More "defective Vinsmoke bros".

They're still weird even in Off mode, they're just... well, less grouchy.

In my opinion even in the original they actually can have emotions like love and stuff (analysis here if you want to read), they're just for some reason weirdly irritable at Sanji for being different. So in this AU, when they're in off mode they just don't get angry and more like "I don't care", so they treat him nicer.

They still can't feel sympathy, though, so the bandages and treatment still has to be done by Reiju.

Also I was debating if they would still call Sanji "failure" or not, because the actual word for it was "defective product" in the Japanese raw. It would be sort of ironic hypocrisy, especially if they don't know they're also defective, but I decided they don't do that.

Zosan Germa au Masterlist

Part 3 of this au has arrived! It took me too long because I lived a month full of things, it's been a long time since I've been as overwhelmed as this time, but the hardest part is over, and best of all, a few days ago I made my debut as a musical theater actor!

I'm pretty happy about that, so I wanted to bring this chapter as fast as possible.

I plan to bring some shipp or another, it won't take long to show up because, as much as I want to beat Sanji's brothers with a pineapple, I also like to humiliate them innocently, there's no way these guys know how to behave when they like someone.

Modern Vinsmokes and Sanji doing sports.

124ji were the cool kids in elementary that could do all the tech deck tricks, and were bullies to Sanji cuz he couldn't figure out how to do an ollie. This trend continued into things like running and biking, so Sanji eventually decided to never be in a sport his brothers were also doing.

Later 124ji took up more extreme sports while Sanji went to culinary school. He then got into figure skating as a hobby, but he's quite good at it. I tried to pick something for Sanji that wasn't just martial arts for him to do, but still involved lots of leg stuff. He would probably also dominate soccer, but skating has fancier outfits to draw!

Half this was bettering my understanding of the shapes and poses of sport people photos, the other half was pure personal indulgence. WCI is my favorite arc.

Anyway! This means we can keep fighting! Isn't that wonderful? I know your dad doesn't fight with that red-head anymore because of it.

Zoro

Sanji

Is…is it the hair? I thought I'd try something new…. I spent so long fixing it up for you. Do you not like it?

Notes: I'm still exploring how to do dialogue the way my brain lays it out in my head. I've written scripts for storyboarding purposes before but Tumblr layout won't let me do what I need so bullet points it is. Oh well! Depending on feedback I might change it up.

Since I made the childhood days scenes for the "Defective Vinsmokes" AU, I wanted to draw the adult version, but since I imagined this AU to mostly follow canon, that means it has to take place in Whole Cake.

Their "off" mode could change the plot too much depending on when it happens, so I need to think about it carefully first. I will... eventually get to it. It just would complicate the situation if there's too much change.

Instead of that, I decided to make a scene set after Whole Cake.

Basically imagine the story to be mostly like how it is in the original, the difference is that Sanji doesn't dislike his brothers as much, so he's not that angry about the new Vinsmoke wanted posters. I feel like, after hearing Reiju's explanation Sanji would think of his brothers as victims of the experimentations too...

This is happening shortly before the World Government revoked Germa's membership, I guess, so the bros can still make demands to the Marines at the time.
