I made a redesign of Athenas outfit, because I don’t like it 🙃 (feat two sketches, a redraw of her og design and my scribbly notes lol)

I get that they didn’t just want to put her in a suit, but she looks soooo different from Phoenix and Apollo, and it’s not giving lawyer either???

It was hard tho, trying to keep her personality but also keeping it more “proper”. But I’m happy with how it turned out!! Although, I’m not sure how I feel about the shorts, I kinda wish I would have stuck with the skirt I gave her

(Also I have some issues with colours looking different on my computer than on any other device 🙃🙃 It’s mostly the same, but a few things here and there don’t have the exact colour I intended, but ohwell)

My take on a redesign for Athena! I like her canon design just fine but I made a few tweaks to cater it more to character design aspects I like to draw. Plus I’ve just got a personal preference against wearing tights (I hate the texture) so I gave her pants.

And tbh if I could hear so well that I could hear people’s emotions I’d be wearing noise-cancelling headphones all the time. Sure, it’s a useful ability in court, but not when you’re trying to go to bed or just…get groceries or something.

But anyway I love Athena and I want to draw her more, so I did this as a way to figure out how I wanted to draw her

I’ve made some ace attorney redesigns, and let me explain the design choices! (Criticism is appreciated, but keep it constructive)

First is Edgeworth! (There are two versions because I couldn’t decide if I wanted the suit long or not)

So this is when he comes back in Dual Destinies, and I always thought his outfit was a little disappointing. So I gave him gloves, ruffles, a pin (which is his prosecutor’s badge) and a different waistcoat.

This was mostly just to give him a more fancy look, and I think it fits him.

So I didn’t change a lot for these two, but for Apollo I just changed his suit and hair.

But for Athena I gave her pants, because the skirt, leggings and boots did NOT look good together in my opinion. So I gave her black shoes to match with everyone else, and I made her hair a lighter color.
