Comfort
Pairing: Benedict x GN wife/husband reader
Summary: Benedict doubts himself, you are there to lend some comfort.
Warnings: Mentions of feelings of worthlessness. Sad Benny.
“Maybe I should give it up, become a responsible man instead of one who flounces around contributing to nothing to society but bad art,” Benedict grumbled, head in hands crumpled in the middle of his studio in front of an unfinished canvas. “I’m worthless.”
You’d stuck your head around the door intending to coax your husband to bed but instead you found him muttering insults to himself. Benedict was always good at hiding his insecurities behind jokes and smiles. The joy of bringing joy to others temporarily easing the pain he felt inside. Sometimes he’d let you see his vulnerability, but seeing him face it alone wounded your soul. Naively you hoped that the times he confided in you were the only times he got into his head, it was heartbreaking to know that it wasn’t the case.
You slipped into the room, wrapping your arms around Benedict from behind. He startled slightly, before leaning into the comforting embrace.
“How much did you hear,” he whispered, wiping tears from his cheek.
“Enough, baby I hate that you feel this way” you muttered, bringing yourself in front of your husband and clutching his face in your hands. “I wish you saw yourself the way I do. You are so very talented, not to mention the loveliest, kindest person I know.” Stroking his cheek gently, you tried to guide him to look at you.
“I know it’s hard to believe me when you feel like this, but I hope you realise you are my inspiration. It takes amazing courage to follow your passions, and incredible talent to do well. It may not seem like it today but you are an amazing artist, and everybody who comes across you work thinks so too. You feel things so deeply and you are able to translate it into your work. You will use this doubt to make something spectacular, I just know it.”
Ben nodded gently, but the frown marring his handsome face didn’t change. “Surely you deserve someone better than I. Someone confident and secure.”
“Baby, you are the best person I know. I love you for all you are. You being vulnerable and emotional might seem like a flaw, but I ensure you I do not see it as such. Knowing how you feel and knowing I can talk to you if I ever feel the same is the greatest gift you can give me. Please don’t think you should ever hide yourself from me.” You swiped another tear from his cheek with your thumb before placing sweet kisses across his face. “I love you so very much,”
“I love you too,” he whispered, a gentle smile finally gracing his face.
This is for all my fellow depressed bisexuals, especially you Benedict!
You are all amazing x

How did you first get into Encanto?
Hello anon!
The first time I watched Encanto was while I was living in a friend's basement. I had been having a string of bad luck where I lost my condo and my car. Thanks to friends and family, I didn't end up homeless (they will join me in lifting a big middle finger to that condo company). So, I was trying my best to stay out of the way while I borrowed couches for a bit and ended up in that friend's basement bedroom.
I immediately felt a connection with Bruno. While his are more exaggerated than my own, we have a lot of mannerisms and difficulties in common. So he became my favourite character. Most of my fanfiction is Bruno-centric :)
During the second watch-through, the connection to all of the characters, especially Bruno in his situation, only solidified. So my hyper-fixation shifted to Encanto and I started writing fanfiction for it. I adjusted my Tumblr account to Encanto appreciation (and other stuff I like) and shared my ao3 stories on there. My first stories were mostly just short, silly and having fun with putting characters in situations as one does. Breakfast is Ready! was the first story I put on ao3. I believe Reading Glasses was the one that first got popular with the Bruno pancita enjoyers, and might have (along with a shared birthday) prompted the first friendship that produced a collab. A lot of people want to see Bruno healthy and loved after his ordeal. Anyone who's spent at least a few months without human contact knows how hard it is to deal with being so alone (even if they enjoy being alone, too long isn't good for anyone).
A few people that liked my stories started talking to me and invited me into their communities. I took part in some secret Santa gift exchanges, had an amazing experience doing the EBB event (Madremonte's Garden and the Wakos' Cave) with a friend, WDTAJN event, and kept writing, eventually finishing my first chaptered story, Defeating expectation and other extraordinary acts.
I can tell my writing has improved, and I've made a lot of friends in the Encanto fandom. This is the first fandom that I've gotten so involved in, and it's been a lot of fun.
The characters are so interesting! There's so much we can do with them, and their story is far from done being told. So many unanswered questions about their lives and what they're like, who they are, etc, can be explored because the movie only covers a short moment of their lives, and an impactful short moment at that. I think that inspires a lot of people to fill in those blanks that are begging to be filled with art and stories, and that's why I really fell into this fandom as well.
So, anon, I got into Encanto because the characters are interesting and resonated with me, the people have been wonderful, and the Madrigals' story has been left largely unfinished, leaving a lot of room to play around with the characters. Through this wonderful movie, I've made some good friends and I'm still having fun creating things in this fandom to share with whoever might enjoy them.
Thanks for the ask, anon! 💚😁💚
My ask box is always open, come drop something into it sometime. 💚

Completion of Colors
Rook comes back from Ramshackle with a strange black portrait with a pale girl(?) drawn inside. And lo and behold, it's alive.
◇◇◇
┊Loosely inspired from the game Death Palette, Fluff?, Yuu can be you I guess, Yuu is a painter, UiO is not a puppet but a painting instead, Rook has some few loose screws, I mean who's normal?
┊ OCs as of now: UiO, Jiyoon (mentioned)
┊A/N: Happy Birthday Black/UiO, I'm sorry I took so long, I hope you like my gift for you :) also thanks to @kiranarina for helping me with this, you're the best bud
┊1.6k words
◇◇◇
Rook was ecstatically rummaging through one of the rooms of the Ramshackle, one could say an art gallery. Full of arts that the prefect has hidden away.
Of course he asked permission to look through the room!
It was a begrudging decision seeing Rook did not take no for an answer.
{"Though there's just that one painting that I can't find a way to finish I wish to give it colors to make it more lively but I seem to can't do it... Do you think Jiyoon could finish it?"
"Though I'm unsure if she'll accept the work of portrait, I'll see what I can do for my underclassman!"}
The reason how he found out that the prefect could draw was during the visit in SDC. A lot of unfinished arts were lying on the ground as if the prefect rushed to finish it all up.
Each of them were either portraits or landscapes, including the Night Raven College.
The talent of the prefect was something to be applauded. He could even be on par to his fellow underclassman who is dedicated to drawing landscapes! (Although she seems to be actively avoiding drawing portraits)
While Epel was curious, Vil was unamused how messy it was but Rook paid no mind, there was a hidden beauty the prefect was hiding! The anatomy study, the rough sketch that captures the nature beauty, how could he not fall in love in such arts that are so lovely?
And that is why, right now, Rook is rummaging through the prefects art room, to find more art worthy of bringing in Pomefiore as a souvenir. For them (him) to admire and praise.
Everything was drawn with full care, each stroke held elegance. It was such a hard decision to pick considering Vil could only allow one piece to be brought back. Should he bring one of the portraits that the prefect had drawn for Vil? Though there was a one canvas covered under a cloth, placed up the art stool that makes him compelled to see. The other canvases were scattered around the room, but the one placed the stool seems to be something important, better yet different?
He feels an energy coming from the canvas. Intriguing! He lets his curiosity deep, peeping through the the cloth.
Is this what the prefect mentioned?
What would be the beautiful art? Would it be an animal? A landscape? Or a portrait?
All the possibilities were running through his mind, making him more giddy than ever before.
But once the cloth was taken, what surprises him was how black the canvas is! His expectations made him feel bad.
Why was it black? Was it unfinished? Was it natural or abandoned?
If so... Just what did the prefect had to go through to erase their art, their masterpiece? Guessing that there was once an art portrayed but is now erased with black paint. It's not everyday you see a blank canvas. So that's why he wanted to give it to Jiyoon.
"Ou, what a sad sight!" Rook gestures. He was excited for nothing, he guessed he better look around to get a piece that everyone would take a liking.
"Ugh." A grumble of voice was noticed by the hunter. Where was it coming from? There is no human here apart from the prefect that is on the living room with his partner. Who is this person that can absolutely hide from him? His hunter instincts was excited, his senses heightened, all in while he looks around for the voice—rustles anything that makes a noise.
"Yes yes, you can say that again. Welcome painter, you're finally back. Did you have fun with your friends that you started to forget about--" An exasperated voice echoes in ire.
His eyes widened.
A girl appeared in the black canvas. The painting in front of him, it was moving, alive and breathing. With monotone colors and an eye-catching blue, her hair was a mess at the same time befitting. The moment the girl in the painting noticed something was off, widens her eyes inspecting Rook in every aspect she could find.
"Me... Who are you?" She questioned. She eyed him cautiously, "You're not the painter."
It's a live painting! How did the magicless prefect make this? Maybe the prefect has a magic for the creation they make!
"Noo... I was starting to like that painter... How did they die!? No! I haven't even done anything to them yet! They were doing a good job too..."
Snapping out of his thoughts, Rook blinked owlishly then shook his head. "Non! Why would Monsieur Trickster die?!"
"Oh... Really? The overblot thing did not get them? Hm, Good.." The girl seemed relief as she smiles sweetly.
Rook blankly stares at the girl in the painting. "Why do you need Monsieur Trickster?" At his words, the girl pouts.
"A painters job is to finish a piece. Look at me, do I look finish to your eyes?" The girl in the painting spoke, clearly annoyed as she points to herself.
Rook smiles. "Oui! Even in the gray and dull color, you're quite eye catching despite having to no color. But having an attractive blue to your palette, enhance your beauty more dame dans le portrait!" Rook happily chirps as he dramatically gestures his hands and winks.
The girl stares at him aghast having no words said. "..."
Like a fish out of water, her mouth kept opening and closing.
"Huh... Uh. Oh, I- wow." The girl was loss for words, stammering, wincing away from Rook who watches her reaction amused. "It seems like I have a poet as a visitor..."
She sneers, looking disgusted as she averts her eyes away from Rook. He looked dejected but it seems the girl was not having any of it.
"Do you not like my praise of you? Do you want more--" "No! NO!! SHUT UP! I HAVE NO NEED FOR YOUR PRAISES! THANK YOU!" The girl in the painting frantically hushed him. With wide eyes and a deep frown, she glares at Rook who only smiles back.
"Sigh, anyway, who are you? It's not everyday someone is not surprised to see a talking painting. Though I think the painters reaction is better than yours..." The girl in the painting remarks while continuing to examine Rook throughoutly.
"Well petite dame," Rooks smile gradually widens as he bows to the painting, tipping his hat over his chest. "Let us begin over our introduction."
"Bonjour, dame dans le portrait. I am Rook Hunt but you can call me Le chasseur d'amour, I hope to see more of your beaute once you're finished." His eyes glisten the more he examines her.
The girl in the paintings eyes narrowed.
"...I was not created in France to talk in French." She mutters in a weary voice. She ignores Rooks curious stare, holding her forehead with her pale arm before straightening her back in a not-so-delighted manner.
"I am UiO, you can refer to me like anything you want." She bows haggardly, forcing a smile to appear to hide her displeasure. But no detail was spared from the hunters eyes.
As the more Rook inspects the girl in the painting, he wonders how can a painting have such deliberate movements? Unlike the paintings scattered around the school, they could only move in a specific set, but her?
It seems like whatever magic the prefect has for creation, their creation can move as if it was a living being in the first place! But how could they not finish such piece and give it away to Reine des Arts? "How did Monsieur Trickster create you? Their talent is no joke but making a living portrait despite being magicless is manifique!" Rook happily cheers while the girl-- UiO blinks owlishly. His words clicks in her mind before her face fell disgruntled.
"Excuse me? What? Who? That painter? Haha, no, no way." A disbelieved look scrutinized Rook, who in back stared at the girl confused.
He tilts his head. "...Did they not?"
"Of course they didn't!" She complained in such a straight forward way, she did not notice the door creak slightly. She huffs arrogantly, crossing her arms before her shoulders loosened up.
"Though I quite say, my present painter has some fiery determination. They're quite adamant in finishing me, so I guess I'll place my trust in them." She says in a nonchalant behavior before smiling widely in a grin.
"I like them, they're interesting. Talented and beautiful."
'It seems the prefect is truly magicless.' Rook muses. Despite having to no identification to see if the girl was truthful, Rook was sure it was coming from her heart. (if she ever have one)
'But as Monsieur Trickster say... They seem to can't find a way to give her color?'
