SPREADSHEET OF PALESTINIAN ESCAPE FUNDSā¼ļøTIME SENSITIVE
Operation Olive Branch is a continuously updating spreadsheet of Palestinian escape funds where progress towards their goals is being tracked. As of right now, there are over 100 funds listed there.
Any amount of money can make a difference. With their recent decision to bomb Rafah, the only remaining āsafeā territory in Gaza, Israel has forced Palestinians into a corner by giving them nowhere else to go. The international community has given Israel the ability to act with impunity - it is long past the point in time to rely on those in power to hold Israel to any standard of compassion.
Today, I want you to look at this document, choose a fund, contribute to it, and share it. The people in Rafah are living on borrowed time. Free Palestine.
#there a few funds that have met their goal which is heartening#I canāt express in words how fucking disgusted I am that itās come to this#the average joe will always have more compassion than those in power#but in a cost of living crisis the fact that it comes down to the general populace to give a single shit about Palestinian lives#the fury is paralysing and cold#free palestine#free Gaza#save rafah#palestine#mutual aid#fundraising

What is the Average Cost of House Cleaning Services in Canada?
When it comes to maintaining a clean and tidy home, many Canadians turn to professional house cleaning services to save time and ensure their living spaces are spotless. However, before hiring a cleaning service, it's essential to have a clear understanding of the average costs involved. In this article, we'll tell the typical pricing for house cleaning services in Canada and answer some common questions related to cleaning costs.
Average Cost of House Cleaning Services in Canada
The average cost of house cleaning services in Canada can vary depending on several factors like the Size of the House, Charge by the hour, or square footage. Because Every home is unique and has different cleaning needs.
On average, the cost of general house cleaning services is $25 to $90 per hour and $75 to $250 per week. Weekly rates are more cost-effective than hourly rates, maybe due to the consistency in work volume.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Ques: How much does a cleaning lady cost in Toronto?
The cost of hiring a cleaning lady, or a domestic cleaner, in Toronto, can vary depending on several factors. Generally, you can expect to pay between $20 to $25 per hour for cleaning services in Toronto. However, this rate may change depending on the scope of work, the size of your home, and whether you opt for a one-time cleaning or regular cleaning services.
It's essential to note that the rates for cleaning services in Toronto may be higher compared to smaller towns or rural areas due to the higher cost of living.
Ques: How much does a deep cleaning cost in Canada?
Deep cleaning, also known as spring cleaning, involves thorough cleaning of your entire home, including areas that are often overlooked during regular cleaning. The cost of deep cleaning in Canada can range from $200 to $500 or more, depending on the size of your home and the level of cleaning required. Deep cleaning typically includes tasks such as scrubbing floors, cleaning baseboards, and tackling built-up grime and dirt.
Keep in mind that the cost may vary from one cleaning company to another, so it's a good idea to obtain quotes from multiple providers to ensure you're getting the best value for your money.
Secondly, Deep Cleaning is a more thorough process with more attention paid to neglected areas that are usually missed in normal cleaning. For Example: with general cleaning, you would clean the exterior of your kitchen appliances.
When deep cleaning is performed, the exterior and interior of the items are cleaned. This takes more time and energy to do and requires more cleaning products. That's why deep cleaning costs more than general cleaning.
Ques: How much should I charge to clean a house in Ontario?
If you're considering offering house cleaning services as a professional cleaner in Ontario, it's important to set competitive pricing. On average, house cleaners in Ontario charge between $25 to $45 per hour for their services. However, your pricing should take into account factors such as your level of experience, the type of services you offer (regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, etc.), and your location within Ontario.
To stand out in the competitive cleaning industry, consider offering tailored packages and exceptional service quality. Building a positive reputation and providing excellent customer service can also justify charging at the higher end of the price range.
Ques: How much does a house cleaner make in Ontario?
If you're considering a career as a house cleaner in Ontario, you might wonder about the earning potential. The income of a house cleaner in Ontario can vary widely depending on factors such as the number of clients, the number of hours worked, and the rates charged. On average, a full-time house cleaner in Ontario can earn anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 per year.
However, some house cleaners with a strong client base and a good reputation can earn significantly more. Offering specialized services, such as eco-friendly cleaning or pet-friendly cleaning, can also command higher rates.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the average cost of house cleaning services in Canada varies based on factors like location, the scope of work, and the level of cleaning required. So that's why if you're looking to hire a cleaning service, it's important to research local pricing trends and choose a provider or set rates that align with your needs and budget.

