i like fire and blood. yall know that. ill defend it from people who call it bad. but im still objective. i can recognize its only the bones of the story (BECAUSE ITS AN *IN-UNIVERSE* HISTORY BOOK-)

so, hotd, (IF YOU ASK ME!!!!!) shouldve put meat on those bones. filled in the blanks. made characters out of the noncharacters in the book. instead it tried to reorganize the skeleton. rewrite the plot points that every differing pov in the book agreed on.

so now instead of fleshing out an underfed story. we have the bones of TWO stories that both introduce interesting themes and ideas but do nothing/go nowhere with it. whats the point of taking the bones of one story and turning it into the bones of a completely different story? just write your own story at that point idk.

I absolutely did skip on a name, and I was wondering for those of us who kind of stubbornly skip for a bit, will there be naming opportunity, later when mc knows Lexia and Havard better, can our mc ask Lexia or Havard to name them despite possibly denying them both previously?

What that is I have no idea yet.

I will admit I also had a very specific scene in mind to let MC potentially go nameless... but it might be too ambitious and annoying to implement... actually one widget would probably do it... :D

Yeah. That was the plan.... It's a silly plan... which fits. I would need to write a pool of names for MC which is not super fun (I do have the ready made suggested names, but those are not so fun :D)... Though a bunch of ridiculous names from a generator....

Mentally I'm still at Soleum saying "And when that happens, you'll get bored of me fast..." Like wow... okay character reader!!

As a reader I was gagged, but to imagine Braun?

Braun must've been so surprised, cuz not once in his immortal life he has stopped to ever think of getting bored by Kim Soleum. Afterall, all these times his performance has been nothing but immaculate. If anything he felt offended Soleum would ever think of him that way, but he didn't say anything immediately. He stopped to reflect on it. Is it true that he'll ever get bored of Kim Soleum? And to think that he has a deal of thinngs going that way nonetheless? Braun must've hated the fact that he internally agreed to it--Soleum was spot on. And he tried so hard to brush the thought aside.

But in the end he can't, cuz that's just how he is. A great host with heart and passion for entertainment, the moment he deemed something is boring the faster he wants to get rid of it. But he doesn't want to get rid of Kim Soleum, he genuinely thought this is good for Kim Soleum too, deep down. Because despite being contaminated Soleum looked happy, less tired and fulfilled. He thought Soleum is made for stage, for entertaining, for audience. Afterall he has the talent and eyes for it.

And then Soleum breaking his train of thought with "So I have to go back, it'll be much fun for you this way too..."
