uhh oh!!! unexpected hospital stay 🤪

last night i fell flat on my stomach tripping over absolutely nothing, so i went in to get checked. everything looks fine aside from a scraped hand and knee but they kept me for overnight monitoring just in case. this, of course, happened while jose is out of town, so ngl chat it was a rough time!!! baby spent the entire night gettin funky, blissfully unaware of her mom's moment of lonely mortal terror.

I've never had the nuts to ask but idk how much this stay will cost and I'll be officially without an income in two weeks. anything you could throw my way would be so appreciated. 💛

LIFE | hello Gemini stellium 😉 we got a lot going on in my 5th House rn. Growing a lil person while raising a not-so-little-anymore person while fostering my creative pursuits & just tryna get back to something that feels right & real is…exhausting.

I been feeling disillusioned & disconnected from things & people lately. Shit is pretty bleak on a grand scale & pregnancy is isolating af, even with people around supporting the journey. I miss my favorite vices but I’m also thankful that I’m having to do some unfinished inner work with sober mindfulness.

I wish these dreams would calm tf down though 😅

I’m utilizing this concentration of energy in my 5H to get back to what matters & is most fun for me, deepening my spiritual practice & just being a better parent overall.

Just got an invitation/registry link to my oldest family friends' baby shower and it's got me feeling like a real bitter old cunt

#depression #vent #i have known this person my entire life we grew up on the same mountain (for at least some of my childhood but we moved around a LOT)#we are literally only 3 weeks apart in age #and this just highlights how drastically different our lives have turned out #he has a house and a loving family and happy wife and great high paying career and now they're having a baby #and sending out out a baby gift registry where SO MANY of the items are $100+ some even $500+#and I'm just this empty piece of trash scraping by #can't get a date to save my fucking life #no close family or anyone i can really depend on #no house hell i still feel lucky to not be completely homeless most days #it makes me so ANGRY but then guilty for feeling angry because it's not his fault he grew up with a steady home life and supportive family #and then all of those bad feelings just turn into a depression sludge that I get mired in as I sob on the couch #and I don't really want to buy them shit when I know they'll have a million proud friends and family scrabbling to dote on them #but I'll feel like an asshole if I don't #nothing makes me feel like more of a piece of garbage than when I see people I've known forever reach life milestones firmly out of my grasp

also as a society plagued by wealth inequality and rising cost of living we really need to address how we show love through money. like I offered to come over to help them decorate their new house so many times and they kept refusing me 😞 I wanted to help them paint! but noooooooo

#like I get it she's a control freak and she just wanted her husband to do the painting #but I dunno it's like. that is something i would have enjoyed doing and I'd rather do twenty different odd jobs around your new house #than scroll an amazon registry #and I get that I should just shut up and fork over the cash and just accept it gracefully ...#and to be very clear that is what I am doing. that is what I did. I think it’s wild how people on twitter will pick the stupidest fights over the most petty shit and argue massively with other dumb stuff, including people’s right to be absolute assholes to each other, and then you look at their profile and they’re blatantly promoting their professional work and projects like bro. maybe if you want your account to represent your professional interests, stop arguing with other people on twitter with it 😭
