The Avatar of Mestionora
~ Rozemyne Playlist || The commoner daughter of a soldier, turned goddess
A little playlist I made from the start of the series; to the very end
(This was a fun project I’ve been making since halfway through Part 5. I’m so excited to finally see it finished. This was a wild, long ride, and I can’t express how much fun I had. This series has made me go through such an emotional roller coaster, so I decided to share this playlist. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed making it.
I’m thinking about making a separate post explaining the background of my selection. Why i chose what songs, why in that order, and how I separated the parts. But given the size of the playlist, it may take a while. That said, if you’re interested and wanna know about anything, feel free to ask! I will answer with delight).

What If... Hunger Games
I recently watched The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and my head was instantly filled with ideas. This is probably my dumbest idea yet, but I also started thinking about the SCP Foundation which led me to thinking of another What If Scenario. Though now I'm not sure how it should even play out if it could even play out at all.
Should it go like this?
The Capital: SCP Foundation
District 1: Global Occult Coalition
District 2: The Horizon Initiative
District 3: Church of the Broken God
District 6: Shark Punching Center
District 7: Three Moons Initiative
District 8: The Black Queen
District 9: Anderson Robotics
District 10: Promethius Labs
District 11: Alexylva University
District 12: Deer College
District 13: Medician Academy of Occult Art
District 14: Ambrose Restaurants
District 15: Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd
District 16: Dr Wondertainment
District 17: Herman Fuller's Circus of the Disquieting
District 18: Arcadia
District 19: The Chicago Spectre
District 20: Goldbaker-Reinz Ltd
District 21: Greazeburger Incorporated
District 22: GRU Division "P"
District 23: IJAMEA
District 24: Just Girly Things
District 25: ORIA
District 26: Parawatch
District 27: TotleighSoft
District 28: FBI: Unusual Incidents Unit
District 29: Are we Cool Yet?
District 30: Gamers Against Weed
District 31: Oneiroi Collective
District 32: The Fifth Church
District 33: The Chaos Insurgency
District 34: Valravn Corporation
District 35: Children of the Scarlet King
District 36: The Factory
District 37: Church of the Second Hytoth
District 38: Sarkic Cults
District 39: Vikander-Kneed Technical Media
District 40: The Wandsmen
District 41: Manna Charitable Foundation
District 42: Wilson's Wildlife Solutions
District 43: "Nobody"
District 44: The Serpent's Hand
***
Or perhaps more like this?
The Capital (SCP Foundation/ Global Occult Coalition/ The Horizon Initiative/ Church of the Broken God)
District 1: Reality Warping Science and Dimensional Control (Shark Punching Center/ Three Moons Initiative)
District 2: Androids, Artificial Intelligence, and Advanced Machinery (Anderson Robotics/ Promethius Labs)

District 12: Transportation, Vehicles, Packaging, and Mass Production (The Chaos Insurgency/ The Factory/ The Black Queen/ "Nobody")
District 13: Fruits, Vegetables, Medicine, and Livestock (Manna Charitable Foundation/ Wilson's Wildlife Solutions)
District 14: Slave Labor (The Serpent's Hand) - Destroyed after the "Rebellion".
***
I don't know maybe I'm looking at it all wrong or maybe I'm missing something. I'm just posting it for now and maybe I'll pick it up as an actual concept for the SCP: Horror Movie Files later. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks I'll come up with a more fleshed out idea. Or maybe someone more talented than me will look at this and decide how to make it better. Either one is fine.

Hi, I’ve always wondered- why do you write Steve referring to Peter as “little guy” so frequently (instead of any other terms of endearment or just ‘Peter’)? Just curious!
Hey! Thank you so much for your ask, and for reading my fics! 💗
Steve does call Peter by his name pretty often, but his term of endearment for him is the ‘little guy’, as you’ve noticed. There’s a couple of reasons why I chose this.
One, in my eyes, Steve doesn’t use a lot of nicknames for his loved ones, preferring to stick with one or two. He calls Tony ‘sweetheart’ and the Irish ‘mo gra’ in some of my fics, which means my love. For Peter, I wanted to go with something a bit different that Tony’s ‘buddy’, and ‘son’ just seemed too… I don’t know, I just can’t picture Steve calling Peter that. Little guy is sweet without being too sugary and since Peter is pretty small, it fits him well.
Two, in The First Avenger, when Steve is chosen to join the SSR, Dr Erskine says, “Well, there are already so many big men fighting this war, maybe what we need now is the little guy.” This is an important line in that it shows his acceptance of Steve even though he’s not the traditional soldier-type. This had a big impact on Steve, as later when the two of them are having their toast in Steve’s barracks room, Steve says, “to the little guys”. At the time, Steve had no idea that the serum would transform him size-wise, so he was prepared to spend the rest of his life just doing what was right as a ‘little guy’. It’s always been my headcanon that Steve sees the same kind of strength and determination in Peter, since he’s on the smaller side too 💗
I hope this makes sense! Thank you so much for the ask! 💗

