AU: Jobs

Another AU I made a year or two ago. The idea is the sextuplets have jobs, but they're not exactly where they want to be in those jobs. They all still live at home as well.

Oso: Ballerina. Does shows at a local theater in town with a ballerina group that comes to town every summer. He’s really good and they offer to take him on tour with them, but he doesn’t want to leave his family behind so he refuses (though he lies and says he’s too lazy to travel or something). His dream is to one day perform in Paris, France in front of a large crowd, though he doesn’t tell anyone this. The rest of the year he’s a NEET. Had Iyami as his agent once when he was younger. He performed in different towns, but ended up missing his family and was thinking of going home when he found Iyami trying to run off with the money they earned from the shows. Iyami wanted to take the money and go to France alone. Luckily the family was able to stop Iyami, but they lost the money in the struggle in a hijinks way. He can still remember the feeling of loneliness without his brothers by his side to this day, which is why he doesn’t want to leave them and go on tour.

Kara: A model! Well, actually, a hand model. His dream is to become a full-body model. He doesn’t even have to be on the cover or centerfold. He just wants to show off his whole body. Chibita takes pity on him and has him model for flyers for his oden shop (though he has to keep reminding Kara to keep it tame and not to ham). Has gotten scammed more than once by “talent agencies” that promise to make him a full body model. Each time they run off with his money he promises to be more careful from then on, but then falls for the next one. 

Choro: Works at a business office (the one his dad got for him in that one ep). His dream is to own his own business like his father did in the kun series. He hasn’t gone to business school (since he can’t afford it and doesn’t have any talents to get scholarships), so right now his plan is to work hard and get promoted until he becomes CEO of the business. What he doesn’t realize is that his supervisors don’t plan on giving him any promotions. They want to keep him where he is and force him to do their work for them, so they can take the credit. Despite all the work he does, and always attending drinking parties after work, he has no work friends. Everyone is annoyed with him and his know-it-all attitude and is only nice to him when they have work that needs done. 

Whenever he gets drunk he rants about how he’s going to quit and start his own business, but never goes through with it. He’s afraid of it failing, like his father’s business did. One of the ones that has a steady income and can keep it.

Ichi: Runs a non-profit cat adoption center. Raised up money to rent a building to turn it into an adoption center. The problem is Ichi’s standards are higher than most, so adopting is nearly impossible and they don’t earn a lot of money. The only reason his business hasn’t gone under is cause his brothers help him run a charity, benefit thing whenever the center needs money. He also sometimes get an anonymous donation. The only other employee he has is his old highschool friend (and secret crush), Yana. Yana also helps put money into the center so it doesn’t go under. Ichi gets annoyed when Choro tries to give him business advice. 

Jyushi: A baseball player! Kinda. He’s on a baseball team, but he never gets to play. When he first joined he got a little too excited and went nuts (like in the last ep of season 1). He’s calmed down since then, but none of his teammates or coach trusts him and have him as a benchwarmer. They have him do more manual tasks, like cleaning the uniforms, polishing bats, and things a baseball player shouldn’t be expected to do. He doesn’t complain, though he wishes they would at least let him play in one game. His teammates find him annoying, but they can’t trade him off (for whatever reason). He gets paid the most out of the brothers (he gets extra for doing the manual labor), but none of them realize this since he sends half of his paycheck to Ichi as an anonymous donor, or to Homuyra in the form of gifts (he tried money once and she sent it back). Does travel to other cities for games, but makes sure to call home everyday and talk to his brothers for hours when he can.

Todo: Part time streamer/part time worker at a clothing store. He wants to become a popular streamer, but so far he’s just got a little following. He’s the streamer that either talks about his day, complains about a coworker or customer, or reacts to videos. He sometimes gets donations on his streams, but the one he gets the most from is from a fan named “FluffyMixer.” (It’s Atsushi. Fluffy is the name of his cat. Todo doesn’t know it’s Atsushi and often talks to him about his “favorite fan that donates a lot to him” while Atsushi smirks and listens). He's wanting to get sponsorships.

Osomatsusan headcanons cause I’m bored

This is more on a take on them in a more psychological/meta pov on them.

Osomatsu

-He’s still irresponsible as the show states repetitively, but I think there’s a deep under layered of anger issues. Maybe feeling like he’s stuck being unemployed and can’t change his life, or feels like his feelings are put on the sidelines.

-oso secretly very stressed but hides it by playing it down. Being the oldest but not the most matured may be a result of him trying to get some control of himself or over small things.