"Hmm~" He hums playfully with a grin, sending shivers to the girl. She backs away in worry and confusion seeing him with the expression. "Say petite dame, can I take you?"
"Hah?" She raised a brow confused. "Are you a painter? Or a collector?"
"Oui! I am a beauty appreciator! and Non, I'm not a painter, but I have an underclassman who can paint really well, she's worthy of praise!"
That seems to excite UiO when she leaned up close. Her eyes sparkles as if asking for more information but Rook only left it at that and smiles with closed eyes. She wince noticing her behavior before standing back straight.
"But... "
"So... Rook-senpai, you're taking her?" The door creaks revealing the prefect of the Ramshackle who stood by the door. UiO tilt back her head questioning what they meant.
"I'm sure Roi du Poison won't mind and I'm certain Reine des Arts will find a way to finish dame dans le portrait."
"...eh?"
The prefect only smiles with undertone sadness that made the girls smile fall.
"..." She pursed her lips turning away from the two hiding her contorted expression. "I knew you wouldn't be able to finish me."
The prefect flinched. Biting their lips, before looking away.
"...I'm sorry." Rook only watched in the sidelines with a mixture of pity for the prefect.
Ah, what a bitter way to part ways.
◇◇◇
┊I admit, I don't think I can finish it anymore lol, Maybe I'll just draw snippets because that seems easier (famous last words before disaster)

Never Have I Ever
This is a short story collection I got as a gift quite awhile ago, and as one might expect it took forever for me to work it into my reading list because I’m just like this and I have 86 things I always want to read.
Anyway, very glad this wasn’t a commissioned read, as I apparently have managed to lose the book somewhere between my room and pool deck, which is admittedly pretty impressive, even for me. I’m hoping it’s just under something back in the room.
SO! Non-spoilery: This is a Filipino-American paranormal collection of stories, that leans heavily on the knowledge of FIlipino culture and creature. Like all short story collections, it’s definitely patchy, but comes in with some really beautiful stuff here and there. Yap seems to struggle a little bit with endings occasionally.
SPOILERY:
So I can’t actually decide if I liked this or not. Yes? But also no. I saw the pull quote from Tamsyn Muir on the cover and was like, ‘Oh great, when it came down to it, I did not like Gideon the Ninth. Fantastic” BUt there was a lot lot lot more for me in this book than Gideon.
I CAN tell you that I wish I hadn’t been reading it poolside, because I don’t have a lot of exposure to Filipino culture and go I had to google a LOT for this collection, which I absolutely do not mind doing, I like to learn, but while I’m trying to relax in the hot spring, having to google a bunch of stuff to try and grasp the context of what’s going When I say this book requires a solid footing in Filipino culture, I mean, there are entire lines of dialogue, untranslated, in Filipino.
It is patchy--A Spell for Foolish Hearts, for example, feels TOTALLY out of place in the collection, which is mostly darker in tone and subject, and then...we have a fluffy gay boy story in San Francisco. The story itself, while not being to my taste, isn’t BAD, just a bit saccharine--okay, a LOT bit saccharine, and it turns out he’s dating the mist of San Francisco and there’s a funky sitcom mixup that leads to a romcom style breakup and gag gag lots of you would LOVE this but it just ain’t for me-- but it feels like a friggin pothole in the interruption of the flow of the collection. The first story, which I can’t remember the name of, was, for me, very “yeah, yeah, the monstrous feminine, we’ve all seen it” and while it’s not terrible, I suppose, it doesn’t break any ground. Many of her stories end hanging, which is fine, but they feel unfinished in a way. There’s not a lot of great drop lines. Sometimes I think Yap gets real tangled up in THE MESSAGE I AM CONVEYING and it takes away from her truly good handle when she allows things to get creepy.
Now, to stories I loved:
Have you Heard the one about Anamaria Marquez?: This was a great story that really played into gossip and what it is to be remembered, with a fairly light touch of possession and belief. I loved the way the rumors about Anamaria’s ghost wavered from wildly ridiculous to plausible, in keeping with the ways that all high schools have a ghost and that ghost always has a tragic story.
Asphalt, River, Mother, Child: This was maybe my favorite story in the whole thing, despite the fact that if someone accused it of being heavy-handed, I wouldn’t disagree. My friend actually said this story reminded her of my writing, which I found insanely flattering. Its about corruption and death and innocence and best intentions, and the exhaustion of compassion, how you can help so little, even if you are a goddess of sorts, but that small but still means something.
Hurricane Heels: This is a grown up magical girl story! I could have written a variation on this idea, I fucking love it. I don’t even know that I think it’s the most artful story in the collection, but this was the story that made my friend decide to give this to me, and you know what? She’s right.
How to Swallow the Moon: You see literally every beat of this story coming, if you’ve been around the block once or twice, but it kind of doesn’t matter. The only thing I don’t like about this story is that it’s written in second person, which is not the first time Yap does that. I don’t know if it’s to prove that she can, but there’s nothing about this story that fucking requires it to be in the second person. But, otherwise, it’s a beautiful and lyrical take on the whole ‘princess and handmaid’ type story trope, which really flattens how good I genuinely think the story is. The description in this story is as good as Yap ever gets in the whole collection, and I actually suppose if I had any other mild criticism of this story, which is once again a criticism of the collection itself, is, this story doesn’t fit. I actually think this would go better in a different collection, maybe one with Spell for Foolish Hearts, actually. I think many of y’all would love this one--nicely written stock fantasy beats, gay, happyish ending but not cloying.
So, yeah, there we are! I guess I would say I DID like it, in general

He totally nailed it. And I love how Duck-Silvani disses Duck-Sparrows writing skills. These two panels seem for me like a classical freudian slip.🧐
You are definitely closer to being a furry than me. (I chuckled at Rae-chu.) XD The only sona I've had made for fun is my Trollsona from Homestuck. (The grey thing which sits left on my blog design.) But when I was still cosplaying a furry friend called me something which in German terminology basically is close to being a furry adjacent. But more like in an ally way.
And like I said, rule 34 exists for a reason. I've sadly seen things I wish I could forget. But I still can see why furries got a bad reputation tho. The so called murrsuits and stories revolving around them is..something else. 👀 Ofc not every furry is like that and I'm sure it's just a bad minority which gets the attention. I for my part can tell stories how a few bad apples ruined a lot of stuff for other cosplayers here in my country. Being in the Homestuck fandom was also wild because of a few idiots who coulnd't behave.
Oh, and don't get me wrong. I don't think Silvani is a bad artist. But the thing is he is far from perfect (which is totally okay because he is only human) but Sparrow praises his art like it's the best ever. Sparrow totally worships his friends art without a second thought, which is also not a bad thing per se, but using it to diss other artists will create backlash. And so he unwillingly drags Silvani in the shit show. I overall don't like how Silvani draws the F4. But Quackerjack is definitely the worst. The bulkiness is just too much. I also have the feeling this is just a bad doppleganger who hid the real QJ somewhere. The fact that Silvani even gave his version gloves, while QJ canonically doesn't wear some makes that feeling worse. Like...has the doppleganger to hide his fingerprints so his bluff won't get blown up?
And to Sparrow it apparently matters that people like to ship Quackervolt in any way possible. XD Which is sad and funny. Like, why do you care so much about if some people want them smooching like an old married couple? They already act like an old married couple ffs.
And I understand that you try to keep your acc clean, which is great and not easy tho. That's why I self-flagged mine as mature acc. There isn't really much spicy things you'll find on here and kids can google worse stuff, but I know not everyone wants to see or read sexual innuendos. There is only one fanart page (which is clearly for adults) where you can find the unfinished and uncensored version.
Sparrow also seems to forget that not everyone draws and look at spicy things to jerk off. (That's probably more a male thing, I dunno.) He gives me vibes that he projects from himself on others a bit too much.
In my case I just wanted to see if I can draw an intimate situation which is cozy, full of trust and love, and in my opinion I succeeded. I always had trouble drawing two figures interacting with each other so this definitely was a challenge.
Also Sparrow writing about how he wants to buy some of the 2011 comics just to gift it away..well..it actually seems weird to me.
I can't imagine he makes enough money to actually be able to buy a bulk of those expensive comics which are considered a collectible nowadays. And why gift them kids in a hospital? I don't think the majority of kids nowaydays would appreciate or handle them well. He would make the comics even more rare and expensive as they already are and thus hurting the fandom more than doing good.
The idea overall is honorable, but why not getting the kids other comics..like the ones who get published right now and are not as valuable? Oh wait..he didn't write them and can flaunt his "writing skills" then. 🙃 For me it just seems like empty words he won't follow through. A way to signal he isn't such a bad guy after all if he wants to gift sick kids expensive comics.
If he actually does it, and can prove it (because you can literally write everything on the internet) I can respect that and kudos to him, but this won't cancel all the awful stuff he said.
The funniest thing, really, is that I technically could just appeal to Twitter to get me unbanned from Sparrow's page, because I haven't even done anything to warrant the ban other than the screens I showed y'all, and that's not even that bad. I haven't harassed him, I haven't threatened him, all I said was essentially "I wasn't a fan of how QuackerJack was written here."
I could bring that debate to Twitter and probably get unbanned if I actually cared to, lol.
He really didn't win anything. That's the same as yanking the cord out of the game console because someone was doing better than you at Mario Party.
That's honestly kinda sad, ngl.
Anyway, guys, don't bother him, he's not worth the time

Okay I've gotten up the nerve to post my Sun&Moon/Reader drabbles I've been planning! Bare with me cuz it's a bumpy ride though my brain:
Visiting Artist!AU or You're 'Kiln'ing Me Here and Other Bad Pottery Puns for Your Jester Friends
So basically this story would revolve around Reader coming in as a Visiting artist to teach kids at the Daycare and the parents <to an extent> about artists in the nearby area. It'd be after the events of FNAF with the Freed Princess ending so the building isn't burt down/destroyed. With Fazbear trying once again to try and smooth over any bumps with the public, corporate decides the best way to do this is by becoming more community involved by inviting guest artists, musicians, dancers, and community groups to come in and work with kids. It's totally a cash grab as well as Corp is paying the artists tons to make merch or promote their deal with Fazbear Ent. and get more groups in. It works really well with a bit of a caviot. That's we're Reader comes in; a small business owner who specializes in pottery and sculpture [totally not projecting XD] and is on a year long waitlist to even get considered for the position. They're not super hopeful but they could use with the good business promotions and the cash doesn't hurt as they'd like to branch out more. However, suddenly a bunch of groups drop out either early or all together leaving the wait from a few months to a few weeks! In their excitement, they don't question the drops and sign up immediately getting lesson plans, extra materials, and even little aprons for kids of all ages and walks of life with the money Fazbear paid in advance. Shame they didn't read that new clause in their contract that by accepting the cash they kinda have to do the whole gig to its full completion....for 5 whole months. But who cares about that; new job, potentially a great broadcasting of their skills, and working with kids: Dream come True! So a few weeks later they're standing outside the Pizzaplex, all smiles and excitement. They meet the new and improved Glamrocks, including one surly kid who hangs around Freddy like thats his dad, the strange blonde security guard who claims is her kid, and the larger than life DJ after getting slightly lost. When you finally arrive to your new studio and teaching area you're absolutely amazed by the charitable space <one of the largest party rooms that'll fit your tables, the temporary vinyl floor to keep the carpets clean, and even shelf space for kids to put unfinished projects> and even more by the 7 foot tall "helper" in the form of a bouncy and excitable animatronic named Sun. He seems more than happy to be apart of this project though he bemoans that nobody stays long. Asking about it gets you no answers just nervous looks, and deflections but that's okay! After all you're here to make friends and teach art...shame there's a mystery that drags you into the struggles of your new animatronic friend and his mysterious 'bro'ther-half. Good thing you've got a few months to get to know them both. Yeah, you really should have read that contract.
