Satoru huffed the long day away.

The traffic away from Ryomen headquarters was stifling, a sea of red car lights in tandem with each other as though the world just knew that Satoru was trying to come to see you.

He trudged out of the elevator and made his way down the hall to your front door. It wasn't unusual for Satoru to let himself in seeming as he had his own key.

“I’m sorry I’m late, Doll," he opened the door looking down at his feet just as low as he felt. "I got called into an emergency meeting that I couldn’t get out of. My boss is an asshole.”

You said nothing, he noticed you standing right there in the hallway by the living area with a look on your face.

“What?”

A raised brow should have told Satoru everything he needed to know, but he was an idiot right now.

"What's wrong?"

Taking three steps towards him, your eyes darted around at his neck. “Have you been fighting again?”

“Huh?" holy shit how did you find that out with one glance? "No… No course not, baby.”

The glare you gave him was one that screamed 'don't take me for an idiot, Satoru Gojo.'

“There’s blood on your collar.”

Shit.

"Uh..." quick fucking think of something.

The thing was, you knew Satoru's position in the Yakuza, you just didn't approve of it. And yes, you got into a committed relationship with him knowing this, but that didn't stop you from voicing your concerns every now and then.

"Be honest with me, Satoru. How did that blood get there, because I know it wasn't a cut from shaving."

"Shit. I can't lie to you," Satoru slumped and leant against the closed front door, the guilt of even trying to hide anything sank like concrete.

"I can't stop you from doing what you're doing, but I care about your well-being. This fighting isn't healthy. What if-" you stopped yourself and bite down on your lower lip.

"I'm not gonna get injured if that's what you're thinkin' about, Doll."

"You don't know that. You just don't," shaking your head solidified that fact.

Satoru didn't know, however he adopted the whole live fast die young gig long before he ever met you, way before he even joined the Yakuza. It was just how Satoru operated.

Still, your large welling eyes stopped Satoru right where he was. "I'm sorry."

What else could he say right now that wasn't going to make you cry further? Nothing really, so he came over and pulled you close to him.

Maybe he could tone it down a bit, try this stupid method Sukuna suggested at the meeting and gather intel before smashing skulls. It just wasn't as fun though, was it?

However Captain Yaga would be back soon and then Satoru really would have to behave.

"How can I make it up to you?"

Looking up at him, he could see how red your eyes actually were. "It's not about making up, Satoru. It's promising to take care of yourself."

He nodded without hesitation. "Alright, I promise."

In honesty, you were the perfect person to balance out his pointed edges. And despite how far he wanted to go with people sometimes, most of the time it was only really you he wanted to impress and keep happy.

Everyone else could suck it.

So this is similar to my spouses' time travel au but instead of just them remembering the Bridgertons also remember and of course they got no chill. It's not officially part of the au, I just want to make myself giggle with a what if.

Anthony Bridgerton had woken up alone in his bed in the Bridgerton House. He was confused at first because usually he would wake up beside his beautiful wife, but there were times she had early meetings to get to. Was today one of those days? She must have left a while ago because her side of the bed was cold. Who was his wife-

Five screams tore Anthony out of his thoughts and had him darting out of his bed. None of those screams sounded anything like his children so who-?

Seven doors were thrown open at the same time and Anthony was faced with five of his much younger looking siblings and their mother, who looked like the other shoe finally dropped. 

What were his siblings doing in his house? Don’t they all have their own homes and families to bother? And how the hell do they all look so much younger? If Anthony didn’t know any better, he would say they were at ages when Daphne had her first season. All of them copied Anthony’s look of suspicion.  And where was Kate? Is she part of this elaborate prank? Were his other in-laws involved too? 

Before any of the siblings could start blaming one another Violet calls a family meeting in the drawing room. Her six oldest children following behind her. 

“First tell me what was the last thing you all remember?” Violet asked as they all settled in. 

The answer was the same among the six siblings, Gregory’s wedding and them welcoming Lucy to the family. 

Violet nodded. “At least you all came from the same time.”

“Mother what are you talking about?” Anthony asked.

Violet sighed, bracing herself. “The year is no longer 1827, it is now 1813, the season will be starting again in a few months.”

The six siblings sat stunned, all of them staring at their mother. Daphne was the one to break the silence, her voice sounding scared. “Mother this is not funny. Please whatever elaborate prank our spouses or Gregory and Hyacinth are pulling it must stop.” 

Before Violet could say anything else the arguing voices of a twelve year old Gregory and a ten year old Hyacinth fill their siblings ears as they rush past the drawing room. 

That could certainly not be faked. 

The drawing room bursted into chaos. Colin started pacing by a window. Francesca sunk lower into her seat, grabbing onto Eloise and keeping her in place. Benedict started playing with hands as if he wasn’t sure what to do with them. Anthony is staring at a wall, and Daphne is burying her face in her hands. 

