Luz’s legs kicked beneath her as she sat on a tree branch, waiting for her next... victim was too mean. Target? Whatever! When she heard the faint sound of footsteps, she drew her legs up and pulled up her hood.

She pulled up her mask, and prepared for her jump. Azura flapped her wings next to her head. Luz spun her spell circle to muffle her breathing a little.

When her target (who had a strangely familiar face shape) came by, she canceled her spell and jumped down, creating a loud THUMP as she hit the ground. She held out her Palisman on a staff, grinning behind her mask. “Hey there, soldier. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll give me what I want without a fight.”

Headcanon + motherhood

MOTHERHOOD ;

               as  a  princess  and  the  only  heir  to  the  throne  ,  with  a  curse  unknown  to  her growing up  placed  at  birth  ,  aurora  had  always  known  that  her  duty  would  be  to  be  queen  after  her  parents  would  pass  and  have  an  heir  to  secure  their  lineage  further  .  so  when  it  came  time  to  her  giving  birth  after  her  100  year  sleep  ,  aurora  knew  her  children  were  important  .  they  became  her  world  ,  not  just  in  what  they  would  continue  but  also  as  her  own  family  with  the  man  she  fell  in  love  with  .  aurora  knew  of  her  mother’s  struggle  to  carry  a  child  full term  ,  and  later  on learned  she was  a  magic  baby  from  the  fairies  .  so  to  be  blessed  with  not  just  one  full term  healthy  baby  but  two  ,  aurora  treated  her  children  like  GOLD  .  she  provided  her  children  with  the  best  of  the  best  .  her  role  of  being  their  mother  was  very  important  ,  sometimes  she  put  it  before  her  duty  as  queen  .  she  was  very  involved  in  their  studies  ,  their  interests  and  she  made  time  for  her  family  to  be  together  for  a  time  --  be  it  a  family  trip  or  simple  musical  night  .

Aurora’d felt a bit under the weather when she’d woken up this morning. She’d felt a little shivery and was starting to get a cough, but she’d done her best to hide it because she hated being ill. If she was ill, it meant she would have to rest, and why would she rest when there were so many other things she could be doing instead?

Hiding it evidently wasn’t Aurora’s strong suit and she stopped her attempt to when Meno placed a blanket around her shoulders.

“Thank you,” She managed, letting out a cough into her arm. “I think I’m getting a cold. Do you have any cough medicine?” The younger girl pulled the blanket tighter around herself, her body reacting to the warmth.

          a  cursed,  a  placed  on  her  as  an  infant,  promised  a  long,  death-like  sleep  &&  that  she  did.  a  100  years  had  passed  before  the  princess  had  woken.  the  king  &&  queen  woke  along  with  her  &&  from  then  on  they  needed  to  secure  their  kingdom’s  safety.  aurora  had  no  betrothal.  the  curse  had  said  for  a  100 years  she  would  sleep,  &&  when  that  time  was  up,  she  had  a  kingdom  to  make  sure  was  still  standing.  

          weeks  passed  since  the  blonde  had  woken  &&  the  king  &&  queen  announced  to  her  the  betrothal.  a  young  king  of  narnia  was  to  marry  her.  her  parents  had  talked  amongst  the  people  of  their  court  &&  the  king.  the  king  &&  queen  were  much  for  giving  their  daughter  to  be  queen  of  another  kingdom.  aurora  was  their  only  child,  their  sole  heir  to  their kingdom’s throne,  but  they  had  not  anticipated  the  sleeping  curse  to  be  such  a  predicament  for  their  kingdom.  having  their  daughter  married  to  a  well  respected  &&  praised  high  king  was  better  than  them  struggling  to  raise  their  kingdom  alone  with  no  allies.  

          a  month  or  so  later,  aurora  had  left  rosen  &&  made  her  journey  to  where  the  royal  family  resided.  NARNIA.  it  was  not  a  place  she  was  familiar  with,  but  her  godmothers,  the  ones  who  greeted  her  &&  protected  her  throughout  the  curse,  had  spoke  of  it  once  the  betrothal  had  been  made  known  to  the  public.  NOW  here  she  stood  alone  with  the  high  king,  her  future  husband,  &&  the  princess  did  not  know  how  to  respond  to  him.  aurora  had  limited  interactions  with  anyone  growing  up  &&  she  did  not  know  if  he  liked  the  betrothal.  or  even  her.  she  did  not  like  the  idea  of  marrying  someone  she  barely  knew  BUT  it  was  for  her  kingdom,  her  people,  her  parents  safety  back  in  rosen.  

          pale  slender  fingers  fiddle  with  the  sleeve  of  her  dress  for  a  moment  while  she  collects  her  thoughts  to  conjure  up  a  conversation.  may  it  be  her  parents  fault  for  keeping  her  so  isolated  but  the  princess  was  hardly  prepared  to  speak  with  a  king.      ❝   ----  narnia  is  very  beautiful.  i  saw  much  of  it  on  my  way  here.  ❞
