Rhea took a deep breath, pushing the door open. Group therapy. It was different from how she normally did therapy, but she wasn’t... completely against it. She wasn’t sure how to feel with the idea of throwing her traumas out to a group of other students. But if it helped...

She slowly stepped into the room, clutching her sketchbook tightly to her chest, looking between everyone sitting in chairs, getting the feeling that she’d managed to at least initially go unnoticed.

“Where’d Hollis run off to, do you think?” Willa asked, fidgeting with her cloak.

Audrey shrugged. “They said something about a ‘retrieval mission’? We’ll see when they get back, I think. Maybe it’s snacks.”

hey wandersong fans. do you ever think about the baron. how, in so little time, wandersong clearly establishes four things: one, the baron fucked up an Entire Town. two, he did it trying to bring that town happiness, because it was once His community. three, hes kiwis father. four, they do not recognize each other.

do you ever think about how profoundly sad that is? the baron, presumably already estranged from his community, decided to try and bring it joy. he abandoned his wife and child to do so. he spent years, decades, even, working on his factory, his toys. but the factory fails. the community comes together, rallied by a bard he does not know, to tell him that hes done them wrong. that hes done something downright evil, even. he looks at a determined community he does not recognize, and backs down. he goes home to his wife, their child nowhere to be seen. thats to be expected, after decades. they must be an adult now.

and kiwi...ohhh the ways the baron parallels kiwi...the both of them, estranged from the communities they live in, doing whatever they can to bring the people around them joy, but its never enough. theyre never Part of the community. so they leave, on their own journey. one to save the world, one to save the town. and they fail! theyre not the heroes of their stories, no matter how hard they try. but kiwi went out making friends on their journey. kiwi has miriam to lift them up and help them out. the baron has no one, not anymore.

Character Post: Audrey/Alistair Sawyer

"It’s when I want to express how I feel the most that I make the biggest mess of it. What is wrong with me? I don't know."

Audrey/Alistair Sawyer is a complicated person. Rude, obnoxious, and self-centered come to mind if you ask somebody to describe them. Their behaviour has made it difficult for them to integrate properly into the social dynamics at St. Augustine, not that they are aware of it. Or at least, they sure act like they are not.

But these assessments of A's personality barely scratch the surface of who they are. Because they can be generous, sympathetic, and even remorseful. A feels intense pressure as the heir to the Sawyer family business, which has a trickle effect into the way they act and carry themself. They struggle to properly articulate their feelings, often saying the complete opposite of what they are truly thinking.

One things for sure, the PC will have their hands full with A Sawyer as their partner in crime when it comes to this body swapping fiasco. But at least it will promise to be an eventful year.

Year: Senior

Appearance: They are thin and lithe with pale skin. Dyed red hair with brown roots barely poking out. Eyes are a cloudy blue, verging on grey. If male, wears a fancy watch and a golden chain; if female, wears an assortments of bracelets and a golden necklace. Speaks with a slight twang, but it's hardly noticeable. Their lithe frame is attributed to the fact that they are not accustomed to much physical exertion.

Height: if male: 6'0; if female: 5'6

Likes: sweets and candy, easy tasks, praise, making their parents proud, thriller TV shows

Dislikes: E Jefferson, the PC (sometimes), being proven wrong, vegetables, sometimes K Berg honestly, cheap toilet paper, romantic comedies, homework

Audrey smiled sweetly. “Of course. I like baking, and I haven’t seen you in a while, so it was a good excuse.” She giggled, leaning on the table. “How are you?”

"I brought brownies." Audrey sat next to Will, setting the plastic container on top of the book in front of him.

Will looks up, lighting up slightly when he sees her, quickly gesturing for her to sit. "That, I, uh-- I appreciate that. A, a lot."

Why is exclusion treated like something that is inherently bad ? Not everything is for everyone/includes everyone and that doesn’t always equate to bigotry.

Lesbianism (and male homosexuality) is exclusive by default; males are not lesbians, lesbians are not attracted to males and a lesbian is a female homosexual.

The definition for gay males has stayed pretty much the same for most people but all of a sudden lesbians are “non-men” who are attracted to other "non-men", somehow centering men even in just the definition.