I was tagged by @ellanainthetardis :)
1. What is the color of your hairbrush?
Black!
2. A food you never eat?
There’s a LOT. But I suppose a lot of fruits, I like juice but not the fruit. Also donuts, I’ve never had one and I don’t think I ever will the texture lowkey scares me haha.
3. Are you typically too warm or too cold?
Too cold.
4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago?
Writing a Hayffie au based on crash landing on you. Haymitch’s sarcastic comments could not stay in my head.
5. What is your favorite candy bar?
I don’t like sweets haha.
6. Have you ever been to a professional sporting event?
As far as I recall, no.
7. What was the last thing you said out loud?
“Are you ready to go to bed?” My dog likes to take a toy up to sleep with him so I have to ask him every night. He is very good at learning words. It’s like having a toddler lmao.
8. What is your favorite ice cream?
Chocolate!
9. What was the last thing you had to drink?
Tea!
10. Do you like your wallet?
I actually don’t have one. I was supposed to buy one two years ago but nothing I’ve seen has fit what I want so I’ve been making do with a pouch in my bag (yes it is as annoying as you would imagine it is but I refuse to spend my money on anything that isn’t exactly what I want xD).
11. What was the last thing you ate?
Buttermilk chicken strips and vegetables. I promise I’m not a five year old I’ve just had an intense craving for vegetables and it’s all I had in my house haha.
12. Did you buy any new clothes last weekend?
Yes I did! I saved a few dresses and a few went on sale so I treated myself to them as a birthday gift :)
13. The last sporting event you watched?
Probably rugby? I don’t care for sports but I do like rugby players lmao.
14. What is your favorite flavor of popcorn?
I don’t like popcorn :)
15. Who was the last person you sent a text message to?
My best friend!
16. Ever go camping?
Once in year 7 (when I was 11). And it was awful. A weekend school trip and I ended up sick so I spent the whole time in a tent with slugs and being miserable haha. I will never go again, I do not like insects a t all.
17. Do you take vitamins?
No.
18. Do you go to church every Sunday?
I’ve never been to church! I’ve always wanted to go or perhaps become religious but the older I get the more uncomfortable I feel about going on my own so... I’m not sure I will ever go.
19. Do you have a tan?
Never. Everybody else right now is tanning but you will never catch me burning, I am very diligent about SPF. I am not aging any quicker than I already am, I wear it even in winter xD.
20. Do you prefer Chinese food or pizza?
I’ve never had Chinese food but I’m not a big fan of pizza either... So I guess neither.
21. Do you drink your soda with a straw?
Yes, but only because I order soda at restaurants :)
22. What color socks do you usually wear?
White!
23. Ever drive above the speed limit?
Only on the countryside roads. It’s fun going around all the bends and they’re usually quiet.
24. What terrifies you?
Being still. Not moving forward constantly. And sickness! I am very emetophobic.
25. Look to your left what do you see?
A glass of water and a pack of mints because I can’t sleep unless I have drank a pint of water haha (and I have a little bit of an unhealthy mint habit)
26. What chore do you hate?
Hoovering! One of my dogs sheds a lot so I have to hoover every day but it always hurts my back. And I always have to get every single hair so it takes forever.
27. What do you think of when you hear an Australian accent?
“What have we got here, eh? A couple of showgirls?” In a Courtney Act voice haha.
28. What is your favorite soda?
Orangina!
29. Do you go into a fast food place or just hit the drive through?
Drive through! I feel very bad about it because I really have no reason other than the fact that I am a very anxious person and going in stresses me out xD.
30. Who was the last person you talked to?
Does my dog count? If not perhaps my neighbour.
31. Favorite cut of beef?
The normal part? I suppose? I’m not a big fan of beef to be honest.
32. Last song you listened to?
Chapstick by Todrick Hall and Trixie Mattel
33. Last book you read?
The ballad of songbirds and snakes. I really do not read enough physical books anymore. I need to find some more but I always end up not making time :(
34. Favorite day of the week?
Wednesday!
35. Can you say the alphabet backwards?
Nope.
36. How do you like your coffee?
I have never had coffee and I have no intention to try. The smell puts me off. I’ll stick with tea.
37. Favorite pair of shoes?
Probably just my trainers? I am not really a shoe person.
38. At what time do you usually go to bed?
We are definitely not talking about how lockdown has turned me from a 11pm latest person back to my insomniac 2am days. We are not. I don’t know how I’m going to adjust back to normal sleep schedules again xD.
39. At what time do you normally get up?
Any time between 7-9. It really depends on the day.
40. What do you prefer - sunrises or sunsets?
Sunsets. I always walk my dog during sunset! I don’t like sunrises, they remind me of school lmao.
41. How many blankets are on your bed?
Just one but it is entirely too hot for blankets :(
42. Describe your kitchen plates?
All white. Occasionally there’s a purple flower on them. There are two green plates I picked up on a whim and very much hate but other than that it’s all white.
43. Do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage?
White wine.
44. Do you play cards?
Not at all.
45. What color is your car?
White.
46. Can you change a tire?
No and every time I think about it I just hope someone will take pity on me because I have no idea what I would do in that situation.
47. What is your favorite province?
I guess north? I live in the middle but I do love north wales. So north for wales and wales only haha.
48. Favorite job you ever had?
I don’t think there’s really a favourite to be honest.
49. How did you get your biggest scar?
I don’t think I have any scars? I think maybe some scratch marks on my thigh from when I was younger, I used to have psoriasis and it was so itchy I would cut my skin itching it :(
50. What did you do today that made someone happy?
I don’t know about people but I walked my dog and he was very happy about it. Since lockdown I give him an extra walk to play ball and he loves it so much he cries after I eat dinner because he’s impatient.
I never have anybody to tag so I will leave it open. These took way longer than I thought lmao.

