Fanfic idea:

Camilla has a high school reunion and it's freaking out. Of course Luz, Vee, the kids that aren't just hers but are totaly partialy hers and their parents (who became Camilla's friends as well) all decide to help.

Thing is there is no high school reunion on the Boiling Isles cue to the Hagsquad deciding to create one and invite Camilla so she can pratice. It's completely based on a mix of Luz over enthusiastic movie-based ideas of what a school reunion is and Camilla freaking out anxiety visions of how it will be and not really close to reality. It's also very very chaotic.

Lilith: Okay, according to Camila now we choose someone, point out their failures, give them very little time to defend themselfs and later we choose a loser and send them to the ball pit of shame.

Eda: Fun. I'll start: Lili, your best friend is Hooty.

Lilith: That's not a failure! Hootifer is great!

Perry: No offense... but what even is that thing?

Eda: I think is for the best we don't know.

Liith: A FRIEND!

Darius: I think deep down we all know that Alador should be the one on the ball pit of shame.

Eda: Oh thanks, Rainstorm. I also could insult everyone here except for Raine, they are clearly doing great.

Darius: That's not the point, love birds, I'm sure you two could be really insulting if you wanted. But in the end Alador deserves it more.

Eda: He did marry Odalia.

Alador: Can I take a snack to the ball pit?

Lilith: Uh... I did not ask Camilla for the ball pit rules...

Eda: Ah, who cares? Take your snack.

Lilith: The balls could be hungry! And evil!

Darius: I vote we drop Alador there with the snack and find out. If anything happens we can take him out before the ball pit kills him.

Perry: My son says that humans put their babies into this stuff so it can't be that bad.

Raine: Wait. I'm pentagraming Luz... She said that as long as we don't pee in there is fine.

Alador: Uh... so how long am I supposed to be on this ball pit of shame?

Lilith: According to Camilla until you start loving yourself again.

Alador: Oh. I'll totaly need to pee before that!

Lilith: We can always just let you there until we finish the first ten minutes lunch break were we look at each other akwardly until we find some rebel act that will rekindle our bonds.

Although I'm not really sure if Alador would really play with Barbies at all, except when Odalia makes him play the boyfriend character with her (Darius doesn't let him touch his Barbies at all).

He'd be more into Legos as a kid since it involves building things. He would have been one of those adults that collect Legos but Odalia wouldn't let him "waste" money on "children's toys".

I hate how the crew wasted so much time developing unneeded and rushed shit and completely ignored things that needed to be touched. They had no shame in ignoring characters like, Emira, Amity, Gus, etc.

They wasted chunks of episodes trying to redeem Alador just so the fandom can be happy, (Y'all just like him cause you get to baby him over your ADHD or Autistic headcanons about him and cause you can ship him with Darius). Yet ignore things like Amity as a character outside of Lumity, or Emira. Emira is great and would have been a good example of a child losing their childhood cause they had to raise their siblings. Credit to the anon who brought this to my attention.

Wasted episodes trying to shove Huntlow in our faces, it was unnecessary and bland. They worked well as friends, it made no sense that they tried to add another Canon ship.

If those didn't happen, we would have gotten so much. I hate how Amity's dream of joining the Emperors Coven was shifted to something Odalia forced on her. She was shown being SO HAPPY over the thought of joining the coven and got rightfully mad over being humiliated in front of said coven. But noooo, she's Luz's girlfriend now she can't have a goal that doesn't involve her sweet potato!!!!

Advice to anyone wanting to make a piece of media, don't clog up the story with unnecessary bullshit to the point you neglect characters with potential to be great. ESPECIALLY if you know well that you won't have time for development of said thing(s).

I’m glad Dana answered my question about Ratador because my partner and I thought he was cut content of Odalia turning Alador into a rat out or rage or something. Turns out it was an inside joke about Alador’s t-rex pose (he’s so autistic coded, love this for him) looking like that of a rat & now he’s also Alador’s palisman.