“My children don’t exist,” Daphne mumbled to herself, “and my husband is currently not my husband.”

“At least Simon comes this year, and you don’t have to wait another eleven years,” Eloise argued as she continued to hold onto Francesca. 

“Eloise!” Violet snapped. “I’m sure this can’t be easy for any of you. You do not need to take out on one another.” 

Colin stopped pacing and just stared out the window, bewildered. Benedict taking notice of his younger brother joined him at the window and then he too was staring. 

“I think I'm hallucinating,” Colin said. 

“I don’t think it’s possible to have the same hallucinations,’ Benedict replied, eyes still glued to the window. 

“I say what the devil are you two looking at?” Anthony joined at the window, and then joined the staring. 

Now curious Violet and the girls also took a peak out the window. The view of the window put the Featherington House insight. Getting out of two carriages marked with Lady Danbury’s crest was their spouses. Kate, Sophie, and Penelope were giggling at the boys as they stepped out of one carriage. In the other carriage Phillip stumbled onto Simon after Michael accidentally tripped him. 

Five seconds later all six siblings were scrambling towards the door with Violet chasing after them.  

“Don’t you dare leave this house! None of you are dressed! Don’t make me drag you back by your ears!”

okay so like, pretty much all my art is someone else's fault. i stand by this. this is the fault of @antique-forvalaka (henceforth siv). blame or thank her. she just showed up unprovoked and was like, "fem!wkx has a flat ass and fem!zzs is big tiddy tomboy," and i was like, "umm???" what was i meant to do? NOT draw them? it's a modern au because i don't fuck with drawing hanfu.

most of these were drawn when i was too sick to write and lemme tell you i 100% underestimated the effect of a cough on drawing art. the lineart on wkx's piece took me so fucking long. i even had to go back in and redo bits of it. that's why some of it looks wonky but shhhh don't look.

this was the first one i started drawing, and then i nearly gave up because zzh's face is the fucking worst to draw. like, i even tried tracing a still and it still didn't look like him. okay, thots:

f!zzs has long hair that she takes relatively good care of but she pretty much always just ties up and ignores

she keeps it long because she sometimes does infiltration missions and it's helpful to appear super feminine

she knows how to be pretty and well presented but she literally never gives a shit

left alone she will happily sit in a sports bra and panties and eat ramen

oh yeah when she's lying low after leaving tc she disguises herself as a male vagabond. @luckydragon10 is very attached to f!zzs's fake stubble.

the hoodie look is an adaptation of my favourite zzs look from woh which is the meili look. look i am a simple woman, put the characters in a veiled hat and my brain just goes hrrrrnnnnng.

oh hello other actor in this drama who is incredibly fucking hard to draw. luckily i had already drawn modern wkx before so i was a bit more used to his face. okay, some more thots:

the first one i drew was the big profile which is labelled in the csp file as tiddies out wkx

in my head f!wkx has a flat ass and flat chest bc siv said so, but she wishes she were curvy like wkx

she's very much styled after a femme fatale, emphasis on the fatal

she's pretty much always immaculately turned out, perfect make-up, perfect clothes, all very expensive

i had to draw her in stockings and garter belt. i just had to. also that lace texture killed me and took me like half of wanda//vision (which i was watching in the background) to get right

part of the reason i even did modern au was because i wanted to draw wkx with a sniper rifle

on that note the sniper rifle is traced from a photo bc i am lazy and at that point was very ill

fave wkx is angery wkx up in the top right corner. i drew her last.

one big regret that i didn't draw her splattered in blood and smirking like lelouch from code geass. i just think that would be neat.

this was the last set of these that i drew and i had to think long and hard about what to do for her. i knew i wanted her to be shorter than zzs but curvier than wkx but that was literally it

originally when i started drawing f!hy i gave her short curly hair, like close to a pixie cut, but i couldn't make it look right, so i went back to siv and extracted her suggestion of a side cut or undercut

in my head, hy and zzs run two-man missions all the time, with zzs as front woman and hy as tactical support/getaway driver

siv said to me that she sees wkx playing dress-up with hy bc hy is more receptive to it than zzs and i was like oh yes so that's why there's a little classy hy over on the right

also the more i drew f!hy with her little undercut and sweats i realised she looked like a fuckboi and i was here for it

special shout out to my favourite tac gear item: the throat mic. they're just so sexy. don't come at me.

shout out to fancy dress ass-kicking hy. the backstory here is that wkx put her in a pretty dress for a nice evening out only for it to devolve into a battlefield so hy takes off her heels and just starts blasting.

oh yeah special shout out here bc my brain was just like "play with the colours" so i did and now there is no consistent colouring for this set.

