Since I did one for my first farmer, I obviously had to do one for my second. We don’t play favorites in this house (except we totally do, I love her sm)
Her name is Jeannie, and she’s a half vampire on her dad’s side. Other than her appearance, vampirism hasn’t really affected her life that much, she just has to deal with a mild garlic allergy and getting sunburnt real easy. She also ages a tad slower than a normal person, but she does still age
#i admittedly got a little tired of working on it so it’s kinda half finished#sorry about that#but that means I get to move onto drawing more Mr Qi#I’m still really salty abt not getting to marry him#at least I have krobus#also. kinda torn between picking a father for her#idk if I want her dad to be the count from Sesame Street or Nosferatu#tbh I didn’t know she was a half vampire until I started drawing her because I felt the need to justify her purple skin#I didn’t want her to be a full vampire tho bc#ya know being a farmer in the sun all day might be bad for her health#anyway#sdv#stardew valley#my art#sdv farmer#my oc#sdv mr qi#Mr qi is hard to draw dude. I think it’s the hat that throws me off the most but man#I started over with him like 4 times

learning abt friendship decay and "not reaching out to your friends for months at a time unprompted is not neurotypical behaviour" has me feeling a certain way
#experiencing some BIG FEELINGS OVER THIS REVELATION#listen i have never ever been bothered abt not seeing someone in a while or making time to talk to them bc in my mind its like not thst muc#time has passed. i mean it with every fibre of my being that when im like 'oh its ok even though we havent talked in a while and have our#own things going on it doesnt mean we're not friends anymore since we left things on a good note 8 months ago' i sincerely believe that#and for the longest time i just thought everybody makes peace with it at some point and not automatically assuming the other person doesnt#wanna talk to me anymore or smth. my longest lasting friendships are with ppl who work the same way i just thouhght that was normal#whatever organ everybody has that makes them reach out to their friends and plan hang outs i probably dont have it#i was already hesitant to ask out Alex bc i spend almost every waking hour doing smth that isnt talking to ppl unless they happen to be in#the vicinity. and at first it was bc i planned on making sure i had everything set up so i dont get stressed out and do it one at a time#but then i find out theres a friendship decay mechanic? and after dating and marrying someone you lose -10 friendship points for every#day u dont talk to them?? actually ive probably been losing friendship points this whole time without knowing bc of this?????#and i notice a lot of my own habits are also reflected in how i play bc ive been avoiding getting close to pierre and marnie since its more#of a professional relationship. like i know theyre npcs but im approaching it the way i would in real life its fucking nuts#i think its a little relieving im playing /as/ a character than myself bc as im playing im just making up little interactions in my head#than approaching things the way i would myself so it takes a bit of the stress off trying to put myself in there as a spectator. but well#being in a relationship demands a certain amount of energy even more so when theyre things that already take up energy on its own#like making time to talk to your partner and make sure they know theyre loved. i dont always have energy to put all my mental focus into it#and this is true for real life so im not really bothered by not dating anyone. but when its a game and i want my character to be with someo#and i know its fully optional and i know i could just apply the same logic to this i dont /want/ to. sometimes i want to experience#the same things other people do at least to a certain degree without the same emotional andmental stakes#no offense krobus#yapping#stardew#stardew valley#puppy plays sdv#sdv#this game has me by the ankles man

strong sdve opinions i fear
#sdve#lance. until camilla is marriageable i will find you and i will marry you in every universe.#i've never married anyone else bc i think the romance part of the game is boring and marriage ruins the vanilla npc's personalities#but lance is fun and suave and takes you places and keeps his job when he gets married. like what's not to love.#tbh the friendship mechanic is the least interesting part of the game to me#there's a reason i have a high tier for characters who give me quests. esp combat quests. i love a sdv combat quest.#marlon gets bumped up for sheer volume of plot relevant quests and genuine incentive for friendship (getting to use his boat)#now sophia sdve. i hate you forever and ever.#never forget that time i spoke to her and she said 'what should i do today? snacks or anime? how about both 🤪 definitely both'#😐#SORRY she just talks like a middle schooler and has the tragic backstory and interests of a character a middle schooler would write#apples is my nemesis for making me cultivate 200 starfruit just for the pleasure of making me give them more starfruit#and krobus. sorry. krobus' vibe just bugs me. we would not hang.#shane. do not see the appeal. i do not want to fix you or give you a room in my house for you to make butt ugly with dogshit decor.

