This man has definitely had a mullet at one point and you cannot change my mind. The PNW still teases him about it to this day.

The fires were bad enough, but the smoke made it REALLY difficult for him to breathe a lot.

Florida:

Gov:

This man has a surprisingly high alcohol tolerance. Like Nevada, he tried to out drink Loui. And like Nevada, he failed miserably.

He doesn’t drink often, cuz it reminds him of PA’s outbursts from back then. (Listen, they’re getting better but Gov is still scared of Penn to an extent <3)

Louisiana:

Don’t let this mf drive unless he’s a getaway driver. Even then, just maybe try dying first. Cuz he’s really bad at it-

New York:

Texas:

Loves stuffed animals and plushies and has a collection in each of his houses (the states all probably have a few houses all located in their main cities)

CANNOT handle being approached on his blind side. He will freeze up and probably panic. Cuz he can’t see who it is and doesn’t know if it’s someone that wants to hurt him or not.

Houstonians typically dont have a twang or drawl from my experience of 7 years living here but hers comes out with strong emotion or when she's tired.

Calls her dad by his name on the regular, but calls him "daddy🥺" or "papa🥺" when she wants something. And it works most of the time. She calls him "Dad" when she's angry or upset with him.

She's a powerful woman. Gov fears her.

Austin is often apologizing for her.

She takes advantage of Texas's papa bear thing a lot. When she doesn't want to deal with it, "PAPA!!!!" And usually that person gets threatened or beat up. She does handle shit herself mostly but our girl can be lazy once.

Definitely made sure her and Austin had the same amount of snack/drink as a kid and made sure Dallas had less. Like she would measure the liquid in the cup and take some of Dallas's to make it even between her and Austin.

When Dallas was too little to be an asshole, she enjoyed carrying him around to show him off and reading him bedtime stories. He was a cute baby.

Loves bracelets but has MAD sensory issues so she cant keep them on for lobg periods of time or she'll keep adjusting them and rubbing her wrist raw bcs its uncomfortable from all the shifting.

She cant wear fake metal earrings she's allergic (real)

She thinks Springfield IL is REALLYY annoying.

Thinks babies are the cutest thing ever. She's also good w kids so sidegig#2 our girls a babysitter.

Loves scented candles and has a huge hoard of them.

Knowing Renee we can safely assume that your chances of being called "baby" by her get very big just by meeting her. So I'd say realistically you'd have to pay for a meet and greet and use all your hope and luck to get her to call you that (she probably would, it's Renee). Now you can always make her fall in love with you by looking confused at her shows, then she'll call you baby for the rest of your lives :)

I want a fic where Chris was in Raccoon City and with Leon the whole time, things go as usual, obviously they woulda fallen in love that part’s obvious from the get go, but instead of Leon and Sherry getting picked up by the GOV afterwards, Leon made a beeline for his parents (as long as it’s an AU where he has a good relationship with them) and calls Chris to tell him the GOV WILL find them soon (maybe not a call-call cause… well the GOV is ALWAYS listening in…) and where he can find them and Chris hightails it over there while making arrangements to get them all out of the US, while Leon’s dad is confused about the sudden kid in their home and how the FUCK Leon survived a nuclear reactor meltdown but maybe that’s why the kid is with him cause she was all he was able to save, while his mom is just pretending none of this is happening and happily spoiling Sherry like she’s any neighborhood kid wandered into her kitchen and Leon basically decompresses by packing a bag of what little clothes and such he still had at his parents apartment, and he gave Sherry a stuffed bear he had in the closet from his childhood (🥺 she gets really attached to Sargent Fluffy) and finally Leon just sorta collapses on the couch a few hours after they get there and doesnt move for like three hours straight while his dad tries to figure out if he’s okay and Sherry is the only one who could get him out of it when she crawls onto the couch beside him and hugs him and asks him to come back cause she still needs him, and he snaps out of it and goes back into guard mode, following her around constantly and playing dutiful dad/big bro while she gets spoiled by her new grandma and cautiously accepts new grandpa’s attention, and I just need this.