-He acts sexist and pervs on girls on the regular. I like incorporating the old show to the new one, specifically we’re oso was a ballerina,and wore womens swimsuits. So I like to think he secretly wants to be more feminine and dress feminine, but fears the shame or backlash of his family. He Avoids and projects his wants and desires in a more “masculine” manner instead.

-The problem with him at the root of it all is that he doesn’t want to change. He’s comfortable, he’s unfamiliar to change. Therefore he sees change as a threat.

-Oso’s anger makes him go quiet and visibly irritated. Storming off out of the house for a few hours before coming right back.

-He’s an alcoholic,smokes,gambles,unemployed,lives with his parents guy. He doesn’t want to change.

Karamatsu

-The most confident in himself. His fashion is questionable ofc but it shows how willing he his to present himself. Albeit his made up persona of himself.

-Closeted. His brothers have made comments of his clothes looking gay and how he acts is gay as-well, but he can take that. He thinks if he actually comes out he thinks he’s giving more ammo for his brothers to put him down

-Kara is secretly the most matured. He uses his persona as a shield to deflect his brothers judgement. Later in more recent seasons you see him start to not use his persona less and less, and his brothers caught on it even,but when faced with the confrontation he gets aggravated and even intimidates his brothers when he gets mad.

-On a more positive note I would like to think he got his jacket from

-Kara’s more of a job hopper. Never keeping one and doing small gigs like street shows or helping Chibita with his business.

Choromatsu

-he tries to act better or more mature than he really is. Helps his mother with taxes and some small chores but he uses this to put himself on a higher horse in comparison to his brothers.

-wares a collared shirt under his hoodie kind of shit.

-he gets very defensive about very small things. Considered being more short tempered than the sophisticated role he tries to put up.

- he hides his love for anime and idols away from his brothers because he’s ashamed of himself for liking it. Although most already know because he buys copious amounts of merch and tickets for idol shows.

-though he does look after his brothers in a more keeping tabs sort of way than a mom would. Comment or would ask if they’d showered or brush their teeth that day then lecture them to do so. This does help some of them positively to keep somewhat of a schedule.

-I want to say he’d might want to work at a manga/anime shop or something, but I’d doubt it. he’d be too ashamed to work at one. He feels like degenerates or creeps work at manga stores. (Even though that’s verbatim what he is.) would maybe end up in a book/convince store ran by an old lady.

Ichimatsu

-he’s my favorite so take some of this with a grain of salt.

-he hides how he feels. His antisocial behavior and dislike of the general public is why he turned to cats.

-uses cats as a coping mechanism and hyper fixation. Shows some signs of being on the spectrum be he doesn’t want to know the diagnosis/ answer to what specifically he has. He feels like it’s searching for an excuse for the way he is. (Not in a ableist way but more in a learned helplessness way.)

-low hygiene. Either Smells like cat piss or just body odor. His depression not helping him at that, choro runs his mouth at him on the regular for this. But instead of picking up that he’s maybe depressed, he calls him lazy and gross for ‘sulking in his filth’.

- oso and ichi are more closer in a bond because of their similar nature. The only difference between them is that oso is more accepting and chill about his current state. While ichi is more pessimistic and hopeless in his. Giving each other nicknames to show there on good terms.

-gets small jobs at local restaurants. working at the back cleaning dishes and taking out the trash.

-looks after jyushi. Finding solace in his more cheerful enthusiastic nature to his pessimistic one.

Jyushimatsu

-autistic with adhd. dresses more for comfort than to present himself. Highly energetic with not much sense of social cues or sarcasm.

-he’s more of a good influence on the brothers by bringing them outside when he wants to go out, instead of being shut-ins. He helps them have more to do than gamble or drink.

-i like to think he’d have a long distance relationship with him and Homura. Like todo got him a Nokia so he wouldn’t break it and to call her now and then. It would give him some one positive to talk to and she’d have him to talk to.

-he likes to hang out with ichi on the regular. Help ichi get out of the house, and then go feed stray cats in ally’s.

-maybe he’d volunteer at daycare’s or babysit if he needed to work. Showing in some episodes that he’s good with kids.

Todomatsu

-The most put together. Has his job at a cafe in the city and usually has good luck when gambling on pachinko.

-Openly gay with his family. They weren’t too surprised and he wasn’t to scared about it either since he already dressed in more pink and flamboyant clothing,and having friends that are mostly girls.or fuck it he had friends period.

-The most social brother. He tried to bring some of his brothers to mixers but it didn’t end up too well. Either in their brothers getting them kicked out or in other times or his own exclusion.

-I feel like he could move out if he wanted he makes his own income to have a phone and can walk or take a bus to his job. Maybe own an apartment of some kind.

