I will say that itās a little more fun than Arceus tbh.
Arceus just felt kinda empty and boring imo... and Arceus has a bunch of gameplay features I didnāt care for either... *glares at limited bagspace*
#Mika shushup#That being said I think Arceus should have been this year's 'christmas game' or whatever Gamefreak is doing#And put SV back in the oven for a little bit longer.#I do wish I had the knowledge of 'you're not gonna like Arceus' tho...#I gave it a shot. I played it until Arceus told me to go catch all the Pokemon and I'm like 'nah bro I'm good'#And honestly it's just an OK game...#I'd rather have the usual.

A small haul from Angelic Pretty Paris. The skirt print is Guardian Unicorn.
#r.i.p. to my bank account#fortunately for my wallet AP still insists on making those stupid no boobie sack dresses that cut to a waist at like tour collar bones#so I only got a skirt and not the three jsks that I actually really liked the look of#also the jsks cost more than all of these items combined)#the teacups at the store were also tempting but I had almost NO bagspace left so#womp womp#lolita fashion#eglcommunity#angelic pretty

[ Skyrim SE ]Ā First-Timer Derpnanigans
Decided to try Skyrim Special EditionĀ for the first time, ever, much to the hilarity and amusement of my friends.Ā Through a number of mods, I was even able to make Aultena there!Ā ^_^Ā Geez, her nose alone took me foreverĀ to refine, though, even then I still wasnāt 100% happy with it.Ā :|Ā Ā I have an invincible horse mod.Ā Horses can scale mountains if you hit the jump button enough.Ā Giants are bad.Ā Trolls are also bad.Ā Thank god for mods that give me nigh infinite bagspace.Ā Iād never be able to move anywhere, ever.

Early Access and Launch week survival guide: What to expect and prepare for
-----
Just a little list of what players can and should expect and prepare for when Shadowbringers goes into early access next week, followed by official launch shortly after, from someone who has survived many, many launch days for expansion packs.
In no particular order, here is a bundle of some helpful tips and reminders:
-Clean your inventory and retainers out: Do this and do this soon. New quests means new rewards and randomly obtained items dropped from monsters. If you do not have the bagspace now, you will definitely not have the bagspace when ShB drops! Donāt be caught with full bags!
-Turn off shout, yell and titles: Sometimes people want to avoid all things spoiler related, no matter how mild or vague the spoiler might be. So just to be safe, make sure you turn off Shout and Yell, and turn off Titles! Last time a spoiler title got through for the MSQ, itās been changed since then, but just in case! This is a reminder to do that before servers go down for maintenance!
-Blacklist ShB stuff on social media: People are gonna wanna scream about spoilers on their social media, and itās their right to do so! Itās their little corner of the internet! But to protect yourself, be sure to blacklist appropriately and, if you have to, temporarily avoid those who do not tag! You can always refollow after youāve caught up! :D
-Get some IRL stuff done before launch: During the day servers are down for maintenance, get your house chores done! Do your laundry, clean those dishes, take all the trash out, buy some good quick snacks and tidy up your space. Make sure everything is clean, ready and set for extended periods of gameplay so you can play mostly uninterrupted. Bonus points if you prep throughout the week leading up!
-Take plenty of AFK breaks: Ensure to drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, shower and just take time away from the computer to walk (Please take care of family and pets too!). Donāt play the game without breaks. I know those queue times are gonna be rough, but playing without pause is really bad for your health, trust me. Look up Final Fantasy XI āPandemonium Wardenā and read about that 18 hour boss without breaks. Nasty stuff.
-Expect big queues upon logging in, especially during zero hour: No matter the data center you play on, expansion packs will bring a lot of new players and returning players. And people will likely server jump to avoid queues and fill up servers that are currently empty. Just have patience, make sure you have something to do while waiting(download a phone game or work on some art, ect), the queues will pass and things will settle. They always do. :]
-If we have the AFK campers like Stormblood: Calmly bring the issue up to the dev team on the forum so they can engage the daily server reset again. Though Iām sure theyāll be expecting it again, but just incase, donāt panic! Weāve survived this before. :D
-Expect the inevitable DDOS: Someone out there is going to see the FFXIV community excited for a good time and will want to ruin it, Iāve seen it happen with MMOs and any new online games (Even Overwatch got hit on launch day). If the servers start crashing a lot out of no where, assume itās the DDOSers at their nonsense again and be patient, the dev team will be working around the clock to get servers up and stablized.
-Have a lil bit of patience and make alternate plans for in-game: Early Access and Launch week for any game is rough, so try to be patient. Queues will be long, servers will be shaky, DDOSing will be happening, loads of players will be fighting the same quest mobs, worlds will be clogged. Just be as patient as you can, things will smooth out gradually and all will be well. If you plan to do MSQ and its a chaos zone, make sure you have a fallback plan to do something else in-game while you wait for things to calm down!
-There will be bugs: Unfortunately thatās just how these things are. Youāre probably going to hit a quest or a dungeon that will be bugged to heckity that the dev-team didnāt find in their testing, or it didnāt happen until the servers went live. Bugs are sneaky lil shits that will show up in the least expected of places, so be sure to report them and know that the dev team will be on it as fast as they can. Most importantly, be kind: The rush to end-game always gets pretty intense, especially with all the multitude of problems that come when the game launches. So be sure to be kind to one another, especially to our new players, who will be very confused and fumbling around trying to make sense of our crazy, content-packed game. ;w;