When Chris and Jill (their ride out of the country) get there on day two, Leon cries when he has to tell his mom he’s probably not coming back to the US for a long time, but once he’s out he might be able to contact them more, and Sherry is sad to say bye, and Chris is like ‘lmao awkward’ and he feels bad about having to move them along but he needs to pick up his sister on some weird ass island she’s on now, and Leon is really arguing with his mom that he can’t tell her WHY he has to leave cause that’ll make shit hard for her too, and his dad has to convince her that’s really how Witness Protection works and doesn’t ask questions but they ask if Sherry is their grandbaby now and Sherry holds her breath while waiting for Leon to answer and Leon asks if she’d like that and she says yes so now she’s his baby and they get to leave the cpu try with Chris and Jill and not be recruited into some bullshit and Leon gets to sit at home learning to knit while watching his kiddo play in between missions with his new beau at BSAA and one day Claire comes home with Alice, another Umbrella project she found and some more kids, and they all live happily ever after.

Aaron was very protective of you, and it made him realize how much he actually loved you. Little did he know that you loved him just as much.

When you first started dating him, he wanted the best for you. He wanted to treat you like a princess, someone he wanted to spoil, but also someone you could go to, his shoulder there for you to cry on.

You had been going strong for almost a year, and everyone from the BAU team, to your family supported you along the way. Nothing came in the way of your budding relationship.

Until Aaron was being targeted.

You didn’t know much of it but you worried for him and his son Jack. After Foyet years ago, you’d think he would’ve had a break from everything, just for a bit. But that’s what being an FBI agent consisted of.

You were a bit upset that Aaron didn’t tell you anything about it, but it all eased when he finally sat you down in the living room of his house and talked to you about what was going on.

“I’ve been targeted by a criminal in the past that I put away.”

“Is it bad?”

Aaron nodded disapprovingly. “It’s really bad.”

You sighed in response, already knowing what it would mean. Protective detail at every perimeter of Aaron’s house, as well as yours. Not being able to stay out as late to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

“I know, Y/N, and I’m sorry. I really am.”

He then took your hands and held them, rubbing his thumbs against your knuckles. “There’s something I need to tell you. And you’re not gonna like it, you’re probably gonna try to protest it, but there’s not much I can do.”

“What is it?” you asked.

“I don’t want to put you through so much trouble. I don’t want you to be caught up in the middle of everything. But you deserve better.”

“Aaron, what are you saying?”

“We can’t be together if I’m being targeted like this.” He said finally.

You weren’t sure if you heard that correctly.

Was Aaron... breaking up with you?

“What?” you whispered, already feeling hot tears forming.

“Y/N, it’s not safe for you to be with me while all of this is going on. Lord knows what can happen. God forbid you get hurt because of my job.”

The tears were falling down. Heavy at that. You didn’t want to leave him. You kept each other safe, and things like this didn’t change anything. Aaron was crying too, he loved you so much and he hated that he had to do this.

“Aaron, what if you get hurt?” you sniffled. “I... I wouldn’t know and it would pain me forever.”

There was nothing physically wrong with what he was wearing, in all honesty, you thought Aaron looked hot in whatever he wore. It was just that you didn’t want it to feel like he was going to have to go into work at any moment. His being a unit chief meant that he always spent longer hours at the BAU than the rest of his team, and it was draining for you. You understood that he had to carry some type of a weapon on him just in case, God forbid, he ran into a situation on his off days.

“You can’t at least wear blue jeans and a tshirt?” you asked.

“Those are for rare occasions. Plus I thought you liked my work attire?”

You rolled your eyes and went up to Aaron, your arms around his neck. “Of course I do. I admire all of your fancy ties and matching suits and shiny black dress shoes. They look amazing on you, and honestly, they kinda turn me on. But... it’s okay to loosen up sometimes, wear things outside of your work attire.” You then went on your tippy toes and whispered, “It’ll be easier to take off when it comes to our bedroom adventures.”

“Oh, you know just how to work around me.” Aaron sighed. He smiled as you were pulling off his tie. “Alright baby, you won. Let me go change.”

You planted a kiss on Aaron’s lips. “Thank you.”

Last night with Aaron was practically magical. Being intimate was something the two of you weren’t able to do a lot because of all these cases the BAU had to handle. But on those lucky days, you felt like you were in your own world.

You woke up on top of Aaron’s naked body, your bare legs intertwined with his strong, hair-ridden ones. Trying not to wake him up, you shifted your arms slightly so that it wasn’t around his neck and you pulled up the thick blanket up to your chin. You peered over to check the time. 6:30am.

“Good morning baby,” Aaron murmured, his eyes fluttering open. “You look so cozy.”

“Knowing that I had an amazing night with my boyfriend and slept well, I sure do.”

Aaron sat up and cradled your head. “I want to have another amazing night with you.” He then got on top of you and kissed your lips. To his pleasure, he moved from your lips to your neck, then to your chest and breasts.

