The servants were serving another man, the Earl of Lockwood, who was leaning against a long table at the other end of the now open hall, next to the small but conspicuous and ornate chair that was placed at the end. He had his dark hair down and was staring at the wood in front of him as if it held some important message and solution to what had plagued them for so long. But when he heard the sound of the man entering, he looked up. Though his stature and bearing belied his youth, it marked him at the same time, for dark shadows formed under his eyes and the threat he faced almost alone was evident in his expression.

Imagine Lockwood, Lucy and George living in a version of 13th century Middle Ages and the world of Merlin (TV). Anthony, Earl of Lockwood is the son of a king, but tries to live his life as an independent lord. As the Problem, the plague, haunts the people and Lord Lockwood's father, the King, refuses to take decisive action to protect the people, Lockwood fights his own battles, fighting ghosts in secret. George de Clarim, supports him but hides his own secrets. When they get close to capturing a thief in a strive for distraction, our story sets in...

I could say that realizing every artist's dream of completing a project like this wasn't easy, and while it's true, I must thank you all once again for encouraging me with your sweet comments and messages. It's thanks to you that a one-part punchline became a full 202 pages (!!!) story.

As for the Magic Omens AU, please give me a moment to catch my breath and I'll start preparing the digital release (with bonus drawings) that will be downloadable from kofi!

To the Merlin fans who are keeping the fandom alive, to the Good Omens fans (I'm sure the 90 minutes finale will be great, even if we won't get a full season! stay hopeful!!) and to the fans of both shows for constantly enabling my silly idea,

You know what's one thing I'm disappointed we never got in Merlin? After the troll episodes, the entire event was never brought up again!

I mean, I understand if the people of Camelot would rather forget about the whole thing, but Arthur had a troll for a stepmother for like a week and Merlin never teased him about it later on?!

I would really like to write a fic or au some day set in the Golden Age where it's discovered that dragonlords got their powers from being descended from ancient powerful dragons that shapeshifted in humans and had half-human children.

And Arthur's reaction is to turn to Merlin and go "So what you're telling me is that one of your ancestors was deranged enough to sleep with a dragon? That certainly confirms my theory that your insanity is passed down through your blood."

And of course Merlin immediately fires back, "And remind me Sire, which of our family trees includes a troll?"

Arthur sputters for a moment before shouting that that doesn't count, she enchanted his father and the whole thing was a trick, before Geoffrey pipes up and says, "Actually sire, as it was an official wedding, Queen Catrina the Troll was officially added to the Pendragon family tree. And as the marriage was never formally annulled before her death, she cannot be removed from the record."

Arthur's left horrified by this, while Merlin's laughing his ass off.

I just think a scene like that would be neat!

I guess here King Arthur was a real dude who became legend after his death (in which demons and angels might have been involved). Our heroes now have a mystery to solve, with the help of a certain sorcerer.......

Your Merthur fanart is amazing! I LOVE the way you capture their expressions!!! If you've got the spoons might I request Arthur seeing Merlin in a wedding dress and being absolutely poleaxed because since when was Merlin hot- (they're idiots in love your honor). You capture their entire like. Fundamental dynamic SO WELL; your art is expressive and beautiful and I love it.

Do you ever stop and think about how lonely must Arthur have felt before meeting Merlin?

He had no one he could really call friend for years and then BAM one day he meets this strange, cocky, peasant boy who just calls him names regardless of his rank and like in just one day he gains a loyal servant, a best friend, a soulmate, the other side of his coin, his savior, his first true supporter and the love of his life.

Damn, the love he must feel for Merlin.