this isn't an indirect to anybody and i don't want to start any fights BUT
if you genuinely think dan is being out of touch/hypocritical/whatever for being politically left wing and also having money/privilege, please read this
this is exactly the same as saying that men can't be feminists, white ppl can't be antiracist etc. just bc you're privileged by a system it doesn't mean you can't criticize it. in fact, you should criticize it, bc 1- ppl in power are more likely to listen to you and actually change something and 2- the more you educate ppl about the problems, the more ppl join the cause
also, when we think about who really benefits from capitalism, it's not ppl like dan and phil. if they stopped working tomorrow, they wouldn't have infinite money that they don't ever have to think about for the rest of their lives. they don't have an amount of money that could solve world hunger, climate change, poverty and every other fucking problem
you know who does? billionaires.
of course having money, even if it's not billions, makes you comfortable under capitalism. but if you have that, you see that other ppl don't, and you wish that everyone had access to what you have, you're gonna criticize capitalism. you're gonna hate billionaires that hoard wealth. you're gonna talk about your left wing politics
the real horror is ppl who don't want to lift a finger to the status quo
#also#most ppl don't understand how much a billion is#so quick math lesson:#the average cost of a mansion is $2 million#a billion dollars#IS 500 TIMES THAT#you can buy 500 mansions with ONE billion dollars#elon musk is worth 285 million.#that's 140 THOUSAND MANSIONS#not 140#140000#dnp own ONE house#and i assume it's not a mansion#so like#you're fighting against the wrong ppl here#dan and phil#dnp#dan howell#phil lester

here's the cost of living breakdown for Alabama, one of the least expensive states in the country to live it. annual income requirement to achieve "barely not struggling" (that's what "living wage" means, it means "how much money you have to earn to not be struggling financially") by the standards of MIT are the bottom row.
the website SmartAsset applied the 50/30/20 budget rule to this data from MIT to calculate how much it would take for someone to live comfortably (ie, above bare minimum "living wage") in each state and concluded it takes a minimum of 78k for a single adult in West Virginia, the cheapest state in the country.
standard disclaimer that I have personally never made anything near a living wage in my life, much less a comfortable wage, and am deeply in medical debt and so disabled I can't stand for more than a few hours a day. i just think it's important that other Americans are fully aware of just how poor they really are, and what "wealth" actually means in vast regions of the country. inflation and housing price increases have been so rapid, and the percentage of young adults managing their own households has dropped so significantly in the past twenty years (these things are related), that 90% of this website userbase is just completely unaware of what anything costs, and this isn't good for your financial literacy or ability to take care of yourselves.
if you disagree with these numbers please email MIT directly, I did not gather or compile this data. and cannot respond to your feedback about it.
#money#reminder: the average emergency costs $2000-3000 per person#if you are constantly worried about what will happen to your finances if you have to repair your car or go to the ER#you are definitionally not making a living wage#if you cannot save any money due to spending all of it on necessities you are not making a living wage#if you are juggling medical debt or living expenses on credit cards you are not making a living wage

