This scene hits even harder if you think about the implications. He was probably having a whole identity crisis in the Forbidden Forest. This is the second time we've seen the things he's known his whole life be challenged, but with Hermione, it was a lot more positive, with him seeing value and worth in someone he didn't before. But with this, he's realising his dad, who he trusted and always tried to impress and craved love and attention from, lied to him, and that he never even actually cared about him. Especially after this moment, where Lucius literally tries to kill him.

I was cleaning up my art folder and came accros some old WIPs I'll probably never finish. Might as well dump 'em here ig

1st one is more AVPM sketches I did after my rewatch

for the 2dn one, I was going through a very brief nostalgia phase for harry potter due to rewatching AVPM, and was trying to draw my own take on wizard clothes. The nostlagia didnt last long enough for me to finish this apparently lol

3rd one is the 11th Doctor and River going on a date in matching outfits ✨(I still really like that idea I should finish it someday)

4th one is Team Dragonstone from ASOIAF 🔥❤ kinda criminal that I didn't post ANY art of Stannis when I was going though the ASOIAF brainrot considering how obsessed with this man I was lmao

13. Uhh i mean if we’re being honest, lauren and joey have probably improved the most since AVPM. listening to the granger danger in the show vs. tour versions gave me whiplash lol :/

18. Ooooh who would i meet? Uhh its either like an OG member like lauren, joey, or dylan, or just like mariah because she seems so cool and i can ask her about starkid and ALSO mean girls.

24. In general i think corey is DEFINITELY one of the most under apreciated. him as yaxley was my absolute favorite character in AVPS and frank pricely and Our Doors Are Open just like ascended my soul idk dude.

Also, specifically for his voice, brian holden. like have you listened to Apocalyptour’s Guys Like Potter?? amazing. show stopping.

in AVPS harry, hermione, ron, draco and yaxley all produce patronuses to get rid of the dementors and i just noticed that the partronuses are:

the green lantern, boba fett

the genie from aladdin and a stag

from this evidence we can say that one of the casters does not have a patronus- but who’s is who?

harry’s is most likely the stag as that is what his is officially, i think that ron’s personality likely suits the genie, draco’s most likely boba fett as he is technically an antagonist and i think yaxley’s is the green lantern.

therefore- hermione can’t cast a patronus in the ‘a very potter’ universe.

we know that she is a very clever witch as she is teased within the productions and as everyone else can cast this spell it’s almost guaranteed that she could too. does this mean that ‘a very potter’ hermione hasn’t experienced a memory happy enough to cast a patronus?

earlier in the production she says that her parents say that ‘sports are bad for teeth’ and is mocked throughout for looking like a night troll and not being able to draw. this alludes to hermione’s sheltered and probably lonely muggle upbringing without any friends made through extracurriculars and now that she’s arrived at hogwarts is still not happy. she also says that she knows she has the ‘lowest self-esteem of anyone at hogwarts’ and this is carried through avpm and avpsy, where hermione, even during ‘granger danger’ and being fought over is not content with herself + is even less sure during avpsy where she hides herself away and seeks approval and comfort in fanfiction and gilderoy.
