I'll admit i was very angry and hurt that i was on your block list until i read your user profile. sorry you got bullied and harassed by this person. now i'm kinda of nervous of who she is because i don't think i could take 16 months of bullying.

I debated overnight if I should answer this. I am going to respond so that my readers understand what's been going on.

This ask is very typical of the type of thing the person who harassed me, and plagiarized Autumn in Philadelphia does. Since she found out about the link to the report, she has sent readers and has impersonated readers to get the link to that report which details not just the plagiarism but also her harassment.

I have had mutual readers gain my trust, participate in my BMW discord server, and pretend to be supportive through this ordeal all while relaying information to her.

She has also used her readers from other fandoms to try to do the same.

This is why I preemptively block readers who gush over her or indicate that they are in private communication with her (all of this is public information on her stories that I found while compiling my report).

Why is this ask typical of her methods to gain access to me and the report?

There is no indication to which user profile this information is on as those of you who follow me know I post on three sites.

I would think if this ask was by a legit reader and not by her or one of her friends (she is blocked on every single site I know we share as are any associates of hers that I'm aware of) I would think the reader would want me to know who they are so I can directly address them and the site they are on.

Which I would do privately.

The fact that immediate concern is about who she is also bothers me. I would assume once I named the person, they would want proof in the form of the link to the report.

That will not happen.

If this ask is from a legitimate reader or follower, then I really am sorry you've been caught in this.

To be clear: I am not upset with anyone who follows her or interacts with her works. This issue should have stayed between us but she chose to bring others into it and use them.

Even if you have been a part of this with her, I'm honestly not upset with you. I know how manipulative she is. I'm sure you thought you were helping a very sweet loving Christian writer obssessed with Jon and Shawn (aren't most of us obssessed?).

I fell for it myself. Hard.

I care about all of my readers very much, but it has come to the point where I have to protect myself.

If this is not a legitimate ask and you are doing this on her behalf or she's gotten another account, then we now stand close to 20 months of harassment.

To my readers, you know where to find me and how to interact with me that is not AO3.

the more i think about it, the more i realize how much of a deeply, deeply tragic character yellowfang is. everyone talks about how much she fucking sucks after she becomes a starclan cat, and they’re absolutely correct; she goes from the cool grouchy grandma to a complete fucking hypocrite. and for the longest time i thought this was completely OOC for her, but it recently hit me over the head that it might not be. to say that this change in character was intentional would be giving the erins WAY too much credit knowing who they are, but the more you think about her life and what she went through, the more it makes sense in a twisted sort of way.

starclan forced her into a life she never wanted. she wants to train as a warrior, but she is cursed with the power to feel other cats’ physical pain and badgered into becoming a medicine cat by sagewhisker until she gives in. she falls in love with raggedstar, but as as soon as things go south for her he offers no support. when she dares to go against the destiny that was laid out for her, when she continues to meet with him and becomes pregnant by him, starclan punishes her; not just by having two of her kits die, but by condemning the surviving kit to become a tyrant and a child murderer. he turns against his parents; he kills his father and frames his mother for his own crimes not knowing who she truly is, and yellowfang is forced to watch this all unfold from a distance, unable to tell her son the truth and wondering how things could be different if he knew. and finally, for the good of the clans, she has no other choice but to rip out his eyes and then poison him. her own son, the kit she herself bore, dead at her own claws. a cruel twist of fate for a cat who never wanted any of this, who just wanted her own life.

so by the time she gets to starclan, her experiences have changed her. so many innocent lives were lost and the clans were nearly destroyed because she disobeyed, because she went against their will. she even forgives sagewhisker for being so shitty to her because now she’s convinced that she was the one in the wrong and her mentor, a messenger for starclan, was acting in her best interests all along. she’s become so thoroughly traumatized by everything she went through that she decides she cannot let another cat experience what she experienced. now that she’s a part of starclan, she has the power to prevent something like this from ever happening again. but that’s just the thing. she’s a part of starclan. she’s a part of the system now; the very same system that screwed her over. and the system chews people up and spits them out until they become just another cog in the machine. so instead of going to the root of the problem and questioning the level of influence starclan has over living cats, she not only perpetuates the cycle but becomes an active participant in it.

