I Need Protection

BG3 x DBH

Based on my headcanon back to 2018 about little boy Elijah building prototype Chloe to protect himself. Then it became my first BG3 headcanon right after I bought the game last August accidentally.

Going through all the origin introduction videos I was like "wait this vampire sounds like Neil? He IS Neil??? wait this tiefling is a cyborg with a mechanical heart? Damn that's Kamski and his Chloe prototype, I'm game and they will be my one true pairing!"

And they are.

Although this headcanon became OOC after I dug into the characters, I'm still happy that I finally managed to make it a mini comic anyway.

I couldn't decide which haircut i should keep so i kept both lol

Gale and Astarion's Bookclub

I know, I know this jokes has been done multiple times, but it's still funny.I think

Sometimes I forget that most of the characters are supposed to be in their 30-40s and even as an vampire-elf astarion is technically an old man so…they would probably enjoy some calm, cozy hours.

Though tbh this is not very accurate to the characters. I don’t think Astarion would doubt even for a second if Wyll would reject Halsin or not. I mean it’s Wyll we’re talking about here. However, in my Wyll playthrough; after Halsin’s proposition and asking Astarion for his thoughts, I couldn’t help but pick up a hint of insecurity despite him giving his permission (i rejected Halsin regardless). Thus this comic appeared before me.

On a separate note, id like to shout out my friend who I’ve been slowly converting into a wyllstarion shipper and who also hates halsin

Anyway, I wasn't too thrilled with it. I grappled with this project for months, on and off. You can easily spot panels done around the same time because my style underwent big changes over the past half year. I gave up on trying to fix it, and got it done. Moving on.

She teases~ "The dumb ones pound hardest" is from Big Mouth (s3e10). After I had "the talk" with Minsc in game I just had to make this comic. I like to think that Astarion accepts all of Durge's worst parts but even he has a line. Thanks for reading!
