BTS Reaction to Their S/O Waking Them Up to Tell Them a Random Fact

Anon Request: Can you do a reaction where their S/O wakes them up to tell them a random fact about an animal? Like their S/O was reading something about an animal and it was on his/her mind and he/she couldn't sleep so she woke them up to tell them about it. Sorry if that doesn't make sense lol

Namjoon

Honestly, Namjoon loved to learn new things, so when you woke him up one night to tell him a random fact about penguins you read earlier that day, he didn’t mind one bit. He found it endearing actually and it made him just more fond of you.

Y/n: “Did you know that Little Blue Penguins are the smallest type of penguin, they’re so adorable!”

Namjoon: “I bet they are y/n, you’ll have to show me tomorrow but let’s go back to sleep for now” 

Seokjin

Seokjin would be all whiny like a child that got woken up by their parents and told to go to bed. You couldn’t resist waking him up though, your tongue was basically itching to tell him about a very interesting fact you learnt about slugs. Even though he seemed annoyed, Seokjin would still listen to you ramble on all the while still being half asleep.

Y/n: “Jinnie...who would have thought that slugs have 4 noses??? Like imagine smelling food with 4 noses!!!”

Seokjin: “Are you trying to make me feel bad or something??”

Yoongi

Anyone that knows Yoongi knows that Yoongi LOVES his sleep; and if anyone ever wakes him when he’s sleeping, they’ll surely regret it. But when it’s you on the other hand.... he could never be mad, so when one night you had the urge to tell him something you learnt, he just listened and noded his head, internally going all soft hearing you talk.

Y/n: “Guess what! Snails can sleep up to 3 years! I bet you’d love if you could sleep for that long”

Yoongi: “Sigh...why wasn’t I born a snail?” 

Hoseok

Hoseok would leap out of bed with his hands up ready to attack whoever had wakened him up. Upon seeing that it was you he’d calm down and let out a sigh of relief then proceed to ask why you had woken him up. He’d listen intently with admiration in his eyes as you told him all about what you found so fascinating.

Y/n: “Did you know a cow gives nearly 200,000 glasses of milk in a lifetime. Cows are the greatest, they give so much and they never complain, all they want is grass....just grass....wow”

Hoseok: “They are amazing, we don’t deserve them”

Jimin

Jimin was sound asleep as you laid on his chest but unlike Jimin, your brain was going 100 miles a minute and you just couldn’t sleep. You were reading animal facts just before you went to bed and now you couldn’t stop thinking about them. Feeling the urge to tell someone, you nudged Jimin’s shoulder to wake him up. He stirred and opened his eyes and gave you a concerned look, wondering why you were waking him up at a time like this.

Y/n: “Jiminie....I know this is very random and you’re really tired but did you know that around 50 percent of orangutans have fractured bones, due to falling out of trees on a regular basis.......the poor things....I feel bad for them...”

Jimin: “Sound like if Namjoon was an animal...” he’d giggle just thinking about it.

Taehyung

You and Taehyung were night owls and usually stayed up late and went sleep at ridiculous times but tonight he had crashed and went sleep before you. Since you were up by yourself and bored out of your mind, you found yourself reading fun facts about tigers (don’t ask how you got there) You came across an intereting fact about tiger and had to share it with Tae...so you proceeded to wake him up.

Y/n: “I was reading about animals earlier and came across an article that said that Tiger cubs leave their mother when they are around 2 years of age. Isn’t that sad but courageous at the same time..... I have so much respect for them”

Taehyung: “Oh my God that’s horrible.....I suddenly miss my eomma....EOMMAAAAAA...!” he’d run off to find his phone to call his mother with fat tears in his eyes.

Jungkook

It hadn’t been a solid 10 minutes since Jungkook fell asleep and although you didn’t want to disturb him....you just couldn’t help it. Lightly tapping his shoulder to get his attention, he slowly opened his eyes and glared at you. Without giving him a second to comprehend anything you just blurted out what was on your mind. He was a little taken back but he still managed a smart reply.

Y/n: “Can you believe Giraffes don’t have any vocal cords! Imagine not being able to sing.......you’d be out of a job.”

Jungkook: “It’s a good thing I’m not a giraffe then” he’d smirk, eyes half open half shut.

Y/N looked at herself one last time before heading out to meet Jungkook at their usual hangout space when her phone dinged. Looking at the text she smiled. It was from Jimin.