1. I didn't count :/ around 70-80

10. Hmm this is hard, I pretty much liked everything. Maybe The Queen's Gambit
11. Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe. Realistic YA romance is usually a big no no for me, even if it's lgbtq. I liked it though
12. Aristotle and Dante again😂 I unexpectedly found it in small bookshop in the nearby town. I didn't even know they sold English books and that was the day I realised they have a whole floor for them

33. Yes, multiple things unfortunately, for example Caraval and Tom Jones
34. Idk I don't really share with people what I read so I don't really recommend either

‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ is essentially a coming of age story where the main character meets a manic pixie dream girl and starts a relationship with her, but instead of becoming a better person by the end of the story through said relationship, he decides it’s not worth it and turns into the worst possible version of himself.

Having recently finished rewatching all five seasons of Leverage before diving into Leverage: Redemption, I have to say that the new series is just...better. Not that the original was bad, but the new show takes what worked about the original and vastly improves upon it.
I find Harry Wilson to be a much more compelling character than Nate Ford ever was, because he’s someone we see face down the errors of his ways and how, through joining the Leverage team, he’s trying to make amends. Nate was already disillusioned with the system he’d been working in when we met him in the pilot and while the writers did have some interesting ideas for his character with his alcoholism and his history with his father, it never felt like either of those were explored with enough depth to make them compelling. He stops drinking between seasons one and two, but falls off the wagon to help sell a con, and the fact that he’s an alcoholic is only occasionally brought up after that with no real resolution for it, and his relationship with his father gets even fewer mentions with even less resolution. Harry, on the other hand, is new as a criminal, but he wants to work to make amends for the wrongs he’s committed -- maybe sometimes too much, to the point where it nearly blows the con. There’s more to explore with the character, sure, but this is a good start.
Breanna is a nice addition as well. Bringing in a younger character, especially one who’s grown up in the post-9/11 world we live in and doesn’t know anything different is interesting, but beyond that, her desire to prove herself as more than just the hacker is very endearing, and I’m very interested to see where the character goes in future episodes. I hope that at least one of those episodes involves Hardison coming back and seeing how she’s grown as part of the team. I also really like the mentor-mentee relationship she’s got going with Parker and Elliot (and Sophie too, to a lesser extent).
As for the three returners, I love how they’ve evolved in the years since the end of the original show. Parker especially, seeing a therapist and being able to do work as both a grifter and a thief, which just adds to the arsenal for the team, and gives Sophie a chance to flex her skills as the team’s new mastermind, a role she’s inhabiting very well.
Overall, I think Leverage: Redemption is doing a better job at finding the right balance between character development and the con than the original series did and I am 100 percent here for it.
