[[I’m so sorry this is like a billion years (9 months oops—) late. I got sad again, gang. Also started college again, and got super busy. I’m writing this like a fever dream at 3am, so I hope you can forgive any mistakes, or ooc moments. This idea was surprisingly difficult because I didn’t want to make it seem like size was an issue for the characters, and I don’t usually include body size indicators when I write haha but I really did try. I hope you can enjoy this little drabble of Yuuji being a total sap for his pretty gf while I get my writing mojo back! - Ami]]

Loverboy (Yuuji Itadori/Reader)

Summary: Yuuji loves his pretty girlfriend…maybe a little too much? Word Count: 1.2k Warnings: NSFW (slightly), slight implied affectionate obsession

There was something about the plush thick of your thighs that practically had Yuuji salivating. His hands run the expanse of your soft tummy, cuddled up to your side like he was glued to you, but his eyes focus in on the little glimpses he catches of your legs under your shorts.

His teeth sink into the skin of his bottom lip, wishing he was brave enough to try and pull you impossibly closer - to grip you by the dip in your thighs and slot himself between your legs for the comfiest cuddle in the world.

The thought of your weight pressing down on him sounded so comforting, and the idea of your soft skin against his own could send him into orbit. If he thought about it for too long, he worried he wouldn’t be able to keep himself under control.

He swallows thickly after another failed attempt to rip his attention away from your bottom half, completely unsuccessful at paying attention to the movie you picked out. I mean, honestly, how could you expect him to watch some silly drama when your cute ass was literally right there? Looking at you was way more interesting than any movie.

He still couldn’t believe you had agreed to that first date with him almost six months ago. He had almost fallen down a flight of stairs chasing after you just to beg for your number. He would’ve groveled at your feet for a chance, honestly. He balked when you turned him down at first - if you looked closely enough, you could probably see his heart shattering into a million pieces - but his invitation to the tiny, family-owned movie theater in the next town over wasn’t the most comfortable date idea.

As much as you liked the idea of getting to know the guy who nearly cried when the words, “sorry, but…” left your pretty lips, the theater chairs were too small and dug into the flesh of your thighs, or the arm rests pressed against your sides in a way that had you constantly shifting to at least feel a little less squished.

Thankfully he seemed to catch on pretty quickly, because he almost instantly suggested coffee instead (after pulling himself together). To which, you agreed.

And nearly half a year later, Yuuji was still obsessed with you; the curve of your hips, the softness of your tummy, and the squish of your thighs. God, you were perfect.

He slides his arms a little further around your waist, pulling you closer with practiced ease, like you weighed nothing. He presses a kiss to the space between your shoulder blades, unable to properly put his feelings into words, even now. But that was okay, he had always been particularly good at showing it.

“Hm?” You hum to get his attention, eyes never leaving the TV screen as you question his sudden display of affection. The only answer you get is another kiss to the round of your shoulder, and you turn your head to glance back at him, letting your curiosity get the better of you. “Yuuji?”

“Sorry,” He mumbles against your skin, pressing a few other quick kisses to your back and shoulder - daring enough to briefly kiss the back of your neck. His bouts of sudden affection were something you were no stranger to, but your eyes meet his without hesitation, and you pause briefly and the way his pupils are blown wide with adoration as he looks at you.

“Are you okay?” You can’t help but ask, like you can’t believe he’s looking at you with that much love in his eyes. No one had ever looked at you like that before Yuuji. Somehow, he made you feel so unbelievably loved, and you weren’t sure you did anything in particular to deserve that.

Of course, to him, you didn’t have to. “Fine,” he answers, shifting behind you just enough to lift his upper half, leaning over your side to kiss at your cheeks, slowly gravitating lower until he reaches the corner of your lips. “You look so pretty…”

“I’m just wearing shorts and a tee-shirt,” you giggle softly, turning your head until your lips meet his in a chaste kiss. “Nothing special,” you muse. He doesn’t seem to care that it’s ’not special’. Just the fact that you’re his girlfriend is special enough to make him feel like he was going crazy.

The way your eyes soften as you look at him, and your pretty lips pull into a smile, paired with your slightly-exposed-but-far-too-tempting skin does something to his brain. He felt like he was melting, every breath leaving him pliant in your hands. A willing victim to your killing beauty.