“Aaron...” you moaned. “We have work, a duty to uphold.”

“What’s an extra 15 minutes in bed gonna do to us?” He hummed, kissing and biting at your inner thigh.

7:00am. After another round of steamy sex, you rolled out of Hotch’s arms and out of bed, snagging his robe and tiptoeing to the bathroom.

The marks on your neck and chest were the first thing you noticed when you approached the mirror. The last time he did that, Rossi had caught on quickly, making a little joke about it.

“Ohhh, looks like someone may ask you questions about those.” Aaron whispered, coming up behind you.

“Then I’ll tell Rossi you gave them to me.”

Aaron laughed, resting his chin on your shoulder. “You wouldn’t dare.”

Your phone in the bedroom rang and going to answer it, you saw that it was Penelope.

“Hello?”

“Y/N, baby, we’re about to start briefing. Where are you?”

Shit. You couldn’t just tell her you were at Aaron’s, word would spread quickly.

“I was just about to get in the shower.” That technically wasn’t a lie. Aaron came out of the bathroom and you motioned him to be quiet so Penelope didn’t hear him.

“Well you better make it fast, it’s a bad one.”

You groaned. “I’ll be there in 20.”

“Good. Have you heard from Hotch? I was gonna call him after you but he didn’t pick up his phone an hour ago.”

Turning to look at Aaron, you held in your laughter. Next you knew, he was by your side, kissing you.

You and Hotch had been dating for almost a year and a half now. Upon dating, the two of you had decided that it was best to not say anything to the rest of the team. Although you wanted everything to be kept under wraps, everyone wanted the two of you to be together though, and they picked up on the many interactions that you exchanged with each other. It had been easy to keep the relationship a secret, or at least the idea of either you or Hotch being in a romantic relationship, until now when you came into the BAU floor wearing a revealing dress and a full face of makeup.

“Well, well, well,” Morgan whistled. “Looks like someone’s going on a date.”

“Shut up Morgan, you’re just jealous it’s not with you.” you laughed. “I am not jealous at all. You do look really good though.” he responded, in which you blew him a kiss.

“You look so beautiful! Your date is definitely gonna fall head over heels for you.” JJ squealed, coming up to give you a hug. You knew exactly who she was talking about. Hotch. She was the only person you were able to confide in about your relationship with him even though you had practically become best friends with everyone on the team. “Thank you JJ.” you smiled.

“Who’s the lucky guy?” Reid asked.

“Or girl?” Penelope said.

You looked for some of your items from your desk, trying to avoid the team’s burning questions. “All I can say is that he’s... definitely older.”

“Well, you know what they say, the older the wiser.” Emily suggested.

“Yes, this man is very wise.” you replied, putting your badge and gun in your purse. Little did everyone know that they were talking highly of Hotch.

Rossi came out of his office. “Well, you’re not going on a date with me.”

“Unfortunately-“ you frowned, then paused mid sentence when your phone rang. You pulled it out and broke away from the group to make sure they couldn’t see the name.

“Sweetheart, you know I can’t wait to see how beautiful you look.” Hotch mused. You could tell he had a smile on his face. “Well babe, lucky for you, I’m about to leave. See you in 5 okay?” You replied.

“Of course.”

You hung up and dropped your phone in your bag, grabbing your coat. “Alright everyone, I’m off. Don’t miss me too much, I’m a big girl, I’ll be okay.”

“Walk you to the elevator?” JJ asked. You nodded sincerely. You then said your goodbyes to everyone and walked out with JJ.

“He’s lucky to be with a woman like you.”

“Yeah, I like to think that. I’m just glad he doesn’t treat me like a child, ya know. I may be the youngest here, but when we’re alone, everything’s just different.”

JJ lifted an eyebrow. “Ohhhh, I see.”

You playfully smacked her on the shoulder as the elevator door opened. “Girl stop. It’s more than that.” You walked into the elevator, blowing a kiss at JJ.

“Have fun!”

He will get attached if you make him feel like he’s actually worth something (totally not projecting here). That has however led to some toxic friendships/relationships. Loves inviting friends over for dinner/parties

Has a catahoula leopard dog/german shepherd mix named Beau, and a black cat named Misty and he loves them both so much.

Has a habit of forgetting that he already told a story, and then he tells it again with the same amount of enthusiasm he did the first time. His friends still listen though cuz they love him and it’s adorable.