-this might also go hand in hand with the fact he’s scared to be alone. He’s never not been alone for so long that when he finally is, it scares him. It’s unfamiliar to him.

-in the episode were they all got tortured in hell we saw the demon read his dairy. It said he wanted to dress like a girl and be like a girl, then you see him almost cry from the embarrassment.

-I think he’s questioning in his gender,but is to scared to explore that part of himself yet.

I do feel like As much as they hate or irritate each other, a key reason they don’t move out minus the money or occupation, is that their all unconsciously codependent on each other. If they even wanted to move out, the thought/feeling of being alone is so out their comfort zone and unfamiliar they’d rather spend their lives with familiarity.

this ended up being a bit long bc i had to dump screenshots everywhere

favorite thing about them:

hes such a funny, goofy little piece of shit. hes so unabashed and unapologetic in who he is, and he’s just straight up adorable! he also feels like such a warm and comforting character to me? he can be pretty emotionally intelligent and is able to pick up on and sympathize with others' feelings.

he’s also quite good at reassuring and calming his brothers down! like despite being a silly little manchild, he can be reliable and really feels like a comforting presence.

also this thing he does where he’s able to challenge people and call them out on their bluff when they’re being dishonest and stubborn with their own feelings.

oso is also such an interesting character to psychoanalyze. like the fact that in s3e18 he was terrified and tried to run away when asked out by a really cute girl, the fact that he only thought of someone liking him as a funny joke, the idea that if no one expects anything out of him then he’ll never disappoint anyone, which might be why he started the date off with the most unfiltered, shitty version of himself, the fact that he reflected quietly all night and decided to actually genuinely try for once only to be rejected........ just in that skit alone there’s so much to think about he’s just neat idk

choukei! like despite shitting on each other a lot (esp from kara’s end), these two really feel like a DUO to me. they seem to have mutual disrespect for each other but also a weird kind of mutual respect, and sometimes they do attempt to take their supposed roles as the eldest a bit seriously. their little "top two brothers" exchange at the end of the choromatsu incident makes me smile like an idiot.

kara voices his thoughts much more readily than he does with other brothers, and that makes their interactions unique and really entertaining to watch. snarky, bitchy, and or exasperated kara is always a fun time. and when there isnt any sort of conflict between them, they seem pretty comfortable just hanging out together, and they do so regularly! 

these two feel really close to each other in a "hey this guy sucks lol" kind of way.

does this count as an unpopular opinion? i dont really see him as being that stupid, he just doesnt give any shits and so will just do or say whatever immediately comes to mind most of the time. he’s capable of being logical and introspective, and often uses reason to reassure people.

hmmmmmmmmmm osomatsu...well maybe my favorite thing would be that hes the oldest..im the oldest out of my siblings too so i always really liked the "that oldest sibling feeling when" jokes in ososan bcuz theye really funny and relatable to me. Something that definitely tunrned me into an osoguy coming back to ososan was that hes a problems guy. the pipeline of events was this "osomatsu is a good older brother :) -> ohh osomatsu wanted to be a ballerina when he was a kid -> OSOMATSU HAD A TRAUMATIC CHILDHOOD EVENT? -> ohh osomatsu wants kids:) -> osomatsu is normal" im like. mesmerized by the beauty of his brain. i want to study him on a petri dish. umm like i dunno. theres a lot to dissect in how he acts in episode 24 of both season 1 and 2 and not to mention a lot of little scenes throughout the series like the nyaa chan episode and the fucking tortoise and the hare skit. basically the thing i like most about oso is that i want to put him in a bug jar and study his behaviors and also i think its nice that hes a good older brother

least favorite thing about them

osomatsu is a really hard character to find things you dislike about him if you already like him bcuz if you like osomatsu you kind of have to like him for his faults because hes made up of 99% flaws. which is to say i couldnt think of anything i really dislike about him. i guess some of the SEX jokes go a little far for me sometimes but thats less of a problem with him and mroe of a problem with the writing itself Lol

i really like choukei, parka, and sokudo and beni and bhmmmmmmmm umm well thats all of his stupid brothers isnt it. well i really like those first 2 a lot i like the oldest 2 solidarity oso and kara have (them in the choromatsu incident was the funniest shit ive ever seen, and also the ear cleaning skit is so so so funny) and i think its really cute that ichimatsu lets osomatsu baby him and osomatsu is the only older brother he has that he calls niisan. ough. it hurts. also the scene they have in the working dead game is seriously stuck in my mind forever. jesus christ i just watched it again its seriously EXCUSE ME! HE HAS AUTISM

im sorry i have to show the whole fucking thing its so good. i love that he flips out at their boss implying ichimatsu isnt taking this job seriously when osomatsu knows very well how hard it is for ichimatsu to communicate to others and how severely out of his comfort zone it is for him to be doing this in the first place

¡¿Qué sería de la infancia sin los dibujos animados?! Algunas generaciones pasadas no tuvieron tanto camino a ver caricaturas, pero los niños de hoy en día tienen opciones de sobra. Sin bloqueo, entre la coplosidad de asombrosas historias y cuentos de hadas, queremos encontrar las que efectivamente ayuden a tus hijos a comprender las cosas importantes de la vida y las complejidades de las relaciones entre las personas.

