Atsushi needs reading glasses (based off of all those official arts of him with glasses).

Is he going to buy those glasses? Absolutely not. They're specially made for his eyes, because his eyes are abnormal, like everything about him. Making the reading glasses a little more expensive than the normal pair.

So Atsushi just goes about his life, squinting at things and refusing to buy reading glasses, because why would he buy something for himself when he could spend it on Kyouka-chan or save it?

Atsushi's eyes losing all their light after Kenji's death is just so heartbreaking...

(Given that there's a specific way Harukawa-sensei draws BSD characters' eyes to reflect their mental state, it gets all the more sad to see Atsushi lose the light in his eyes and accept his death.)

This is turning into a proper AU at this point, I can’t stop making these.

It took awhile to figure out what bsd pairing would fit Mizisua based on what I’ve already set up but Shin Soukoku was a decently good match

Also the ‘I find you with your scent’ had me giggling to myself because tiger boy would be able to track him down

“do I look like the type of person who’s visiting a grave”

the reason why it surprised dazai that atsushi stated this despite it being so obvious is because he probably expected atsushi to assume something bad of him or suspect him of having more malicious intentions because that’s what he’s used to, he’s used to ppl assuming the worst of him even when he’s just existing so whenever he’s met with someone like atsushi, who even while knowing he isn’t exactly a good person still chooses to see genuineness behind his actions it leaves him shocked. like yeah i am just visiting a grave, not just any grave either this is the grave of the only other person who I thought would ever see me in such a light but that’s been proven wrong just by atsushi acknowledging the obvious. It’s like proof that he is capable of just being a person and having human emotions, he’s allowed to sit in a grave and visit his friend without ppl misinterpreting this innocent action as something insincere
