The Balboa Fun Zone ferris wheel has been standing since 1936 (a special year 🚢). Its been moved once...maybe twice. And amidst COVID-19, it still stands as colorful and as welcoming as before all this took place. It's a reminder to me that a crisis like this can't keep a good wheel down. Spin on in the silver linings of our hearts, fabled ferris wheel. Also, hot dogs are...a staple of American...and German...heritage. And this restaurant's flag waves strong in this Fun Zone favored tradition. So, fight on fighter! Philippians 4:8. Balboa is a refuge when overworked and overwhelmed. I know I'm not alone when I say that it brings back a lot of memories and makes me think of God's handiwork.