His heart is beating loudly in his chest, and his blood seems to be rushing lower before he even notices. For some reason, his brain briefly conjures the image of the first time he really kissed you and tortures him with the reminder of how he finished in his pants just from the feeling of making out with you.

He tries to subtly shift his hips away from you, not wanting you to notice the quickly growing arousal in his shorts, but you knew him too well, and a playful smile creeps up on your pretty features.

“You know...you don’t seem fine,” you hum, quickly glancing him over as heat saturates his reddened cheeks. His hormones always seemed to get the best of him when he was so close to you - constantly at war with wanting to be so close to you it would be nearly impossible to separate, and the fact that if he dared to get to close, he’d be playing peek-a-boo with his erections.

“Totally fine,” he replies, attempting to sound cool and collected as he rips his gaze away from you to stare aimlessly at the TV. The TV he was very obviously not paying any attention to despite gazing straight at it like he was paid to do so.

“Feeling hot?” You try to suppress a little laugh, obviously finding his surprisingly innocent reactions adorable. You shift on the couch to face him before sitting up, straddling his legs in a way that instantly has his eyes wide and mouth open.

He almost protests - you shouldn’t be on top of him like that, you obviously look too good! What if his brain turns to jelly because of you? What will he do if Gojo-sensei and the others make fun of him for getting even dumber?

He can feel his heart racing, brain imagining a mile a minute; your flushed, ecstasy-filled face, his cock pressed deep into you. He can almost imagine what your voice would sound like as you climaxed when the touch of your hand dancing around the waistband of his pants snaps him out of his daydreams.

“Wha—? Wait!” He almost whimpers, face hot as he watches you slip your hand under his shirt, lightly tracing the definition of his abdomen before drawing closer to the start of his happy trail poking out of his shorts. “Oh, God,” his breath hitches in his throat as he looks at you, and he’s practically twitching in his pants with anticipation for what you might do next. He could feel the growing dampness in his underwear. “Are you sure…?”

His whole body twitches under your touch as you slip your hand into his shorts. “Let me make your dreams come true?”

there's obviously still smut in many of these fics, but i tried to tell you if it's important/skippable or not. if you don't mind smut i obviously recommend reading it bc GOD these authors just know their shit, but i think nobody should miss out on the amazing long fics just bc they don't like smut :)

notes: every time i give winterhawk recs to a new fan i start with lucky in love, bc even tho it’s an AU, it has soo many of the typical winterhawk tropes i love so much. PLUS: roomates. and lucky. and every chapter is titled “aw, [something], no” and i find that way too funny to not mention. idk it’s just one of that fics that gives me the warmest & fuzziest of warm fuzzy feelings and i think everyone should read it. 

smut: even tho it has the wonderful, wonderful tag “not gonna tag every sex act just trust me there’s plenty”, there’s actually not that many. in my opinion, the perfect amount for a 60k, 21 chapters winterhawk fic. it’s quite a slow-burn, so they’re only in the later chapters anyway, and the build up to it is soOoo good. this is one of the fics where i know exactly where to find the smut scenes so feel free to hmu. 

Like Real People Do by Kangofu_CB

important tags: “i actually just wanted to watch these two idiots fall in love in a secluded cabin ok”; civil war fix it 

notes: no one, NO ONE  gets me like this fic, it checks like every single one of my boxes. perfection. not lying when i say it’s my favorite fic of all time. it doesn’t have a special premise or anything, but that’s the good thing about it. it’s just so… cozy. comfy. feels like home. i can’t even remember if like real people do is my favorite hozier song because of this fic or if it’s my fav fic bc like real people do is my fav hozier song, but i know that i never cried as hard as i did when i heard lrpd live and could only think about this fic. nothing makes me feel as good as re-reading this story, i want to eat it.

smut: yes, but only like 2,5 scenes. hmu and i tell you the exact fucking paragraph number or smth, this fic is literally engraved in my soul. thank you CB. some day i’ll leave a 2k words comment on every single chapter. 

