The funniest thing about Paperinik New Adventures is that some villains will think "this Duck Avenger is not a threat, just some buffoon in a cape who will be easy to defeat or manipulate, we don't need to put any effort in it", and they'll be wrong.

And some villains will think "the Duck Avenger is a genius mastermind, always four steps ahead, it will take nothing less than an army to take him down, we need to tread with infinite caution to survive him"

And they'll also be wrong.

Captain Sparks & Royal Company - Objectif Lune

Captain Sparks & Royal Company vient de dévoiler Objectif Lune où se télescopent chanson française, jazz et hip-hop avec une énergie débordante ! Captain Sparks & Royal Company nous entrainent dès la première note d'Objectif Lune dans une joyeuse sarabande avec cuivres en folie, rythmiques entrainantes et des paroles qui valent le coup d'oreille. Avec ses chansons originales sur une bande-son alliant musiques urbaines et latines, teintées d’électro et de cuivres, le collectif normand raconte sa vie en poésie et avec pas mal d'humour et des punchlines mémorables.

Pour celui de 2021 à 2022 les pires suites disney. Avec en bonus, la bande à picsou et le secret de la lampe.

Cette année ce sera Shrek 1 &2, La Véritable Histoire du Petit Chaperon rouge et Princess Bride.

L’auteur qui s’exprime au nom de l’Esprit de Dieu va utiliser une succession de verbes entassés les uns après les autres un peu comme des coups de marteau qui enfoncent un clou dans une planche. Mais ce n’est pas ainsi qu’on apprend quelque chose. Dame Sagesse ordonne à ses élèves d’être attentif à son enseignement, à bien le mâcher, à le digérer et à le conserver précieusement au fond des entrailles afin qu’il devienne partie intégrante de leur être. Toute instruction pénètre par les oreilles ou les yeux, mais sa destination finale est le cœur ; c’est là qu’elle doit élire un domicile permanent.

Dans la bande dessinée de Mickey, on voit souvent l’oncle Picsou compter son immense fortune ; il ne s’en lasse jamais. Beaucoup de gens riches font pareil, ils aiment à contempler leurs comptes en banque bien cossus ou admirer leurs bijoux, les rivières de diamants qu’ils possèdent. L’homme sage agit ainsi avec la Parole de Dieu. L’apôtre Pierre l’exprime ainsi :

Comme des enfants nouveau-nés, désirez ardemment le lait pur de la Parole, afin qu’il vous fasse grandir en vue du salut (1Pierre 2:2).

Lorsqu’une maman prépare le biberon à son bébé, il la regarde faire avec intensité. Il la dévore des yeux et s’agite dans tous les sens. Il remue ses mains, ses pieds et ses lèvres anticipant déjà le lait qu’il va recevoir. Ceux qui se sont exercés à savourer les vérités contenues dans la Parole de Dieu la considèrent comme l’enfant nouveau-né voit son lait.

L’accumulation des verbes continue. Ils exhortent le jeune homme à être dans une bonne disposition d’esprit afin de désirer et d’assimiler toutes les caractéristiques que Dame Sagesse veut lui enseigner. Le bon élève doit désirer apprendre ce qui sous-entend une certaine dose d’humilité qui lui fait reconnaître son ignorance. Il faut en outre qu’il soit attentif et prêt à fournir un gros effort.

Okay but Donald having a voice changer mask/gadget actually explains why no one connects Donald Duck and the Duck Avenger. Who could suspect the badass superhero talking with a Don Cheadle voice to be the same guy who needs his nephews to translate his quacks half of the time ?

A small Pkna/Duckverse Headcanon:

Due to his Voice, Donalds singing often sounds off and isn't very enjoyable for other people, but when he's the Duck Avenger and has his Voice Changer equipped he's actually an amazing singer and has been asked to sing to fans on several occasions.

A Paperinik fic idea :

Some rich guy offers a very big reward for anyone uncovering PK's secret identity. Usually Scrooge doesn't give a flap about Paperinik, except to shake his cane at him when he's on the wrong end of PK's shenanigans, or when he asks Donald to pass a message to his friend . But now, a reward?? A BIG reward ?? $w$ NOW we're talking!

So Scrooge embarks on a mission to find out PK's identity, while Donald, who heard about it, panicks and goes on to try and sabotage every attempt; especially when Scrooge gets his hand on a photo that proves clearly Donald is Paperinik. I can't decide if it would take place in regular PK or PKNA continuity, but in PKNA, even Uno can't stop Scrooge (and he can't delete the photo as it's not digitalised). Donald's bad luck strikes full force in this story : hijinks ensue, whacky race between Scrooge hellbent on getting this picture and Donald trying to stop him without gving himself away, either as Paperinik or by staying hidden while putting banana peels on the street (and slipping on them) .

They both reach at the same time the building where Scrooge is supposed to give the picture in a sealed envelope (he hasn't had time to check it himself), and of course Scrooge realises Donald has been sabotaging him.