my king, is your hair an entrance to hammerspace/bagspace, and if so, do you store things in it?
The workings of Gerudo hair are a closely guarded secret that is forbidden knowledge to any non-Gerudo. You could not fathom of what my fiery mane is truly capable.

Look at this Weird Boy I found.
Iāve had various town portal scrolls taking up bagspace, so I used [Scroll of Town Portal: Lianātril]. It took me to a ruin at the northern edge of Highmountain, with more sunken ruins offshore. I popped my Underlight Angler on, found a giant slimy clam that gave me water breathing anyway, then went about exploring.
There were some ruined elven buildings with Naga torches and crates scattered about, but the place was abandoned save for the odd Saltscale Grouper and Knobbed Whelk. Some crabs, a battle pet or two, not much else. Further out was a collapsed bridge leading into the Great Sea.
At the end of the bridge lies this circle of arches, atop which sat the Salty Kraken. When I swam up to him he didnāt attack, didnāt move, didnāt do anything. I sat there for some time and eventually a blood elf priest and orc warrior approached. The priest mind controlled the Salty Kraken, and she was able to swim him around in circles. The warrior taunted the Salty Kraken, and was shortly killed by basic attacks. The Salty Kraken hit hard, considering the warrior was level 110 and the kraken was 99 Elite.
The Salty Kraken apparently spawns in random locations underwater, with a random level and health pool. No pattern to it. No achievement. No loot. Nothing.
I named him Ed. I love Ed. What a chill and cool dude.

It is as was foretold... kinda?
As I was at a very low point yesterday, I went ahead and did the one thing that could make me feel worse and re-subscribed to World of Warcraft, and then spent ten hours reorganising my bagspace across a dozen characters. Thereās been some great changes in the game which means Iāve reclaimed stupid amounts of space and should never again have to keep posting stuff to myself to create extra storage (and headaches), and Iāve been able to sell or destroy a load of stuff that was only hanging around because of old mechanics.
Still, even though I spent so long shuffling pixels, I didnāt get through all my characters. However, when I went to bed I guesstimated that, should I arise at my usual earlyish hour, I could get them all attended to before work, the assumption being that if I fell into old habits this quickly then that would obviously be what Iād be doing. I went to bed semi-satisfied with my day, and joyfully the thrumming cupboard was silent so I slept through for nearly eight hours.
When I awoke this morning, I did indeed have enough time to complete my game of Sim Librarian, but instead I went back to bed for another couple of hours because I was still quite tired. And after that, I did a couple of other things on here, and caught up with last nightās Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and now Iām just about to get ready for work. All of this without once thinking to open WoW.
So yes, Iām still capable of being sucked into a video landscape thatās absorbed years of my life already. But Iām also able to resist it. My recent achievement of fiscal stability means that whenever that one small part of my brain that counts these things pops up and saysĀ āyouāre wasting Ā£x.xx by not playing today!ā I can look it calmly in the eye and tell it that itās really not that important. So long as I play enough to feel Iām getting enjoyment from the game, Iāll keep paying. Much like Iām paying for Geek and Sundryās Twitch channel but not constantly watching their output, or paying for my TV licence without keeping the TV tuned to the BBC 24/7.
Itās a small victory, but it feels good.

