are so warm and so gah!!!! also aiyex shared a little of the bts process of working on it here!!!!!

I was given the words Embrace, Pressure, Worn, and Remember. For this I've had to grab from two separate stories. The first two are from Signs of Light and Shadow and the second two are from The Madman and the Princess.

And for the people I'll be tagging, your words are: Wake, Home, Hurt and End. (I just rolled a random word generator until I found some that didn't feel too specific).

EMBRACE

“Elena!” she shouted, breaking away from Pyra and sprinting towards her sister. Elena ran too and they collided into a hug, wrapping their arms around one another. Elena smiled broadly amidst the embrace as Cerris sobbed into her shoulder. Tears of joy bubbled from her eyes, but she didn’t care. The pain she’d been carrying for two months slipped from her shoulders. She almost laughed as relief washed through her like sunlight. Neither was sure how long they held on, but Cerris finally found more words. “I thought you were dead.”

PRESSURE

Cerris’s mind stopped. The wave within her froze. It shimmered, reflecting the night before and the insulting young man in the tavern. The pathetic young man who couldn’t take no for an answer. The man who now stood smiling. Within her, the cold pressure of the wave halted. Then it exploded. Her skin boiled, her teeth ground like mill stones, as her entire body ignited and was swallowed in burning rage. Cerris’s hand shot sideways, pulled the sword from Bardor’s scabbard, and she sprang at Tiber, pulling the blade towards him.

She wears a fucshia bardor top with long puff sleeves, a black pencil skirt that reach her knees, stockings and red heels. A red choker with a bow.

Personality:

Hardworking, Dutiful, Perceptive, Timid, Anxious. She has a permanent nerveous expression in her face even when she isn't feeling nerveous at the time. A soft-spoken woman that is happy in working in behind the scene that be the center of the attention. She feels proud in her work as the secretary of the queen of gods.

Has a romantic side in her, she loves the fantasy of old romance novels and wishes to her somebody like that as a partner.

Usagiza was born as a human but was taken by Akaboshi since she was a baby since her biological mother die after giving birth to her. To her Akaboshi is her other mother who she adores (the feeling is mutual.)

How do you think Laurence got his start in Bergynwerth? Did he come from a poor, middle class, or wealthy background? How did he meet his harem (gehrman, Bardor, mico, Ludwig)? Does he view them as pawns or does he respect them? What does he think of maria? Of kos? I love laurence please tell me all ur thoughts abt him

Ooooh, fun! I have a lot of headcanons about this! Okay, so I headcanon that Laurence was the son of two doctors. They weren't nobles, but they had a small clinic and came along. Unfortunately, one day they tried to save a patient with a deadly and contagious illness and ended up catching the same illness and eventually succumbed from it. That left Laurence orphaned at age 11. It was then when he went to Byrgenwerth, because Master Willem agreed to take him in should something happen to his parents (they were graduates). My Byrgenwerth works a bit differently, the kids can start their educations there around 12 years old and most stay for scholarship. It was where Laurence met Gehrman and Micolash and Maria. Gehrman was two years older than Laurence and the son of the groundskeeper. He was home schooled instead of attending the school and helped his dad with work. Gehrman's mother died when he was six, so he could relate to Laurence' grief about his parents. When Laurence first met Micolash, they got into a big fight. And then had to go to detention together. They came out as friends and nobody really knows what happened in there. They also were rivals since then, always competing for the top space at their current grade. Maria was coming to Byrgenwerth a few years after Laurence and because she was very aloof and Laurence was like "Oh, I should take care of this girl." because he sudddenly had big brother instincts, he went to talk to her and got told to fuck off. They kinda became friends after this... Maria was hanging out a lot with the gang, even allowed in the labyrinths even though she was not eighteen yet. I actually don't know how Laurence met Brador. I have the feeling he once just was there and offered his services to Laurence once he became the vicar. I doubt that Laurence was putting "searching for an assassin" in the newspaper ^^' Ludwig... I am one of the few people who don't have him at Byrgenwerth. He met Laurence actually when they were children, but they went seperate ways. Later, Ludwig became one of the independent hunters under Gehrman and each time Laurence saw him when he visited Gehrman, he felt something, but didn't know what... After Gehrman vanished and the blood moon rised, it was Ludwig who stepped up to get as much people out of Old Yharnam before Laurence decided to burn the place down. Laurence was so impressed that he promoted him to captain of the newly formed church hunters and since then they worked closely together and love bloomed... Laurence clearly respects his friends, but he can be quite an asshole (and doesn't admit to it), so that eventually, his relationship with almost all of his friends did get bad. Especially with Maria, who openly called him out on things the seemed to deny. It led to a clusterfuck of stuff that happened that I don't want to elaborate on now, it's too early in the morning. Kos... it is a great one that Laurence respected and would pray too, but he also went and harvested her corpse for blood, firmly believing that humanity deserved it. I actually think that the blood of Kos was the main blood supply of the church for a while until they found Ebrietas which willingly gave her blood to them. I just... love that the church canonically has a great one in their basement and it is totally peaceful, like she is expecting no harm from humans.

Um, primarily the ReZero light novels XD but the ānime remains supreme, methinks.

I recently read “A Teaching on the Tashi Prayer” by Bardor Tulku Rinpoche and “Vajrasattva Meditation” by Khenpo Yeshe Phuntsok. Short books—as short as can be.

I’m a little bit into Treasury of Precious Qualities vol 2 and “Heart Advice from a Mahamudra Master” by Gendun Rinpoche, but I’m not slurping them very actively.

So, you want to play D&D and wanna know how to construct your character, wanting to do magic and all? Well, let me explain to you how they work through the only seemingly viable real world example I can.

SORCERER

So, being a Sorcerer is like having a child of your own to use to get into the Chuck E Cheeses. Pretty straight forward, no extra steps here, but quite a few things to keep in mind as having a child always has a certain set of requirements. Regardless, enjoy the good green brother and how surprisingly good your toddler is at basketball

WIZARD

About the same as Sorcerer except you adopted them and there’s an element of preparedness that you kinda hold just cause you did so many things to make sure you could do this. Still, stay vigilant, but still enjoy that wonderful plumber and his ghost disposal.

WARLOCK

So, got no kid and don’t necessarily want one of your own? Got a Brother/Sister/Sibling/Friend-Whom-Has-Decided-You-Can-Have-The-Title-of-Uncle/Aunt/Elder-Sibling who desperately needs a break and does not want to invoke the home of Charles Entertainment Cheese. This one is all the responsibility without the work, unlike the task at hand with these dang ghost in Luigi’s big ol’ house thing.
