2010'S GLAM - DARK EYES, PINK LIPS: FAITH’S GUIDE

OVERVIEW

This look mixes a matte base with glossy lips. The emphasis is placed mainly on the eyes, and the other focus is the lips. This is a good everyday look that can be worn for any occasion.

YOU WILL NEED

BASE

Apply primer all over your face

#faithtip: use a powder brush to apply baby powder all over your face

Your face will look ashy after this step, but applying foundation/tinted moisturiser will fix this

Blend it in with a damp beauty blender

#faithtip: dampen your beauty blender with setting spray for easier blending and a longer lasting base

After blending in your foundation/tinted moisturiser, apply a concealer that is only slightly lighter than your skin tone to the inner corner of your under-eye

Place concealer to the end of your under-eyes following the shape of your eyes

Blend it in well with a beauty blender

Take a powder brush and some pressed powder and apply all over your face

Now, apply setting powder to your under eyes following your eye shape.

Place a line of setting powder under your cheeks

Let the setting powder sit whilst you focus on another part of your face

EYEBROWS

Eyebrows play a very vital role in this look, they help your eyes stand out more

This step will be easier if your brows have a defined shape

Brush through your eyebrows with brow gel

Use a brow brush dipped in pomade, to draw a line at the bottom of your brow starting from the front of your brow to the end

Draw a similar line at the top of your brows

Fill in the space (don't fill in the very front of your brows to create an almost ombre effect)

Apply eyebrow gel on top

Then use a small brush to apply concealer underneath your eyebrows

Blend well with a beauty blender

Apply setting powder to under your brow

LASHES

Lashes are the main event for this look

Select thick and long lashes/ lash clusters that suit your eye shape

#faithtip D-Curl lashes are your best friend

STRIP LASHES

But for this step apply glue to strip lashes

Wave the lashes around for a bit so the glue dries a tiny bit and feels a little bit sticky

Place them on the lash line and adjust where needed (using tweezers or fingers)

CLUSTER LASHES

Strip lashes can also be cut into smaller pieces or use cluster lashes

Dip them into glue and wipe off the excess

Use tweezers to hold the lashes

Pull the top of your eyelid upwards so you can see underneath your eyelashes

#faithtip Wipe the glue on the part you are applying to then you can dip the lash in glue again before actually placing it underneath your lash

This make the lashes more firm and secure

Make sure it is not too close to your eye as this can be irritating

Fan your eyes if you can still feel wet glue

BACK TO BASE

Brush the setting powder away with a powder brush

You will need to make sure you do this properly because the powder won't move easily, because of how long it has sat there

Apply highlighter to the tip of your nose, your brow bone and your cupid's bow

Make sure to keep the highlight application light and smooth it out, so as to not look ashy and to keep the focus on your eyes and lips

Spray setting spray all over your face

LIPS

Use a brown lip liner, slightly darker than/ similar to your skin tone, to outline your lips

Apply pink lip gloss to your lips

Then top it all off with clear lip gloss.

OVERVIEW

This look is sleek, it's edgy and it's glamorous. The supermodel makeup look focuses on the eyes, while every other part of the face remains simple. This makeup is a part of my "Model Off Duty" style guide on @havefaithinyourbadtaste

BASE

Apply primer all over your face (including your eyelids) and work it into your skin

#faithtip Apply baby powder all over your face with a powder brush for a long-lasting oil-proof base

Apply tinted moisturiser or foundation to skin

Blend well with a damp beauty blender

#faithtip: dampen your beauty blender with setting spray for easier blending and a longer lasting matte base

Now, because the focus is on the eyeshadow and the lashes, apply a concealer that is only slightly lighter than your skin tone to not draw attention away from the smokey eye

Apply concealer to the inner corner of your under-eye

Place concealer to the end of your under-eyes and be sure to follow the natural shape of your eyes

Blend it in well with a beauty blender

Take a powder brush and some pressed powder and apply all over your face

Now, using a powder puff or a beauty blender, apply loose powder to your under eyes following your eye shape.

Place a line of loose powder under your cheeks

Let the loose powder sit whilst you focus on another part of your face

BROWS

For this look, dark brows are included but the brows will not be as dark as my other tutorials

Brush through your brows with brow gel and then use pomade and a brow brush to fill in small gaps

Place a bit of concealer on the arch of your brow and blend it in with a beauty blender

Then apply setting powder to the arch of your brow

EYESHADOW

Apply concealer to your eyelids (all over underneath your brows)

Blend with a beauty blender

Then apply loose powder to your eyelids and the transition area

Use a powder brush to apply pressed powder to your eyelids

Now, take a gel eyeliner and apply it to your eyelids

Make it look smoother by using an eyeshadow brush

Apply a medium brown coloured eyeshadow to your crease/transition area

Use an eyeshadow brush to work a dark brown eyeshadow into your crease/transition area

Now apply black eyeshadow on your eyelids and work it in with a brush

Go back with the dark brown to smooth out the colour in your crease/transition area

Use a black eye pencil to line the inner corner of your eyes

Then use the pencil on your bottom lash line and lightly smooth it out with an eyeshadow brush

LASHES

With Simstagram you can utilizes the Cell Phone to take selfies. There are two types of Selfies you can post on Simstagram. Selfies and Sexy Selfies. Sexy Selfies are selfies taken when a sim is wearing either swimwear or sleepwear. Meanwhile everything else is a normal selfie.

Note: When a Sim takes a selfie, data is stored into that photo. Their age group, The Cosmetic Surgery they have had done, and the outfit category that they are wearing. This data then helps determine the amount of subs and likes gained when that photo is posted. Other factors also determine the amount.

You can utilize a video camera to turn on the record button and perform a couple of activities while it's on to receive a recording.

If a Simstagram Model has reached any of the five tiers on Simstagram, they have a chance of receiving a Simstagram Message asking if they would like to do a Sponsorship post for a product.

If the Simstagram Model were to accept the offer. Then the product would be mailed to them, and the Model would be able to do a Sponsorship post for the product.

In this case we had accepted a Sponsorship opportunity for the Quencher Tumbler. You have the option to wait to receive the product and use it before posting the Sponsorship post or you can make the sponsorship post the moment you receive the Sponsorship opportunity. Massive thanks to @cozygirlsimmer for allowing me to use her adorable Cups for one of the few Sponsorship opportunities. I love them so much! So much so, that they were given functionality and a custom drinking animation.

A Sponsorship post will gain the Model Subs and Likes, however they may also earn Simoleans. The Model earns a base payout for the sponsorship, a Bonus payout for the Simstagram Tier they are in, and a commission for each sale that the Sponsorship post garners.

-Simstagram Fatigue Moodlet

If a sim were to post too often, they may receive a temporary moodlet called Simstagram Fatigue. While active, the sim would not be able to post on their Simstagram page until the moodlet expires.

-Add LinkTree Interaction

This interaction is available for Simstagram Models who have either an OnlySims page or a LlamaPay account.

By Adding a LinkTree to your Simstagram, you can potentially gain subs for your OnlySims and receive LlamaPay Donations from your Simstagram Subscribers.

In the next part of the report for August of 2024, we will begin discussing the fourth topic OnlySims... This part of the report may take a few days to release as it contains the most content since it is the main feature for the upcoming update.
