Anyone have some crochet suggestions?

My brother is having a baby in August. My mom made some crochet granny squares before she died (in 2010) and I saved one to incorporate into something for my niece.

What can I make that uses this single granny square? I was thinking some sort of lovey (I’m already knitting her a blanket) so it isn’t something she grows out of. It’s made from Caron Simply Soft so it’s easy to get a contrasting color in the same yarn
