Golden boy has entered his rebellious phase. Kind of...

I'm a sucker for "DR Asriel and Chara as college buddies" stories, as you can tell. Had this idea swimming in my brain for a while now and really had to get it out.

You can consider this a Twin Runes Mini

Asriel will play such a minor role later on, that I really wanted to give him a comic on his own. Kinda wanted to explore how his "golden boy" persona would clash with his new "college" persona now that he was free from his town's expectations.

probably a weird read of all the mending rune endings but I feel like Marika guided a Tarnished of no renown to become the next Elden Lord because, should the new Age still has her as a God, at least the new Lord would not prioritize their feelings for her over the world anymore (like Godfrey & Radagon did).

as Ansbach said “a Lord not for Gods, but for men”.

She’s already a really flawed God with too much love and hatred and humanity even after her ascension, a God who is willing to break rules for her loved ones (at least from my interpretation), and 2 previous Lords are…too involved with her. No matter if one interprets that as love or duty, you can’t deny those two guys act in accordance with their interest in her. Look how well that turned out.

So I feel like the reason a random Tarnished got the chance to become the next Lord is because Marika wanted them to know the Lands Between first, to love this land & the life within on their own term, with their own journey separate from her.

We don’t need to love or to know her at all.

And so she can trust us to always choose the greater good over her.

(But joke is on her I’ll suck af as a Lord I love her too much I’ll literally just be Godfrey Radagon 2.0 😭😭)

yesterday while hanging out with my coworkers after work i told them (we were all tipsy for context) that id like to throw a house party but my biggest fear is that no one would show up and so today they made a group chat to have a party at my house 🥺

Genuinely the best thing that could happen with Furina's story at this point is that she never shows up again. And I would not blame her, if the traveller ever like. Tries to reach out to her again and she is just completely reticent and refuses to help because the last time she agreed to help any sort of grand plan she lived in constant fear for 500 years. And she is just a regular fucking person. Like that is the real tragedy of furina's story. she lived in constant fear of being found out for 500 years and the whole time she was a perfectly normal human being. She had no godly strength of character. She survived that on her determination to save fontaine alone. Like truly. She has suffered enough.

Right so valentines day is getting closer and im in the middle of the worst fucking art block idk if ill be able to draw something but i can at least share a lil idea i had:

fake dating au but make it aroace. i love fake dating aus.

so aroace scar who gets invited to like a family dinner or something and he kinda wants to go but also knows his parents will definitely want to know if hes seeing someone or if he wants to settle down with someone or something and scar does not want to listen to a lecture about how he'll find someone one day and how lonely he must be etc. if he says hes doesnt have a partner.

so he asks one of his friends to pretend to date him for the night. Maybe its grian or mumbo or gem or cub or anyone. doesnt matter really.

And surprisingly they have fun. They think the evening is fun and they strangely enjoy playing a couple.

So maybe when theyre back home on the server or wherever Scar admits it was fun and that he'd actually like to have them as a queerplatonic partner.

One thing people should point out when explaining the evils of makeup is the amount of time it takes. It takes ages! And I know people that are really proficient at it can put it all on in ten minutes, but that's still ten minutes of your morning routine. A slow breakfast takes ten minutes, ten more minutes in bed take ten minutes, all way healthier things than putting on makeup
