LIFE | hello Gemini stellium 😉 we got a lot going on in my 5th House rn. Growing a lil person while raising a not-so-little-anymore person while fostering my creative pursuits & just tryna get back to something that feels right & real is…exhausting.

I been feeling disillusioned & disconnected from things & people lately. Shit is pretty bleak on a grand scale & pregnancy is isolating af, even with people around supporting the journey. I miss my favorite vices but I’m also thankful that I’m having to do some unfinished inner work with sober mindfulness.

I wish these dreams would calm tf down though 😅

I’m utilizing this concentration of energy in my 5H to get back to what matters & is most fun for me, deepening my spiritual practice & just being a better parent overall.

Many words, but I have many feelings right now. And the biggest one is gratitude. My last batch of Splendid Astoria cards and prints has been dropped off at @insideastoria which is closing this month. I can’t tell you how much Andrew and his team has meant to me. Inside Astoria started selling my prints before I was accepted into my first art show or received my first grant. I was just drawing for my own pleasure and it was his belief in my work that really encouraged me to try for other things. Truly your life can change with the smallest act of kindness and I am proof of that. It’s harmonious community partnerships that build strong, loving communities - neighbors holding hands out for each other. This beautiful little shop has done so much to support artists and help us share our community pride. A sense of neighborly kinship is what greeted me every time I walked thru their door. I’ve bought gifts for my family, my friends and my kid here. I’m especially grateful to @lexistential & @jennwehrung for always brightening my day and being such amazing cheerleaders. Every shout out and kind word meant so much. I’m also grateful to my husband @instagraham_nyc for basically being my agent and the first to think others might enjoy my art. I’m sorry to see Inside Astoria go, but I wish all my friends there the most wonderful futures And I know I’ll see them around the neighborhood. As for my prints, this will be the last time many of them will be available for awhile. I’m still open for commissions and am looking into selling prints directly. You can always DM me if you’re interested in a specific piece. If you’re a local shop and would like to sell my art, I’m open to that, too! This last delivery has some old favorites, including my first piece which was a drawing I did about @astoriaparkalliance leaf fest in 2016. FALL OFFERING 🍂 | I’m offering Sliding Scale readings for the Fall!

I’ve always strived to provide affordable readings for folks without selling myself short. It’s a difficult balance (hello Libra season) & after evaluating & reevaluating, I’m good with where I’m at & what I bring to the (card) table.

If you’ve never gotten a reading from me, I use intuitive techniques that incorporate astrology, numerology, color symbolism as well as traditional Tarot meanings to interpret the cards in a way that explains complex concepts simply.

This will be my eleventh year doing this work & I still feel like a big ole baby in these spiritual streets. A perpetual novice that knows nada; but that in itself is not giving myself enough credit.