The second AU is a Gods!AU or "In the Shadows of the Forest"
This AU revolves around a small village on the outskirts of a large city in ancient times. Magic is a vehicle for life's convenience and is gifted to very few, but those with the strongest magics can talk to the Gods themselves. In your village you live in what used to be known as the Valley of the Sun and Moon, because legend was that half of the surrounding forest always seemed to be shining with light while the other was shrouded in darkness. Your grandparents used to claim that the forest would glow a beautiful gold when twilight or first light would be on the horizon to symbolize the bond of the brothers. However recently the good will of the Gods seems to have dried up and the phenomenon was not as prominent today, due to rumors of a corruption spreading though the magic itself at the hands of a dark Sorcerer and his followers. It has faded the powers of those who use magic in your village and decended nightmares to the people...even worse were the mysterious vanishing of several of your village and the neighboring city's children. You attempt to find out what's happening only for you to find yourself pursued at knife point by a follower of this dark Sorcerer before you take refuge in an old temple deep within the forest. While you're hiding a mysterious person helps you escape the danger, but you soon find yourself wisked away to another plane entirely one that only fae and the supernatural can traverse to and come face to face with the Sun The God of Light and Joyous Laughter and his brother, Moon, the God of Night and Peaceful Dreams...though there's something sinister in the works as you try to help these Gods save their magic and their fellow Gods from the clutches of a monster abusing the magic they weird. (This fic has all of the Fazbear cast as Gods; Freddy as the God of Wayway Stars and Righteous Justice, Chica as Goddess of Agriculture and Fine Feasts, Roxanne as Goddess of Speed and Beatific Beauty, Bonnie as God of Protective Charms and Valiant Spirit, Monty as God of Second Chances and Radiant Strength, and DJ Music Man as God of Storied Musicians and Watcher of the Portals to the Worlds. Gregory is Freddy's guardian as much as Freddy is Gregory's and Vanny/Vanessa are the unwilling followers of the dark Sorcerer, William, who is an Undead ass in all universes...)
#fnaf au#au idea#dunno if ill ever write them#but i would totally do art of these#may have to wait until tomorrow for sure#fnaf daycare attendant#fnaf sun#fnaf moon#sun x reader#moon x reader#sun is a big part of all these stories#he just wants his brother to be okay#Moon is always a gremlin#but he wants to be a good boy not hurt those hes supposed to protect#djmm is like their best friend#he says hi and stops by a lot

He’s very sweet and considerate, but a little reserved. So while he’ll show you affection, like kissing, hugging, and hand holding, he isn’t the kind to go overboard like most significant others. He makes up for it by preparing little gifts for you from time to time, or doing you favors without you asking him to. Anything that would make your life more convenient, he’ll try his best to make it happen. Helping you do adult things is his love language.
The dates you go on with him are nothing out of the ordinary. He’ll take you to the movies, cinemas, the park, an aquarium, or the zoo. Pretty typical, but enjoyable nonetheless. It’s all about the company. And while you’re out in public with him, he won’t do PDA. Instead, he’ll just hold your hand or hug you. He’s very wholesome and easily flustered! If you kiss him in front of other people, he’ll blush like hell, even if it’s on the cheek. Better snap a picture to savor that moment, reader.
He’s very protective, but it’s never suffocating. Before you go anywhere or do anything, he’ll put himself in your shoes and wonder about any problems you might come up with, and will give you advice to deal with it. If he can, he’ll accompany you to wherever you need to go. You always say he’s too kind, or even a little clingy for it, but you always put it on an affectionate note.
Tolys is more of a giver than a taker. Despite being a workaholic and a pretty bad stresser, he will go out of his way to help you with your problems. It’s how he shows he loves you. So on top of all of his own responsibilities, he will do all the cooking and cleaning. Run errands. Book appointments. You always insist he doesn’t have to, but he never seems to listen. Even if it’s exhausting, he’ll feel bad if he stops doing it—ironically, he will feel at loss if he doesn’t do these things. He really wants to be relied upon so you can share your burdens with him.
He is an introverted soul and closed off. Especially when the relationship is new, he won’t tell you his problems until he knows you well enough to trust you. Even in the present, he’ll have trouble opening up because he avoids conflict like the plague. So it’s up to you to be observant to coax him to have “the talk” with you. He’ll be quite nervous when it happens considering it glosses over every aspect of the relationship, but he’ll be glad you made him do it. When it comes to choosing whether to speak or die, he would choose die immediately.
He needs de-stress sessions. Eventually, juggling work and home-life will get to him, especially when he keeps insisting on doing most of the domestic chores. He’ll want you to calm him down, and it’s no easy task. If you don’t put a cap to his worrying, he will get a stomachache! So before that happens, you get him to laze around in bed with you. Even then, he might linger on any unfinished tasks, but you adamantly shush him, and tell him you’ll help him through it. If you keep combing your fingers through his hair, whisper at him softly, and kiss him, he will be soothed. If he’s tired enough, he will fall asleep.
Tolys loves innocent physical contact. While he’s reading or watching something, you’ll braid his hair. And he’ll keep it up until he has to go to sleep. When you kiss him, he’ll press his forehead to yours for a few moments to savor the moment. If you’re standing around him at the end of the day, he’ll give you a massage and will cutely ask you to give him one too.
He’s a huge geek for martial arts but never actually... Learns it. You’ll find him watching Jackie Chan movies, IP man or videos of people fucking shit up. If he thinks he’s alone, he’ll practise some moves in his room. Since that’s all he ever does with this interest, he’ll get a little embarrassed when he realizes you happened to see! Oops. But that’s okay! He can be cool by showing off his sick basketball skills. (He ties his hair up for it too.) You’ll play with him every so often, and he gets really into it—his playful side jumps out and he’ll toy with you by keeping the ball to himself. It’s quite endearing to see him enjoying something he’s good at.
He is on the cusp of having an anxious-preoccupied attachment style. He sometimes worries a lot over the little things he does that you might not like. Being the introverted giver, he will avoid his own problems and focus on you. If he fixates on himself, he will start overthinking that he’s selfish, and will assume you think he’s being selfish. He’s the type to gaslight himself and invalidate his own concerns, but you always keep him grounded and remind him every feeling he has is perfectly valid, and worth mentioning.
Advancing the relationship is also something he worries about. Is he going too slow? Or what if he’s going to quick? He doesn’t mind taking things to the next level, but he’ll let you do more of the initiating. He reciprocates every time, so you don’t have trouble starting things. Even though he isn’t what people would call bold, with you, he’s willing to do anything.
This was super fun to write. So thanks for the ask! I think I’ve developed a soft spot for him 🥴 Lithuania with tied hair supremacy 🛐🛐🛐

Hey man I wanted to ask, i am beginner artist and I feel kinda discouraged because i have a smaller acc than I lot of artists, how do you feel like encouraged to draw more stuff about your fandom?(i really love your art and is so inspiring!)
thank u!! first of all, it's awesome that you've decided to start putting yourself out there!! i think motivation can be one of the hardest things to deal with when it comes to making art, & sometimes it feels like u either have it or u don't. but i think it's definitely possible to improve in some ways!
i think the most important rule of trying to motivate urself is, when motivation/inspiration hits you, DON’T WASTE IT. if you think to yourself, “hmm, it would be fun to draw right now… but it would be easier to keep scrolling on my phone” do your best to actually go draw!! i’m not gonna tell u to skip, like, ur homework for art (although i totally do that) bcz u should do ur homework. but when the urge hits u, don’t let it go!! u gotta ride that wave as far as it’ll take you.
obviously sometimes motivation will hit you at times when you’re in a situation where you totally can’t sit down and draw. like it’s 3am and you really should’ve been sleeping 5 hours ago, but u just got a super cool idea for a drawing or a comic or something. if that happens, i’m not saying to actually sit down & draw right then, but you absolutely should write your idea down while the idea is still fresh!! it’s easy to forget small things or even the whole idea if you wait for later. plus, when you revisit what you've written down, you might find yourself having ideas of how you could make it even better.
one thing that’s kind of unfortunate about making art is that, yeah, external motivation is a big part of motivating yourself to make art (at least it is for me). BUT you definitely don’t need to have thousands of followers to get nice feedback on your art. i mean, you could just show it to an irl friend who likes the show/book/etc that you’re drawing for too. hell, you could show it to ur mom
but to put yourself out there online, uhh my advice is to
make art that’s interesting in some way. (character interactions are often more interesting to ppl than solo character art, for one; uhh, comics are super super super fun although i personally felt intimidated by them at first; in general, trying to give ur audience some kind of emotional response to ur art--whether it's "aw so cute" or funny or angsty--is good.)
participate in fandom events (like ship weeks, big bangs, etc). at the very least, ur art gets reblogged to a bigger blog that can get you some exposure. and you might make some friends!
try to connect w/ other content creators—go compliment cool art! send nice asks! make gift art for fanfics u really like!
look for some fandom discords with nice ppl
post ur stuff on multiple social medias
i personally spent like 3 years on tumblr just kinda tossing my art into the void before i actually started gaining a significant amount of followers lol so i’m not exactly a social media guru but i think those are some good places to start.
also, NEVER BE DISCOURAGED BY UR OWN ART!!!!! sometimes it happens when you'll look at ur art and be like "holy bejeezus i suck at art" and like, it's inevitable that it happens occasionally, but u gotta avoid that as much as u possibly can. practice positive self-talk--be like "aw fuck yeah i love how i drew that hair" or smth to yourself. bad self-esteem will kill your motivation & your fun.
(it's worth keeping in mind that oftentimes, if u feel like ur art is "getting worse," that's literally just your eye for art developing and learning to recognize flaws that you're about to fix--a good sign, not a bad one. your hands will catch up to your eyes in time.)
oh and DONT be afraid of posting little sketches or unfinished doodles that arent that fancy...... thats something i struggle with lol i always feel like "if my art isnt perfectly cleaned up and shaded then whats the point :(" but whenever i see someone else's cute little sketch on my dash im always like omg thats so cool. doing this is also good because if you don't feel obligated to put tons and tons of effort into each piece, you'll have an easier time creating lots of art which ultimately helps u improve way faster
lastly i uhhh really strongly recommend against doing that thing that some beginner artists do where you're feeling insecure about your art and, in anticipation that people will hate it, you say something like "haha yeah i know it sucks" in the caption/tags to sort of insulate yourself from criticism. cuz like, most ppl are not little loser bitches who go around insulting random ppl's art, and besides if you do encounter people like that, u can just block em. more importantly, a lot of people do find such captions kind of off-putting/guilt-trippy, so it's bad for growing ur audience, and it's also harmful to you as well, because you're verbalizing your insecurities (& thus intensifying them). just own it. you don't need to apologize for "imperfect" art. it happens, & it's totally okay.

I’m sad and don’t want to think about the spn finale so here’s some TFW Holiday Head Canons because why not.
Jack probably absolutely adores the holidays. They probably have a little Christmas tree in their room just for him and a little fairly large collection of holiday themed jumpers (literally any holiday because they know all religions are real and he respects that)
Dean doesn’t like to admit it but he loves Christmas music and ugly Christmas sweaters
Sam and Dean have their own little holiday traditions from when they were raising themselves that they still honor every single year and always have Cas and jack to join in (because family :))
Cas likes to take Jack out for little holiday activities like ice skating
Sam, Eileen, and Jack bake cookies while Cas and Dean try out new coffee flavors and new pie recipes to see what would be best for Christmas Day
Jack, Eileen, and Cas decorate the entire bunker by themselves because Dean tried to help but kept messing things up so Cas sent Sam to distract Dean with a hunt or whatever as to not make him feel bad
But ofc they all decorate the tree together (it’s Jack’s favorite part of decorating)
Jack makes ornaments to put on the tree and sometimes they’ll personalize them for the others because he loves them so much
Jack likes taking pictures for mementos. They probably make Christmas cards with them and Dean absolutely adores them and keeps them all in a drawer at his desk
Jack and Dean do little arts and crafts activities together. Dean would never do it for anyone else but it’s become somewhat of a tradition for them so he can’t not do it now
Cas and dean cuddle up and watch old Christmas movies (or just any movie Dean wanted to watch) and Dean sometimes falls asleep with his head in Castiel’s lap only for Sam to find them the next morning all intertwined in front of the tv
Sam and Eileen cook the official meal for Christmas (because they’re the only ones who wouldn’t burn the bunker to the ground) (but ofc they let jack help)
Dean and Cas board game dates of course!! (My favorite head canon)
Eileen and Cas end up going out shopping for the others while Jack drags Sam and Dean off to a movie theater for some quality family time
Eileen and Castiel getting home before them and getting drunk off of eggnog and playing card games and wrapping gifts while laughing their asses off and being best friends :)
Sam, Dean, and Jack getting home to find Eileen and Cas knocked out in the library in front of an unfinished game of scrabble with far too many misspelled words
Jack gives everyone homemade gifts every year because “it comes from the heart” and “it’s the thought that counts” and “I didn’t have any money”
Some years for Christmas Kaia and Claire stop by the bunker and stay a while.