Also congrats on the divorce, Alador! 🎉 💜

2 AM Aladarius headcanons because I miss them

Darius and Alador adopted Hunter when he returned to the Isles

Alador stays up at ungodly hours working on projects and Darius physically has to pick him up and bring him to bed

Alador tends to be REALLY oblivious to things, especially when it comes to messes. He only tracked mud in the house once and realized the severity of his mistake after Darius had scrubbed the floor for hours out of anxiety

OCD boyfriend x Autistic boyfriend

Darius tries to make an effort to get to know Alador's kids even though there's a ton of tension at first. Amity and Emira were very hesitant of him but eventually came around. Edric was just happy to have two loving dads and a new brother (especially after being surrounded by his sisters his entire life)

Alador can't cook for shit, so Darius handles most of the kitchen duties

Neither are huge on public displays of affection, but behind closed doors? *NSFW*

Alador isn't used to being touched and needs to warm up to it gradually, but thankfully Darius isn't either and has no problem taking things slow

With that said, once the awkward stage is over, touch becomes second nature to them and Alador realizes just how touch starved he had been for years

Darius is extremely conscious about his looks and Alador gives his honest opinion whether it's harsh or not, but never in a hurtful way. He's just blunt and Darius appreciates it more than simple compliments because he knows Alador is giving helpful feedback

They both start a new Abomination magic company called Delight Industries (which is just their two last names "Deamonne" and "Blight" smushed together)

Alador has a subtle but noticeable change in fashion because Darius helps him pick out his clothes in the morning

Both will still make occasional snide comments and competitive remarks, but it's all out of love and they both get a good laugh out of it

Darius struggles with anger issues and always immediately apologizes to Alador or their kids when he loses his temper

Eberwolf becomes the unofficial-offical auntie and frequently visits to bother Darius or help Alador with a project

Darius goes full on dad-mode when Emira and Edric bring home their partners for the first time

Alador can't get enough of the tender smooches and cuddles he gets from Darius

Alador has serious back problems from all his years slouching and standing up in his work shop, so Darius will always rub his back if he asks

Darius never lets anyone touch his hair, but Alador is the exception and he teaches him how to braid it

Despite being physically stronger and bigger, you best believe Darius isn't the dom in that relationship-

Alador falls asleep a lot at his desk and if Darius is too tired to bring him to bed, he'll wrap his cloak around Alador so he doesn't get cold and will then sleep on the arm chair next to him

where are all the 200k word post-day of unity fics where alador is going through a nasty and increasingly messy divorce and trying to help rebuild the boiling isles and also fixing his relationship with his kids but he's also struggling with having his own autonomy again and his own guilt over not being an actual father to his kids and he doesnt know who is outside of his responsibilities of work/family bcus he never had actual friends once he left school and once upon a time alador was the one to show darius there's more to life than what you can do for other people and now darius has the opportunity to help alador relearn the same thing and maybe together they can both rediscover what real love feels like again after years of bitterness

Okay a yap Abt Evelyn!!

The Evelyn on the right is from my fic can't we play pretend? Currently she is a baby but this is what she would look like when she's older.

This Evelyn is adopted. For a long time she wasn't sure what to do with her life. She wanted to follow the path of science like her parents but she wasn't interested in engineering or alchemy. People however are quite odd and interesting. So she studies anthropology (study of human societies and cultures. How humans develop and behave). In her free time she enjoys reading, math and designing. (Just a random fact Abt her she has a raccoon teddy). For most of her childhood Evelyn was non verbal. Even now that she is older she still doesn't like talking much and mostly only talks to those she's very close with. She is considered conventionally attractive but hates attention and crowds. She has long dark brown wavy hair and hazel eyes. Her favorite food is pumpkin (literally anything pumpkin she'll eat) and she is a picky eater. Besides from her parents the people she's closest with are Rapunzel, Lance, Quirin, Donella, Ulla, Adira Catalina and Nuru (she's also kids with some of Raps and Eugenes kids but I'll talk abt them in a separate post.) ofc she's still close with Varian and Hugos other friends but these are her favorites. Her last name is Ruddiger because Varian actually adopted her and custody was shared with Hugo once they got married. She enjoys winter because she gets to wear warmer fuzzier clothes. She gets scared easily by loud noises and hates the beach (she doesn't like the feeling of sand or the salty water.) Evelyn isn't very good at communicating her wants or needs usually just shrugging or muttering "I dunno" if she is asked a question. Her first word was mama. If I'm being honest this Evelyn is likely autistic. She is also aroace! (Yay aroace representation) Evelyn's goal is to uncover the secrets of the world.

