idea I just had:

Aurora au where the floof gang is teleported to the real world.

Falst does some reading and ends up learning about climate change, much to Alinua's dismay. "No," she tells him, "I can't just break every single coal power plant in existence. A lot of people would die."

Later she has to explain to him that no, she can't solve world hunger just by growing plants everywhere, in the long run that would degrade the soil even more and there would need to be some major infrastructure changes to make that sustainable.

"Why am I the only person who cares about this?" Falst exclaims. "I can't even do anything about it! Why do none of the people who can do anything care?!"

"Wow," says person from the real world that the floof gang befriended, "I'm sure you're the first person in the entire universe to have this crisis."

We’re taking a quick break from the main plot of Wielders of Wisdom to cover a short interlude about Aurora I’ve had planned for a while— now with 100% more Echo :). You can imagine this happens sometime before the events of The Founder’s Call.

Also, shoutout to this cute art by @starshinedreamer for the idea that Flora gave Dawn blue nightshades from her era! Dawn grew more of them, and put some around the room Echo was asleep in to make the place feel a bit more cozy. (Echo doesn’t go back to this room much though.)

oh yeah Dainix is drummer, Kendal is lead guitar, Alinua is rhythm guitar/vocals, Erin is vocals/keyboard, Falst is bass, and Tess is also drummer (maybe)

they’re a college friend group in a kind of modern/future version of the setting where lacrima technology has become ubiquitous and there’s magic equivalents to cell phones and microwaves and trains and stuff like that (no internet yet though)

they would be so unorganized. and it would be awesome and beautiful