Genial.guru te trae una selección de películas que cuentan su propia historia. Los chicos podrán formarse mucho de ellas.

1. Ballerina, 2016 (Francia y Canadá)

Ballerina se desarrolla en torno a una chica huérfana que persigue su sueño de convertirse en almea. Ella llega a una conocida escuela de París, pero el camino cerca de su sueño resulta ser complicado.

El mensaje principal de la película no solo es que debes hacer lo que te apasiona y cumplir tus metas, sino que igualmente es importante comprender tus verdaderos sentimientos. Algo muy importante es el hecho de que tener una cierta profesión no se te debe subir a la vanguardia y llevarte a ver a los demás con desprecio.

2. Ponyo y el secreto de la sirenita, 2008 (Japón)

La curiosa pececita Ponyo, hija de un hechicero y la diosa del mar, deja su hogar y entra al mundo de las personas. Ella consigue hacer amistad con el pequeño Sosuke, y ahora la pececita solo quiere una cosa: convertirse en un ser humano.

Todo lo que te enseñará este dibujo animado es bondad, paciencia, transigencia al mundo, comprensión de la amistad y ayuda mutua.

3. Hotel Transylvania, 2012 (EE. UU.)

Monstruos muy carismáticos bajo el liderazgo del conde Drácula viven en un hotel oculto del mundo de las personas. Drácula cría y protege a su amada hija del mundo hostil. Pero un turista llega al hotel inesperadamente y distorsiona el estilo de vida ordinario que todos llevaban en el hotel.

La película ayudará a los niños a entender que no se debe arbitrar a una persona por su apariencia, ya que lo importante es el interior. La tribu es lo más importante que tenemos en la vida, pero los hijos y padres no siempre se comprenden los unos a los otros. Los niños deben perdonar a sus padres si los cuidan en exceso y los padres deben entender que es necesario darles a sus “pequeños” más autonomía.

4. Tu nombre, 2016 (Japón)

Una historia de un pequeño y una chica de Tokio que les gustará a los adolescentes. Los jóvenes descubren que entre ellos existe una extraña e inexplicable relación. En sus sueños, ellos cambian sus cuerpos y viven la vida del otro. Pero un día, esta capacidad desaparece y ellos deciden vigilar qué fue lo que pasó.

La película les permite a los espectadores reflexionar sobre qué papel juega una situación en la vida, cómo diferenciar un cierto apego y por qué el tiempo es impotente delante los verdaderos sentimientos y la brillante espontaneidad de la nubilidad.

5. ParaNorman, 2009 (EE. UU.)

Una película animada un poco cruel que te inquietará para transmitir un problema importante: tenemos miedo de lo que no entendemos y, sin reflexionar, intentamos destruir aquello a lo que tememos. Sin bloqueo, a veces todo lo que tenemos que hacer es extender la mano y notar empatía.

6. Pie Pequeño, 2018 (EE. UU.)

Un hombre de las nieves llamado Migo descenso desde lo detención de su montaña cerca de el mundo desconocido de los humanos, en donde le esperan un montón de descubrimientos.

Una perfecta historia con un mensaje fundamental sobre el hecho de que se necesita cuidar de la naturaleza, no hacerles daño a los animales y valorar a todas las criaturas. Además, palabra sobre la amistad, traición, colaboración mutua y coraje.

7. Unidos, 2020 (EE. UU.)

Los hermanos elfos viven en un mundo de relato de hadas, pero muy innovador, parecido al mundo de las personas. Un esperado lucha los obliga a delirar en búsqueda de la verdadera ilusionismo.

Esta historia palabra sobre lo importante que es valorar a las personas que están a tu costado y sobre cómo, con frecuencia, no valoramos a las personas cercanas. El mundo necesita la ilusionismo que se protector en cada uno de nosotros.

8. Coco, 2017 (EE. UU.)

Miguel, un niño mexicano de 12 primaveras, viaja a la Tierra de los muertos para ver a su ídolo, el cantante Ernesto de la Cruz. Allí, él se encuentra con el alma de sus antepasados.