no, but really, we need to talk about the casual objectification that has become the fallback discourse of the internet: if you're pretty and dressed nicely, you're a slut. and if you're even vaguely outside of their body standard, you're fucking disgusting.
too-frequently, people position sex workers as being "the problem". they sneer you're addicted to pornography, you don't know what a real woman looks like. but real women are in pornography. the real bodies on display are not the issue here: the issue is that other people feel extremely confident when commenting on someone's physique.
2000's super-thin is slowly worming its way back into the public ideal. recently i saw someone get told to "go for a run", despite the fact she was on the thinner side of average. not that it would ever be appropriate to say that: but it's kind of like sticker shock when you see it. people think that is fat? holy shit. do they just have no idea about things?
but what are you going to do about it? that's the problem, right. because chances are - you're a normal person. we can say normalize carrying fat on your body, but we are not the billion-dollar diet industry. we are not the billion-dollar fashion industry. we are just, like. people. who are trying to make content on the internet, without being treated shittily.
as someone who has been on both sides of things: you are treated better when you are thin and pretty. this is statistically correct. i am not saying that you cannot be bullied for being thin; i'm saying there are objective institutional biases against certain bodytypes. there are videos of men and women who lost weight all saying: i now know for a fact exactly how much worse you're treated. in the comments, some asshole inevitably says something akin to you deserved to be dehumanized when you were fat.
which means that ... the easiest thing to do is be pretty and thin. it is the path of least resistance, because of course it is, because any time you post a picture of yourself without a thigh gap, someone immediately comments something like you need to try a diet.
the other half is also dehumanizing though, huh, just in a different way. when i put on makeup and nice clothes, i am told i slept my way to the top as a professional. do you know how many women in STEM have told me they purposefully dress to "unimpress" because they already struggle to be taken seriously and if they're ever considered pretty - it for some reason takes away from their authority.
so they make it seem like it's your fault. you, existing in a body - it's your fault! if you didn't want shitty comments, don't have a body. they position us against each other like chess pieces; vying for male attention we don't even need.
and i can be an authority on this unless you think i'm fat and unattractive. when i am pretty and thin, i'm an activist. when i am just a normal person who makes a good point: i am immediately dismissed. nobody fucking believes you if you're not seen as attractive. you literally lose value. you cease to exist.
but the whole time, it feels like - is anyone actually grounded the fuck in reality? the line of "pretty and thin" keeps shifting. nobody seems to understand what "a normal weight" even looks like, because it's not something that exists - you cannot tell a person's health by looking at their body. even if you think you could tell that, even if you're sure a person is dangerously overweight - people are not your dolls. they do not need to be dressed up or displayed properly to soothe your aesthetics. you aren't concerned for them, you're stealing their agency. you don't get to say if they're "allowed" to take pictures and post them on the internet - you don't get to tell them how to exist.
people hide behind "the obesity epidemic" without any actual qualifications. they crow things about "normalizing unhealthiness".
but it's bullshit. i have visible abs. there is a pair of parallel lines on my body, even when i'm relaxed; where my obliques meet my abdominal wall. i am proud of this because it means i'm strong, because i overcame an eating disorder only to be ripped as fuck. it is genetic and physical luck that i even get any definition, i'm pleased as punch.
but it does mean that my abdominal wall sticks out a little bit. the other day i posted a video of myself dancing, and, for a moment, my shirt slipped. you could see a little bit of my stomach. i was cartwheeling to the floor. moments before this, i'd had my foot over my head.
a guy slid into my DMs. a row of vomiting emojis prefaced: you should really lose some weight before you think about dancing.
i stared at it for a long time. there was a time when i would have been triggered by this, where it would have encouraged me to starve myself. i would have ignored the fact i'm flexible, agile, good at jumping: i would have lost the weight for a stranger's passing comment. i would have found myself and my body fucking disgusting.
and for what? to please what? because why? so that he can exist in this world without an unchallenged eyeball? what would my self-hatred even accomplish? usually i write paragraphs. obviously. on this particular occasion, in this body i've been at war with for ages: i just felt exhausted.
it shouldn't be even worth saying. it shouldn't be hard to explain. all of this emotional turmoil when he cannot even comprehend the most basic truth: i am not an object on display for him.
#spilled ink#writeblr#warm up#like if im getting fatshamed. babe......... wake up#is there fat on my body? yes :)#btw this behavior wouldn't be okay even if I WAS overweight!!! that is my point!!!#it is both that people have no idea what weight is supposed to look like#and even if they DID... they do not seem to understand that PEOPLE ARE NOT DOLLS#YOU DO NOT GET TO TELL THEM HOW TO EXIST#if you respond anything akin to ''but raquel there IS an obesity epidemic''#you're blocked and reported.#go fucking DONATE TO A FOOD BANK THEN. volunteer in a food desert. start a free fitness program#GO GET A DEGREE AS A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL AND PRACTICE IN NUTRITION IN UNDERPRIVILEDGED LOCATIONS#FIGURE OUT HOW TO LOWER FOOD COSTS. PROVIDE ACTUAL FREE ACCESS TO OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES#FIGURE OUT HOW TO TEACH PEOPLE HEALTHY CHOICE MAKING WHILE ALSO LOWERING THE COST OF MEALS.#THE AVERAGE GROCERY BILL OF THE AMERICAN CITIZEN HAS QUADRUPILED IN THE LAST YEAR.#SHUT. THE FUCK. UP!!!!!!!!!#you don't want to help these people!!!!!#you want to bully them but still feel like a good person!#you want to be justified in your hatred of an entire CLASS of people!!!#you don't give a fuck about how it makes them feel!!!!#you care ONLY about whether or not YOU get to VIRTUE SIGNAL that YOURE so thin and pretty!!!!#it is BECAUSE of people like you#and the fact you tolerate fatphobia - BECAUSE of that normalization. that men like the one who called me fat#feel like they can get away with it.#bc there's a line for you where you WOULD be okay with it. where if i WASNT thin you'd be okay with it.#which means the line can always be pushed in a certain direction. and it's always going to appeal to male aesthetics.#''well you didn't deserve it'' maybe fucking NOBODY does babe. maybe we should just all agree not to comment on ppls bodies!!