Now weāre talking!
You make the THORNS OF OGLOGOTH.Ā
The needles seem to shiver with the dark desires of THE DEEP ONE. Any sane adventurer would cast these instruments of the occult into the FURTHEST RING and forget they ever existed.
Pssh. Come on! By the time you reach level 100 in WoW, even theĀ basic gear is powered by a few souls of the damned. And in a game like Diablo or Path of Exile? Ha! Fugetaboutit! If it doesnāt resonate with the will of at least one dark god, itās not even worth the bagspace!

The Road to Amaro I have a lot of ground to cover, but I needs me a cute amaro-face birb-llama.Ā Getting MCH to 60 tonight likely, then working all those Level 50ā²ish jobs to 60 to even everything up, maybe ditch some lower level gear Iāll no longer need. (My bagspace...!Ā D: )Ā Wonāt be done overnight, but it gives me something to work toward.Ā Goals!Ā Ā

Needing reagents for everything.
Lamenting low bagspace due to ammo.
(Not realizing the bank was a thing and thinking you only got to keep whatever was in your bags)
Rooftop hoping, and subsequent corpse hopping, in Org to get to their city-based instance.
Raid wars in the tram instance.
Feeding your pet.
Having to strategically pick your pet.
Looking for Dungeon via trade, without heirlooms, having the dungeon take 3x longer than now, and actually having a nice time getting to know everyone.
The clown armor we all wore before transmogs. Wearing a uniform gear set was prestigious.
just vanilla things
add your own
doing the Wetlands run and dying 20+ times because thereās no boat to Stormwind from Teldrassil but you really want to play a night elf
running literally all the way to one end of Duskwood and back and hoping to god you donāt run into Stitches because he will beat your ass
also running all the way to one end of Stranglethorn and back
no mounts until level 40
not even being able to afford level 60 mounts
those level 60 night elf mounts that didnāt have the armor on them and Iām a fool for being excited when they got armor
literally anything involving the Onyxia quest chain including EVERY TIME someone triggered the event in the keep room and all of the guards turned into dragons
Naxx and Molten Core attunement quests
Cheating your way into places like underneath Stormwind and Ironforge and also the Ironforge airport and that place you always flew over in Wetlands on the flight path because NO FLYING
when you actually needed every single flight path and if you didnāt know one in between where you were and your destination you were screwed
I dinged level 60 killing the mobs outside of Karazhan before they were leveled up and Kara became a raid
Stormwind park? but also no Stormwind harbor and also the old Stormwind auction houseĀ
that PvP building in SW was like a special kidās club because only people with Knight ranking or some such higher could enter it
easily attainable PvP titles
old water textures
the pre-AQ event when you had to feed NPCs literally any crafting materials you ownedĀ
boy anduin wrynn (oh how far weāve come) and lady katrana prestor chilling next to each other in the keepĀ
no Malfurion in Darnassus it was just Tyrande (but also remember when Staghelm was in Darnassus too)
for some reason I miss those quests in Darkshore where youād go down the coast and find the remains of turtles and huge sea thresher beasts and have to turn them in to an elf lady who Iām pretty sure died in Cata
having to go to your class trainer to actively learn spells every time you leveled up and sometimes youād get lazy and not go but then youād be weak AF and levels behind and learning new spells was just so exciting and rewarding
lockpickingĀ (I remember digging up all the chests from around Sunken Temple and in Redridge Lake just to level up my lockpicking skill like it was basically a third profession)
weapon skills
EARNING REPUTATION WITH THE CENTAUR CLANS IN DESOLACE
