I’m going to be honest between me falling I love with Spanner and Gamma Fight 2 Electric Boogaloo I totally forgot about the Baishana fight like it was pretty mid all things considered and I would very much prefer if we could go back to my little guy

byakuran had so much Power and a Huge AF Skyscraper to vibe in, so i guess it'd make sense to make a mafia family out of people who had a lot of sway in italy.

good lord what the hell did this guy even Do to get that far. his sweet talk charm people-smarts must be level 99 with how many people fell at his feet one way or another............

no wonder uni was the only one that could deal with him family-wise LOL

Dream + kitchen/food

Byakuran has laid out a feast upon a long, long table, much like the Last Supper of Christian faith, but there are no apostles surrounding it. Instead, it's the people from Millefiore as it was before, all smiling, laughing and having fun.

And it's not just Uni, Shoichi and Spanner. Genkishi and Gamma are in a one-sided heated discussion that he can't hear, Kikyo is watching them with snacks in his hand. Bluebell is running off with Nosaru, Daisy has one of the two Ginger Breads' hats, Zakuro is filling a bowl with soup, Torikabuto is organizing the dishes.

Iris's hair is easy to spot by the drinks, the other Ginger Bread is taking off his hat willingly, Baishana's turban is tall enough to see past Tazaru... all the rest of former-Millefiore stands in the large room. Chatting or shouting, munching snacks and sipping drinks.

With this many people, it counts as a full-fledged party, doesn't it?

Eventually, he wakes up naturally for once, only to find the nostalgia was just a dream. He will never see a lot of them again. The people there he does have now will never be happy in the same way they were in that dream.

But... seeing all of them like that, even if it's just in his imagination, feels nice in a way he wouldn't know how to describe if he ever shares it with anyone else.

... He rolls over and closes his eyes again. Maybe if he's lucky, it'll pick back up where it left off.

oh, this is fun and interesting! i don't really have much to add, but i just want to point out that the 10th gen's guardians' missions are just that, vongola guardians' missions. it's mentioned super quick in the manga, but before he fights baishana in the future arc, ryohei says something like "i don't care about your (the millefiore's) guardians' missions, because as a member of vongola, i only need to stay true to the vongola guardians' missions".

so like, canonically, everything about guardians as a concept is entirely arbitrary, and already depends on the family you're in/the family head. (and maybe even on what you want to be/think you'd be the best at. and also maybe could depend on what your sky thinks of it too.) so yeah, there's canonically room to be flexible and play around with separating the guardian's title from the guardian's mission and the guardian's flames (and the guardian's personality), and mixing them or whatnot. anyway, just some more food for thought!

Funky Thought

The Guardian titles but divorced from the flames the actual person holds. Like a rain guardian serves to wash away the blood of the battle, so whichever person in the circle that does that best gets to have the title regardless of what flame they have.

and since what each guardian does is pretty vague, its up to the family/head to decide who fits what title without thinking of their flames :D

ryohei was soooo cool during his fight against baishana!! very hot too, and of course, super strong! he dominated that fight easy without breaking a sweat and i love that for him.

love too that clearly even ten years later he's still super proud of having had colonnello as his master!! like, the way the names of his techniques (maximum ingram) are still inspired by colonnello's? it's very likely colonnello kept being his master--as in, actually training him and not just in name because of that one time during the varia arc--during those ten years too even after the varia arc (like, ryohei still literally calls him master), and just, yeah, i love it

3. Which character would you want to be friends with?

If I had to pick one character I think it would be Chrome. She’s cool and sweet and I’d like being someone she can trust <:3 Also by extension I’d be Mukuro’s friend because he’s funny and can’t do shit to me if Chrome likes me. By my headcanons same with Hibari. Three favs in one go

12. If you could have a Flame, box animal, and weapon/fighting style, what would you want?

Mist and cloud are my favorite flames so I’d love to have both or either. Mist is my top fav so maybe Cloud as secondary. Weapon wise I love fancy knives, daggers, and switchblades so maybe one or multiple of them. For a box weapon I think a mist fox would be neat cause I love foxes and they’re often associated with being tricksters

22. If you could change anything in canon, what would it be?

The thing I find most frustrating about canon is how many major plot points went unresolved. I’d give Tsuna and Kyoko’s relationship a more definitive conclusion, like at least her rejecting him and they remain friends, or they actually do get together. It partially was the point of the entire series and just, nothing happened? Also I’d make Mukuro and Hibari’s rivalry show up more, not even for shipping reasons, but cause I find them really funny and it just kinda (uncharacteristically for both of them) fizzled out for no reason. They had a perfect opportunity to fight in the final arc and didn’t? The Simon family would also be a lot more involved in the final arc cause the way they got tossed aside after being so powerful in the previous arc was kinda garbage. There is so much more I’d like to change for canon but these are what I can think of off the top of my head.

Also *stomps the shit out of Shamal, Iris, Baishana, Glo Xinia, and all cases of Chrome getting sexualized and distastefully harassed* These simply don’t need to exist 😌

you know why i've always liked this bit? it's because it means the vongola guardians' mission is just that, the vongola guardians' mission. which means there's in fact as many different guardians' mission as there are guardians, tho of course they're bound to overlap with each other to some extent, and i just think it's a fun bit of worldbuilding