Chilchuck analysis speedrun: As a hardworking half-foot who grew up poor and discriminated against and had his gullibility taken advantage of multiple times in his early adventuring days, Chilchuck thinks optimism is a dangerous flaw. Heās stressed and strict all the time because his job is noticing details like traps that could get everyone killed before anyone knows it, he takes the lives of everyone to be on his shoulders, and with the way he speaks about it that probably partly reflects how he felt about taking it upon himself to provide for his family too. His lifeās always been pretty centered around work and has become even moreso now that his wife left and everyone is independent, and due to past events heās very iffy with bonding with coworkers. He thinks feelings and job are a disaster mix. Like with his wife or with parties hiring him as sacrifice, being open or having good faith is vulnerability which can get you hurt, so he processes and shows all his stress as anger instead of worry. Doing strict dieting probably isnāt helping the irritability what with hunger, and on top of being a hunger suppressant alcohol might be the main stress reliever he has.
His grey hairs are so earned

not commenting on that post about the AIDS retroviral injection directly but people here (again) don't totally understand the staggering cost of R&D for any medicine that successfully makes it to market, nor that there are government programs and programs run by the manufacturers themselves that will cover the cost of these drugs and ensure that the companies that produce them don't all go, you know, bankrupt

May I inquire as to where you found those dishes? They're lovely!
Everything I posted is either secondhand or something I made myself, so I can't be of much use. The plates are Sakura Galaxy pattern, if that helps you find them, and they also did white and green as well as the blue that I have. They're no longer made but I think maybe Target carried them once?

NOT wading into american politics discussion IM NOT IM NOT but your basic problem is that no one fucking understands a thing about the economy even slightly. they all voted against the incumbent party bc they had inflation rise during their term, meaning they voted for Mister Tariffs. this is because they do not know what the word tariffs means nor do they know how inflation happens. I know Iām preaching to the choir but please god please please learn about money this is so important. I hate this system too but my GOD if you donāt learn about it You Will Be Scammed By Your Leaders and you wonāt know why.
#BEGGING the average person to learn about the economy in the most basic terms#I have had to explain to multiple people in my life what bonds are and how superannuation works. LEARN ABOUT MONEY#and btw itās absolutely because of inflation. the average independent american voter doesnāt give a shit about minorities and cares#exclusively for the cost of living#and they have no clue what affects the cost of living#I have a fun hint for you: itās NOT THE FUCKING PRESIDENT UNLESS HE DOES TARIFFS!!!!!!!