The Other Man out of Time by sara_holmes

notes: okay, objectively speaking: this is the best winterhawk fic in existence. not my absolute favorite bc it makes me cry too much, but definitely top 3. no other winterhawk fic made me sob this hard, no other winterhawk fic makes me wanna curl up on the floor and cry for an hour every time i think about it. that being said: IT HAS A HAPPY ENDING!!! and a lot of stuff in between is SO sweet as well. premise is basically: clint travels back in time and fights in wwii alongside bucky and they fall in love. and then bucky!canon happens. you get it? you get it. it’s- UGH it’s so good. jesus. i’m crying. 

smut: a few short sexy scenes i think, but no SMUT smut, and it’s definitely definitely DEFINITELY not the focus of the story. can’t emphasise enough how much everyone should read this 

Hipsters get Remembered, Legend’s Never Die by sara_holmes

notes: millennial bucky is one of the most entertaining things fandom came up with, and this fic is the epitome of that trope. love love LOVE. plus, clint’s really fucking awesome in this. 

smut: yes, but only like two or three times in 11 chapters, easily skippable

Puzzle Pieces (series) by sara_holmes 

words: ~446k 

important tags: steve/tony, kid fic, emotional hurt

notes: if you don’t like stony this one isn’t for you, just skip to next one :) if you like stony: GOD pls read puzzle pieces!! the first 200k words fic is stony focused and has only pre-slash winterhawk, but even tho they don’t get together in this one yet it’s literally one of my favorite clint/bucky portrayals of all time, no one gets them like sara, it’s perfect. the stony/kid fic storyline is SO amazing as well, so if that’s your cup of tea, check. it. out. after that they’re a few longer winterhawk instalments, and while some of them are really angsty and painful, there’s always a happy ending. god i need to re-read this entire thing. it makes me wanna cry and throw up in all the good ways. 

smut: some, but you can definitely skip it.

notes: the “first” instalment is a stony fic (one of my all time favs honestly) but with a lot of amazing side-winterhawk, and there’s a winterhawk spin-off, that’s a prequel to the stony arc, so you can just read that first if you want. it was one of the first english winterhawk fics i’ve ever read and it always makes me wanna cry when i think about it (in a good way).

smut: they’re quite horny in both big instalments, but i would say the smut is skippable. it’s not un-important for both the winterhawk and the stony dynamic tho, so i wouldn’t recommend doing that

A little while ago, I mentioned that one of my authors is self-publishing her book (very soon!). To me, it’s got a real Mass Effect-y vibe, even though Amy hasn’t played Mass Effect. She comps it to Star Wars meets Bladerunner (which is also a bit Mass Effect-y). It’s character-driven, exciting, a bit sexy, a bit sad. She’s done some cool worldbuilding with cool lore, and it’s definitely the first of a series, if I have any say in the matter.

I edit a lot of things, but very few are books as squarely in my wheelhouse as A Symphony of Starlight, by Amy Zed. (You’re in this club too @jemmaprophet.) The book isn’t out yet, but in her latest newsletter, Amy said she’s planning on doing a $0.99 preorder sale soon. Here’s her website, where you can sign up for said newsletter.

This is her first book (like, ever???) and she has worked so hard on it. I’m so proud of her. I just really want her to see an influx of love, you know? Plus, she is a delightful human being filled to the brim with enthusiasm and joy.

sometimes i have the urge to write an avengers actors AU that i don't take seriously at all, and just make a series of crack oneshots out of it where every installment is just one of those funny interview formats, like:

wanda & pietro maximoff answer the web's most searched questions

natasha romanoff & clint barton take the lie detector test

natasha romanoff | chicken shop date

steve rogers reads thirst tweets

steve rogers & bucky barnes test their friendship

and bc i'm annoying it would obviously evolve into a winterhawk fic somehow, but just like... sprinkled across different interviews. just imagine them being paired up for actors on actors and it's SO obvious that clint hasn't seen bucky's recent movie and bucky isn't offended but he finds it way too funny and then just starts getting everything wrong about clint & his movies on purpose to fuck with him, and everyone in the comments (bc obviously i would be writing out youtube comment sections) is arguing about whether they have chemistry or not (bucky & steve are besties and a part of the internet has been shipping them for years, so these people obv are winterhawk antis). and then (after a bunch of random interviews with some of the characters who already knew each other & worked on a movie together) all the avengers get casted in a movie together and THEN the press tour madness starts and they get to do all these fun group interviews & shit. tony & steve start hooking up and the internet somehow finds out so the road's clear for all the winterhawk girlies😼 idk a lot of flirting in interviews, a lot of side remarks from the rest of the cast, and bc i'm VERY annoying and it's all i need in life, it all would end with the clint & bucky puppy interview (they're already dating at that point and they kinda confirm it in that interview) and one of the puppies is lucky & clint obviously tries (& succeeds) to adopt him :3
