I have been sketching. So much tma. Here's some expansions on my Jon and Martin designs I've been doing.

Another note I forgor to mention is I love how after hearing Simon go "it's enough to make your hair turn white" about Martin's office in s4 many of us collectively agreed his hair turned white because of his association with the Lonely. The shared consciousness is real and we use it to play hot potato with the communal brain cell dedicated to the sillies.

Hiii!! Ufff I don't know how to tell you that I love your take on Floyd. like some bad bad life decisions were taken (THAT SO!!! INTERESTING FOR HIM). Do you think he ever feels ashamed of himself when he looks at Branch's eyes, like "shit, this guy really believes in me" or "he doesn't even know everything I have done"? Like he has some really BIG "Love me Less by Max" vibes

They all really believe in his goodness which is worse

And OH he definitely feels so much shame and regret. I think a big part of why he fell as hard as he did was because he finally didn't have to be his brothers' mediator, and I guess at one point he forgot that he still needed to be the voice of reason for himself. His new band mates encouraging his reckless behavior didn't help. Honestly I personally think young Floyd was a very naive kid and very dependent on his older brothers but his strong empathy gave them all the impression that he was much more mature and independent than he really was...

So yeah... you can imagine that constantly partying, doing drugs and sleeping around wears someone down after a few years. I think Floyd also went gray like Branch (not for as long tho) and he broke up with the band wanting to go home badly, but he was also ashamed of showing his face after a number of years as a gray drug addict, so he kind of just ended up alone...

If we're sharing songs, I have to show you this one by Linkin Park because I think Floyd wrote it for Branch (and the rest of his family (and some parts also addressing himself)) while he was at that desperate and lonely period because I am also extremely emo

Linkin Park is continuing to make new music, this time with new vocalist Emily Armstrong

I am so fucking happy right now.

LP has ALWAYS been my fucking band, and I was absolutely fucking devastated by Chester Bennington's death.

A couple of weeks ago, I was pretty depressed when a pilot screenplay I wrote & submitted to a major screenplay competition didn't advance at all, like to the point that it had me wondering if I was just fucking cursed and if it was worth it at all to continue to pursue writing.

Now I feel like I have no excuse not to keep going. AND NEITHER DO YOU!!!!!

I'm gonna say this once:

I am okay with Linkin Park getting a new singer because she's talented af and ultimately, it's not my fucking decision.

I don't actually have a right to be upset about. I am a fan, an outsider. To speak as if I knew what Chester would have wanted, or what was disrespectful to Chester better than his best friends and bandmates is so egotistical and sad.

It has been 7 years, and the rest of the band has decided that they are ready to take this next step. This is not the first band to stay together after losing their original vocalist, and it's not going to be the last. Saying that them continuing as Linkin Park without Chester is disrespectful bc "Linkin Park died with Chester" is so fucking disrespectful to the rest of that incredibly talented fucking band.

Don't get me wrong, Chester is irreplaceable. He was and always will be a once in a lifetime vocalist, especially in the nu metal scene. However, that does not mean Linkin Park cannot start a new chapter with a new vocalist.

To be fair, the people I'm seeing being especially annoying with the news are people that probably didn't actually listen to Linkin Park until after Chester died.

Still. People need to fucking sort out their parasocial attachment to a celebrity who has been dead for 7 years bc y'all are getting on my nerves with the way y'all are speaking about the loved ones who are still fucking here and are allowed to move the fuck on.