Palo and Tigran standing casually in place to provide an outfit reference.
They are wearing the most typical day to day clothing for Galenii monks. This consists of three main parts:
-A simple, ankle-length sleeveless robe (white in initiate monks and black in the fully initiated). -A dark woolen cloak, which doubles as a blanket. This cloak is the foundational item of clothing throughout much of Imperial Wardin as a whole, and worn by all social classes. They tend to be cut shorter and highly decorative in the upper classes, serving only the practical purpose of shielding the arms from the sun. Poor laborers may wear only the cloak and a loincloth and nothing else. In the case of Galenii monks, it is standardized, simple, and dark blue-gray. -The sash. This is a very long scarf that is the primary visual signifier of a Galenii monk. Its open ends drape down the front side of the body and are tied at the chest. It is slung over the shoulders and hangs in a loop around the back. These sashes are dyed an expensive royal blue, indicating the significance and relative esteemed status of this religious order.
Additional elements:
-The sign of the horns: a small iron pin used to fasten the cloak. This is the symbol of the Lunar Face Of God (the specific aspect to which the Galenii are devoted, which is primarily associated with fertility and the cycles of sacrifice and rebirth). This is very common among monks but not standardized wear. Galenii priests wear the sign of the triple horns (though more commonly as an amulet).
-Ear piercings: Galenii monks and priests wear thick earrings of dark meteoric iron and stretch their earlobes. One is added to each ear for each year of the initiatory process. Palo is a year in, and Tigran is fully initiated and has five bands per ear. Body modification is exceptionally rare in Imperial Wardi culture, largely in relation to taboos surrounding body integrity. The exception here is done with great significance and care- these earrings can be made only with true meteoric iron, considered to be the blood of God Itself. Permanently marking their bodies with this metal signifies this priesthood's integral connection to maintaining the continual cycle of sacrifice/rebirth that is believed to keep God's domain stable, and binds them to this role.
-Sandals: usually very simple in construction. Monks are often expected to go barefoot, but the cities are quite dirty so most prefer to avoid this if possible.
-Ceremonial dagger: a sign of a fully initiated monk. It is curved and its sheath is decorated with a tuft of lion's mane (a signal of the Galenii order's close connection to the Odonii order). Most of its uses are ceremonial, but it will be periodically used to perform animal sacrifices. A smaller razor blade is kept in the home for personal bloodletting.
-Hair: Fully initiated monks shave their heads, while those in the process of initiation have relative freedom with hair dressing. Palo is wearing his hair in a single braid tucked around the front. Broadly speaking, braiding the hair is associated with female beauty standards throughout much of Imperial Wardin (though generally in two braids). There is no cultural convention Against men doing so, but it is regarded as mildly effeminate (particularly in the south and southeast).
-Lore Friendly Sunglasses: Palo has photosensitive epilepsy. No effective treatments for epilepsy exist in the setting (most 'treatments' in Imperial Wardin are alchemical in nature, ie: ambiguously helpful at best or literal poison at worst), but understanding of the Nature of epilepsy as a neurological disorder is relatively accurate, and the concept of photosensitivity is loosely understood (though not with great accuracy, it's assumed to be caused by light in General). Palo had this pair of (VERY expensive) sunglasses commissioned as a youth, which Do slightly reduce the frequency of his seizures. Devastatingly stylish as they may be, his glasses do not offer much visual clarity so he only wears them in bright conditions.
#Am working on the dreaded Art Fight References#Also height comparison. Palo looks taller than he is because he's skinny as fuck and next to a 4'9'' guy. But he's 5'10''#Which is above average height for the setting (average man is probably 5'6''-7'') but not huge#I kind of need to reintroduce these guys because I made the earliest posts about them right around when I started actually writing#and a lot of their background lore has changed.#Namely their upbringings- most of the cast of the White Calf are stupid wealthy Imperial Wardi elites and I needed these guys to be like...#Normal people.#Tigran is still from a branch of a family that is wealthy in distant Ubibi but his specific branch is poor agricultural laborers living#around the lower Brilla river next to Wardin (city)#Palo is still better off but not crazy rich- his family were glass workers and traders out of Godsmouth and#would be considered middle class. Wealthy enough for occasional extravagances like sunglasses but nothing ridiculous#Most of the post-White Calf era stuff is now outdated too#AND ON ANOTHER TANGENT- most sun protective eyewear in this part of the setting is less 'elegant' (affordable sunglasses would#be mostly sheets of hammered bronze with punctured holes)#There is relatively sophisticated eyewear produced in Bur and Imperial Wardin (including some actual moderately useful glasses for#correcting visual impairment) but good pairs are prohibitively expensive and made by dedicated craft workers#Palo's pair would have cost about a year of his father's wages#palo apolynnon#tigran otto#the white calf