Cant help but notice krubus stardew in the requests,,, so if i may,,,
How about a oneshot/headcanons, whichever ya think works better, for a farmer Reader who's roommates with Krobus, and Shane ends up visiting the farm, and accidentally finds Krobus and the reader is trying their best to calm the situation down or smthn? :]
Ofc you dont have to do this!!
Salt anon (have a good day also!!! always lovely to see ya on my dash :] )
YES MY TWO FAVES <3333
Got carried away but I had so many ideas for this one
.......
'I should check the coop. The void chicken could be hungry, and [y/n] may appreciate me stepping up. But...what if a human saw me? Oh Yoba...I hope there's no surprise visitors today..'
As Krobus paced around your cabin, he kept looking outside the window at the snowfall, the coop just within his sights. It was the second day of winter, and all of the animals you've been raising were huddled inside for the season, the hay keeping their bellies full.
But something told him that the void chicken you recently introduced to the farm felt lonely, a misfit among the "normal" chickens. She wasn't too sociable around them, and that worried Krobus.
Of course he, of all people, could understand why.
To this very day, the shadow monster couldn't fathom why you'd take him into your home..when his existence alone scared humanity and could damage your reputation with the town.
What would the villagers think if they learned you're housing a beast who once dwelled in the mines?
Many weren't anywhere near as brave as you were when it comes to venturing deep into shadow monster territory....and the few who had the guts to made it their personal mission to slay as many of his people as possible.
Or at least..what remained of them after the elemental wars.
Surprisingly enough, some of the brutes began visiting your farmland at night, and Krobus would see them hiding in the foliage, behind trees..or even rummaging through your crops, yet never taking anything for themselves.
He wishes he could greet them normally, ask what drew them to the surface, or try to reason that you're a good human who shouldn't be attacked.
Yet in the back of his mind...he feared being branded a traitor for siding with the species that hurt so many of his own people.
What would they do if they noticed his pendant and realized a human gifted it to him?
Surely they would freak out, coerce him into coming back to the mines where it was "safe"...or worse, they'd kill you and make him watch. He couldn't let his presence be known, lest they discovered you were housing him and destroyed the life you built here.
You would think he betrayed you and brought a siege upon your land--after all you've done to shelter him from the cruelty of the world.
Not even Yoba would forgive such a sin.
Even though he felt his connection with his people drifting with each passing week, he was content with his choice to live with you. He wouldn't trade your kindness and generosity for the world.
Plus, you've told him over and over that you knew what you were signing up for. You knew it when you first bought a void egg from him. You knew it when you and the wizard broke up his fight with Dwarf. You knew it when you created a space in your home that suited his environmental needs.
All he could offer you was a stardrop in return, but it was more than enough for you.
Krobus vowed to contribute to the farm's many tasks how ever he could..when it safe for him to step outside of course.
On this cold winter's day, he figured checking out the coop would be a great first step.
He peeked into your bedroom, discovering you to be sound asleep and looking rather peaceful.
Indeed, it was a stark contrast to how battered and bruised you were last night, having returned from the Skull Caverns at midnight. None of his people ventured there, considering the desert climate would be unbearable for them to live in, but while sharing meals he'd listen to your tales of serpents, mummies, and even dinosaurs living down below.
By comparison..the monsters in the mines seemed tamer and were somewhat civilized, and at his request you managed to avoid fighting them if you could.
The beasts you encountered in the Skull Caverns were brutal and unforgiving, and you had no choice but to defend yourself.
This trip in particular took quite a toll on your body, as you had to use a warp totem to get home...and even then, you were limping from sheer exhaustion. So much so Krobus had to assist you up the stairs and into your bed. He ran the the risk of being seen, yet his concern over your health took priority.
Sleep didn't easily come for him, but it only did after he prayed and thanked Yoba for bringing you home.
He didn't like the idea of you pushing yourself to work so early in the morning, so he decided he'll help lighten that load.
Starting with the coop.
Opening the door, he breathed in the crisp winter air, relieved to not see any humans in sight. There was your pet, who was initially frightened by his sudden arrival, but now warmly greeted him as they climbed the steps.
Krobus laughed softly, crouching down to pet them. "Good morning, little one." He whispered. "Enjoying the snow? I like it very much..but I can't say our chicken friends will agree."
He stood and continued on his way to the small building, eager to check up on your animals and see to it that they're fed.
But unbeknownst to him, a human arrived onto your farmland at that same moment, only seeing a dark figure creeping into the coop.
And he just so-happened to be the man who cared for chickens more than life itself.
