Rian Dawson (All Time Low)

A loud crashing sound startles you awake from a pleasant dream. You instinctively reach out to find the spot next to you in bed empty. When you went to bed at midnight Rian still wasn't home, but squinting at the alarm clock you were shocked to see its 5am. Another loud crash reminds you someone was in your house and you didn't know who it was or how many people were downstairs.

Taking a deep breath you carefully throw the bed sheets off and slowly get out of bed trying not to make a sound. You kept a baseball bat just under the bed for those times when Rian wasn't here. Call it paranoia, but you'd watched enough true crime shows to know you could become a target being alone in a nice house.

Creeping out of the bedroom, you're taken aback to see all the lights on downstairs which burglars wouldn't do because they wouldn't want to be seen when committing a crime. Just what was going on down there? So you walk downstairs avoiding the creaky steps.

'Dude be quiet--'

'Shut up Rian.'

Relief washes over you as you recognise Rian and Jack's voices. You weren't being robbed, so you put the bat down against the open doorway leading into the kitchen. You fold your arms across your chest at the scene in front of you.

You clear your throat, 'good morning boys, what's happening?'

The two grown men jump back startled staring at you like deers caught in the headlights. Your eyes are drawn to the half-eaten chocolate cake in between them, the cake you'd only baked earlier in the day.

'Breakfast,' Rian mumbles.

You sigh, 'that's chocolate cake babe.'

Jack shrugs his shoulders grinning like a child, 'your point y/n?'

'It's five in the morning,' you reply with a yawn.

Rian pouts, 'your point y/n?'

It was kind of creepy when the two of them synced up, but right now all you wanted to do was go back to bed so you couldn't care less what they did.

'Okay, eat your cake and then off to bed, good night.'

'Don't you mean good morning babe?' Rian jokes.

You give your partner a colourful finger gesture and leave the kitchen. They were both drunk.

Once back in bed, you pick up your phone to see a new message from Lisa.

LISA: The guys were trying their new wine and had a little too much

Y/N: Rian and Jack are eating chocolate cake in the kitchen. Why do we love these idiots?

LISA: Don't ask me. Alex says hi

Y/N: Say hi back to him, now I'm going back to bed

Putting your phone back on the bedside table you try to get comfortable. Around thirty minutes later Rian stumbles into the bedroom and gets undressed, before climbing into bed with you.

'I love you y/n,' he mumbles quietly.

You can't keep the smile off your face as he cuddles you from behind, 'I love you too, now get some sleep.'

Before you knew it Rian is asleep while you remain awake. Oh, there was going to be hell to pay in a few hours.

Hii. I came here to ask for advice. I got my dream car (CTS Cadillac) within a week of changing the concept of myself (by simply viewing things as easier than I originally made them out to be). Within another week of changing my self concept, I moved into a apartment within ATL. I’ve manifested my boyfriend of 7 years down to his very astrological placements, Ive manifested his role in his job and now he provides everything I need. I continuously manifest thunderstorms. I have manifested skill. When I firsst got my license, I used affirmations to initially get over my anxiety. Ive manifested beauty. Lash growth. Confidence. Interior decoration. Songs to come on the radio. Thousands of dollars worth of makeup products. I say all this to say.. There doesn’t seem to be a day that goes by I am not actively creating. I am very comfortable and love the law of assumption.

However….!!

What can I be doing wrong when it comes to assuming weight loss? Is there a mindset I am missing. I’ve been struggling for years and years. This seems to be my one vice that is struggle to get past. It seems once I lose weight, months and months of work and struggle.. It eventually comes back on me. Thankyou for reading this 💕 I think I just need a mental refresher.

When it comes to this idea that you are “struggling” to manifest weight loss, the issue is not a technique or something you need to do. The issue is your mindset. You are assuming that manifesting weight loss will be more difficult than getting a car, a boyfriend, makeup ect and so it becomes that way. You are already manifesting in this situation, just not the way favourable to you. Weight loss is just as easy to assume in the mind as being rich or travelling for example, it dosent take more mental effort or anything extra of you to even image yourself the way you would like to be seen. Remind yourself that the “size” of the desire does not matter in imagination, because there, all things already are so. Assuming weight loss is just as simple as everything else you’ve done, stop assuming it takes more of you and accept the gift your imagination has given to you. You are already who you want to be. Allow yourself to feel it. Hope this helps 💕

A Quick Note About the Future of This Blog

Hopefully the title didn’t scare you because I’m not going anywhere. There are going to be some changes being made here, though. I changed this blog to an atl blog almost ten years ago to share my fanfiction and talk about Jalex. Inadvertently, this became a discussion blog, which was very fun for a long time. However, there have been many times in which it’s been quite damaging to my mental health (ex. mean anons, jalex shamers, etc.). And while I know none of you have ever meant to upset me, I’ve been carrying the burden of a lot of your reactions to Lisex for the past few years. And the truth is, I can’t do it anymore.