it is important to me that you understand that:
junko has no luck (and when she does, it's bad luck)
nagito has fantastic luck, but it always comes at a cost - for every moment of good luck, there is also a moment of bad luck; the higher the good luck he wants, the greater the sacrifice of bad luck he needs first (see case 5)
izuru has luck with no cost, which makes his luck better than nagito's; he's the inverse of junko, but his luck is downloaded, fake, contrived (like the rest of his talent is)
this must be combined with:
junko can calculate and anticipate anything provided she has access to the right dataset (the better she knows someone/something, the better she can manipulate them/it - this extends to talent as well; the more data she has on how someone's talent functions, the better she can imitate it, which is why she can't imitate ryota's animation as completely in the way that she wants (different talents have different rates in terms of how much she needs to analyze them, though))
nagito can deduce but he cannot mimic; he dabbles in manipulation, but he is much more of a servant to someone else's goals, which means his analysis is always in service to someone else (kyoko is similar but not quite the same; kyoko can get to the point of deducing fast enough to prevent things, which is a lot more similar to junko's analysis, just used in a different way; kyoko's more straight forward than junko is, which is why deduce and not analyze)
izuru's analysis functions the same as junko's does, except that he doesn't need to analyze someone else's talent to mimic it; he has had talent downloaded straight into him like neo in the matrix; if he wants more talents than the ones he already has, he's gonna need them downloaded again, probably
as a result:
junko's weakness is luck and incomplete data sets; an incomplete (or wrong) data set leads to a miscalculation, and when something relies on luck and cannot be precalculated or predicted, then junko falls. she relies hard on her analysis, which gives her a blind spot. (junko, however, is aware of this. that's why she has both nagito and izuru on deck; in the hope calculation that their luck, correctly used, will allow her to predict things that happen by chance as well)
nagito's weakness is his reliance on his luck. he believes in his luck. his luck will take care of him. he can't control how it works, and he can't control how the bad luck will happen or who it will happen to, but he doesn't need to analyze something for his luck to get him out of it (and the smaller the chance that something will happen, the more likely it will happen to him; his luck works on an inverse to everyone else's, basically, so what's the point of predicting things on what is most likely to happen when, for him, it will probably be the other way around)
izuru could cover his incomplete data sets with his luck, but tends to rely so completely on his luck to cover his ass that he stops analyzing and leaves himself open there - he should be the strongest of the two, but really tends to leave him with more weaknesses until he figures out how to use the two in conjunction; something junko has figured out but cannot do because her luck is not her own
#musings#danganronpa#junko enoshima#nagito komaeda#izuru kamukura#this is how i write them in#dr1 end rewrite fic#but also this is how i write nagito's luck#it's an inverse of an average person's luck; and for every good luck there is a cost re: bad luck#he can control this to an extent in terms of he can make the chance of something /for a normal person/ smaller /and thus give it greater#luck for him/ (see russian roulette in case 4)#but there is ALWAYS a cost#izuru's only been around for a year; he's still learning how to all the things#hajime is slightly better at this sort of thing#but izuru runs so much on the vibes of how something should happen that he forgets that bad vibes are still a thing#(izuru can be /overwhelmed/)