Una trama inusual que se ha convertido en asesor importantes principios: cuídate a ti mismo y a tus seres queridos, valora el tiempo con ellos y no tengas miedo de perseguir tu sueño, incluso si el camino parece complicado.

9. Intensa-mente, 2015 (EE. UU.)

Riley es una estudiante popular y corriente. Su comportamiento es determinado por las principales emociones: Felicidad, Tristeza, Miedo, Ira y Desagrado. Estos personajes en su vanguardia le ayudan a guerrear con las dificultades todos los días, por ejemplo, una mudanza inesperada, con la cual comienza la trama.

10. Zapatos rojos y los siete enanos, 2019 (Corea del Sur)

Un día una chica de un reino de cuento de hadas encuentra unas zapatillas mágicas capaces de convertirla en una hermosa princesa. En ese mismo reino, viven siete enanos verdes que alguna vez fueron príncipes. Un día, sus caminos se cruzan.

Esta caricatura plantea importantes temas como la amistad, el apego, la belleza y el apoyo. Además, de guisa sutil les enseña a los niños lo importante que es aceptarse a sí mismos, su propia apariencia y preocuparse más por el tipo de persona que son.

11. Ana y Bruno, 2017 (México)

La pequeña Ana vive con su mamá, quien cuida de ella con todas sus fuerzas, a pesar de que trabaja muy duro. Un día, su mamá se enferma; y Ana pegado con ella llegan al hospital. Por la perplejidad, en los corredores del hospital, la chica conoce a una extraña criatura con la cual pronto entabla una amistad.

La película aborda un complicado tema: la asesinato existe, ocurre de guisa inesperada y hay que formarse a poblar con ello.

12. Tito y los pájaros, 2018 (Brasil)

El pequeño Tito vive en un mundo en donde las personas se ven amenazadas por una terrible enfermedad: la avenida del miedo. Tito está seguro de que la salvación de las personas reside en el enigma del canto de los pájaros. Un día, su padre construye una máquina capaz de comprender a los pájaros. Pero Tito no ha gastado a su papá desde hace mucho tiempo, y pegado con sus amigos, se dirige en su búsqueda.

Un tema que no es comprensible de entender para los adultos: frecuentemente, nos detenemos en la fuente de nuestro propios problemas, tenemos pánico y un miedo inadecuado. Antes de tomar una audacia, es necesario entender qué fue lo que provocó el miedo y cómo lo podemos equilibrar.

Un día, una cigüeña distraída se confunde y, en lado de traerle un bebé panda a la tribu panda, le lleva un oso de nombre Mic Mic. El responsable oso decide regresar al pequeño a sus padres en Corea del Sur y emprende un delirio en el que se encontrará con diferentes animales.

Amor, apoyo mutuo, amistad y la capacidad de ponerse en el lado de otro, la importancia de la tribu y los seres queridos, todo esto es el sentido principal de la película animada.

16. Home: no hay lado como el hogar, 2015 (EE. UU.)

Los extraterrestres capturaron la Tierra y se han ocupado de su embellecimiento. Una robusto pupila de nombre Tip escapa de los invasores de asombro y en su camino se encuentra con una criatura de nombre Oh, la cual ha sido rechazada por sus hermanos alienígenas. Este extraño par ahora debe excluir el planeta.

Honor y obligación, fe en el éxito cuando todo parece increíble, optimismo y la capacidad de reírse en las situaciones difíciles. Esta pareja te demostrará cómo se debe poblar con todas las fuerzas.

17. Un amigo detestable, 2019 (EE. UU. y China)

Una extraña criatura peluda escapa de un laboratorio de investigaciones. Se esconde en el tejado de una casa, en donde es descubierto por una pupila, que le cuenta sobre esto a sus amigos. Los niños deciden salvarlo de los científicos malvados y comienzan sus aventuras.

Los niños podrán observar cómo los personajes se desenvuelven delante una complicada situación y la guisa en que se ayudan mutuamente. Por supuesto, la película animada revela los títulos eternos: cuestiones del apego, tribu y la cercanía espiritual de las personas.

18. Pato, pato, chistoso, 2018 (China y EE. UU.)

¿Cómo encontrar un árbol vivo en un mundo en donde todo es de plástico? Por supuesto, sumergiéndose en la historia y salvando la naturaleza. Justo lo que hacen dos amigos: un pequeño y el peludo Lórax.

La película aborda cuestiones importantes sobre el estado ecológico de nuestro planeta y nos da a entender que no debemos destruir el lado en el que vivimos. La vida en el planeta y las futuras generaciones dependen de nosotros.
