figured i should make an intro post even though i will probably forget about this blog in a few months.

hi. call me james. bodily 21 trans man. this is my sideblog to crawl into when the bucky shift get a little too intense. my canon is pretty much mcu-adjacent. i kin spiritually, and have for a very long time. 'kinning for fun' is not something that applies to me. dni if you feel weirdly about that or don't agree with it.

i'm in a serious romantic relationship with my steve rogers canonmate. always open to talking with steve kins or fictives; just know there will be no romantic interaction whatsoever and we are definitely not canonmates.

that being said, i'm always interested in chatting with (most) sourcemates, particularly other avengers - especially sam. i miss him a lot.

i do have a few other mcu kins (tony, vision & loki, specifically the TV show variant) so feel free to block or whatever you need to do if that bothers you.

anyways, speaking of cannibalism, wrt frey pies in particular, it just hit me that the rat cook song is not just a way for wyman to slyly telegraph what he did w/o any of his in-world foes noticing, it could also be his justification just as much as inspiration. let's look back at how we learned of the legend through bran:

so, in other words: 1) violating guest right is the most heinous of crimes and 2) if guest right is not violated then murder and even cannibalizing the murdered to feed to their own kin is a-ok so long as the motive is personal revenge. by giving guest gifts to the 3 frey envoys to end any guest rite bond asap and get to the killings, wyman not only gets just a feeling of moral superiority by at least not committing the same type of crime as the enemies he killed, he also ensured that his vengeance could be divinely sanctioned as a natural right correctly exercised, unlike how the rat cook did his. he learned his lessons from this northern legend and improved upon the actions of this nightfort cook accordingly. thing is, the justified right to vengeance has to be just an old gods thing, not fitting in with the seven (which house manderly had converted to 1000s of years ago back in the reach) as the christainity stand-in, which is just evidence of the depth of manderly northern assimilation and/or that old dark ways never entirely disappear, no matter the religion. wyman manderly can still worship the "new" gods with just as much urge toward old-fashioned bloody revenge as any old gods worshipping northman, not so different from his vassal ser bartimus in the wolf's den who bragged to davos that his ancestors were likely among those who once hung slavers' entrails in a heart tree as a bloody offering to the old gods.

HERE'S A THOUGHT~!

In the MCU, the Time Stone was found by the sorcerer Agamotto thousands of years ago.

So this dude, someone who was according to official papers was "a being" who was not human. And from the looks of it found the stone on earth.

Now here is my thought about this, what if this guy found the Time Stone in the Crystal Cave all those years ago. It would make sense for the crystals in the cave to have been affected by the time stone and have the properties of possible futures.

The Birth Place of Magic.

Agamotto might have taken the time stone but some of it's powers still remained there in the cave. Druids and other magic folk revere and fear the cave, cause if not careful one could go mad with all the possible outcomes of the future.

Merlin, long after Camelot, ends up back in the Crystal Cave and witnessing all the possibilities of the future. He learns much but also goes slightly mad for a time.

Then at some point he travels and finds Kamar-Taj. There he can feel the Time Stone but much more powerful then the cave. It calls to him, recognising Merlin as a worthy wielder or fellow kin.

Now I'm completely for the concept of Merlin being Magic itself and if Magic came to be in that cave, Merlin is a part of the time stone as we saw in the first episode of Merlin where he basically stopped time saving Gaius and slowing it down saving Arthur.

If the Infinity Stones were created by the Big Bang from 6 singularities, what if there was a 7th one.

Magic.

Diverse and capable of all 6 aspects of existance.

Making Merlin one of the very few to be capable of touching the stone itself, along with the other five.

Guys it’s officially 10 years since I first started watching doctor who. Bc it was the 50th anniversary and I’d never seen a full episode so I decided to watch all of it from the beginning lol. Not to sound grand or melodramatic or anything but it’s a v cool moment for me bc ever since then, 90% of my special interests have been retro tv shows that I almost certainly wouldn’t have thought of watching if I hadn’t started watching doctor who. So. Like at the risk of sounding ridiculous it was a bit of a turning point for me fjsjdjsj and it’s 10 years to the day!!!

So I recently kinfirmed Bucky, I don't know to much but I do know I within an AU in which the avengers made up after the civil war (for the most part) me and Steve were a couple too.

I know I nicknamed Peter 'Jumping Spider' because it seemed to fit his actual skillset better than the typical spider.

Loki also was mind controlled and had a redemption arc, me and him were buddies. I'm not completely sure f it aligns with the Loki series at all since I haven't watched it.

My name is Loki. I have four different timelines/canons at the moment and I wouldn't mind speaking to anyone who recognises me. I'd be very excited at the prospect, actually. My first timeline follows exact canon, except I survived Thanos. My second follows everything up to my attack on New York, where afterwards I helped rebuild the city after repenting and I was redeemed into an Avenger. My third follows the TVA/LOKI TV series. My fourth follows the What If, where I am king of the Frost Giants.

I dearly miss my Mobius, so he is a massive priority to me, so if you are a Mobius kin or fictive, I'd like you to know I am on my knees begging to speak to you again and be friends. I should mention I was also romantically involved with my Mobius, so if you were romantically involved with your Loki as well, please be in the age range of 14-17.

I also miss Thor, Tony, Natasha, Bruce and Valkyrie. I wouldn't mind seeing Sylvie or Hela at all either.