'i'll meet you there okay babe.' Y/N bit her lips afraid. Afraid of the growing fondness she had towards Jimin. What if Jimin is just messing around with her. She can't hurt like last time. But to move on she had to do this to see Jungkook and close that chapter of Jungkook and Y/N.

Because of the situation, Jimin and Y/N had decided to meet with Jungkook. Arriving at the cafe neither of the men had arrived yet leaving Y/N to sit alone in the awkwardness sipping her coffee as she noticed Jungkook walking into the cafe. "Jimin said he'll be a little late. A situation came up." Y/N looked up at Jungkook with a puzzled look on her face, "A situation?"

"It had to do with his parents, okay so it's not in my place." Nodding her head Y/N took another sip of her coffee the bitterness of it causing her to furrow her brows. Jungkook let out a light chuckle, "I'm guessing you need more sugar?"

"Stop." Y/N said sternly.

"Stop what?"

"This. You acting like you care about me. You acting like you actually have feelings for me. I wanted to wait until Jimin got here but let's talk just like you mentioned in the text." Jungkook fell silent. He looked down on his lap about to speak when his coffee had arrived slightly nodding his head in gratitude towards the barista. "I texted that to you as a bet to Tae, that I can have you crawling back to me. But I--"

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Y/N said angrily scoffing in disbelief, "At least you have the decency to let me know now right?" Jungkook shook his head almost so desperately Y/N almost believed his next words. "No Y/N it's not like that. I wanted to tell you that you're right. I am an asshole who have no regards to anybody else's feelings. But you. You're different for some fucking reason you're different. When you smile it makes me happy almost proud. When I made you cry I felt this ache in my heart."

"Just stop. Seriously Jungkook I'm happy now with Jimin and--"

Jungkook at this moment wanted to stop talking but his jealousy had blinded him, "But is he happy?"

"What?"

"Nothing. I see there's nothing left here for me. Just know Y/N that I love you. You're the first girl I loved and will always love." With those words, Jungkook left a very confused Y/N behind.

Y/N waited for Jimin but he never came. After a whole hour, Y/N walked back home. Worried Y/N tried calling him but there was no answer. For some unknown reason, there was a feeling in Y/N could not shake. She was scared that something bad was going to happen so she walked to the BTS dorm. Before she can knock Jimin opened the door smiling and laughing. Turning his head to see Y/N he put on a serious face. "Y/N. What are you doing here?" Jumping into his arms Y/N cried. "I'm glad you're okay...I was scared something bad happened...Jungkook he told me he loved me." Before Jimin can open his mouth a girl walked out of the dorm, "Hey Jimin are you ready for dinn--" She paused as she saw you, "Who's this?"

"Jennie just go back in okay I'll handle this."

Frozen Y/N looked at the beautiful girl at the frame of the door watching as she obeyed Jimin so thoughtlessly. "Y/N...can I talk to you?"

"About what? Her?" Y/N knew this feeling all too well. The bad feeling she is feeling is the anxiousness of Jimin's next words.

"I have a confession. When you asked me if I had approached you that night because of a deal I didn't lie to you. It wasn't a deal. It was to my own accord but I did have ulterior motives." Y/N felt her legs get weak and the tears trying to burst through but she bit the inside of her cheeks a habit she never realized had returned. "That girl is Jennie. She was my fiance--"

"Stop...just don't say anything."

"No. Listen I feel like you at least deserve the truth. Jungkook seduced her a couple years back and she left me. After 11 years of knowing each other and 6 of those years together as a couple, she fell into his trap. That feeling of losing someone you love...I wanted Jungkook to feel it too. So when I realized he had fallen for you I thought you--"

"Stop it!" Y/N whispered covering her ears. "Y/N I'm sorry...."

"Sorry? That's all you can say. You toyed with my feelings for petty revenge?" Y/N was no longer able to stop the pain growing in her chest. She cried hitting her chest hoping for it to stop. "I...I was so stupid." She whispered to herself, as she looked up at Jimin, " Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me right. I am so fucking stupid." With that Y/N ran. She ran to her dorm. Slamming the doors ignoring anyone who tried to talk to her. Ignoring the thumping from her door. She ran to the bathroom looking at herself in the mirror. "You're a fucking idiot." She ran to her bed and cried. She was fooled twice. She was played with twice. She cried until she fell asleep.