Jack, Claire, and Kaia are inseparable and an adorable combination
Claire likes to poke fun at Jack and Kaia always gets defensive of them but at the end of the day they both love him
The boys never tell Jack that Santa isn’t real. None of them want to break it to him so they hope that one day they’ll just kind of figure it out
Also Dean absolutely got Miracle the dog a stocking to hang up with everyone else’s
Feel free to add some of your own I just can’t stop thinking about these :)

Brothers with an Artistic Poly!Mc
Maybe not one of my best ideas, but that's not saying much lmao. Anyways, artistic is implied to be painting/drawing, but most things can fit here. Well, as long as you can hang it on a wall.
Lucifer
He likes when his s/o has a skill, craft, and/or hobby. It makes him feel very proud, and he'll often subtly boast about your accomplishments.
He'll love it even more if you can work quietly.
(As I've said before, Lucifer wants to spend all the time he can with you, and would like to work besides you. However, he needs silence to do this.)
Hangs some of your work around the house. No one really complains. Afterall, if he hadn't done it, someone else would.
(Most likely Belphie or Satan.)
Probably acts like an art critic
Don't be too upset if he insults you. It's an accident. He's really trying his best to be constructive.
Mammon
Hoarder of art work.
Sometimes just steals unfinished pieces so no one else can have them.
They're all stored in his room, hung on the walls, ext. He acts like you gave them to him.
Likes to watch you work. It's very soothing.
If you do things like acrylic pours (anything fairly messy), he's trying his best to get his hands in on the action. Mammon is never satisfied with his work though.
Really enjoys bright colors paired with deep blacks.
Leviathan
UwU
Amazing, wonderful, brilliant.
But really, he loves everything you make, not matter how out of the box it may be.
The fact that you actually have a real world skill so commonly used as a trope in anime/video games? It just seems too good to be true.
Probably asks how you got so good.
Might be a bit annoying about it too, but he really just wants to know more about your art.
He treasures anything you give him. Where Mammon will attempt to display, Leviathan will make a mini personal showcase.
Satan
Not the best person to give decorative things to.
(He can't really display them due to his messy room, which is why he's taken to using the library. It looks bad. We all know that he's bad at fashion, but man, that design failure bleeds into his home decor too.)
Prefers cool toned pieces. Also tends to gravitate towards ugly prints.
The best brother to talk about art with. He reads everything, so it's not crazy to assume he'd read up on your favorite pieces.
Please don't get too creative in his room though! There's too many expensive artifacts.
Asmodeus
Very enthusiastic in general, but overly so when you make something specifically for him.
Likes to get creative alongside you! Whether that be by painting his nails or bedazzling his phone case, he likes to be there.
Isn't afraid to be a little mean when he really doesn't like the look of something.
Frames/displays your gifts in the most elegant way.
Beelzebub
He's just in awe.
You did that?
Likes to watch you whilst he snacks.
He'll talk to you during this too. Sometimes he'll talk about his day, he might even speak about his siblings, but he tends to ask you questions more often than not.
Shows a lot of interest in the artistic process, but never really gets into it himself. He says this is because he's too hungry to focus on anything, but deep down he just doesn't believe he can.
But if you want to do something artsy with him, he'll join!
Might spill something on your work. Please be careful!
Belphegor
Bored
Unlike his twin, he shows little interest. But he'll sleep at your side.
Probably complains about the mess you make lmao.
He's a little asshole.
(But, despite this, he does keep one of your creations on his nightstand. It reminds him of you, and when he's falling asleep, he'll trace the design.)

Gifts of BL! Aka Christmas Goodies For BL Fans Who Want Important Discussions About Representation.
Oh wow, we're closer to Christmas. Where has the time gone?. So here's a gift for you all—another list of great BLS that will make you have a great time. If you find it fun rewatching and feeling all the emotions from these love stories, then I hope you enjoy these. Today I bring you guys a list of recommendations for our sometimes serious, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes innovative educators in BL that are very much needed.
Ah, The educators, the teachers, the serious topics, the displays, the emotional moments. Some of these shows decided to surprise me when I came in expecting something odd and not realistic; only for them to break my heart but also humble me and teach me and others some of the crucial conversations we need to have about LGBTQ+ representation in BL. We have couples discussing about their sexuality accepting they are gay or bi(Yes not just in love with only one person but they actually embrace their sexuality), we have essential coming out scenes and looks into the mindsets of people who struggle with coming out and being in the closet, we have supportive families that have to learn and show our characters warmth because of their own experiences, and we have metaphorical outlooks of what it feels to have to please society with the result of losing ourselves. These are the great BLs, they break our hearts, but they make it hopeful to see people who go through their issues and come out in love, strong and protected and supported. Their journey is worth it, so if you want to find some shows that give you these feelings, then join me and let's look at these great representations in the BL genre.
BL has a bad rep. How could it not when the reason BLs were created was for straight girls who fangirled about two boys kissing. Not that I even hate fujoshi's, you're allowed to be whatever you want, like whatever you want as long as you don't cross the line and make people uncomfortable with outrageous demands or actions (like the fujoshi's in some BL shows). But BLS has become something more, though some people refuse to take them still seriously and doubt their authenticity, some people refuse to accept some shows as BL, they instead just call it a queer film or tv. But why? BL has become a place for people to run away into a fantasy of stories where there's drama, romance, comedy, mystery, passion and more. BL can be anything, and in 2020 BL showed it could be anything, it could be serious and well produced and not filled with its past problematic enquiries, it could be funny and still tug at the heartstrings, it could be deep and painful and full of lessons but still have a happy, hopeful ending, it could be any genre it wanted, from supernatural, action, thriller and more. BLs improved and also became a source for the representation of LGBTQ+. And I think that's beautiful. It might have a taken a while for people to learn, for own voices to find a way to write new shows, for risks to be made. But 2020 saw the influx of BLS that weren't just fan service but actually art or just good stories with a great message. Here are some of them.
Thai
Dark Blue Kiss
It's weird to say that Dark Blue Kiss is an excellent representation for the qualities needed in this list. But what can I say apart from the overbearing, jealous plotline and some irrational over reactiveness with some of our characters. Dark Blue Kiss and Kiss me again has always been a show that has been worth it. Dark Blue Kiss is one of the first Thai BLs, where we saw a supportive parent, and that's Pete's father. He's incredible; he's everything that's healthy, understanding and helpful. He makes jokes with Pete about his relationship but also supports and gives him advice. He's protective and sweet when it comes to Kao and Pete, and they are themselves when they're with him even daring to speak about things like intercourse etc. It's incredible; he was a breath of fresh air for parents we usually encountered in this genre. He had discussions with his son, and in doing so, we saw his son also have more conversations and discussions with his partner about what their sexuality was, why they should come out as a couple, why they were scared to do so, what was holding them back etc. Pete's dad isn't the only supportive parent with advice and warmth, we later also add Kao's mum to the list, she's always known about Pete and Kao and was waiting patiently for Kao to come on his own and tell her. It's incredible. Dark Blue Kiss brought out conversations that didn't seem meaningless, there was an actual exploration of the fears some people have with coming out, and it was brilliant and wonderful to see on screen. Honestly are we shocked? It's Backaof as the director; all his shows should be on this list, every single show of his explores these topics with care and heart. And it's incredible.
Why it's a gift
Deep conversations and moments where you see two people learn and wonder about their sexuality and how the world may react to it. Supportive parents that are understanding, helpful and sweet. A relationship that's incredible despite its flaw, shown wonderfully and thoughtfully. Even the hurtful moments like when Kao gets outed and also has to struggle with claims of being a predator is done well and leads to Kao finally accepting his fears and coming out to the people he loves. By the end of it, all Pete and Kao are back together, happy, finally healthy and mature. Dark blue kiss also explores these two ambitions, their dreams, their ideas for the future and more. And it also has a great friendship group worth stanning. Pete and Kao aren't the only couple in this show worth praising and noticing you also have Mork who goes through his own acceptance of his sexuality once he falls for Sun, they're also great and also have their own plot revolving around dreams, jobs and character and angst. A great side couple in BL. It's amazing.
Special mention:
My Dear loser: Another Backoaf directing, no words this is incredible, I think everyone knows how great this is despite the BL coupe being a side couple, that may have an ending that feels unfinished. You can watch both this and My sky for a full experience. This deals with everything so well and also has a great support system from friends. Chimon is such an amazing actor in this.
As always I leave a gift:
LINK HERE FOR MY DEAR LOSER IN/SUN CUT
DARK BLUE KISS EDIT FOR PETE KAO THEIR STORY
I told Sunset about You
I mention this show on every list; it's like not even a surprise anymore to see it. There's a reason why this show is incredible why people prefer to see it as a queer film instead of BL. Why people think calling it a BL is an insult (which I think why? A BL should be allowed to be seen as a good form of representation). This show has it all. Honestly, a great production company behind it, acting that's phenomenal, and a story that will blow your minds each time you watch it and try to piece it together. What's even more respectful about ITSAY is that it's a coming of age done well, it showcases feelings of the youth and how feelings are seen as a storm that can't be stopped.
Especially when you are struggling to understand your sexuality, we have two characters, Teh who learns as he grows that he has uncontrollable, addictive and crazy feelings for his best friend, they're drawn to each other, but Teh can't understand what he feels, he doesn't know what this means. He struggles to comprehend it as well with his struggles with ego, pride and selfishness because of his young age. Then we have his best friend Oh Aew he knows what he is, he also is torn apart by feelings when Teh reenters into his life, he also struggles through losing his self, individuality and his confidence because of his feelings for Teh. It's brutal, but one thing stands for sure, these two are meant to be together, these two love each other. Why is this so great? Because the directing and production of this show is serious, every single scene counts, every single action has a meaning, but also this show has incredible moments that show you the struggles of internalized homophobia.
It's something that's always mentioned in BLS as a struggle. Still, this show used scenes to show it, like for example, OH wearing his mother bra because he wished he was born a girl to be with Teh. Still, then he breaks down in self-loathing only to later stand up and embrace who he is, and Teh who finally comes out to his brother in a heart-wrenching scene; another supportive and healthy relationship who understands him and tells him it's okay to be who he is, to be with Oh, to be brave and take a leap to what he wants. His brother's conversation is everything someone who struggles with the same issues wants to hear; it's a healing effect, a hopeful and painful realization that some people don't have someone like Oh and Teh's family who help them and let them accept who they are.
It's a journey of discovering the truth about how so many people have to go through this fear because of what society put in our heads, it's a wake-up call, but the fact that ITSAY has a happy ending despite all the realistic representation and angst is a hopeful meaning for everyone who saw themselves in Oh and Teh. It's incredible.
Why it's a gift:
It's unbelievable; it's not told to you but shown to you the amount of struggle some people can have when they're coming of age and realizing their sexuality. It's a beautiful representation of what it's like to fall in love: the angst, pain, healing but also sabotage, and the growth. It's produced with so much effort and hard-work and research on what would be an excellent story for LGTBQ to see. One of the best made BLs; this is not us being dramatic.
.A Gift for You
GREAT OST PLAYLIST OF ITSAY
An Edit For Teh/OH
He's coming to me
Another Backoaf, directing masterpiece. This show is incredible. Like words can't explain how good this show is. Words can't describe what a gift this show still is. How much a BL like this was needed. First, this show is already unique; it deals with supernatural world-building, with ghosts and mysteries of death/murder, it deals with also coming of age, and falling in love and accepting your sexuality. It has two confirmed gay characters who we see explore and finally reveal who they are, they've both known and as they fall in love, they have to go through the angst of what it means that they love each other.
It's incredible, not just because of the fact that Thun's ability to see ghosts and his need to hide that also mirrors his need to hide his sexuality, the way he breaks down later after realizing that people won't let him just be him or the way people made him feel bad for being who he is. The way that Mes also went through the same thing before he died, and the person who connected them was Thun's mom. She's incredible, and I still believe the coming-out scene of Thun to his mum is one of the best as incredible as his confession on the rooftop to Mes as he breaks down in the rain because he's afraid he's been left.
