Underneath the top layer of her hair against her back, it is dyed on the inside the same deep magenta as half of her bangs.

Her skin appears to be more on the pale side, closer to that of pale ivory.

Not to mention the incident report she discovered of a break-in at the library years ago, to steal this very book by a man who seemed to not quite be a man at all...

As Stella's delvings into the book's dark truths went deeper, more secrets of the occult at her fingertips, odd things have begun to occur. The "Witch of Miskatonic" has begun practicing in tugging at the threads of reality, beckoning inanimate objects to her will, as the tongue of the beyond begins to cement itself within her repository of language. mavis’ full bio is linked below. i will just be giving a short run down to catch everyone up to speed. 

mavis was born one hundred and twenty six years ago in transylvania, romania to martha and vlad dracula. they were loving parents and adored their daughter so.

but, tragedy struck and her mother was killed by a bunch of villagers and her father was left to protect his daughter on his own. he did what he saw fit and shut out the human world and locked mavis in. 

she lived behind the walls of his castle which was actually a hotel for monsters. it was an interesting life to say the least but she dreamed of much more. she wanted to be free. 

and one night that dream came true. she met jonathan and she swore she found her zing. he was goofy but he was perfect-- minus the fact he was a human. her father disapproved strongly. but after spending hours talking about his travels around the world she knew what she had to do.

sneaking into her parents room she stole her mother’s daylight amulet and ran away into the night with jonathan to see the world she dreamed about as a child. 

eventually her father forgave her for leaving because he knew that no matter how he tried he could not lock her away for the rest of her life. 

mavis traveled the world for two years with jonathan. they had so much fun together and she was smitten. she truly thought of him as her zing and one and only. 

one day they stumbled upon the city of elias and she never looked back.. this was a place they could call home from their travels.

mavis is working at the pit stop as a waitress. the spooky girl doesn’t really fit the bar’s atmosphere so she stands out a good bit. but don’t let her aesthetics fool you she’s the nicest waitress there. 

she enjoys spending time with her friends and learning about the human world. everywhere she traveled was very different from elias. so, she is learning about all the different beings that inhabit the city. 

she can currently go out in the day time due to her mother’s daylight amulet. gifted to her mother by a witch many years ago. it holds the power to protect her from sunlight and the ability to walk around in the day light. 

while mavis wears the amulet she still uses an umbrella or hood. she’s been this way for decades.. she can’t help it.

Interesting… Their seemingly boundless energy is quite interesting, I must say. She occasionally mentions “Inkwell’s Blood” when bringing up its exorcisms, which admittedly intrigues me somewhat. Drop has somehow managed to dance their way right into my heart, which I must applaud.

She is very kind to me, but their energy often frightens me a bit… it’s similar to Klee’s, but unbridled by childhood or the expectations of anyone close to it. Drop’s dance’s are beautiful, and I quite enjoy when rain shows it to me! Despite the slight frights that it gives me at times, I do enjoy their presence quite a lot…

She’s quite the fun person! Their energy matches mine quite well, and it seems to not have worries with accepting rain’s fate! Whenever my dear friend dies, drop can always count on me to put dance’s body to rest!

She and their twin brother have performed with me a couple of times, really spicing things up! Don’t really know all too much about it other than that, which is a shame. Drop seems like a pretty cool person!

A nuisance, through and through. While her family is quite respected by those in Inazuma, they are amongst the most difficult families to deal with, despite their supposed loyalty. Sucrose! She’s such a sweetheart, and she’s incredibly dedicated to her work. I love to see her reactions to random things I do, because she’s always so cute! Yumi’s childhood life was a peaceful one, surrounded by family and various beasts from around Teyvat. She was an energetic child, and still is now (just, Yknow, older). They tended to explore the places they could and often went along on Valen’s safer expeditions. One day during an expedition in Liyue with Yusa and Valen, they came upon Primo Geovishap, which lead to a fight that took their father’s life and awarded the twins with their visions.

Its father’s side of the family has been cursed for millennia, being fated to turn into a harmful lingering spirit in the afterlife. Her stepmother’s side of the family was blessed by an ancient god with the ability to see spirits, which has lead to many in their family becoming exorcists. Yumi is very close to her family members, and will do many dangerous things for them, no matter what could happen to dance.