......
Shane arrived at your farm, holding a small envelope with a letter inside. It contained a recipe for some dessert--not one that he made or discovered, of course, but rather one he tore out of a magazine.
His first thought was of you, knowing you liked gathering fresh produce and made your own meals..compared to him, a lazy bum who microwaves processed garbage in a plastic dish and called it "dinner."
It wasn't much, but it was the least he could do for a friend who pulled him out of such a dark place..
You were taking a shortcut to the sewer when you found him near the cliffs...where he was truly at his lowest. He doesn't remember much of what he said, but you told him that he considered ending his own life, yet changed his mind after you told him some comforting words.
All the strength you've gained down in the mines allowed you to drag him to the hospital, where you stayed by his side the entire night. Even when Harvey assured you he'll be okay, you refused to abandon him.
Shane never thought anybody in this town would care if he just up and disappeared, yet despite his rudeness towards you...you managed to break down his walls and show him that you cared.
And all it took were some peppers, pizza, eggs, and stupid amounts of persistence.
It really hit him that he almost did something he couldn't reverse..and he never wanted you, Jas, or Marnie to see him get that bad again.
So he promised to make some serious changes, see that counselor Harvey recommended to him, and cut back on the hours he spends at the saloon after work.
The last time you both talked, you mentioned Robin upgrading your coop's space, and Shane was thrilled. So he figured he'd come visit and see how the animals were doing in this cold weather.
He was also curious about that "void egg" you got from a merchant...and he wondered who it was if not Marnie.
Obviously he'd feel like a jerk if he came emptyhanded, or awkward if you weren't actually home right now, thus he decided to bring the letter and recipe just in case. A small surprise "gift" for you to come back to later.
As he approached your mailbox, however, he noticed a dark figure opening the door to your coop. He couldn't tell who it was as they quickly went inside, as though afraid of being seen.
Maybe it was the lack of sleep making him see things, but-
"Huh? What kinda tracks are these..?" He looked down, finding footprints in the snow that didn't belong to any human's.
In fact, they seemed to have clawed toes..
Just like a monster's.
At the saloon, you recounted tales of how you've encountered slimes, plant monsters, bats, and even shadow creatures on your farmland at night--as well as your adventures down in the mines with skeletons, ghosts, and more.
Most of the regulars were 99% certain you were drunk, but others believed your stories and were fascinated by them, as you'd show them gems as proof of your excursions. Sebastian in particular was intrigued by the frozen tear you discovered, flattered that you allowed him to keep it.
Shane, on the other hand, merely dismissed your tales with a "buh" and an eyeroll before sipping away at his beer. He was never a strong believer in the supernatural..convinced that only slimes, rock crabs, flies, and bats dwelled in the mines and nothing else.
Living Skeletons? Metal Heads?? Shadow Shamans???
You HAD to be either drunk, on drugs, or both at the same time.
Although he's become more open-minded to your stories since befriending you, he was still skeptical...yet the footprints he was seeing in the snow didn't match up to any animal he knew in the valley.
Whatever it was, it must've figured out that your coop was an all-you-can-eat-buffet.
That thought alone made him break out into a cold sweat, picking up a stone before rushing towards the building. He didn't hear any noise inside, and that made him all the more concerned.
You helped him when he needed it most, and now he'll repay you by defending your chickens...even though he knew nothing about fighting monsters.
Upon opening the door, he was stunned to find a shadowy humanoid creature holding your void chicken in its arms. It had a goopy smile on its face, looking down at the bird-
Before there was a furious shout.
"HEY! Put that chicken down!"
.........
"HEY! Put that chicken down!"
Just as you were tuning into the Oracle's channel on TV, you were startled by the sound of Shane yelling at someone-
Wait..
'What's Shane doing on my farm? And at this hour, too?? I thought he sleeps in all the time..' Your eyebrows furrowed as you looked around the house.
"Krobus? You in here? I may have a visitor."
No response.
You checked the monster's room, and sure enough didn't find him in there.
Normally he'd freak out and hide beneath your bed if he even caught a glimpse of a human outside. You'd always tell him ahead of time if a friend was coming to visit just so he knew when and how long to stay hidden.
Of course, you never liked having to keep Krobus a secret, yet you understood why he believed that was for the best. He was so, so afraid to go with you even after gifting him the void ghost pendant--a precious amulet from his culture, symbolizing unity and devotion to another.
His worst fear was you being shunned and getting hurt because of him. But you promised to make things work, and so far you've had no problems.