The amount of repressed feelings these two hides is insane, and when they later confront it, it's like OMG really they knew about their feelings all along? It's incredible, with a show that already has an incredibly well thought out plot about ghosts and supernatural, but it also has two characters that are fleshed out, who both have discussions with everyone around them about what they are and the way they have a happy ending after all the angst and tears. It's worth it thousand times over and over again. This show is just great. And no one else can do it like Backaof he just has the most excellent formulas: supportive family members, supportive friend unit, serious conversations about sexuality and feelings, important relationships and no censorship, unique plotlines and risks. He's incredible. No words.
Why this is a gift?
The actors are also one of Thailand BLs veterans. Both of them are incredible and nuanced in their scenes; they make you cry, scream, sigh, and swoon. They make you learn, and it's fantastic, they're amazing people. They're worth it both Ohm Pawat and Singto, their performances are incredible. Every character in this show is fleshed out and necessary, the plot makes sense and isn't written haphazardly, and the directing is phenomenal. Watch it.
A gift for You
He’s coming to me the whole show
PINOY
Gaya Sa Pelikula
This time we have the Philippines if Thai isn't your cup of tea I guess. This show is just, so great? It was made with the intention for representation, a love story to the LGBTQ community, actors devoted to researching and learning about the topics presented in the show. This show is outstanding, no words, it's not preachy, but it's still educative. Not one episode goes back when you don't see the effort and brilliance of this show; each message of each episode is so important and needed. The story isn't afraid to explore topics which haven't been shown correctly in this genre, and it's so good they did.
We have two characters, one a gay out guy (Vlad) who is very bitter about everyone and how they treated him, he's dying to be loved for who he is, and he's desperate to find a safe space where he can be himself loud and proud, he falls in love with another (Karl) who is more in the closet, with secrets that you discover later about his circumstance he's not sure of who he is and as the show progresses he and us get educated about everything. He learns to accept that he is gay.
This show is about self-acceptance, love and healing. By falling in love; our characters are forced to question everything about who they are, what they've gone through and how that shaped them, and we realize that both perspectives is right in their own way. The show is for people who feel like the guy who's out, who wants to be proud and tell the world he's in love but also it's for people like his partner who feel guilty for struggling and having anxiety about accepting who they are, but this show doesn't force him out, it doesn't force them to be together, it just becomes a realistic story full of hope about the future of these two. It's a healing show; it makes you question your self, it makes you go through your own journey of how you feel you're perceived in the world, it takes you on a trip of your own self-learning, exploration and discovery. And it ends making you feel grateful for the experience of it all.
Why it's a gift:
I think the best thing about this show is the other extra gifts it brings. It's music playlist, it's like your own gift bundle of new artists to explore and listen to every song is beautiful and needed, with different messages and feelings, you will find one music you love in this playlist, and you'll end up spending hours weeping about them. But it's beautiful, it's euphoric, and the show is worth it. The show has amazing actors and a great team of people behind the scenes. The writer is brilliant, poetic and serious; he knows how to make a plot. He knows how to teach you without you feeling patronized, he knows how to humble you if you didn't know anything before. He's just great.
A gift for You
GSP OST PLAYLIST- THE BEST
Gameboys
I haven't mentioned this show on here before, which is sad because it really should be praised. It's an outstanding show that showed up during a time where the world was on pause. Gameboys provided a gift for everyone who looked for something during the lockdown in the pandemic. The fact it revolves around events in the pandemic, it uses it as a great plot device and has important moments that touch your heart and make you reflect on the situation without being too heavy.
Gameboys is incredible; it also has a unique storyline, a Gameboy and his fanboy who falls in love with him and is confident he can win over his heart. Except, our Gameboy Cairo has to go through some self-exploration first, some self-healing and acceptance, some coming to terms with guilt and self-hatred he feels for things that happened to his past. This show makes you cry, so bring the tissues, I mean every show on this list probably does, but this show has so many moments, we have supportive parents, but even in a more heartbreaking way, we have warnings of what happens when people selfishly out people, the consequences of that, how much anxiety and fear you can have as you deal with internalized homophobia and being in the closet, how it affects family members, and what it means to finally accept who you are and stand up for who you are. It's brilliant, painful, but it also makes you grin from so many heartfelt moments we needed during a dark time. The actors are also amazing, and they make you feel everything they feel so naturally, they're also three dimensional and have exciting character arcs. There's a great support system as well in this show, with the best friend, who makes you smile whenever you see her. This show is worth it.
Why is it a gift?
I feel like without knowing it Gameboys was an actual gift for everyone who was struggling during the pandemic, it showed the reality of what was going on, but it also showed healing and hope and happiness derived from being in quarantine and lockdown. It showed that even in lockdown nothing had to stop, we could still fall in love, grow and learn about our selves if we wanted to. It also had a great love story to follow that was both funny, romantic and heartfelt. The directing was genius also, and it touched many people. It was outstanding.
A gift for You
ALT GAMEBOYS: A SIDE STORY FOR ONE OF THE CHARACTERS
JAPANESE
Cherry Magic
Finally, we come to this gem of a show. What else can we say about Cherry Magic? Oh I know, no one expected this Japanese BL to be so full of heart, joy, magic but also depth. This show is just ridiculously good, it's not as painful as the other shows, it's slower and more softer than the other angst in the other shows, but this show still tugs at your heartstrings and makes you laugh and cry. It deals with everything that has already been mentioned: self-acceptance, questioning of sexuality, trying to please society that you lose your self, being brave and finding your self, loving your self, etc.
It's just so great, it's also unique a story about magic and reading minds that our main character has. As he realizes his person (Kurosawa) loves him, we watch Adachi struggle through self-hate, self-deprecation and anxiety to finally come out of his shell and become who he wants to be. This show has an incredible love interest who's just wonderful, he's the ideal man, but that doesn't mean he's one dimensional or stale.
He's also deep, and has his own flaws and hurts, and the way he loves Adachi is just breathtaking and frankly makes you so jealous. Why is this show for representation? Because it's a slice of life of an office romance, it deals with what people go through in life, the gruels and requirements from work whilst also watching both our characters choose to be brave and come out to each other and pick each other despite their fears about what their environment thinks.
These two are each other's healing, comfort, support system and they both have incredible personalities. This show is also quite deep, you wouldn't think so, but when you listen to the dialogues and watch some of the scenes, you'll see how deep this show can be for its characters whilst still being fluffy. It perfectly represents the fear of coming out and coming to terms of having feelings for someone you weren't expecting. Its message is more hidden, but it's still great for conversations about representation, in my opinion.
Why it's a gift?
It was made as one; the last episode is coming on Christmas haha. This show takes some tropes of BL and chooses a healthier option, it also just fleshes out its characters incredibly, you watch how Adachi and Kurosawa changed each other's life without knowing and how their love keeps being needed by each other in many ways. It also is called Cherry Magic, because this show is magical, it makes you grin, be happy and excited from seeing one episode, it tugs at your heartstrings whilst making you blush and squeal from happiness. Its softness is something to look forward to after a hard day of whatever real life looks like to you, it has a healing effect, a warm effect and it makes you smile and forget your troubles in those few minutes. It's wonderful.
A gift for You
Adachi and Kurosawa EDIT
I hope you enjoy these shows they’re all incredible, they’ll surely make you smile and be happy. They’re all important in their own way, if you haven’t seen any have a go and see which you love. Let me know if I’ve missed some, to be honest I chose the ones that had scenes with important discussions that make you think or scenes that bring out emotions and feelings but also make you learn and realise something. Hope you enjoy the recommendations or if you’ve watched them before hope you enjoy the reviews and commentary. Merry Christmas guys :)

To Marry a Vigilante: Part 2
MASTERLIST || First || Previous || Next
Disclaimer: Masterlist
---------
The day before Christmas… was a nightmare. Marinette had to admit that Damian was right. Her parents volunteered to help Alfred in the kitchen. The butler tried to argue, but his fighting with Sabine was an unstoppable force meeting an unmovable object. In the end, they got a compromise that the baker couple would help that day, but would be banned from the kitchen for the rest of Christmas.
The boys meanwhile were ordered to decorate the house and prepare the formal dining room. And it was a mess. First, Dick and Jason spent almost an hour arguing over the decorations, only to then see that Mari and Damian already decorated the room with the merchandise Damian somehow got imported from Paris without their knowledge. Jason tried to dismantle the decorations that were put up without a warning, but it ended with Damian chasing him with a sword… again. It didn’t help that Todd kept riling the youngest Wayne up. Technically second-youngest since he was older than Marinette by a few months, but that’s beyond the point.
Then, when Jason ended up with a slight limp after he crashed into a cupboard when trying to cut the corner and Damian’s bloodthirst got satisfied, it was time for decorating the Christmas tree. When Mari saw the tree, she almost toppled over. It was put in the hall before the stairway to the second floor. It was tall enough to almost reach the ceiling.
“That’s your tree?”
“In my defense, I tried to order a smaller one. It’s not my fault they gave size in the metric system.” Tim argued.
“If you cut on coffee and instead got some sleep once in a while, maybe you would’ve noticed.” Jason snickered.
Dick took the opportunity to climb upstairs and start decoration, only to be caught by Steph, who proceeded to decorate on the other side. Seeing the two already started, the three other boys also raced to start putting decorations. It was a mess, but somehow Marinette found it endearing. It felt… homey. Then she grabbed some decorations and joined Damian. Then she teamed up with Steph to make a large bat symbol on one side out of gold tinsel garland. Then she made a red ‘R’ inside it.
And this time nobody got hurt.
After that, Dick and Jason left for their respective homes. Tim and Steph left shortly after, leaving Damian and Mari alone with the adults. Technically, Cass also stayed at the manor, but unless she wanted to be seen, only Alfred (and now Sabine) could find her.
The teens decided to stay in the Manor. Marinette was dead set on making everyone their gifts by hand. She brought several unfinished designs that could be adjusted. Damian was kind enough to collect the measurements for each family member from Alfred.
And so Mari then spent all evening in her room, where she worked on adjusting and finishing everything. She was beyond grateful that her room was already equipped with a sewing machine and anything else she would need to make the gifts. The whole time Damian sat nearby to offer some advice. Mostly, he just enjoyed watching her work on the designs.
“Do you think putting a Red Robin logo on this tie would be too much?” She asked, showing a red tie with black accents. It had a meticulous black stitch going through the narrow part. It spelled MDC over and over.
“Maybe put it inside, so that it only shows when he put it upside-down,” Damian answered.
“But then nobody will see it.”
“There is a bigger chance someone sees it than if it’s on the front.” The boy deadpanned.
“Don’t be mean.” She scolded him, but her pearly laughter kinda ruined it. She put the tie away and reached for the sunglasses she was working on. They used to be black, but she tinted the glass deep-red and then added details at the side. Now, there was a small silver bullet-shaped decoration where they would fold. She had a case ready where she stitched the shape of a red handgun at the top of black leather.
“And this?”
“Habibti. They will definitely love your gifts.” He gave her a soft smile. “If not, I will introduce them to my sword” He muttered, hoping she would not hear it.
“Damian!” She shouted. His hopes went in flames. “No murdering people!”
“Can I at least maim?” He asked with a hopeful voice.
“Hm… only if you ask me before.” She giggled at his expression.
“I think it is high time I retreat to my bedroom. It’s almost midnight, Angel. Go to sleep.” He stood up and walked outside, only to be met with Sabine’s judging eyes. She watched him carefully before smiling slightly.
“Good. You can go. I will tuck her in.”
After she passed him, Damian let out a breath he didn’t know he held. That woman was scary.
--------
The next morning was still hectic, but no longer so chaotic. Mari spent half of it locked in her room giving the designs final touches. She did not let Damian or her parents in since she focused on their gifts and didn’t want to spoil the surprise. Alfred was the only one who got a peek inside and he didn’t even fear Sabine, so the chances he would tell anything to anyone were less than Joker genuinely apologizing to everyone he ever hurt.
Finally, around midday, Marinette finally revealed herself. The room was a mess of cut fabric, loose papers, and Kwami knows what else. There was also a bowl of water in the corner.
“That was a race.” She commented before grabbing Damian’s hand and dragging him into the living room to share a tea and cookies. All adults cooed.
“So, Habibti. Care to reveal what you made for me?” The boy asked hopefully once they were both sitting side-by-side on the two-people couch. She held a cup of steaming tea while Damian put his in a small cup holder while he was eating a cookie.