Hello, I'm the person fascinated by the implications of the Mystery Skulls au!! I'm a little rusty on my lore, but I'm mostly spinning False as Arthur in my brain- Falsie being jealous of Pearl enough to let the spirit possess her (if we're doing a one to one). And I'm so curious about who Shiromori is in this au!! I'm just!! Sorry, my brain is Bad at articulating but ultimately I'm just very excited about this whole concept!!

and yeah, for the most part this au is pretty much one-to-one with the source material– tho i do have something to add for the jealousy bit! this is mostly just my own interpretation, and this could just be me being aro and not quite getting love stuff,, but i always saw arthur as not jealous of lewis,, but more just not wanting to be left out/a third-wheel. or maybe he is jealous, but not specifically of lewis– but instead, of the fact that the two tend to focus on each other, even when arthur's around.

cuz like,, mans got kicked to the backseat of his Own Van in favor of lewis, vivi, and her Dog. they let the DOG get shotgun instead of arthur. plus, in hellbent, you see a few stills of lewis and vivi being lovey-dovey to each other, with arthur sulking in the background. hell, in one of them, you see vivi looking past arthur, ignoring him in favor of waving to an out of frame lewis.

i don't think the two intended to make arthur feel left out,, they still hang out with him, so obviously they still care about him– it's just that,, i imagine they're prolly in some honeymoon sort of phase in their relationship,, maybe they just started dating and all they can really think about is how much they love each other. probably. again, idk how love works, so- take this with a grain of salt. i just find this interpretation much more interesting, personally!

so, yeah– pretty much all of what i said applies to this au! minus the romance bits, potentially? maybe? gonna be honest i don't really have a strong opinion one way or another in regards to shipping in this au. but either way, false was feeling left out of the group,, and because of that, got herself possessed by a demon(cuz that's prolly what reverb/the thing that possessed arthur is, not just some random spirit,, what with the horns and the webbed wings and stuff in his profile),,,

as for shiromori..... i'm still on the fence, tbh? my first thought was bdubs,, cuz like. they're both plants(sorta),, and he's got a connection to etho like shiromori does to mystery,,, but... i was also thinking about maybe having joel as her, instead? there's the etho connection, of course,, plus there's joel's whole theme for season 10! i feel like either would fit,,,

i suppose there's also the connection to vivi/her ancestor to consider, as well... so far i'm thinking the mushi equivalent in this au is prolly just another version of gem? maybe from empires? but i'm open to suggestions! i'm unsure about joel, but i do know that gem and bdubs have interacted secret life series before!usually in (lightheartedly) negative ways, from what i've seen,, so that could be another point to bdubs.

i havent been into it for too long but im kinda surprised i havent seen a harrykim good ol classic florist and tattoo artist au

like yeah im not so sure how the logic of either of them being in those proffessions would work but im talking mostly aesthetics here

like. harry being a florist just. does something to me. like when kim is like he needs hobbies if you get the gardening gloves he suggest gardening is just very good. maybe its a bit of like instead of becoming a teacher first hes a florist first and stays there. or when he was a teacher they had some of a garden in there and he learned and then maybe got a part time job at a florist to support him on his teacher salary bc those usually arent enough. also i think he still has at least some of his adiction issues but not necesarily to the in game level (maybe amphetamines to be able to keep up with his lifestyle also maybe he grows weed but less relevant until later). and maybe he actually got to marry dora and is actually divorced here. working too much, not making enough money, and when back at home hes still an addict, maybe the relationship lasted more but still it never got good enough to keep.

and kim... theres a few options. either undercover just being on the tattoo shop somehow which is like. not the most sense making but still a possibility. or.. he never became a cop, either, got too disappoined by the system early on, noticed the injustice, but realized that it didnt matter what he did it wouldnt be enough. or he did join the rcm for a bit and then quit bc of that, maybe also eyes died in here too and that was the last straw for him leaving. maybe hes not necesarily the guy doing the tattoos, but more of the designs and piercings (i assume its a million times easier doing piercings than tattoos. i dont mean that it doesnt require a technique too tho but getting a needle through skin for a piercing seems easier than having the pulse to work on a permanent piece in someones skin with specific pressure with consistence, and if he was a cop and quit maybe he has shakier hands.... idk. i dont know how stuff like this works generally ngl. also idk. can you have a tattoo.. parlor? and do designs but not the tattoos themselves? id assume you can but no idea)

ok yeah something like that maybe. and also the shops are either side by side or right across the street. i can imagine harry walking through the tattoo parlor and looking at the designs and looking at a few plant based designs and liking them and just. going in. not exactly for a tattoo or anything but more to like. know how it is and maybe meet the artist and then he sees kim which i imagine with a lot of tattoos and piercings which is sort of whats fueling this at this point bc i wasnt gonna think about it for too long but now im too deep into it and like i imagine this kim as.. kind of distant as he tends to be, will try to hide the fact he was a cop bc at this point hes not proud of that, he just likes making designs while listening to speedfreaks fm, which you can hear from outside the parlor while walking on the streets, but he is cool, and if you talk to him he will talk to you, hes just maybe awkward but also he is kinda weird (which has harry like 👉👈)
