Hello and thank you for the ask! I would love to answer some questions about Sir Nastyman.

What are your character's opinions on scars?

It depends on the type of scars. As a mortal they show experience, mistakes and the ability to move past them, but since vampires don't really get scars, it's no longer a good messure of that. Ritual or aesthetic scarification he's neutral on. He personally wouldn't alter his body for appearances but he understands some people put their banner on a pole to be flown while others will put it on their skin. Overall pretty neutral to scars.

What is something your character is proud to own?

Godwynn collects trinkets and trophies from his hunts as a Sabbat Crusader. Mostly minor magical artifacts of the Tremere he's slain. The pride of his collection is his swords. He has kept every sword he has ever used. From the sword he held while being embraced to the one turned into slag by a recent Thinblood assassination attempt. He also has a handwritten and very detailed memoir he keeps locked away until he needs to add to it.

What is your character's favorite kind of social event?

One were he has little to do other than lurk in a corner. He has been in a bodyguard role for a while and social events requiring him to do something other than his job are frustrating. He isn't much of a conversationalist.

Who would your character say knows them best?

Unfortunately, that would be Carver Delroux. The Bishop he was a sworn paladin of that is now a Prince and has dragged Godwynn with him. Carver knows Godwynn far too well and has used it to manipulate him since the moment Carver found him.

Second would be Lyubov. Although they are amicable and seem to have similar understandings to their "relationship" so it's not bothersome to him. Also she's a Temere, so if it becomes not amicable then he feels he could deal with her.

How does your character relax?

Maybe not the best post to go into detail but since he isn't allowed to hunt and eat the Tremere of the city.... it involves a Tremere woman, a dreamscape, and an unhealthy but consensual level of S&M.

Does your character have any injury stories?

There are two moments he received injuries he would consider noteworthy enough to be retold. The time he fell in final battle of The Wars of Roses, which led to him being sheltered by a noble who was a thrall to his soon to be sire. And the time during WW2 he took a stray artillery round with a werewolf after it had torn apart his pack. He often regrets surviving that night but he doesn't tell anyone that part.

"So like, what's the point of all this?"

Ashton stood over her sire as he was leaning over a small pile of paperwork. A death certificate.

"Well now that you're dead, we need to make that official. Can't have ya runnin' around while still legally alive." Reid sighed, adjusting his prosthetic out of the way. He muttered under his breath. "I'll need to get Zacharias to take care of the rest… I don't get any of this."

"It's not like we're going off the grid, why bother?" The fledgling had moved on to laying on the couch in the office, kicking her feet while playing with her phone. They'd need to get her a new phone number too, close her social media. Nothing she'll want to do. They don't even have the security of the shrecknet anymore.

"We bother because otherwise it'll follow ya with nothin' but problems. We interact with society, but we're not really part of it, y'know? Gotta make sure that stays the case." She gave him an unconvinced look. He stood up from his desk, walked to a filing cabinet on the other side of the office, then pulled out and handed her a newspaper.

She looked at it, unimpressed. "An obituary? Really?"

"Take a closer look at it. The names and the date." He poked the paper, pointing to the headline.

Ashton rolled her eyes, but began reading anyway. "... Oh, you even highlighted it. Reid Thomel, right there, perished in the Portland Symphonium fire on... October 6th, 2003? I thought you said you got turned in the 90s." She looked at him incredulously.

"I did, November of '97. Tam celebrates it every year. My point is, my sire didn't teach me jack shit before she left me on my own. I spent almost 6 years dodging normal human society. Doin' stuff like taxes. All because no one realized and no one told me. So I'm tryin' to save you from that." He leaned over to ruffle her hair, to her indignation.

"If you're making such a big deal out of this, shouldn't it have been, I dunno, obvious?" She said while slapping his hand away.

"Well. You know what they say, hindsight is twenty-twenty. But I don't wanna hear that from you, little miss 'why bother'."

i was tagged by @silkenred in this top 5 favorite movie game. and same, picking 5 favorite movies of all time is really hard.

shout out to The Last Unicorn and Black Beauty who didn't make the list but shaped my childhood years. i'd forgotten about the latter existing.

there are so many good movies but i think what ended up making the list is a mix of movies i've been rewatching for years, fascinate me, or shaped/toucher me in some ways. some are also stand-ins for similar types of movies. like Nightcrawler which beat out Fight Club and Drive for me.

actually unbelievable that not a single Ryan Gosling movie made the list 'cause there's so many i love.

-removed the leg of a brujah for trying to steal from her. this brujah is actually a very friendly anarch spc that gets extremely embarrassed whenever someone brings it up.

-actually it is very common for people to go "ooo...sorry to hear" whenever vesper tells people who his sire is. the sheriff...yes...that sheriff told vesper he would walk right into the sun if that was his sire. -she knows amare wanted to embrace vesper so she used to (they get along better now) make it a point to refer to vesper as MY CHILDE when talking to her.

-she is obsessed with making essence of air potions and combining them with obfuscate and turns to people and goes "why the fuck would i walk anywhere if i can fly?" -woke vesper up from torpor and immediately went "maybe you should idk learn to get good?"

-went on a rant about how she could easily take a giant warrior setite and to in fact send two of them after her so she could prove a point since anyone ever dared to doubt her. -one of the few times she has laughed was because vesper told her how he threw an axe at someone when he was pissed off and she just went "heh. nice."
