Maybe time to start learning some real freediving skills from these super impressive ultimate ocean humans⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Togeaners, ini adalah perkampungan Bajau (bajo/seagypsi) di Togean. Rumah-rumah mereka terdiri dari kayu bertiang tinggi diatas air laut. Anak-anak mereka pun menjadikan laut sebagai halaman bermain mereka.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ada yang unik yaitu tradisi bapongka merupakan tradisi berpetualang dilautan dalam waktu yang lama. Mereka hidup diatas perahu. Semua dilakukan dari atas perahu. Tentunya dengan bekal beras dan rempah-rempah serta kebutuhan lain yang telah dipersiapkan⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ Atraksi orang Bajo menangkap ikan dengan menebarkan jaring lalu menepuk laut secara beramai-ramai adalah tontonan yang mengasyikkan, juga pemancing gurita yang hanya bertelekan sampan, sementara separuh badan dan kepalanya menyelam di air. Pemanah ikan adalah cerita paling eksotis dari orang Bajo. Bangau Bangau dan Kg. Halo yang sudah tertubuh lebih 20 tahun. Kg. Bangau Bangau and Kg. Halo are the examples and have existed for over 20 years. What you see here is the flip side of your awesome holiday pics. The Bajau Laut have been a nomadic tribe, choosing the sea as their main provider. They are being forced to live on mainland. Slowly being stripped of what made them whoe they are. They have no citizenship and therefore no rights to public amenities or schools. It's all fun and games and you love to talk about your silent retreat to align your chakras and center yourself, however, I'm surprised to encounter very few travellers that even bring the subject up. While we are here enjoying a "well-deserved" break from our lives, we only able to do it because there usually are kids no older than 10 or 12 years old serving our food, men who got their passport stolen at the border and can't get back to their families –the reason they came here in first place so they could better provide for them... It's not "I'm a better traveller than you" situation here, but I am sincerely appalled by the very few people that are aware of their surroundings, the drunken nights or the beautiful sunsets in whatever beach and won't talk about conflicting feelings while travelling.
