Do we all need a quick recap after like a 5 months hiatus? Perhaps.

So, Johnny Zest leaves his long term (like 10 years long) boyfriend Kale (Caleb) behind to move to Del Sol Valley to make his dreams of becoming a stand up comedian come true!

He meets and befriends Venessa and Don.

Johnny loses his dream job when he refuses to hook up with big shot music star Thorne Bailey.

This prompts the new found friends to focus in on two new goals: get Johnny to become famous anyway, and (perhaps even more important) get revenge on Thorne.

Being who he is, Don gets a bit sidetracked and starts instantly flirting with Johnny, who, despite having his loyal boyfriend of 10 years back at home, reciprocates pretty much just as fast.

They dance around each other until finally one day Kale comes to visit Johnny in Del Sol Valley and proposes to him, which sends Johnny into a freak-out spiral so severe he ends up sleeping with Don. Johnny tells Kale the next day and is immediately dumped.

After a few weeks of a depressive episode Johnny announces that the best way to cure his blues is to get his long awaited revenge. And so the gang set up a plan to find and release information that Thorne does not write his own music, like he’s always claimed, but that he has been stealing the credit from his own wife all this time. They succeed.

And that’s pretty much us recapped!

Been watching Modern Family cause I am seriously invested in this whole Haley and Andy thing, but kinda put off because the humor in the series takes a very sharp turn right in the middle of season six. Like in one episode Cam and Mitchell used the paradox of tolerance to shame a bunch of their queer friends who were protesting a restaurant that wouldn't give health insurance to queer people.

This might be an unpopular opinion but Tucker wasn’t wrong. Bailey wasn’t either. The thing that bugged me about the end of Bailey & Tucker’s marriage was that it was framed as Tucker was being selfish for wanting to have more time with Bailey. He was selfish and she was a martyr because she was sacrificing time for him to save lives.

Her job was very important and sometimes it has to take precedence over everything else. There’s just no denying that Bailey often chose her job over her marriage when she didn’t have to. Maybe she did it because she knew deep down she didn’t want to be married to him anymore and was just afraid to face it.

Idk, all I know is Tucker wasn’t wrong nor was he the villain.

When Will Enough Be Enough?

When Ralph Pittman arrived at the mental health retreat, he was so insulted that Drew greeted Aaron Ross before him, that he hugged every woman in the room except from Drew.

The public display of disrespect is humiliating for Drew.

Ralph has perhaps got the most sensitive ego I’ve ever seen. Why is he so insecure?

He’s the one who left for days without telling his wife where he was.

He was the one who allowed his assistant to flirt with him, totally discarding his wife’s feelings.

When he didn’t like that a therapist tried to hold him accountable, he quit going to therapy. Like a child.

They couldn’t even enjoy each other on a date night, in front of cameras!

When she told him that she was going to be gone for 10 days to film Todd’s movie, he had to mention that he had always been busier than her!

But it’s as if he had to put her down to make himself feel better.

However, in a season that has been filled with a lot of nonsense without substance, it was nice to see Sanya Richards-Ross telling her husband and her family that she’s pregnant.

Sanya may not be the most explosive housewife, but I’m enjoying the journey with her.

And Kenya Moore is longing for a sibling for her daughter Brooklyn, and invited Kandi Burruss and Shamea Morton over to Moore Manor to talk about surrogacy.

Shamea and Cynthia Bailey have joined the group again.

I guess Kenya miss the old faces when the ones they’ve got now has caused nothing but toxic chaos and division.