and because firestar is the son she should have had, she sets her sights on his descendants.

she cannot prevent leafpool from bearing kits, as these kits have their own destiny they must fulfill. so she tells leafpool she must give up her kits, just as she had to. she lies to squirrelflight that she will never have kits of her own and that the three are her only chance to be a mother so that she will take them in. when they arrive in starclan moons later, she and others have the audacity to judge whether they are worthy to join their ranks or should be damned to the dark forest for their actions when they not only did exactly what they were told to do, but did the same things that she did and still went to starclan for (though to give her some credit, she is at least more sympathetic than the other judges and even defends them; perhaps out of guilt?). she allows ashfur into starclan on the basis that he “loved too much,” because her relationship with raggedstar warped her view of what healthy love should look like. she forces the kin of firestar’s kin—namely, jayfeather and dovewing—into destinies they want no part of; they’ll learn to love it, just like she did.

and she thinks she’s doing the right thing. she’s learned the hard way that going against starclan will only lead to more suffering. she’s convinced that she’s helping them, that by acting this way she will be able to prevent them from making the same mistakes that she made. but she cannot see that she is only inflicting on other cats the exact same suffering that starclan inflicted on her.

and if that isn’t tragic, i don’t know what is

Somewhere along the way I acquired the headcanon of "Tardif does falconry" and while I don't exactly remember where it came from, maybe it was inspired by the one Bounty Hunter-exclusive trinket of a falcon's foot?

And then that made me think of how one of the trinkets exclusive to the Grave Robber is a rabbit's foot, which sure, is a classic luck charm...but now I kinda like the idea of Audrey having a pet rabbit, back when she was a Lady.

Final writing credits for live-action ATLA Season 1 have been submitted; Bryke wrote two episodes

With the final writing credits now submitted, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra co-creators and Avatar Studios co-heads Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino (“Bryke”) co-wrote two episodes of Netflix’s eight-episode live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 1: episode 1 and episode 6.

We already knew about episode 1, which was co-written between live-action showrunner Albert Kim and them.

What’s new is episode 6, the story of which was by Ubah Mohamed and Bryke and the script (aka “teleplay” in the world of TV) by Emily Kim (Marvel’s Spider-Gwen), Hunter Ries (Nick/Netflix), and Bryan only.

“Story by” + “teleplay by” = “written by”, so all the other episodes besides episode 6 had the same people for both story and script, and “teleplay by”/“written by” credits are for when someone has contributed at least 33% of a script when it comes to an adaptation. This isn’t because Bryke are the creators of the source material-- their credits for that will be separate and unrelated to episode writing credits.

Saudade: Losing Audrey Part II

Jon's hearing commences and the verdict is handed down.

A poorly handled conversation leads to cracks in his relationship with Shawn.

Kat was the one who lied ruined his future with Audrey and used her position to harm a student, his kid. But he was the one being punished. And for what? Wanting to be a husband? Wanting to be a father? No matter what happened to Kat, her punishment would not be anywhere near as severe as his.

"Jon?"

He looked up and saw Shawn giving him a look of curiosity and concern. Anger and bitterness joined together, and Jon had to turn away from him. The teen was a reminder of what he was going to lose.

"Shawn, this is a nice story," he snapped harshly. "But that's all it is. It's a story and not real life. We have to move on and forget about everything else."

"Move on? Forget everything else?" Shawn couldn't believe what he was hearing. "What are you talkin' about? You sound like you want us to forget Audrey."

Jon clenched his jaw and his fist, then shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans. He glanced at the door he very much wanted to walk out. "Feeny called her and put her on speaker. He talked to her for me. She backed out, Shawn. Told me to get you and to move on. To find someone who loves us both.

Shawn's jaw dropped.

Confusion wrapped around him, followed by fear. Fear gave way to anger.

"Liar," he spat back bitterly. He was deeply hurt by his teacher's sudden callousness. "She would never leave us."

Jon glared at the floor and shrugged. "It's what she said."

Outrage flared in his eyes. "She would  never  leave  me !"

Without Audrey to anchor him to the place he needed to be, Jon was ready to revert to his old ways and the look on Shawn's face was enough for him to walk. "Look it's over, Shawn. Audrey backed out."