I know that I shouldn’t let them bother me the way that I do, but everything has been exacerbated since the separation, and getting all of these anons about them has, too. I’ve been in a depressive episode for going on three weeks now and all of this Lisex baby drama has made me much, much worse, nearly to the point of relapsing. That’s none of your fault, but I need to take a step back from all of the “gossip” and focus on the good, happy things.

That being said, from now on, I want my blog to just be about things that make me happy. Therefore, we’re pivoting to just the following; Jalex, fanfiction, headcanons and moments, the fic awards, other ships, music, literature, etc. We can still have discussions, but I just can’t put any more energy into things that make me feel this bad. I won’t be answering asks about this stuff anymore, and if I get any, they will just have to be deleted. There are other blogs that discuss this and I can let you know who to follow for that content, but it just can’t be me anymore.

I hope you guys understand and I hope I’m not disappointing anyone, but I have to take care of myself and my mental health. You guys are all very sweet, so I can imagine that all will be fine.

Ray, why? 😭 Addicted to Love, that Bucky deserves the whole world. And I mean the whole world. But...

I'd probably live in Sin on Skin. SOS has hot tattoo artists for one (BAHAHA. I didn't mean to make the initials SOS. 😂). Besides that, Hottie and Sugar show interactions beyond each other and that's important to me. We see Steve, Hal, Jake, Andy, and we may possibly get Ari. Sugar has a supportive best friend and we'll see friendships blossom with the other girls, too. Who wouldn't want to live in that AU?

I'd also have my own successful bakery (if I'm Sugar 😏) and I love that.

And we can just imagine we are variants living out all of these lives and that ATL!Bucky is getting the life he deserves. ❤️

Have you ever / Would you rather

If the Stakebait Coterie all played D&D together what classes would they play? And who would be the DM?

O-oh my gosh thank you for the question! It's my favorite kind - dungeons and dragons + Stakebait!! Straight from the horse's mouth (@thesixthplaneteer ) it goes as such:

Dungeon Master - Sydney aka the Dusk Angel, leader of the Thinblood revolution in ATL and exasperated den mother. No telling where he got the time to run this game but maybe he needs to feel some real control in his life. He is probably always late by maximum half an hour but he's at least always prepared. His stories are always thoughtful and well-put together and he eventually gives everyone what they want.

Ranger - Ralph! Despite his IRL size he's a much better fighter at a distance so that would probably carry into his gameplay. According to thesixthplaneteer he'd be a half-orc. The least optimized person at the table but he's ALWAYS going to play the character he wants. 🥰 I imagine him cracking jokes the entire session but gets scary tactical during combat. And he brought the white claw. (Probably jokes about ERP with Khloe after the session is over... JK! Unless.)

Wizard - Khloe! The chronic overthinker and planner, she'd definitely be a clever spellcaster who would try and use her environment to her advantage because wizards have paper skin and glass bones. While she likes martial classes that's just so many numbers she's not prepared to handle. I think race-wise she might be a human variant like a Genasi! Or perhaps a gnome. Either or. Something where she can be colorful! She probably has dinner for everyone at the table and plenty of snackies. She'd take gameplay INCREDIBLY seriously but would definitely slip into silly shenanigans when prompted.

Fighter - Christian. Human fighter - completely by the numbers made in a generator character sheet. Has probably never played DND in his life but he loves hanging out without his coterie despite his grumpy demeanor so he's "toughing it out" and playing the most generic race+class combo imaginable at the DM's suggestion. He's made fun of it relentlessly by Ralph but he does a good job fighting. He's probably a stoic RP'er who only speaks minimally unless something really interests him, but he at least takes the game seriously enough so everyone still has a good time. He probably brought a giant coffee thermos because he always just got off work before a session. And actual beer because "fuck white claw, goddamnit."

Cleric - Kyle! The forever Healer both in unlife and at the table! He'd be a gorgeous elf of whom he'd already have stunning commissioned artwork of. He also has the highest Charisma at the table and probably has a stable of lovers in every port they visit. All implied of course and nothing explicit at the table. Probably spoke with the DM beforehand about a custom made God that is dubiously aligned morally... bordering on Warlock but he knows the system enough to game it properly. 🤭He and Khloe would be the ones taking the story the MOST serious, Kyle breaking character the least out of the party. Bonus Player: Nyth, Sydney's boyfriend(?) who will randomly join him some sessions to play a various pre-made NPC. He'd probably steal everyone's hearts before bailing halfway to go meet up with his bestie Noa or he'll make the session go on forever for one reason or another. He's a mess and we love him. AH so fun.... THANK YOU!