“Nope.” She grinned. “But I can tell you that you will like it.”
“From you? I will like any gift.” He answered smoothly.
“Stop it!” She squealed, blushing heavily. “You can’t say things like that out of the blue.”
“Why?” He asked, giving her a barely noticeable smile.
“I can’t go around blushing all the time!”
“But you look so cute with red cheeks.”
“You don’t look so bad either, Mi Amor,” she retorted. She wanted to get some reaction from him, but he only smiled slightly more.
They rested, cuddled together for a bit, enjoying the silence that surrounded them. It was interrupted when suddenly Cass dropped out of the blue. Or from the ceiling, but they would’ve sworn she was not there before.
“You… Cousin?” The girl asked.
“Oh! You must be Cassandra!” Mari recognized her. Cass was maybe her height. She was dressed in workout clothes. “Nice to meet you. I’m Marinette.”
“Marinette,” Cass repeated. “Call me Cass. Everyone does.”
“Um… Sure. You can call me Mari if you like?” Both Damian and Cass grinned at that, much to the french girl’s confusion. “Did I miss some joke?”
“No, Angel. It’s just that Grayson’s daughter is named Mar’i” Damian looked at his beloved’s expression.
“Oh. Oh…” The realization dawned on her. “Well, then what about… Nettie?”
“Nettie… Like it.” Cass responded.
“Cass doesn’t speak much.” The boy took it upon himself to explain. “She first learned to communicate through body gestures.”
“Maman told me. I can’t believe aunt Sandra left you with that monster. Maman told her some things though, so maybe next time you two meet she will apologize.”
“Mother… Apologize… Me?” The girl asked in disbelief.
“Maman is a very persuasive person.”
Cass didn’t speak about that, but a memory of the hug two of them shared yesterday surfaced at the top of her thoughts.
“Anyway, you wanted to get to know me? Well… um… I’m fifteen, soon to be sixteen. I love fashion and design and I make almost all of my clothes. I also practice some martial arts in my free time. I love sketching outdoors. There is this small park next to my parent’s bakery that I love to visit. In the past, I adored the works of Gabriel brand, but after the owner turned out to be a major bastard I kinda decided to just stick to my own stuff. What else… I prefer tea to coffee unless I need to pull an all-nighter, my favorite sweets are macarons and my uncle named his soup after me when he won the cooking competition.”
“Soup… good?” Cass decided to ask.
“Oh! It’s the best. Actually, maybe we could ask uncle Wang to cook for our wedding, Dami! Can we? He would be invited anyway but then people would get to…”
“Of course, Habibti.” Damian interrupted her.
“Wedding?” Cass had more questions.
“Oh… Um… You didn’t know?” Marinette doubled back. “Of course you didn’t know. Damian tried to keep it down and I ruined it. Please don’t tell anyone. I’m so sorry Dami! I forgot! I was just so…”
Damian, following the usual routine when Mari started to panic, pulled her to his chest, and hugged her. He whispered something low enough for Cassandra not to hear. She did notice the couple’s body language. Devotion and love.
When Marinette finally calmed, Damian let her out of his embrace. “Thanks. I still keep some of my… less desirable habits.”
“It’s no problem. At least I have an excuse to cuddle with you without my brothers’ merciless teasing.”
“Wedding.” Cass urged them. Her curiosity was peaking.
“Ah! Right. So basically Talia kidnapped me and decided I would marry her son and then we both woke up tied before the altar and she threatened to kill us and our families if we didn’t go through with it. And I was so scared back then. And T… And I had no way to do anything else.”
Cass saw her tense and stopped herself. There was more to it, but she didn’t drill. She would learn later. Or just get it out of Tim. He knew everything.
“Well, now we’re stuck and there is this weird spell on us that makes it impossible to cheat on one another. At least I assume it works both ways since Damian didn’t test it.” There was no doubt in her voice and her body showed complete trust. Cass was actually impressed.
“The bitch that my mother is,” Marinette wanted to scold Damian on the language he used, but then again, he spoke about Talia so he wasn’t lying, “used some old curse on us, probably from the time my grandfather was still young. We are tied together. But we made it work.”
“Magic… bad.” Cass scoffed.
“No!” Mari quickly protested. “I mean not all magic is bad. It all depends on who uses it! Besides, everything turned out better than I could’ve ever hoped.”
“Good. I… Like you.” Her cousin smiled. “Hug?” She asked.
“Sure.” Marinette nodded and before she knew it Cass tackled her into the couch, almost breaking her bones.
“Oooh!” a new voice cooed. Damian immediately whirled around with a small dagger that he pulled from wherever he kept it. Selina Kyle was standing there, watching everything.
“Tt. I don’t like being spied upon.” Damian scowled.
“Relax, lover-boy. I just came and I was curious where everyone went and who were the new people.”
“Oh. That’s probably my parents. Alfred kicked them out of the kitchen today. They will probably be relaxing in the garden since they rarely have a chance to just relax. They run a bakery in Paris.” Mari smiled at the newcomer.
“Really now? And you’re the unlucky girl that got stuck with the short, dark, and brooding?”
“Tt. I’m not short.”
“I don’t hear you arguing about the dark and brooding part.” Selina teased.
“Angel, meet my father’s fiancée, Selina Kyle. She is also Catwoman.”
“Oh. She is in on the family business then?”
“Tt. Yes. I don’t keep things hidden from my wife.” Damian kept scowling.
“Aren’t you a dutiful husband?”
“I’m not afraid to defend my wife’s honor with a sword, thief.” The boy threatened. Selina measured him for a moment.
“Good.” She turned to Marinette. “He will do. If he is causing you trouble, you can crash at my place.” She gave her a small square paper with an address before leaving.
“Um… What was that?”
“Tt. That was Selina for you.” Damian was still in a bad mood until Marinette snuggled closer to him.
------------
Around five, the guests started arriving. It was unanimously decided that the youngest couple would be the ones to greet their guests. And looking at the size of the table, there would be more guests than Mari assumed. Damian was now dressed in a flawless black suit with a matching bowtie and a white shirt. Mari chose to wear the red dress that she knew left Damian speechless every time he saw her. Her hair was let go and formed waves cascading down her back.
Jason was first. He came on his bike alone. While everyone dressed in something elegant, he opted for an oil-stained t-shirt and brown leather jacket, complete with black cargo pants and heavy boots. Marinette had to admit he gave a bad-boy vibe that told her to stay away. But she’s seen this with Ivan and she was pretty sure Jason was, in fact, a big softie once one got to know him.
Next to arrive were Tim and Stephanie. She wore a black and purple knee-length dress. It had no sleeves and hugged her form tightly. The design was several large squares of material sewn together so no two colors were the same. It was an interesting design. Tim wore a blue suit with black accents and a white shirt. They looked like a nice couple. And the boy looked almost awake, which was a success. Also, they were dragging a giant bag of gifts.
Shortly after, a small van pulled close and five people exited. There was an older couple, a joyful boy around their age jumping around them, and two people Marinette recognized instantly. You couldn’t hang around Alya and not recognize Clark Kent and Lois Lane-Kent.
“Tt. Jon.” Damian greeted the boy.
“Sup Dames? Hello fair lady.” He greeted them, happiness almost oozing from him. Jon went as far as kissing her hand.
“Could you stop with the flowers and rainbows?” Wayne growled.
“But it’s Christmas!”
“Tt. I know.” Damian was angry. Seeing it, his beloved grabbed his hand and squeezed it lightly.
“Hello Mr. Kent, Mrs. Lane-Kent.” Marinette greeted the adults, hoping to diffuse the situation before Damian gets too riled up.
“You must be Marinette. I remember Jon mentioning you when we talked about his trip to Paris.” Clark smiled. He then nodded toward the older couple. “These are my parents, Johnathan and Martha Kent.”
“It’s nice to meet ya, girl.” The man nodded toward her.
“Hi. I’m Marinette.” She gave them a smile. Just as the Kents went inside, another car pulled in.
This time, it was Dick with his wife, Kor’i, and daughter Mar’i. They all got out of the car.
“I still don’t understand why you insist on driving this thing. I could’ve flown us here twice as fast.” The woman had distinctively orange skin and her eyes were entirely green. Marinette instantly recognized her as Starfire. She wore a white shirt with bell-like sleeves that reached to her elbows and blue jeans that ended just above her ankles. Dick had a dark-gray shirt and jeans. She would classify their outfits as smart casual.
“Yeah, daddy! I can fly too!” To prove her point, the little girl rose a bit into the air. She was dressed in an oversized purple jumper that reached to the ground. She also wore white trainers. Her skin was less orange than her mother’s but the color was easily visible. And her eyes were also entirely green without any white. And she was flying. Her hair was black though, as opposed to her mother’s fiery red.
“Sweety. Come here.” Kor’i reached up and grabbed the floating daughter. The girl immediately nuzzled into her and smiled victoriously. She got exactly what she wanted. Marinette couldn’t help but giggle.
“Tt. I still find her annoying.” Damian scowled.
“I don’t know, she looks cute to me. And you already admitted that you love cute things.” To make things worse for her love, Marinette gave him puppy eyes and a bright smile. He tried to scowl, but couldn’t muster enough strength to oppose his wife.
Dick almost tripped over the car when he started laughing.
Since they were the last to arrive, Marinette and Damian returned inside to join everyone for festivities.
----------
Somewhere else, in a much darker place, a lone figure stood in an empty room. His clothes were dirty and torn. The light entered only through a small window.
“So you see? It was all a set-up!” He shouted.
From the shadows, another figure joined.
“But of course, sweetie. Of course.” They said in a patronizing tone. “I will of course help you.”
“You understand me. And what about… Marinette?”
“I don’t understand your obsession with her, but I can share.”
“Whatever. She will be mine!”

Blue Fire Tree
Prompt: Everlasting (last day omgggg) | Gift for @tinaillustrations ! Hope you like this fluffy piece! I enjoyed writing this one. 🤗| Happy HitsuHina Week! @hitsuhina-week 💛💙
“Fire trees should be blue not red,” Ichika mumbles while filling in the traced pattern of the tree on the canvass as Hinamori gathers her unruly red mane into a semblance of a bun. Her charge was a Shinigami apprentice and had the hodgepodge attitude of both of her parents. She was sarcastic, blunt, inquisitive, passionate, and kind.
Renji thought she was the best person to teach his daughter common spells to start off her training. Not that Hinamori disliked being the resident kido expert. She particularly loved the monicker, but there were times she felt she didn’t deserve the title. Like today when, for some other reason, Ichika and her was blindsided by arts and crafts.
“Wouldn’t you like the flowers to resemble your hair?” Hinamori clips the last of the strands and looks over the child’s shoulder. The colors spill out of the lines and the scenery seems to change from summer to winter.
“But blue is the hottest color. Imagine trees blooming with the brightest flames, the most intense warmth, and the most lasting flowers.” Ichika finishes the piece with a last dash of blue paint. The apprentice turns to her and asks, “Does it look so desolate?”
“No, not really. To me, winter has always been warm.“
Someone coughs behind them to get their attention. Hitsugaya Toushiro, captain of the 10th Division, stands awkwardly at the entrance of the dojo with a tray of tea and pot of biscuits. It doesn’t escape her notice that he used the tea set she gave last Christmas, and this observation makes her feel giddy inside.
Maybe I’m just appreciative of people who use my gifts, Hinamori justifies to herself.
“Hello, Captain Hitsugaya. Is that for us or for Vice-Captain Momo?” Ichika greets him as she takes the tray off his hands.
The blush creeps on the captain’s face just as quickly as his brows furrow in annoyance. He quickly glares at the mischievous remark of Ichika and redirects his gaze to his equally flustered childhood best friend. “This was not of my own good will. I was threatened by Byakuya to take good care of his precious niece, and it just so happens that this space is under my jurisdiction.”
Hinamori tilts her head in a slight apology. “I hope we don’t bother you too much. Would you like to join us for some art session? Ichika loves to paint today.”
He almost says something, but he stops himself. His stance goes from alert to rigid, and tension fills the air. “Maybe some other time.” Ichika glances from her current teacher to the captain and back to her teacher again.
“Oh, sorry for taking up your time.” Hinamori slightly bows, unsure of what transpired just now, and Hitsugaya nods in return. Before he is completely out of her sight, she calls out to him again.