I started a new job on Monday I really like it so far it’s up my alley and it’s not very hard I’m definitely getting the hang of it. Yess I can see this happening exactly in that way. These poor babies though 🥺🥺 they deserve so much better. Poor NY, the fact that he tried to live up to those impossible expectations and was hurt in some way all the time - it's soo sad I feel like crying for him 😭😭

They all gained so much trauma from their childhoods. I'm glad the others managed to get away from England sooner. Connie definitely still struggles to enjoy his hobbies because of that douchebag and to this day, Mass cannot bear to hear any of his brothers cry because it reminds me so much of their past. I don't care if Gov killed him or not, I will bring him back to life just to myself murder that ableist piece of shit for daring to call New Jersey that. NY and NJ would need so much therapy for how England treated them for these things specifically. Each of them would.

I'm so glad, for their sakes, that they all managed to rebel against him in the end. I hope none of them feel guilty by thinking England was so cruel to NY because he realised it wasn't worth his time trying to get something out of them thus diverting his focus solely to New York (they certainly thought something like this at one point at least, and knowing how the NE states behave, they would not have talked about this with anyone till it just burst from them). NY never even thought about blaming them for the same though.

PA is so sweet here and manages to take care of them all in this case :) He still shivers a little when he remembers how Congress dealt with England back then. As word about this got around to the others, they began to have more respect for him and were quite frightened of his full power too. Some of the newer states often underestimate him thanks to what I call his 'meeting demeanour' but the older ones remember just what Gov is capable of...

Thinking about your NY and his brothers

How do you think Gov would react when he learns how they were all treated by England? Like I'm pretty sure he would punch that bastard in the face (again) the next time they meet [I have a hc that while IDC handles meetings outside the country, any nation which visits talks to Gov. So now imagine an unknowing England coming up for some random reason recently after Gov discovers the way he used to treat the states.]

I actually have a hc that when NY was rescued from the prison (during the Rev. War), Gov (or Congress at the time) beat England to a bloody pulp and shanked that mf in the heart twice with a grin on his face, whilst PA dealt with York. Mass would’ve came, but PA being the awesome bf he is didn’t want Mass to have to see York like that, and told him to stay with NJ and CT so that he could mentally prepare himself and get stuff ready for if York needed medical help (he needed SO MUCH-).

In terms of how England treat NY and his older brothers (TW: abuse), I think that NY was the only one that England ever got brutally physical with. NY was his prized possession and England wanted him to be either EXACTLY like him, or at least something he could use a weapon for war. And so he would beat the living sh*t out of York, and call it "training". And NY thought it was, he thought "Oh this is training, I just need to get better so that I stop getting hurt and stop making Father angry!”. York constantly got beat both verbally and physically almost everyday. It was even worse cuz England hated it when York cried and hated that York was autistic and would even go so far as to say that he was beating the "illness" out of him.

With NJ, I think that England definitely belittled him for having Tourette’s Syndrome, and would sometimes yell at him for his tics. I feel like he also definitely called NJ a spawn of Satan whenever he pleased, and that definitely did a number on NJ’s self-esteem (my poor baby-). England would probably try to hit NJ, but that would just result in him nearly losing a finger. Though NJ did rebel and leave home as soon as he could (CT, and Mass stayed home to study and argue with England and be there to help NY if needed, though Mass would run to the little place where him and the other colonies hung out when the cries and whimpers of his little brother’s pain got too unbearable for him to hear).

Massachusetts was England’s first attempt at a war weapon, but Mass’s stubborn lovable nerdy ass rebelled before England could be anywhere near as harsh as he was with NY. Like I said before, Mass still stayed home, but sometimes everything got to much and he would run to the place where him and the other colonies hung out (and partially lived-)

England had Connecticut as a first attempt, and he failed miserably. Connecticut was too damn stubborn to allow himself to me morphed into what England wanted him to be, and was much more interested in books and boats and boat work, and Connie would spend most of his time around the sea, wishing he could be like the pirates and merchants that came and went. He barely spent enough time at home for England to do much other than yell at him and tell him how stupid his interests were and tell him that he was never gonna achieve anything in life (Parents, NEVER DO THIS IT WILL FVCK UP YOUR CHILD SO BADLY-)

Gov was already happy with being the one to kill England, but was even more happy when he found out how horrible England was. And he definitely showed that same smile he showed that day. PA was having flashbacks to that day but he stayed silent cuz of how terrifying it was 😭😭
