sonic 3 was single-handedly the best video game movie ever made I cried twice leaving the theatre because I was so overwhelmed with how amazing it was people cheered for the post-credits scene I have never felt that way in a movie theatre ever

whatever you do don’t think about how shadow longs for the family that sonic has. how he saw how sonic reacted to almost losing tom and saw himself in that, how sonic gets to keep tom, but he doesn’t get to keep maria, or even gerald, who despite his flaws, was still his family. don’t think about shadow longing for just one friend, thinking that even though sonic forgave him that they can’t just be friends. don’t think about shadow alone in the world for weeks, months, years, just like sonic was, because he thinks he’s unloveable. don’t think about him teleporting to sonic’s house and watching through the window during one of their movie nights, fighting off the cold and pretending he’s there with them, even if just for a second. whatever you do just don’t think about the fact that right now, shadow is alone out there, wanting what sonic has, and sonic is with his family, missing a piece, something that he can’t name.

Moving To Canada

Hey guys, I'm finally starting to get my stuff together to prepare to move back to Canada. It's a very overwhelming process for me as I have c+ptsd and some of it surrounds my last move. Though I don't see moving back to Canada as a bad thing, but an escape from things where I am, I still have a lot of trauma from having to move where I currently am and it's kicking up the old anxiety. BUT, I am doing my best to slowly get to where I am ready to go.

I am however in need of money to move. Many things I need to have brought back to Canada and many of those things I'm unwilling to give up. Things I've had all my life, or I have a deep connection to as they are related to my late husband. SO! If you would like to help, I have just updated my shop with many new things that I debuted at Sonic Expo in Dallas 2024. You can buy these things on my Etsy, or if you want to help and would rather do a donation, I do have a Kofi. I will post both links. Imagine, after the events of the Sonic 3 movie, someone looking up the team who saved the world. They Google their question with baited breath, and then they see the team consisted of:

- A witty 14 year old with undiagnosed ADHD

- His twin brother(?), who could work at Hot Topic and can apparently dismantle a gun with one hand

- An autistic 10 year old who’s special interest is advanced weaponry and who may or may not have a pilot’s license

- The most angry and physically fit 12 year old you’ve ever seen

- A 6ft tall adult man with a fabulous mustache who has had beef with these children for actual years

I like the think the hedgehogs engage in the classic hedgehog courtship ritual (circling) but they don’t know that’s what they’re doing. They just mindlessly pace around someone they have feelings for.

My regular art style is so diff from the STH style that I’m having such a hard time drawing these stupid bobbleheaded animals 😭😭 this was the first sketch of DOZENS that was acceptable

My mind can't stop thinking about a Sonic role swap AU that switches around the roles of Sonic and Knuckles, mostly because of how interesting of an idea it sounds to have someone like Sonic, someone that likes exploring the world and going on adventures and stuff, being trapped on a small floating island, destined to protect the Master Emerald

I can't stop imagining Sonic trying his best to simply smile whenever Knuckles or anyone else that comes to visit Angel Island has to leave, not letting his loneliness be noticed by anyone around him. His heart yearns to be free, but he has a destiny to fulfill, has had one to fulfill almost his entire life up to that point.

So he stays on that little floating island, waiting for anyone to visit as he guards the Master Emerald, as he watches to world move past him while he's anchored to his destiny. Running through the same locations time and time again, hoping that if he somehow runs fast enough, that anchor will just... break. And set him free.