“Shiro-chan?” He glances back at the sound of his nickname. “Thanks for the tea.”
He smiles in mild annoyance before he flash-steps out of their sight. “It’s Captain Hitsugaya to you.”
--------------------------
“Something’s bothering you,” Rangiku says to Hinamori as she slides beside her in the ramen booth. “Your treat in exchange for my wisdom.” She proceeds to order her usual ramen and sake combo.
“How was your trip to the Land of the Living?” Hinamori asks, obviously skirting the issue she wishes to raise.
“Kazui is subdued and gentle like his mother, but somehow, he manages to get into fights with bullies on the street. It’s his Ichigo genes.” The combo meal arrives along with two shot glasses. “How are you doing with the chaotic devil spawn Ichika?”
“She’s progressing really fast with the kido, but she gets so distracted easily. It’s cute though that Renji and Rukia are not pressuring her. Great parents. How nice it must be.”
Rangiku side-eyes her while slurping the thick noodles. “How nice what now – “
Hinamori plays with her empty bowl and fidgets with her chopsticks. “To not be alone.”
She chokes on her noodles and quickly downs half of the sake bottle. “Oh, this is great news! I have someone on my mind who would like to be in your company forever.”
Hinamori gives no response and instead continues fiddling with her bowl. “How nice it is to be also like Shiro-chan, content and busy enough to be single. How do I become like your captain, Rangiku?”
The smile fades from the woman’s face and is replaced by a bustling vein near her temple. “I’m sorry what did that short man do or say to you?”
“I asked him if he would like to do some art with us, you know, help me with babysitting for a few minutes, but he literally stiffened like a stick. Seems like he doesn’t want to waste time with kids or do any family-related activities. Or maybe he’s just too busy, captain duties and all.”
And yet he took the time to bring you tea, a voice screams inside her mind.
“That’s….rude,” an exasperated Rangiku remarks. She pours a glass for Hinamori and decides on a plan. “Unless you’re seeing him as….?”
“Huh? Oh no no no.” Hinamori downs the liquid in one gulp, suddenly embarrassed by her friend’s insinuation. “We’re just friends, childhood friends. I…don’t see Shiro-chan that way.”
“Sure, whatever you say Momo. Do you want me to introduce you to some people?”
Hinamori looks up at her, doe-eyed.
“I guess that’s a yes.”
--------------------------
Hinamori actually forgot about her request to Rangiku as she and her student started to settle in a rather serious kido training. The plan apparently was set to happen after a week when she came across a bulletin announcing her quest for a perfect match through a one-day interview application. This was the first time Hinamori wanted to be swallowed by the void and never return to Seiretei.
She finds herself visiting Division 10 HQ every afternoon but to no avail since coincidentally, Rangiku has some errands to do in Karakura, and won’t be back until the date of the interview. Or maybe it has also something to do with Hinamori avoiding Hitsugaya and having to do all the explaining. And so she had no choice but to wait for the inevitable day.
“Uhhh Vice-Captain Matsumoto, you said introduce, not organize a whole dating screening process!” Hinamori’s voice goes a pitch higher for each word, but Rangiku is too busy arranging the people lining up to notice her.
Her current captain, Shinji Hirako, chuckles beside the blondie, amused by the growing line of eligible Shinigami singles in their HQ. “You are quite the eye candy in our division, huh. Didn’t expect you’d have this many suitors.” He squeezes his vice-captain’s shoulder as form of reassurance. “You should have told me, Hinamori. I could have set you up in an arranged marriage.”
“Captain, that’s atrocious!” Hinamori protests. She walks over to Rangiku to disperse the line, but Yumichika and Ikkaku move to her side and grabs her midway through her litany of objections. They lead her to a makeshift container with two chairs facing each other and a table in between.
“This is ridiculous,” Hinamori mumbles her breath, her energy already defeated by the two dumbasses in front of her.
“Well to be fair, Hinamori, this is a long time coming,” Yumichika says.
“And the result necessitates this kind of method so stop mumbling and screen your admirers, babe,” Ikkaku supplies. Irritated, Hinamori chases them off with two fireballs.
The first ten Shinigami ‘applicants’ were too insufferable as they were clearly aiming for the prestige of her position.
“If dating a vice-captain would give me a higher seat in Gotei 13 then why am I still single?” she bats the question to the 11th person who sat across her. When they didn’t give her an answer, she sighs, “Next please.”
“Would you know what’s my favorite brand of tea?”
“Uhh, Robusta.”
“I believe that’s coffee. Next please.”
“Hello, vice-captain Hinamori, I brought you peaches. They’re my favorite.”
“I’m allergic to them. I’m sorry. Next please?”
“What are your strengths?”
“Well, I can do shunpo.”
“That’s basic Shinigami skills.”
“…………..”
“…………..”
“I’ll see myself out. Thank you for your time, vice-captain.”
“I know you’re traumatized by Aizen-“
The container collapses as Hinamori summons Tobiume.
--------------------------
“I think I will be forever alone.” Hinamori looks on as her fellow vice-captains clean up the mess she incurred over the unfinished statement earlier.
“I’m really sorry if I did the whole thing over the top,” Rangiku tells her sincerely. She hugs the raven-haired girl and waits in silent for the commotion to die down. “Though the last one was really foul, and you were valid to be angry.”
“I was afraid I’d burn down Captain Shinji’s quarters.”
“You can, just to piss him off. The whole process is so draining, huh?” Hinamori nods at the observation. Rangiku continues, seemingly voicing her own thoughts, “It’s hard to put yourself out there especially when they don’t know batshit about you. Would be easier if you have common interests or when they’re already your friend.”
The last phrase is said so pointedly that Hinamori’s mind automatically pictures Hitsugaya. She runs along with her imagination. How easy it would be indeed to spend the rest of her life with him. And as if her mind conjured him, the 10th Division Captain comes into view alongside Ichika. It looks like her student dragged him to the unfortunate event.
There’s an angry glint in his eyes that Hinamori noticed. It was the torn expression he wore when she wounded her knees back when they were kids, the same frown when she told him she would kill for the traitor, the same worried eyes when she almost died. But his eyes refuse to meet hers.
“You missed all the fun, Captain.” Rangiku stretches out her arms as she stands up. She gestures for the rest of their friends to come nearer so they could re-group and go home. “It was a bad plan, and I owe Hinamori one. So we’re kinda ready for your scolding.”
Hitsugaya stays silent throughout the shuffling of his fellow Shinigami, in fact he remains frozen for too long that Ichika elbows him to get a response out of him. “Come on, you ruminated one week for this, and I had to physically stop you from harassing the interested applicants.”
“Shut up, Ichika,” the silver-haired captain mutters.
“I’ll tell on you to Uncle Byakuya!” the redhead sticks out her tongue and runs over to the side of Rangiku.
More annoyed than ever, Hitsugaya grunts and storms off towards Hinamori. “I’m not here to scold anyone. I’m here for the….dating application,” he gulps amid the collective gasps that ran through the group and the muffled laughter of Rangiku who clearly foresaw this.
“Well, what can I say, but fucking finally!” The blonde swigs a new bottle of wine from inside her robes and goes to do a little crowd control.
Hinamori’s eyes get a little bit bigger, and she stares at him with mouth agape, but she lets him grab her hand, in a gentle manner that he usually does, and brings her to the farthest fire tree in the area.
“Shiro-chan, what did you mean……” She continues to stare at his hand who somehow refuses to let go of her yet.
Ironically, he is also staring at the same hand, unsure whether to let go right now before he can actually say something. “I don’t know why you had to go through all of that.”
“I’m..I’m still confused, to be honest. It was just a passing feeling of loneliness, and I rambled to Rangiku which she took seriously….” Hinamori knows she is starting to word vomit out of nervousness, but she halts when he finally lets her go. Maybe she has misunderstood his presence again.
Hitsugaya raises his palm to her. “Would you let me…uhhh…word vomit this time?”
She slowly nods, rather shocked at his insistence, and even more so when he chooses to ramble.
“Momo, I have a cold reiatsu. My touch is never warm. But I know you like green tea, steeped in warm water for exactly 10 minutes, and that you don’t put sugar. You are afraid of storms, and you need a blanket around you to calm down. You like watermelon, but I think it’s because I subjected you to multiple summers of conditioning. You’re my childhood best friend. You’re hardworking. You are a kido expert. You earned your right to be a vice-captain, and you’ll do greater things.
And I know it’s not enough to say that I know you, I’ve always known you, but will it be enough for you to allow me to stay beside you?”
Hinamori leans against the trunk of the fire tree, breathless from his train of words. “Oh my god, this is too overwhelming. I thought you hated being not single.”
“What?” Hitsugaya looks at her with a puzzled expression.
“You don’t like Ichika. Or doing art…with kids.”
“Well, Ichika is a brat to me, but she’s a good student and will be a good Shinigami like her parents.” He nurses his temples for the growing headache. “Momo, listen to me.” He steps closer to her and makes sure she’s only looking at him. “I panicked because I visualized you and me….and you know. It wasn’t right when I haven’t even told you anything yet.”
“Oh.” The moment of realization dawns on her. “Oh, that’s great.”
“So we can finally go back to how we were.” Hitsugaya lets out a shaky breath as he sits on the grass and watches as the red petals of the fire tree shower them lightly.
A blushing Hinamori crouches down to his level. “Well, not quite. You should know, Shiro-chan, your reiatsu has always been warm and comforting to me.” She reaches out to take his hand and intertwines their fingers.
Hitsugaya smiles as he silently thanks himself that he outgrew her by two inches so he could easily slip a kiss on her forehead. “It’s Captain Hitsugaya.”
--------------------------
Ichika tries to see beyond the wall of spectators but Rangiku is not letting anyone through. She huffs indignantly, wanting to know whether her incessant prodding and pestering of the oblivious Hitsugaya bore some fruit. She has no choice but to juice out all the details later on from her uncle.
On second thought, maybe she won’t have to. Blue petals swayed with the light breeze of the wind, and on the far edge of the Fifth Division’s HQ is a lone blue fire tree.

Infinity Train Headcanon part 2
I'm back with more Infinity Train headcanons this time with the denizens! Like the first one I’m only doing five per character so it won’t too long. Here's a link to the first one , enjoy!
One-One
The Snow Car is his favorite car because he met Tulip there (also he was stuck there for 30 years). But from the evidence from the Snow Car clip he maybe slowly forgetting events only for small things (like the rock) to remind him of said events.
One-One can't eat, but if he did his favorite foods would be popcorn & soda (Movie Theater Car) and chocolate bars ( Minecart Car), but he would hate coconut (again Minecart Car).
One-One will slowly realize that denizens have their own desires besides helping passengers (ex. Lake) and if they desire to leave the train he will assist them.
When he was One, he was very cold and didn't bother explaining how the train worked to passengers (luckily denizens like, Kez, explained how things went). After, Tulip left he made the videos to help explain what the passengers must do to get home. This both got passengers off the train quicker and saved many lives.
The reason he was stuck in the Snow Car for so long was because: both passengers and denizens didn't notice him in the snow or on the snowman (woman or person) body, he was out exploring the car, or he was to busy collecting junk for his secret stash. Bonus: Amelia purposely put him on the snowman (woman or person) body to humiliate One!
The Cat
As great a business woman she is The Cat doesn't think things through ex: turning Ryan, Min-Gi and Kez to the bug police, never going back for Simon, and trying to trap Tulip in her memories. She did help Kez after realizing the Old West Car denizens were going to execute Min-Gi and Ryan for something so stupid as a tea stain, she believed that the ghom killed Simon and never looked back (she deeply regrets that now), the Conductor just wanted One-One not Tulip, after Tulip escaped and the Conductor wanted her as well The Cat realized how badly she messed up.
I doubt she's one of the first, but The Cat is one of the oldest denizens on the train ex: knew there was another conductor before Amelia came, hasn't taken a vacation in 150, said the Chat Chalet Car has been dry for centuries.
The Cat owns many businesses and cars ex: The Cat's Car, Le Chat Chalet Car, The Lucky Cat Car, the doughnut-holer business, the tea shoppe in the Old West Car, the list goes on!
I don't think The Cat knew the Apex were wheeling denizens. She knew they were ruining cars ( especially hers), but had no clue about the deaths.
The Cat's hoarding is to cope with her insecurities and failures. When, she finds out about Simon's death her collection will only get worse.