Thinks she's all great and stuff, but sees her as a pseudo princess. I mean, coming from Penelope, a legit princess, it's kind of annoying sometimes. The life she's been dreaming of isn't how a royal's life works, and wants to tell her that but doesn't want to crush her dreams.

Sees her as a great rival. Penelope wants to be like her, and is challenged by her, but gets along well. She and Jean have a friendly rivalry, and often see each other as sisters.

Okay, here's the thing. Kaeya's her literal drinking buddy (which Zhongli doesn't allow now for obvious reasons). But whenever she used to visit Mondstadt, she always goes drinking with him at night. For some reason, she can trust Kaeya to not do anything stupid with her and to be responsible for the two of them, but when she asks to have a one-night stand with him because she's "sexually frustrated", he couldn't say no to her. It's called friends with benefits.

This girl is too precious to even exist. I'm serious. Knowing Penelope loves kids, she loves to explore the world with Klee, take care of her, or maybe just accompany her. She thinks of Klee as her own daughter and treats her like she is her own daughter. In short, she loves this girl dearly with her whole heart.

Lisa is like a sister to her. Penelope, oddly, likes it whenever Lisa decides to flirt with her. Maybe because she has some good (well dumb) comebacks that could fluster Lisa. She isn't so good at flirting back, so she takes things too literally sometimes. Their dynamic together is really funny, but also Penelope herself likes to hang out with her so they could both do research together.

Oh, that sweet little thing- Where should I get started? Both Penelope and Venti are extroverts, so she gets along with them well. She finds him really cute and is overly close to him, almost like brothers and sisters. Venti understands her so well and is great at comforting her whenever things don't go right, so she likes to vent to him the most.

Okay, but let's face it- Beidou is hot. As much as Penelope appreciates her, she gets a bit overwhelmed by her sometimes. She, herself is a very timid and conservative girl, so meeting someone as confident as Beidou overwhelms her. Which, I mean, is not a bad thing. She tends to avoid her in any case, because she's low-key afraid of her because she's intimidating.

➪𝙷𝚞 𝚃𝚊𝚘

Absolutely not. She may respect Hu Tao, but at the back of her mind, she completely despises her (Maybe because she's jealous-). It's not that anything's wrong with Hu Tao, but one glance at her, she did not like her at all. So, whenever she's hanging out at the funeral home, she tends to stick with Zhongli more to show her that Zhongli's hers, even if Hu Tao never had feelings for Zhongli. But if she did, she would constantly make out with Zhongli on purpose whenever she's around. Overall, she just doesn't like her.

➪𝚇𝚒𝚊𝚘

I swear, the more he hates people, the more Penelope tries to stick to him. She's very persistent, so she will try to cheer Xiao up in any way she could possibly do. It may get annoying to him, but she really wants to brighten his spirits and meet new people. If she was able to make Diluc soften for her, she sure can make Xiao do the same.

Here we go. Zhongli's the only one she can connect to. I guess, she brought color into his monotonous, lonely life. When she bumps into him in the woods, when her eyes meet his, she couldn't help but fall in love with him. It took her some time to realize her feelings for Zhongli, vice versa for him as well, but when they did, nothing really changed. Except, they acted more like a married couple than two people dating. Nowadays, she helps out at the Wangsheng parlor, doing anything she can to help him out. He changed her life as much as she changed his. Their nights together end up cuddly and romantic, just listening to the rain pour down outside, or, ends up all steamy and- we're not going there. We know Zhongli's irresistible, and we leave it like that. Sometimes, because of her persistent personality, she gets on his nerves. But, when she sees this, she decides to back away and apologize later once he's cooled off. They both respect each other and know one another's boundaries.

Here's the thing- she stereotypes him as a pervert. Like, whenever she sees him, she immediately runs away from him. But, once she gets to know her and when Zhongli assures her that he's not as dangerous, she softens and asks to make friends with Childe. They get along well and respect each other. If she's up for a good adventure, she sure is to ask Tartaglia firsthand. As long as they bring Klee of course-