The only other place he'd go besides your cabin was the coop, having grown fond of the animals there and the void chicken you were raising. The winter allowed him to bond with them.
But if he's there right now..and you just heard Shane yell, then-
'Oh fuck.'
Throwing on your boots and jacket, you rushed out the door, damn near slipping on the pathway to the coop.
You opened the door, finding Shane staring down your terrified roommate with anger, ready to throw a stone at who he believed was a monster trying to eat your livestock.
But as he reeled his arm back, he was confused by your hand grabbing his wrist. "Huh?! Hey! Let go!" He grunted.
"Shane, what the hell are you doing?!"
For a moment, he blinked and stared at you as though you had several heads. "What does it look like? I'm....that thing was trying to eat your chickens!" He pointed to Krobus, who was now curled up in the corner, having let go of the void chicken long ago.
"That's one of the monsters you were talking about, right? Don't you have a sword or something that could-?"
"He's not a threat."
Shane froze. "..huh?"
"His name is Krobus. He's a shadow person I met in the sewers." Letting him go, you opted to stand between the two. Krobus immediately got up and latched onto your shirt, hiding behind you for protection.
"The sewers? Jas and Vincent said they saw a monster through the grates, but I thought it was some imaginary friend."
"Well news flash, he's real. And right now he's more scared of you." You huffed. "Now please..put the rock down."
After some hesitance, he complied and dropped the stone. "Fine..sorry. I thought it--he was trying to-"
"I would never harm one of Yoba's precious creatures!" Krobus snapped, despite his voice trembling. "Especially not one that [y/n] so lovingly raised."
"You...understand what I'm saying?" Shane looked astonished.
"Of course.." The shadow monster calmed down a little, but redirected his anger to you. "You..we had an agreement. You promised to tell me if someone was coming."
"I didn't know he was here at all." You frowned. "You could've told me you were checking out the coop."
"But you were so weary from last night, and I thought you'd appreciate sleeping in-!"
"Look..if it helps, I can just leave and pretend none of this ever happened."
Both of you looked at Shane, who was slowly making his way to the door, only for him to stop as you sighed.
There's no way you could hide this now..
"Stay. This isn't something you can "pretend" never happened. Let's all head back to my house and I'll explain everything. Maybe we can come to an understanding without any violence. Whatdya say, boys?"
Shane and Krobus briefly glanced at each other, before silently nodding.
.........
"So basically...you got chased out of your home by Dwarves, had some great war with them, got cozy in the sewers...and [y/n] just...stumbled upon you?"
"Erm..slight correction, the local librarian had a key to the sewers, which [y/n] obtained. And only then they stumbled upon me-"
"After I donated like 60 artifacts to the museum, of course." You added on as you stood by the oven, watching the timer.
For a brief moment, you looked back at the two people sitting awkwardly at the table:
Shane, who was still wondering if the shadow monster sitting across from him was really a monster, a hallucination from his withdrawals, or just..someone in a SUPER convincing costume.
And Krobus, who stared at this scruffy, tired man who desperately needed a shave and a new jacket--the only other human he's spoken to aside from you and Rasmodius.
"Wow..I'd say I need a drink, but um..I'm in recovery right now. So I gotta cut back on those." Shane admitted, scratching awkwardly at his hair. "Do you like living on this farm with [y/n], Krobus?"
"It was...a difficult transition. Something I never expected to happen." He fidgeted with the pendant around his neck. "Our existence..terrifies humans. They attacked us when we came to the surface to make peace, so we stopped and hid back underground. We learned the world wasn't kind to those who were different. But [y/n] showed me that not all of them are like that...and I'm grateful for all they've done for me. I don't regret my choice.."
Then he looked to you, suddenly bashful. "A-As long as they don't regret it, of course..sometimes I feel like all of this is a dream. Or some foolish prank.."
"It's no dream or prank, Krob. I have no regrets becoming your friend." You smiled and patted the monster's head reassuringly, before glancing at Shane. "Just like I don't regret befriending this guy."
"Yeah..I was uh..in a pretty bad place myself." He mumbled, suddenly finding the weather outside more interesting.
"You said your name was "Shane", right?"
He blinked, looking back to Krobus. "Uh yeah?"
"Did you know that means "gift from Yoba"?" His eyes lit up, smiling from ear-to-ear as he clasped his hands together. "You should be proud of it! You are a blessed child of.....um...what's with that look?"
Shane's expression abruptly shifted to one of discomfort, and he couldn't help but shrink back. "Did..I say something wrong? W-Was I out of line?"
