i like fire and blood. yall know that. ill defend it from people who call it bad. but im still objective. i can recognize its only the bones of the story (BECAUSE ITS AN *IN-UNIVERSE* HISTORY BOOK-)

so, hotd, (IF YOU ASK ME!!!!!) shouldve put meat on those bones. filled in the blanks. made characters out of the noncharacters in the book. instead it tried to reorganize the skeleton. rewrite the plot points that every differing pov in the book agreed on.

so now instead of fleshing out an underfed story. we have the bones of TWO stories that both introduce interesting themes and ideas but do nothing/go nowhere with it. whats the point of taking the bones of one story and turning it into the bones of a completely different story? just write your own story at that point idk.

I absolutely did skip on a name, and I was wondering for those of us who kind of stubbornly skip for a bit, will there be naming opportunity, later when mc knows Lexia and Havard better, can our mc ask Lexia or Havard to name them despite possibly denying them both previously?

This is a very good point, and it would make sense :D I will need to consider this. Context in this older post.

Now... there might be one person, one of a pair in fact, who does have the patience of an adult to let MC have their time to think about names... and will just call MC something if they refuse to give a name of any kind.

What that is I have no idea yet.

I will admit I also had a very specific scene in mind to let MC potentially go nameless... but it might be too ambitious and annoying to implement... actually one widget would probably do it... :D

MC gets tired of being called something generic like "the child" and starts telling people random names. Lexia (and Azha) just run with the idea and call MC a random name each time...

Yeah. That was the plan.... It's a silly plan... which fits. I would need to write a pool of names for MC which is not super fun (I do have the ready made suggested names, but those are not so fun :D)... Though a bunch of ridiculous names from a generator....

See, I keep playing around with it :D

don't you hate when you literally write a whole novel worth of rants and rambles and honesty you can't even remember all the points you made by the end because it was just so long and everytime you hit a certain point you would go on a tangent and it have to bring it back and then you put the tags on it and press post and it tells you to try again and lose all the writing with no way of getting it back because you didn't save it anywhere, hell you weren't even going to write a post but it came to you while scrolling through Tumblr and you were like hell why not? You didn't even put it through a spell checker completely unfiltered thoughts and it shows and now it will never be seen again, do you even bother to rewrite it? It just won't be the same.

hey guys i have an amazing resolution for you - stop tagging fem/f readers as gender neutral and non-binary!!!! every single fucking time i'm searching for reader fanfics i either only get fem!readers or the tags nb!reader, gn!reader and masc!reader are just filled with fem!readers because the authors want to advertise their work i guess. have you considered that MAYBE dysphoria is a thing? and that MAYBE i deserve to look through tags peacefully without catching strays?????
