Six years ago I started losing my hair after my first round of chemotherapy. The #mohawk was to try and make it easier for my kids to see I wouldn’t give in to this disease, my warrior cut, making a bit of fun out of a very turbulent time. I remember it like it was yesterday. I felt like I’d done a round with #miketyson but I wasn’t out, I was just getting started. Ready for round two. Over the last six years it’s amazing what’s changed! And what hasn’t! We might get sad every now and then over things, but reality and life can be harsh and exciting too. Never forget to live it to it’s fullest. I’m as strong as ever, if not stronger than ever, I’m more positive than I’ve ever been in my life and that positivity is growing with every day that passes. You don’t know what’s around that corner, you just have to face it when it hits you. Dreaming of going back on the @montecristo_catamaran_tenerife What an amazing sunset trip this year. I’m just getting round to posting about my trip on this amazing catamaran. If you are in #Tenerife you have to try this cruise, it is amazing. We sailed out and spotted Pilot Whales and Dolphins. Living your dreams means exactly what it says. Go for it, don’t stop till you punch a hole in your new reality. My world was changed in an instant! One word - Cancer. That one little word changes your outlook on life instantly! I had to stop work there and then, with where my cancer was, it could have been the end. I also have this one little word to thank, yes thank you heard me right! I could have curled up in the corner and cried, but I dug deep and followed a dream I’d had since I was a child. A dream to write a novel! Throughout the harsh treatment, hence the haircut after I started to lose my hair with the chemotherapy! I managed to finish my first novel and release it on Amazon. Then the news of another dream had come true. It had become a Number One Best Seller. Next big dream is to find an agent and try to get this amazing Number One Best Selling Novel made into a movie. The moral of this story is, you never give up no matter what.