"No, no. I probably should've mentioned this sooner, but I'm actually atheist."
"....as in...you don't believe in Yoba?"
Reluctantly, Shane nodded and averted his gaze once more, expecting some kind of lecture or change in his friendly tone that would make this his first and last conversation with him.
Nobody liked it when he mentioned how he stopped believing in Yoba long ago, especially after what happened with Jas' parents and how his life just plummeted into a downward spiral since then. He feels like his name was cruel joke, and he had a pit in his stomach whenever he was reminded of it.
So now he was fully expecting this devout monster to spew something vile and call him a "horrible nonbeliever"-
"Why the guilty face?"
"..wha?" He did a double-take, seeing Krobus' smile return.
"I've observed humans long enough to understand their religious preferences, or lack thereof. We have our beliefs, and you have yours..and that is okay." He reassured. "No need to feel ashamed, Shane."
It took the man a few moments to process his words..before a small smile appeared on his face as well, shoulders less tense than before. "Whew..thanks. Seriously..you're somehow more understanding than all the people in my life." He chuckled dryly.
Krobus was about to respond, when the ding from your kitchen timer made the two pause their conversation, seeing you take something out of the oven.
It was a dessert that had a shimmering purple hue.
"Oh hey..you actually made it?" Shane blinked. "The infamous "Strange Bun"?"
"Yep! It actually looks pretty.." You smiled, setting it on the stove so it could cool down. "I almost don't wanna eat it...but I'm sure we can split it three ways."
"I recognize that dessert." Krobus gasped. "It's considered a delicacy among my people! How I've longed to taste it again....but how did you come to possess its recipe?" He looked to Shane, who simply dug out a crumpled magazine page from his pocket.
"Right here. It looked good, and [y/n] likes cooking stuff and finding the ingredients themselves..so I figured it's something new they could try."
"And it came out fantastic." You chuckled, bringing over plates of the strange bun and sitting down at the table, passing them to your friends. "Dig in, boys."
While Krobus was actively drooling and devouring it with his bare hands, you took a few bites and instantly felt rejuvenated....whereas Shane kept awkwardly poking at it with a fork, eyebrows furrowed.
"You sure this is safe to eat? Like..I'm not gonna keel over, am I?"
"...you're acting like Jas when she doesn't wanna eat her vegetables."
".....shut it." With a grumble, he rolled his eyes before finally taking a couple bites. You and Krobus watched him in anticipation, studying his reaction.
Only to be met with disappointment.
"Eh..I think I'll stick to frozen pizzas, but thanks. Here. It's all yours." He pushed the half-eaten bun towards Krobus, who gleefully finished it up.
"Thank you..this was delightful." The shadow monster swallowed, looking up at you both, frowning slightly. "But I do fear..now that one more person knows of my existence, word may spread to the town and-"
"I won't tell anyone."
"....really?" He looked at Shane, surprised.
"I used to not believe in "shadow people"..I actually thought you guys were just stuff of fiction. But no, you're actually pretty cool. And...I get that feeling of being stuck in a dark place, thinking you're a pest and a burden who has no future to look forward to. It sucks, but [y/n] here..." He paused and gestured to you with a smile. "They pulled me out of that funk, and it seems they'd pulled you out of one, too."
"They have..I-I find this hard to believe, but it seems we have more in common than I first thought." Krobus chuckled softly. "I'm glad we could come to an understanding, and that you embrace my existence, Shane."
"Yeah, uh...glad you can..embrace mine as well." He mumbled, already kicking himself mentally for how weird that sounded. "But tell me..you like caring for chickens, too? I saw that one with the black feathers and red eyes."
"Indeed, that is a void chicken! I've carried their eggs for ages, but the mines weren't suitable enough to raise chicks in. Then [y/n] showed me the coop, and now I know they're in good hands."
"Ah...did you wanna meet Charlie sometime? Or one of my blue chickens?"
"......chickens can be blue?" Krobus had such a starry-eyed look, as though he had just been told the secrets of the universe.
Meanwhile, you were just cleaning the dishes, listening to their conversation delve into chicken care, eggs, and more. And you could only smile, glad to see that your monster roommate was finally warming up to humans.
Only a select few will get to see him, as you didn't wanna compromise his safety...
But for now, Shane is the only one you could trust.

Hello again and thank you so much for including my idea in one of your previous posts!