Panicked consumed Shawn. He didn't understand why Jon suddenly turned on him and Audrey. It terrified him that one of the few adults he trusted was betraying him in this way. He'd had nightmares about something like this happening.

He just didn't know what he'd done that was so bad that Jon would leave him. So he did the only thing he knew to do- he lashed out.

"I don't believe you! You're a liar!" he shouted at his teacher. "You're the one who backed out and you're blamin' her."

Jon whipped around and pointed a finger at him. "No, I'm not!" he shouted back at him.

He'd already been punished for things he never did; he didn't need to hear false accusations from his kid.

Shawn wasn't done. He could hit Jon where it hurt as hard Jon could hit him. "As soon as this stupid school year is over I'm gonna go to her and I'm gonna stay with her! Forget you!"

The words hit with intended damage, and he responded in the same manner as Shawn.

"She'll send you back! She told me to take care of you!"

"Yeah, well I don't wanna live you if that's the case!"

Jon gave him a look of disgust. "Shawn, c'mon. Grow up a little."

"What are you sayin'?" he scowled suspiciously at him.

"I'm sayin' sometimes things don't work out the way we want. This is one of those times. You just gotta accept it."

"No, I don't. I won't. Why aren't you fightin' this?"

This conversation had rapidly spun out of control and Jon had no idea how to get it back. The desire to even try had left him. He just didn't see how this was going to work out with just him and Shawn. They didn't do well in the beginning when it was just the two of them and Jon tried to be the parent. He had no reason to believe he could do it on his own now.

He needed Audrey.

But she was gone.

And so was his hope for their future and he heard himself coldly spit back, "There's nothing to fight for!"

While that's how he felt, he hadn't meant to say it out loud.

Shawn stared at him like he'd slapped him. He'd been hit once before and yet an open palm against his cheek didn't hurt nearly as much. His vision clouded up suddenly and he struggled to bring Jon into focus.

"We're not worth fightin' for?"

The pain and fear in Shawn's voice made him recoil and take a step towards the door. He couldn't have this conversation right now; he wasn't ready for it. The more he was forced to try to explain, the worse he made things.

He inched even closer to the door.

"Look, I gotta make a choice," he said defensively. "I can go after Audrey, try to patch things up, and lose my career and you. Or I give Audrey up so I can keep you. I can't do both."

Anger flared up and set Shawn's cheeks on fire. "That's a cop out!" he cried as his voice rose in volume. "You could do both! I told you how!"

Jon's thoughts were reeling. Shawn's anger, fear, and confusion increased his own making it impossible to think. Add to that the weight of responsibility on him and he felt like something within him was on the verge of breaking.

"If you don't do what I told you, then you're a liar who doesn't care about me or Audrey!"

Jon stared at him for a long moment and watched the future he so desperately wanted cease to exist.

"It's a fairytale, Shawn! Okay?!" he shouted back. "We lied and snuck around and look at the way things turned out! It's over! Everything is over!"

Enraged by this, Shawn jumped onto the couch and tried to grab Jon, but his teacher stepped out of his reach.

"No, it's not!" he screamed, jumping once on the furniture then off and lunging at Jon. "You're just too much of a coward to fight for our family!"

And then it snapped.

"We don't have a family!"

i have a song rec for you! apologies for the randomness, i don’t have folks to talk about little shop with and i thought you might appreciate it.

there’s a show that i only recently learned about called ordinary people, and there’s a song in it called “favorite places”. it caught my eye because on the soundtrack it’s performed by hunter foster, aka seymour from the revival back in the 2000s. it’s hard to separate him from seymour voice-wise, but the lyrics are very audrey-esque. reminds me of “somewhere that’s green”, but they’re not exactly identical. i highly recommend giving it a listen or at least reading the lyrics.

Oh my gosh it is very Audrey-esque but it could work just as well for Seymour! He was going to duet Somewhere That’s Green with Audrey in early drafts of the script so who’s to say that he doesn’t still dream of going somewhere that’s green too. Also that ending got me right in the feels with “I haven't found a way inside her heart…One more favorite place I've never been.” That’s SO Seymour coded!

I’ll have to add this to my Audrey and Seymour Spotify playlist. Thanks for the recommendation!