Randall
Randall makes a fortune out of the doughnut-holers, but the fortune is mainly trash. His main types of payment are flowers and gum.
I think Randall is unable to be killed. From what was shown in Le Chat Chalet Car he can be frozen or boiled (and eaten) and still be alive. The dude's immortal!
The Cat always brings Randall with her just incase she needs a hand in one of her money making schemes. Mainly, because she knows good and well that both passengers and denizens are indifferent towards her due to past schemes, but everyone loves Randall.
When, The Cat and Frank leave Le Chat Chalet Car, Randall (or a part of him) askes to stay because of his love of the snow. The Cat allows it, but tells Randall to make sure if passengers or denizens come to the chalet they have to pay to stay. too bad the payments are usually gum, flowers, rocks, and other useless things. But, ever once and awhile Randall gets paid money, CDs, jewelry, and other shiny trinkets.
Continuing with the last headcanon - Randall takes good care of the chalet when The Cat is away! He makes sure the pantry is stocked with food and non-Randall water, invites guest to snowball fights, and gives them doughnut- holers as guest gifts. Because of Randall the Car becomes popular, and why The Cat allows him to keep it open.
Atticus
After hearing the news of what the Apex did to the Unfinished Car, Atticus has reached out to other cars to stop the Apex so they wouldn't damage passenger/denizen relationships.
Atticus was the runt of his litter and abandoned at a young age. Atticus becoming king is the classic orphan-becomes-king story.
Atticus does check-up on One-One when he gets the chance. The two do talk about Tulip and how they miss her.
Atticus created a tulip field (mainly orange and yellow) in honor of Tulip for saving Corginina and returning One-One as conductor.
Stops calling Irwin, 'Ugly Irwin', and encourages the other corgis to stop it too. Because, it's rude to make fun of someone's appearance.
Alan Dracula
One created Alan Dracula to be unpredictable on purpose. For passengers who expect something to happen to realize nothing is set in stone. Now, One-One can't even predict what Alan Dracula will do next.
Alan Dracula was in The Party Car with Min-Gi, Ryan, and Kez (based on the deleted scene) and was the only partygoer to hear Ryan and Min's song.
Alan Dracula still has the sunglasses Jesse gave him.
Seeing as Alan Dracula was born before Amelia took over the train he is most likely 30+ years old at best.
Lake and Jesse were the only passengers that stayed with Alan Dracula the longest since few understood him and his love of grass.
Tuba
All of Tuba's children are named after brass instruments. We know about Bugle, but I think the others would be named: Trumpet, French Horn, and Trombone.
Tuba's satchel was a gift from her late husband.
Tuba's favorite food is pineapple since she ate a lot in the Jungle Car episode.
Tuba sang a ton of lullabies for her children and Hazel. The most popular one was the one sung in the show.
Once, Hazel comes to Earth she'll make a grave for Tuba to remember her by. The rest of the Infinity Train passengers (Tulip, Lake, Jesse, Grace, Min-Gi, Ryan, Amelia, One-One- I'm gonna end it here, but it's the rest of the denizens) come to show their support.
Kez
After what happened in the Art Gallery Car, Kez leaves signs and directions to allow the passengers and denizens to solve the puzzle easily. But each time she returns the signs go missing or destroyed!
After, making things up to the denizens she'd angered Kez became friends with them minus Judge Morpho. Kez doesn't focus on that really since she has friends now.
Sometime after Ryan and Min-Gi left, Kez and Morgan decided to make a lounge area that dedicates Jeremy, Ryan, and Min-Gi.
Kez spent a year away from Morgan after what happened to Jeremy. That gave her enough time to travel other cars, and (accidently) caused a lot of damage.
Kez rarely leaves Morgan now since they made up, the two really missed each other. When, Kez does leave it's usual for a couple of hours at best.

“Taking Chances Part 10: The Perfect Gift”
Part 10 is here! Not gonna lie, this chapter is short and not my best work but a necessary bridge to get to the climax of our story! Fair warning, it ends on a cliffhanger. Enjoy! ❤️
It was the Tuesday after the dramatic Carisi lunch. You typically had Mondays off from the gallery and after fucking Rafael senseless in front of the fireplace, it didn’t take much convincing on your part to get him to play hooky. The majority of your day was spent in bed— making love, browsing through Netflix, and eating Chinese takeout. It was a much needed escape from your chaotic lives and you still had a few more hours before reality set in.
The brilliant warm rays of the early morning sun peeked through your curtains. You languorously stretched your limbs, reveling in the sensation of your bare legs against the soft cotton sheets. With a long, drawn out yawn, you reached over to the nightstand for your cup of coffee and aimlessly flipped through a copy of the New Yorker. However your attention was otherwise preoccupied with a freshly showered Rafael walking around your bedroom with a towel hanging low around his hips. You nearly spilled your hot drink into your lap while counting the water droplets on Rafael’s bare chest, watching one droplet slide down his stomach towards his happy trail.
He let the towel drop to the floor and began to get dressed for work, arching his brow when he caught you perched on the edge of the bed staring at him with your jaw hanging wide open.
You blushed and cleared your throat. “Are you sure I can’t make you breakfast?”
“Thanks for the offer but I should try to get to the office early,” he said, holding up two ties for you to choose from.
You picked the silk violet tie. The purple hue brought out your boyfriend’s brilliant green eyes. “Ok, but promise me that you’ll eat something other than the stale pretzels at the precinct.”
“I promise.” Rafael gave you a quick peck on the lips and wrapped his tie around his neck when he realized that he was missing a key element to his wardrobe. “Where’s my shirt? I swore it was right here a min—” His search for the missing shirt came to a screeching halt when he noticed you were wearing it.
“Sorry babe.” A nervous giggle escaped your lips. “Who knew Armani made such comfortable clothes and besides I love how it smells.”
Rafael furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “How it smells?”
“Uh huh.” Your cheeks turned bright pink and you nervously fidgeted with the hem of his shirt. “It smells like you.”
An warm, fuzzy feeling coursed through Rafael’s veins at your confession. He cupped your face and tenderly kissed you before pulling away. “If you love the shirt so much, then it’s yours.”
“Really?” You glanced down at his undershirt and the tie draped around his neck. “But what are you gonna wear?”
“I have a spare shirt in my office that I keep in case of emergency coffee stains.”
You beamed brightly and wrapped your arms around his neck. “Best boyfriend ever,” you murmured against his lips before kissing him.
He deepened the kiss, parting your lips with his tongue as his hands inched further down your back towards your ass. You moaned in response, feeling him squeeze your cheeks.
“Mi amor,” he said between kisses. “I have to go.”
“No. Five more minutes. Please,” you whined, pressing your body against his.
Rafael groaned, all the blood from his brain rushing towards his cock. You were playing a dangerous game. “If we keep this up in five more minutes I’m going to be between your legs, fucking you so hard that you’ll forget your own name.”
You nuzzled against his neck as your hand began to palm his growing erection. “Well they do say that testosterone is higher in the morning. Care to put that theory to the test?”
“Y/N,” he said in a warning tone.
With a sigh of defeat, you stopped. “Alright, can’t blame a girl for trying.” You planted one last chaste kiss on the tip of his nose and gently pushed him towards the door. “Go on. Get outta here.”
“I’ll see you later tonight.” He grabbed his jacket and left the bedroom only to return 30 seconds later. “I forgot something.”
“What did you—” Rafael cut you off with a passionate kiss causing you both to fall back on the bed. Your heart fluttered. You were so lost in the moment that you forgot how to breathe. You could taste him on your tongue. All too soon the kiss ended and you were left dazed with thoroughly soaked panties.
“I love you,” he purred and playfully nipped on your lower lip before leaving with a smug smile firmly planted on his face.
“Love you too,” you mumbled and held up the shirt to your nose, inhaling deeply.
*****
A few hours later you were sitting in the small studio at the back of the gallery, dotting leaves onto a canvas. You skipped to the next song on your playlist and stepped back to analyze your work. The painting was of a large, vibrant tree in the center of a grey, bleak city. The tree was designed to look like Rafael. Its leaves matched the color of his eyes. Of course it wasn’t typical for trees to have seafoam green leaves but that was the beauty of art. You even tried to sketch his face in the trunk, its bark resembling his crooked smile and strong aquiline nose.
Underneath the tree stood the shadowy figure of a woman meant to be you. The tree’s branches were outstretched, gently caressing you, comforting you. In the palms of your hands, you cradled your heart, offering it to the tree as the only possession you had to give. In your opinion, it was the perfect depiction of your relationship. Rafael was your protector. With him, you felt loved, safe, hopeful for the future. He symbolized a new chapter in your life.
Your “Rafael-inspired” piece was meant to be a surprise, since the elusive search for the perfect art for his home was still ongoing. Lucky for him, inspiration struck one rainy Saturday several weeks ago. Well, lazy for you. Rafael was busy typing away on his laptop. Snuggling against him with the rain pattering against the window, a flood of emotions washed over you. The next day you woke up before dawn, grabbed your brushes and paint and snuck over to the studio.
From above the sound of your music playing through your headphones, you heard the door open and turned your head to see your coworker, Phoebe, walk in.
“Bonjour, ma petite aubergine!” she said in a tone that was way too chipper for 8:30 in the morning.
You snorted a laugh and turned off your music. “Good morning, my little eggplant?” you repeated the phrase.
“I love eggplant,” she replied with a shrug and went to stand behind you, surveying your work. “Hmmm… I like it.”
You made a face. “You sure? It’s not too cheesy?”
She hemmed and hawed for a moment before answering. “A little, but that’s ok. It's the good kind of cheesy.”
A sigh below past your lips. “You sure?”
“Absolutely,” she tried to reassure you. “And anyways, love makes people cheesy.” You blushed and went back to your painting while she milled around the room looking at your other pieces. “Ya’ know, there’s a new artist night at this gallery my friend works for. You should reach out to them. See if they’ll let you show your art. There are enough pieces here to choose from.” You opened your mouth to speak but she cut you off. “And before you say anything, I don’t wanna hear any excuses.” She gently took you by the shoulders and made you stand to face her. “You are incredibly talented and you should share that talent with the world while making a few bucks in the process.”
“Maybe you’re right,” you conceded, glancing back at your unfinished canvas.
Phoebe’s eyes widened. “I am? I mean, of course I am! Damn, this is the first time I’ve ever heard you consider doing a show. That Rafael guy must be a good influence on you.”
“Yeah, he’s the best.” You smiled, thinking back to earlier that morning.
“Speaking of which,”—she grabbed a spare chair and sat down, getting comfortable—“how did the whole ‘meet the parents’ scenario play out?”
You threw your head back and groaned. “Ugh, why did you have to remind me?”
“Uh-oh. Sounds like we’re gonna need coffee.” She stood up and grabbed her purse. “I’m gonna get a cappuccino from the cafe around the corner. Can I get you something?”
“An Americano and a cinnamon roll.”
“Be back in a flash. I wanna hear all about it. Family drama sustains me, especially when it’s not mine,” she teased before leaving.
You rolled your eyes and began to tidy up. While you stood at the sink, cleaning your brushes, watching the colors swirl and dissolve down the drain, you wondered if Rafael would like his surprise. You hoped he would. It took you hours to get just the right shade of green.
This gift was a big deal. Apart from your parents, you had never created a piece for anyone else. Your art was private. It was personal. Giving it away was like giving away a part of you. But you and Rafael were beyond that. This past weekend only confirmed what you had known from the moment he stepped into the gallery— that you were his, completely.
The sound of the door opening snapped you out of reverie. “That was fast, Phoebe,” you said over the running water. “I guess the cute barista wasn’t working today cause normally you spend a solid twenty minutes flirting before actually ordering your drink. I’m almost finished here. Give me a sec and then I can tell you about the worst Sunday lunch in the history of the Carisi family and that includes the time my Aunt Anita stabbed my Uncle Tony with a fork. ”
“Awww c’mon, babe. It wasn’t that bad,” said a voice that you recognized all too well.
Stunned, your hands froze, the brushes clanging against the sink. “This can’t be happening. Please, God don’t let it be him,” you thought, slowly turning around only to find your ex-fiancé standing right in the middle of your studio.
“Theo,” you stammered. “What are you doing here?”
He ignored your question and took a step towards you with a sinister smile that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