I have an angluffy (angsty+fluffy) scenario in my head that’s been sitting there for a while. Disclaimer: it is quite specific, so I totally understand if you don’t feel like writing for it or want to modify this. Also, I would love to read about all the spouses (Vanilla, Expanded and Ridgeside), but this is a lot of people so if this scenario picks your interest feel free to modify the list or publish it in parts.
The idea goes like this:
There was an invasion on Stardew Valley. The Gotoro Empire attacked without giving anyone as much as a chance to escape. All seemed lost, and it would have been, if not for the bravery and quick thinking of the Farmer. They rushed to the hudge battle robot that empire troops were using in the attack and placed a bomb underneath it. The village was saved, but sadly, Farmer didn't run fast enough to escape from explosion. All that was left of them was an arm, separated from the rest of the body. Or so everyone thought.
The numb, limp body was found by Krobus, who managed to save Farmer’s life, but at a cost. Village’s hero had spent year in a coma, got their arm replaced with a iridium prosthetic one (courtesy of the Dwarf) and, patched up with shadow magic, are no longer fully human. [my ida of it: one eye is black, skin is paler, and parts of flesh are replaced with shadowy smoke, but make up whatever visuals suit your vision]. Changed, confused and weakened by a year of sleep, the first thing Farmer does is going to their partner [any level of romantic relationship; spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, or - my personal favourite - they were about to give Farmer the mermaid pendant just before the invasion started]. How would that meeting go?
Daaaaamn, that's some dark headcanon right here.... Sure thing! ✨✨✨
Hope you don't mind if I write in this ask about the vanilla and SVE spouses. Also this headcanon turned out more angst than fluff, so I hope you don't mind that either. Thank you for the ask, and have a good day! 💖
Warning: angst

Stardew Valley:
Harvey
Another nightmare that Harvey woke up in a cold sweat. He was breathing hard, trying to calm down and pull himself together, to chase away the bad thoughts. No sedatives or sleeping pills helped him, the same nightmare.... Where his smiling spouse turns to face him and dark flames overwhelm them as Harvey stands there, unable to do anything. The doctor was about to go to sleep again (trying, at least), but he heard the doorbell of his clinic. Who had come to see him at this late hour.... Usually the only person who visited his clinic in the middle of the night was-
"Harvey, it's me..." He collapsed senseless on the doorstep.
Sam:
Sam has never heard his mom scream like that. No, not the kind of scream where a disgruntled Jodi was once again trying to get through to her son, sitting in his headphones, who had promised to clean the house. The soul-crushing, ear-splitting scream he usually heard in horror movies. The guitarist instantly rushed into the living room, where his mother was in, ready to protect her from whoever caused her screaming. And there she was, pale with terror, standing motionless while Vincent stood behind her, crying and trembling. Both looked toward the front door, where stood a strang-
"Sam, is that you?"
Farmer. It was Farmer.... The one everyone thought was a dead hero was standing right here in Sam's house. He was speechless. It can't be...
Elliott
Elliott hardly ever left his little cabin. In the past, the writer could often be found in the Saloon, draining a glass of wine in company. Now he is but a shadow of his past self, ever since Farmer... died defending the Stardew Valley from enemy invasion. No desire to write anything, no desire to do anything, or even to leave the house, just... nothing. When Elliott found out what had happened to them, part of him died that day. It went on like that for six months until the residents stepped in, trying to help him. And the writer seemed to be doing better, but for the last month, as the date drew closer to the day Elliott lost Farmer a year ago, he was getting worse and worse.
Opening the door one rainy day, he thought that once again the residents had come to him almost by force to drag him into town, but what was the point-
"Honey, it's me..."
Elliott stared in mute shock at Farmer standing before him. When he realized that it's not a ghost or a hallucination, he fell to his knees, kissed their hands and sobbed, praising Yoba for his beloved's return.
Shane
First came shock. Shane couldn't believe what was happening, it couldn't be.... Farmer stood before them, alive and well, except for the fact that they had a bandage over their left eye and no right hand at all, it had been replaced with.... Metal? A device? Shane didn't know. He slowly touched their shoulder, looked into their face, heard their voice.
"It's... It's you. You're alive, alive... Where... Where have you been?!" Then came anger and pain. Farmer is alive... And they didn't deign to tell him?! It was later that they could explain to Shane that they were in a coma, but for now the chicken man choked on his own tears and shouted at them.
