Kidnapped, the 1960 Disney one. (Best one!) Or if you mean the last new-to-me film, that was Werewolf of London (1935) - not to be confused with An American Werewolf in London!! Hilariously awful. You gotta love a werewolf that stops to pull on a coat and hat before it goes out upon the rampage. 😂

Last song: Time as a Symptom/Anecdotes by Joanna Newsom. I always imagine Maglor performing in Valinor as something like Joanna, just switching between harp and piano mid-song like she does in this performance. Also want to shout out these lyrics “But when you come and see me| In California| You cross the border of my heart”, because I‘ve had her other song, In California, on rotation a lot today. My best friend since I was 13 drove down all the way to celebrate my birthday with me yesterday and I really felt those lines! Just full of overwhelming love.

Last movie: Tolkien starring Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins. I watched it for Ty Tennant and Tom Glynn-Carney though, because I am also House of the Dragon trash.

Currently reading: Haven’t read any books recently, do recipe books count? Because the last one I read was Ramsay in 10.

Currently watching: Mike White’s Enlightened, starring Laura Dern. I found it through a pretty heartwarming clip on youtube that used Joanna Newsom’s Esme. Watching Laura Dern’s character having a nervous breakdown was difficult though.

@attheexactlyrighttimeandplace No, I completely understand your original response to the post. My tags about being frustrated are aimed at the court, apologies for not being more clear! It's insane to me that the court can take the small steps it did and that people can call it "at least something" or "a step in the right direction". Because steps towards the right direction are useless to the people suffering and dying, as you point out. It helps no one except, I suppose, the politicians who want to seem like they're doing something without actually taking a stand. I know the court doesn't have any real power over the actions of the aggressor countries. But if you're not going to call the situation what it is, why even bother to say anything at all??

The ruling is over, and though it was not fully what i hoped it would be, it was overwhelmingly supportive of Gaza.

Humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza

Israel will be punished for their Genocide

They are putting in some kind of effort towards the lessening of civilian casualties, and while it is not an entire ceasefire, it is still something.

bonfire - describe your dream house. My dream house is not too small, not too big. Every room painted with in various colours/murals, and covered with paintings. Big kitchen, a darkroom, a workspace where I can paint and create. A big sunroom, and a library with hundreds of books. The outside should be a yellow, mustard yellow.

Maybe a “formkake” recipe, because it’s so versatile. I have so many books with different recipes in them it’s hard to choose one.

My favourite meal might be butter chicken, very basic I know. Especially homemade.