The same things that lesbiphobic heterosexual males have told me (“I'm a lesbian too!" "Why don't you just try men?") get treated as progressive, enlightened takes on this site that gets thousand of notes with little to no pushback.

This is misogyny and homophobia wrapped in a rainbow ribbon. I have seen this happen with gay males but not nearly as much as it happens with lesbians. It’s like the one sexual orientation that doesn’t involve males by default is the one that is all of a sudden the problematic one and has to include now include them in order to be ‘progressive’ enough.

standing by the outskirts she’s almost worried audrey might not notice her, watching carefully as her eyes scan over the words and then around the room. lula is rather pleased when she makes her way over quickly as soon as she's noticed, letting out a laugh. “i am known for always knowing when to make an entrance,” she muses, idly brushing some hair back from her shoulder. “now i feel you’re going to be awfully disappointed when i just say my plan was just leaving. remind me to bring my passport next time, hm?” unfortunately given that she hadn’t thought any further than just sending the text to get the attention she wanted, she lifts her shoulders in a bit of a shrug as she mulls through ideas. “my place? a cosy bar? we can walk and see where the night takes us?”

It makes me really sad to see Twin Peaks fans ship Cooper with Audrey/Laura, as if the point of the show isn't that sexual abuse against women and teen girls is wrong and that Laura Palmer didn't deserve to die. Also they're both 16. Bringing up relationships (both from the show and out of it) that had nothing to do with the vetoing of such a harmful concept only proves my point further (men above 30 dating girls younger than them is wrong) and also misogynistic.

Seymour shivered in the cold night air as he walked down Skid Row's quiet streets. He didn't know where exactly he was planning on going, all he knew was that he needed to get out of the shop for a little while. The nightmare that he had awoken from minutes before, filled with blood and vines and the deep, rumbling laughter of a certain hungry plant, had been so distressing that he had practically thrown himself out of bed, hurrying to put on his glasses, a pair of socks, shoes, and an old, worn winter coat over his pajamas before making a quick exit through the back door of the building. Sure, it wasn't the most glamorous look for an up-and-coming experimental botanist such as himself, but given that the late (...or early?) hour meant that there was barely anyone around, let alone the press, he couldn't bring himself to care much about the way he looked right now.

His heart was still pounding in his chest as images from his horrible dream continued to pass through his mind. Maybe he deserved to feel this kind of fear. He had done so many terrible things lately. Yes, perhaps Orin's death could be justified, but leading Mr. Mushnik into the plant? ...What had he been thinking?

His spiral of thoughts was interrupted once he snapped back into reality, realizing where he was; standing in front of Schmendrik's. And... the lights were still on? Huh. Having never visited at such an ungodly time before, he somehow hadn't known this place was a 24-hour establishment.

...Maybe some cheap food, or at least the atmosphere of the place, would help in calming his head.

Deciding not to hesitate any longer, Seymour made his way towards the door. The bell chimed as he opened it and stepped inside, and he let out a quiet sigh as slightly warmer air replaced the chill that had previously surrounded him. Taking a quick glance around, he was grateful to find that there seemed to be nobody here. Nobody, except for a familiar head of blonde hair seated in one of the booths.

Audrey?

Drawn to the sight, he stepped nearer to the figure, blinking in surprise once a closer look confirmed that it was indeed his girlfriend (god, it still felt so strange to think about her like that!) sitting there. What's she doing here?

"...Audrey?" he called out softly, walking forwards until he was standing right over the booth, curiosity and concern for the woman he loved overtaking him. "...What are you doing here? ...Shouldn't you be in bed?"

Other DW Fan: I bet your favorite companion is- Me, holding my Peri Brown Character Options Figures: Peri! I love her. She's got a huge amount of abuse survivor subtext and gets several great moments telling the Master, who's exploiting her trauma in her first story, to go fuck himself - and do you know how fucking validating that is, coming from an abusive background myself? Peri's great. And cute. I wish there were less bits with her being creeped on by randos. It's in almost every single televised story and it's not even good as fanservice- Other DW Fan: I was going to say Ace. Me: lmao no. Call me back when we actually get a story with her mom in it.