Sebastian
"Sebastian, it's me. It's okay, I'm alive, I'm okay..." Farmer could feel their lover hugging them tightly with a dead grip, shaking nonstop. He wouldn't let them go, afraid that if he let go of his lover again, he would lose them already forever. Like when he blamed himself for not being more assertive in his argument with Farmer that they should all hide in the basement of his house. That fateful day for the Valley, when he'd let go of their hand and watched them run toward the seashore, to defend his native valley from a robot sent by Gotoro. How heartbroken he was to learn that after the robot exploded, all that was left of Farmer was one severed arm...
"Sebastian..." He was shaking, and his eyes became wet with tears. He didn't let go of their embrace for a long time yet...
Alex
Alex's first meeting with Farmer after a year of separation, pain and trying to move on, ended with the athlete punching his lover in the face, right in their healthy eye, untouched by dark magic unlike the other one. He didn't mean to do it, but he was so badly frightened and confused by Farmer's appearance, who had been presumed dead, triggered his hit-or-run reflex. Thankfully Alex didn't punch them hard, though still weakened from the year-long coma Farmer fell to the floor. Alex looked at them with horror, realized what he had just done, and apologies spilled out of his mouth with sobs. The farmers quickly came to their senses and tried to calm their lover down. But Alex hugged them tightly and cried harder.
They are alive... And the first thing he did was to hit them....
Abigail
Everyone told Abigail it was time for her to stop chasing the illusion. Stop trying to do her own investigation of the place where Farmer was last seen. To stop arguing in raised tones with her father, trying to prove that they hadn't found Farmer's body, which meant there was no proof they were dead. She cried in her mother's arms, who comforted her daughter but tried to gently tell her that it was time for her to move on. But Abigail continued to believe.
And she was right, when Farmer with their face slightly disfigured from dark magic stood before her, she ran up to them and hugged them tightly, sobbing, she was right!
Leah
"Stay away from me!" Leah shouted, her hands that held the sculpted hammer as her only means of self-defense treacherously trembling. The ginger young woman took two steps back, keeping her gaze on.... Farmer? Was that really.... her beloved Farmer? Many features exactly the same as her deceased lover's, but their right eye... A huge hole from which a black as tar liquid dripped, running down their cheek. Their left hand, made of a metal that was unfamiliar to her.
Leah continued to stand there trembling, not knowing where or who to run to for help.
Emily
Strange, but Emily has had practically the same dream.... How she is running after a red bird that leads her closer and closer to the forest, and just as the blue-haired woman reaches the edge, she sees someone who remotely reminds her of... Farmer, the stranger turns around.... and Emily wakes up. She can't figure out what it means. Her dreamers interpret various things: that the spirit of her dead lover is trying to warn her, or that their "coming" is a sign of good news. And that edge of the forest looks all too familiar.... On one such night, she decided to walk towards the forest from memory, and noticed near the sewer someone coming out... A small dark figure that hid in the thicket having spotted her from afar and...
*sob* "It''s a sign... I knew you were alive."
Farmer, barely standing on their feet and weak, looked in surprise at Emily, who ran towards them, hugging them and knocking them down accidentally. Her dream was prophetic, she had found them, Farmer was alive...
Penny
As soon as Penny stepped out of the farmhouse to meet the guest who was banging so loudly on the door, she stood in a stupor for half a minute, trying to realise who or... what stood before her. A stranger whose body parts were completely non-human, but whose facial features were... "Penny... Is that really you?" And... that voice. The voice of the person she'd been mourning for a year now. The voice that had sworn their love to her as they both stood under the wedding archway and held hands. The voice that had made she realise...
Penny let out a heartbreaking scream, and fell to the ground, senseless, only to hear the voice of her frightened spouse call out her name before her vision went dark.
Maru
Maru refused to believe that her lover had died. Yes, she and the others had seen that huge crater where Farmer had last been at that moment. Yes, she had seen with her own eyes their bloody body part, which was lying far away from the crater, thrown away by the blast wave. But their body (it hurt Maru terribly to even imagine Farmer like that) had not been found, which meant that it was impossible to say that they had died. The young inventor continued her search, scouring the valley, trying to find a clue or a logical explanation. Her family and friends thought that Maru's grief had simply caused her to deny reality and cling to this idea, thus trying to cope with the loss of her lover. But...
"I found them!" *sob* "I- I found them!"
...seeing her, with tears on her cheeks, holding Farmer's metal hand, who stood and were very much alive, realized that the young inventor had been right all along.