"Yoo good for nothing nephew, you can't help but cost me time and money! If you want the reward, you have to earn it!"

"I don't care about the reward! Please, Uncle Scrooge, you can't give this photo!"

"And why not?"

"I..."

It's the closest Donald has ever been to reveal his secret identity to Scrooge, but he can't, even now, and he's just staring beggingly at Scrooge. Scrooge who glares back at him. But who has seen Donald beg and whine his way out of many situations. He knows how petulant, lazy, angry Donald looks. This...this is different. This is Donald being desperate.

"Please. If you do it, this...this will change everything for Paperinik. And for me."

Scrooge wavers, then seels himself.

"Out of my way, nephew, I've had a long day," before he pushes Donald out of the way.

Once Scrooge is inside the building and as he climbs up, however...he hears people talking about the situation; how Paperinik's identity will be broadcast on all televisions in the evening.

"Man, I can't wait to see who it is!"

"Yeah, with all the damage he's caused before, he's bound to have so many angry people after him!"

"I wonder where he lives?"

"You think he got any family ? A wife, kids?"

"Nah, this lunatic works alone, I bet he doesn't have a home to return to!"

"Imagine the look on his friends's face if he turns out to be just some average lame-o"

Etc etc

As Scrooge climbs up the stairs, we cut to several people waiting impatiently in front of their TV: friends and family of Donald, Donald himself being utterly depressed in his lair (if PKNA verse, Uno is trying to motivate him to move and brace himself for the upcoming fallout), average citizens, journalists, criminals of every kind sharpening and loading their weapons... With Scrooge thinking back on Paperinik's pranks who's infuriated him before (the mattress! He still hasn't let it go!), but also all the times he's fought to defend Scrooge, and he keeps thinking about Donald's pleading eyes

"Please, you can't give this photo!"

"Sentiment doesn't make money, he should learn about it someday if he ever wants to make it far" he grumbles to himself.

And then. Something hits him. He slowly comes to a halt. Right in front of the rich guy's door.

"This will change everything. For Paperinik. And for me."

"Oh," he says as the door opens, "I'm such a fool. How could I not notice before?"

Cut to Donald watching the broadcast.... Aaaaand by some event which I let you imagine, the photo is NOT the compromising one, but it's pointing out to like, Gloomgold or Rockerduck or a Beagle Boy, which causes a lot of trouble for them but all ends well for Paperinik.

Later on Scrooge bangs the door of Donald's house open, startling him awake from his TV nap (all these emotions took a toll on him):

"DONALD! You better thank me for keeping your secret!"

"W-w-what"

"Why didn't you tell me Paperinik is your boyfriend?? You think I wouldn't have approved ?? What do you think I've seen back in my days??"

So yeah, Scrooge is now patting himself on the back for being a good ally but also now he's pestering Donald for never bringing his boyfriend home for dinner.

"If it's a serious relationship, Huey, Dewey and Louie should have a chance to meet their potential step-father properly!" He rants to Grandma Donald over tea and biscuits.

"You just want to claim Paperinik as your in-law, don't you?"

"Hmpf. I can tell you, he's an infuriating scoundrel but at least he has good taste."

"...Are you talking about Donald or Paperinik??"

Ducktales, woo-oo !!

I freaking love the new serie! I liked the old one, I grew up with it, but I was always a bit sad that Donald was not part of the adventure. Donald is my favourite character from the Fab Five, and as a kid I loved reading his adventures, weither it was with Scrooge and the nephews in Carl Barks’s comics, or the comics published in Le Journal de Mickey about his everyday life. 

I somehow was always touched by the fact he had to raise all by himself these three ducklings ! The new serie seems to focus a lot on it, and I won’t spoil it but the ending of the pilot was exciting and I can’t wait to see what it has in store for the Duck family!

Congrats to all the artists involved in the new serie, you did a fantastic job, and thank you for bringing the Ducktales back to old and new generations! Woo-oo!

That is SO GOOD!! Perfectly in tune with an actual Paperinik story!

I can see the prologue of the story starting in media res with Paperinik landing a huge hit on Beakley (with Angus Fangus being around with cameras and immediately going on about PK being a menace to elderly, innocent citizens), and right before the "title card" of the story, we're treated to a shot where they face and glare at each other as they realize neither is going to bulge..

"Out of my way, hero."

"Try moving me."

The rest of the story could be told through jumps between flashbacks and the present to explain how they got here, and what's actually going on.

I just woke up from dreaming a super epic fight scene between Miss Beakley and Pk.

The Memory is already starting to fade, but Beakley was trying to enter some super secret Hideout/Building/whatever with Pk trying to stop her because there was something very evil locked away on the next level or in the next room.

But he couldn't tell her it was there, because it was so evil or something and they were arguing the whole time and threatening to badly hurt the other if they didn't give up.

(Lyla was there on his side fighting too, but she didn't say much)

Oh, and the Building was about to flood, forcing them closer to the forbidden room/level.

And it was a fanfiction.

...anyways, I'm better gonna go back to sleep now.