"Jason not arguing/compromising in this situation is OOC because his stress response is fight" okay but stress response is context dependent, both environmental context (nature of the threat) and hormonal context (ie amount of cortisol currently in the body at that moment). And also the difference between fawn (aka the response used in negociation) and the other three stress responses (fight flight and freeze) is that fawn is a much higher response that requires higher cognitive function, social cognition etc. (which he has a looot of considering his life story), but also takes more time, so while Jason's immediate bodily reaction could be to gear up for an argument, he also completely has the abilities to evaluate that this is not the best strategy for his goals, especially since, while he is a very emotional character, he does also have impulse control and can be very (very very very) patient with his strategies (that man has some incredible impressive levels of inhibition sometimes, seriously utrh!jason wtf). And also people have the ability to learn, both in terms of complex reasoning, simple pathways and on a biological level, it's also very possible that after being stuck on fight mode for so long and getting hit after hit after hit (being caretaker for his mom and then himself as a little kid in a classist and violent environment, his mom's death, malnutrition, the general stress of being on the streets, M'a gunn, (skipping on Robin because of meta stuff to stick to the things everybody would agree are important stressors), his dad's death, exposed vey closely to sexual violence at 15 (at oldest, not even getting into the csa hc he already has sexual trauma), exposed to direct violent death at 15, being betrayed and sold out (does that count as trafficking?) by his biological mother (whomst he had attached himself to), being beaten + very brutally murdered, digging himself out of his fucking grave, getting hit by a fucking car (talk about overkill) being in the streets catatonic and still fighting, being in the league catatonic and still fighting, waking up to your life having been extraordinarily upheavaled, being told "you remain unavenged" and then pushed off a fucking cliff (even ignoring the brutality of that fucked up kiss because my talia is not a rapist), being sent to teachers and having (from his pov) to kill said teachers, to honestly all of utrh especially the final confrontation ending with a near death experience.... I mean, wouldn't you be tired? Even just cutting it off at utrh, wouldn't you be tired of fight mode? Jason's resilience is incredible, but resilience is neither a personality trait nor an infinity resource, you electrocute a dog often enough and it stops trying to jump out. And do I have to say anything, from a biological pov, psychological pov, from any pov really, about the events of Gotham War and The Man who Stopped Laughing? Because Bruce literally rewrote Jason's dna (which makes no fucking sense but whatever) to modify his stress response, he was quite literally forced on freeze mode, and Joker got him functional by rewriting those extreme amounts of stress as funny. At this point what makes the most sense is for Jason's stress response to be painful, uncontrollable bursts of laughter. I'm sorry if this sounds aggressive, I just really really like talking about psychology applied to character analysis and I'm not trying to be patronizing or anything, I just thought "hey I don't quite agree with that and that's an interesting conversation" and then the brain bees took over
#look i fully understand that these are fictional characters#and that they will always be simpler and more rigid than actual humans#and that as such their actions will tend to be explained by their values mbti zodiac sign etc. far more than the average person#where that limit lies is a different evaluation for everybody and that's perfectly fine#but for me personally an understanding of a character so rigid that it doesn't allow for any growth or evolution just isn't interesting#and from a scientific standpoint it also weirds me out#but well it's batman so i'm always weirded out by psychology#jason todd#dc#red hood#it's funny how I'm always defending his right to have character depth#when he barely even has character lol#i agree that he needs consistency#just not at the cost of becoming a caricature or just simply stuck

did some minor customization to one of my neutral chao figures so cream could have cheese with her if anyone cares
#sorry the lighting in this picture is not very good its the middle of the night so i cant just use my window for good lighting#anyway. to be honest with how small cream is compared to the average sonic figure despite being the same price as all the others#they should have had her come with cheese as her accessory to make up for it#but then again a chao costs the same amount as mini figures of other characters so they would probably never consider that#also im once again trying to rearrange my sonic shelf. things are looking slightly less chaotic but im still not satisfied#so will probably mess with it some more#my main issue i have is i can never decide How exactly i want to arrange things#like do i wanna arrange them based on what kind of item it is. what character it is. the specific media its based on.#idk . i have so much stuff that i never know how to arrange it all#little guy images

Aro culture is buying pride merch with the agender flag because people always forget about us
.
#Anonymous#aro culture is#aro#aromantic#actually aro#actually aromantic#ask#honestly i am always curious for widely available pride merch which demographics are more likely to be financially worth producing for#like. in the sense of 'if you could theoretically have infinite identities represented and every new identity who asked for a product had#a high quality image of their flag from which you could produce your product... which identities buy more?#i assume more well-known identities are... well. more accessible to the average person#but i've heard periodically that certain flags are hard to justify designing products for due to the cost analysis of design/production#versus the likelihood of them being bought#though i think that *primarily* effects small businesses in which you pre-order a certain amount of a product in order to sell#not made-to-order products#(science brain go brr)
