I'm kinda confused about GTR 2 being supposedly out of order on Netflix, considering how it was like... Literally released there, exclusively too if I'm not mistaken, so? The Wikipedia episode order is just kind of a really weird unsubstantiated claim as far as I can tell? Like, there's no source on it that I could find, and the whole season seems to have been released as a batch so? Unless it's like, a production order someone who worked on the show edited into Wikipedia, I genuinely can't tell where it got that order from so I'm just generally confused about the whole thing

Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures Universe Watch Guide

The current Barbie universe consists of so many different types of media it’s a little hard to keep track of what order to watch things in so I have made a guide to help you out!

The BDAU currently consists of Barbie’s YouTube Vlogs, Barbie Dolphin Magic, Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures: Go Team Roberts, Barbie Princess Adventure, Barbie & Chelsea: The Lost Birthday, Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams, Barbie: It Takes Two, Barbie: Mermaid Power, Barbie Life in the City, Barbie: Epic Road Trip, and Barbie: Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure.

The fact that Barbie is always uploading vlogs between the episodes and movies is what makes it complicated but I’ve used release/upload dates to organise them in the right order for you!

For some reason Netflix automatically starts Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures at season 3 instead of season 1 so just make sure you’re on the right season when you start!

Also the last season of Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures: Go Team Roberts is out of order on Netflix according to Wikipedia so I have put them in the correct order for you.

hello there! I was wondering... do we know what happened to the vlogverse and why they dropped it completely this year? I miss it so much 😭 it was my guaranteed font of comfort I can't believe they just abandoned it like it meant nothing 😭😭😭

Hi! I'm not sure why they stopped making the Barbie Vlogs videos but they haven't completely dropped the vlogverse! Barbie: A Touch of Magic has been released in a few countries now (more to come!) and it's set in the vlogverse! Barbie: Passport to Adventure (coming 2024) is also most likely set in the vlogverse.

I haven't seen any news on the actual vlogs being cancelled so it's possible that more will come out later this year or next year. But if anyone has knowledge on the status of the vlogs, please let us know!

Malibu/Brooklyn if you're still doing the ship ask game?

I've only watched BCBD and a couple episodes of It Takes Two, so I haven't see all of their moments. But looking at them from a romantic aspect, in my opinion BCBD was pretty light with the implications? Like compared to how much dramatic tension you get between fls in most barbie movies brooklyn/malibu didn't have a lot of that for me. Maybe I need to watch BCBD again 🤔

I think, because I also really like the slowburn between Malibu and Ken in the vlogverse, I'm not as compelled towards Brooklyn/Malibu, but I still think they're neat!

HI ANON 🔮 Something you hope to see in a Barbie movie one day? I've already mentioned wanting a full-blown detective/mystery Barbie movie but, in addition: while I'm not against the vlogverse stuff I do wish they'd maybe start/go back to having movies set in other worlds with other characters sometimes? They don't even have to drop it completely just give me another fairy movie or something please(it doesn't even have to be fairytopia-related).

Barbie Big City Big Dreams, final conclusion

- It was... eh? You all know I’m at best apathetic to vlogverse Barbie so it’d take a lot to wow me from her continuity and this ain’t it

- Script was pretty awkward, felt like the writers were beating me over the head in some places, like with the “cosmic chaos” line.

- It actually kinda fell apart as soon as we got to the conflict. Brooklyn was too easily convinced that Malibu allegedly pushed her, ESPECIALLY for someone who was doubtful in the first place. If she had more evidence from her perspective I’d understand, but no just the word of a rando she doesn’t even attempt to verify with other people.

- Why did it take Emmy so long to put together that it was probably her dad who staged it? I rewatched the scene and she KNOWS he’s there before the accident, she acknowledges his existence, she didn’t NEED the video to come up with her hypothesis. Also did she not see the accident herself??? She was THERE and still facing them when Malibu bumped into Brooklyn. And why was she not discussing how it didn’t add up with Brooklyn too? Especially since, again, Brooklyn was initially skeptical. Also why did Malibu need to go back home, couldn’t they catch her at the airport or something

- Malibu herself was really insensitive too like girl what >.<. Could you not tell that Brooklyn didn’t want to talk about Emmy??? How’d you not realize faster that you were treating Emmy exactly how she didn’t want to be???  Also when discussing Emmy’s situation with Brooklyn make it all about yourself yeah nice one.

- Also I don’t enjoy watching someone fail badly all in a row.

- Emmy herself suffers Kiera syndrome. Her arc kind of ends...? but she’s still under her dad’s thumb. Like did she just go back to her status quo, what happened here???

- The... the dresses... they’re awful...

- Like I don’t have a problem with the general shape of them, that’s fine, it’s the design and colors I take issue with. They look like Malibu and Brooklyn are wearing bright tinfoil and somehow manage to look overdesigned. They try to use Fashion Fairytale logic that the SPORKLEZ WILL MAKE IT LOOK AMAZING ZOMG but they forgot that the Fashion Fairytale dresses actually looked nice before they were sparklified. Mattel what happened.

- Brooklyn x Emmy is cute tho

- All-in-all it felt more like a pilot episode than a movie. Certainly not the one that’ll endear me to Vlogbie.