Her personality is like Komi (Komi can't communicate), Yor forger, Alador blight, Aled/Issac (heart stopper), Coralline Jones, Hollyhock (Bojack Horsman) and Viktor (arcane)

The Evelyn on the left is my version of Varigos kid in the "cannon" universe. She is their biological child (pls don't ask)

Appearance wise Evelyn is fairly short and chubby with a round face and nose with lots of freckles (like her dad). She has blue and green heterochromia but she usually covers her green eye with her hair. She has medium length thick curly red hair with a stripe of green that she dyes. Like her mother she has several piercings an undercut and glasses (except she only needs hers for reading). This Evelyn is the royal herbologist (a person who studies plants and fungi to use for healing) similarly to her parents she has always been very passionate Abt it. Rapunzel makes most of her clothing for her but Hugo does help occasionally. Growing up Hugo and Varian tried sending her to a normal school but most of the subjects were too easy for her and she was considered a problematic student due to arguments with teachers and fights with students so eventually she had to be home schooled. She spends most of her time in forests or in her lab. Just like her parents when she's 18 she decides to go on a journey for a few months. Evelyn knows how to charm ppl she can be Very charming when she wants to but prefers to rely on acts of service and her brains. She is a head strong person but can sometimes come off as irritable or bossy. When she has a goal she focuses on it but she is still able to take time to enjoy the little things. Her favourite people (besides her parents) are Keira, Catalina, Eugene, Rapunzel (and some of their kids), Yong, Nuru, Quirin, adira, hector and Cassandra. She likes reptiles. Her favourite food is a tie between apples and cookies. She is very close with Olivia. She loves autumn. She was born after Varian and Hugo got married therefore has Hugo's last name. She's very protective of other people. Evelyn's goal is to help people while doing what she loves. (I'll prob make more coloured drawings of her in other outfits BC I have some ideas)

Her personality is like twilight sparkle, starlight glimmer, Connie (Steven universe), becky blackbell, Vi or maybe Caitlyn (arcane), princess Carolyn, Marcy wu and Amity blight. (I haven't watched MLP in years so this is off memory)

These two Evelyn's do not exist in the same universe. Let's just say it's not possible. But if somehow they did I think they would completely ignore each other. They would probably get along fine but neither of them would really be interested in the other. It's more likely they would pity each other then become besties or something.

I know that obviously Alador is not the biggest sufferer in Princess Luz AU but I do feel so bad for him anyway. Someone save that autistic gentleman from his wife

for further context to this ask (which is from rafi), last night rafi was like "what the Fuck has gone so wrong in this AU that alador is missing FINGERS??" and i was like "oh, nothing. literally everything is the same. except that he's been married to odalia for about four years longer than in the canon."

fwiw my thought was that alador did in fact lose them in a lab accident. which happened because 1) he's just as exhausted as in the canon and 2) he's spending even More time in the lab than he already did to avoid odalia. especially because the kids are all out of the house now, so he doesn't even have to pretend to be interested in being a decent dad. men who have not seen sunlight in months

the grimwalker alador lore this has spawned is Hilarious though. & i did fully bring it on myself. i can't firmly establish finger amputation as a Grimwalker Precedent and then get surprised when people make that connection.... I Guess....
