I’m amused by this.

Aziraphale looks at Crowley, then to the ox rib in his hands, back at Crowley and then devours the ox rib.

Okay I hear you all with the sentiment that Crowley should grow his hair out again in Season 3 as his post-break up look. But I raise you this: his post-break up look is Bildad the Shuhite.

Can we talk about the amount of TRUST Aziraphale has in Crowley in this scene

Because ok, we know gluttony is a sin, and so does Aziraphale, but I want to talk about the fact that he has NO idea what it tastes like. Look here in the next gif. It's not just the fact that he's taken back by the offer or temptation, so to speak, but it's also scepticism.

He doesn't know what meat tastes like. For all he knows, it tastes awful, or makes you ill, or is harmful to angels and demons. After all, no respectable angel has yet tried earthly or "gross" matter yet, have they?

In the next one, we can particularly see that scepticism, but also RESOLUTION. He's made up his mind that he can't be tempted, so he isn't doing anything sinful. No, the expression he has on the next gif is VIGILANCE.

He's determined to try it but is still suspicious. And it's not like Crowley tried the ox rib himself to show Aziraphale it's safe like he did with the wine.

And it's not just the fact that it might taste bad, but it's also the fact that, as these two are SUPPOSED to be hereditary enemies, it might have also crossed Aziraphale's mind that the meat might have been poisoned, or has had at least some form of contamination.

But Aziraphale still pushes on. Despite his doubt, despite his wariness, he puts weight on his own judgement and decides to TRUST Crowley.

Here, we can very clearly see the reaction he has to food. The grimace he makes shows how he probably thinks it's not going to taste any good. He's almost certain that it's not going to be a pleasant experience and that it might just have been a joke or a prank the entire time.

But, as always, he realises Crowley would never do that to him.

Guys! You'll never believe what just happened... (or maybe you will)

So I was about to propose to @mrazfellco but then he said "hold that thought!" because he had a magic trick he wanted to show me.

At first, I was annoyed because, you know, he interrupted me when I was about to pour my heart out to him--especially when he pulled a turnip out of his top hat. I'm telling you guys, I was about ready to shoot lightning.

But then...do you know what this angel did? This angel turned the turnip into an engagement ring!

He was proposing to me! Hear that everyone? Aziraphale was proposing to me!

best. magic. trick. EVER.

And I said YES! Course I said yes.

Sure, I had a little malfunction first, due to the shock.

But I got over it, quick as anything, and said yes.

Then, @mrazfellco asked me what I originally wanted to talk about, since I did tell him I had something important to ask him--which I'd almost forgotten about in all my surprise and excitement at him proposing to me (still can't believe it, honestly)

Almost. (I could never completely forget about #my proposal to aziraphale. it's all I've been thinking about for the past two thousand years normal human lifespan)

So, I got down on one knee, showed him the rings I've been working so hard on the last few weeks, and asked my question.

And he said:

...then I may have malfunctioned again. And started crying.

But if you saw that, no you didn't.

Anyway, the important this is,:

HE SAID YES. I SAID YES. WE SAID YES.

Crowley like, never eats stuff when he and Aziraphale are on one of their meal dates, so I'm going to go ahead and headcanon that during one of their earlier meals he ordered but never actually ate his food, and Aziraphale was like "you gonna finish that? it's a shame to let such good food go to waste" and Crowley was like "have at it" so now every time they go out together Crowley orders something he knows Aziraphale will like and doesn't eat it on purpose so Aziraphale can have it
