People will horribly disfigure an animal right in front of your eyes and look at you weird when you do not have a Good Reaction just because it is small enough. “I’ll just clean it don’t worry” dude that is the bare fucking minimum.

It is sooo crazy 2 me that people categorize bugs so separately from other animals to the point where you rarely get any warnings whatsoever when people r poastin images of dead ones. Like ok I know I often frame my visceral negative reactions 2 dead bugs as an irrational fear or whatever but when you stop to think about it for 5 seconds it’s like. Why SHOULD I be the weird one here. It’s a dead animal. It’s dead animal!!!!! Dismembered and squashed bugs is gore! Why the fuck would it be that strange to not be able to tolerate it! I’m going insane! If you don’t find it strange that someone can’t stomach seeing a roadkilled raccoon with its guts on the pavement then is it really that hard to conceive of someone who has a similar reaction to a bug (which is just a smaller animal) killed in much the same mechanical way aaaaaaaaauuuughghn AAAAAAAA