Haley
Honestly, Farmer knew their lover's reaction would be very strong. After all, Haley (and everyone else in the Valley) thought they were dead (they themself thought they were dead). Until they woke up without their right eye and arm. What Farmer didn't expect was that when he walked into Haley and Emily's house, half the dishes would fly at them. Poor Haley, who was alone at that moment, thought she was being haunted by ghost and was so frightened that she threw plates, forks, bottle and other kitchen stuff, then fell to her knees. Farmer cautiously approached her and touched her hands gently, showing that they were not a ghost, but a living person.
"Where have you been..." No one was to blame for what had happened (except Gotoro), but Farmer felt a prick of conscience when they heard how broken and weak Haley's voice was.
Stardew Valley Expanded:
Magnus Rasmodius
"Magnus-" Farmer didn't even have time to utter their lover's name before they felt that they had lost the power of speech and their body stopped obeying. They stood as dumbfounded, unable to move as the old wizard approached them with slow steps, his left hand making gestures unknown to them, while his right hand was enveloped in flames, ready to sizzle the threat at any moment. The harsh look of Magnus' violet eyes pierced through, but there was nothing Farmer could do. After standing under Rasmodius' gaze for a long and agonizing minute, Farmer felt the invisible ropes finally loosen, allowing them to move again.
"It's really you... You're alive..." Tears streamed down Magnus' wrinkled cheeks.
Victor
Victor's inner voice shouted that he should run. Run without looking back, away from the creature standing right in front of him. From this unknown monster who, either to torture him for their own amusement or to blunt his instinct for self-preservation, had taken the form of his dead lover of a year ago. The one he was about to declare his love to with a mermaid pendant. The one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Victor must run, run as fast as he could, call for help, run run-
His heart shouted that it was them.
Victor ran towards the Farmer, hugging them tightly. And he couldn't hold his crying when they hugged him back.
Lance
"Name." Striking a fighting stance, Lance bared his spear, ready to defend himself against the possible threat that the mages of the Gotoro Empire had sent him. Their enemies went to the most desperate and despicable lengths, even stooping so low as to use necromancy. "Your name." Reviving fallen adventurers with dark magic that disfigured their bodies, but the overflowing happiness of the fallen man's friends didn't notice until it was too late. He keeps his guard up, keeping Farmer away and demanding answers, buying time until backup arrives
*sob* "I'm... I'm [name]. L- Lance..."
The adventurer's heart clenches when he heard a familiar voice... He need to stay focused.
Sophia
After Sophia's lover fell to the death of the brave, for the sake of protecting her and the entire Valley, she hardly ever left the house, only filled bottles coming out of her vineyard. Recently has she been able to move on after the death of her parents, as she has once again lost the people she holds dear. Gus and Scarlett visited their friend, trying to comfort her, but the pink-haired girl withdrew into herself, unwilling to talk to anyone. One such day, the same day that exactly one year ago Farmer died, someone knocked very insistently on the door of her house, and Sophia, overwhelmed with grief and anger, opened the door and wanted to shout to be left alo-
"Sophia..."
She immediately fell silent, staring in horror at the features of a face so familiar to her. And screamed, running back into the house and huddled in a corner, unable to stop sobbing as Farmer tried to soothe her in every way they could.
Olivia:
Farmer had no sooner said anything to Olivia upon their meeting after a year of separation, than they immediately had to catch the poor woman fainting from shock. And what did they expect - absolutely everyone in the valley believed that their dear friend and Olivia's failed spouse was presumed dead, only a severed arm could be found at the scene of action, which was buried. The former Joja accountant mourned her spouse again, and now they were coming into her house, with a bandage that covered their eye, with a hand that was as cold as ice to the touch, but... alive.
"How did you- What happened... We thought- I thought you were...." Olivia finally woke up and enclosed Farmer in her arms, choking on her own tears and sobs.
Claire
If it wasn't for the lack of job opportunities, Claire would have quit her current job a long time ago and never come to Stardew Valley again. This place has become like home to her, the residents are very friendly, and supportive of Claire as a member of the community. But it's too hard for her to return to this town, to walk past the monument in honour of her deceased lover every time, to look at the place where Farmer was last seen alive.... It's all very hard for her. Returning late from work to the bus stop, she promises herself she'll quit tomorrow.... and feels someone take her hand, calling her name gently.
Claire jumped, as she knew that voice well. The girl looked closely at the stranger's face in the near pitch darkness and wailed in a way that made half the town jump from such a heartbreaking scream.
Scarlett
"AAAAAAA!" As if poor Scarlett could be understood: considering that Farmer had been presumed dead for a year, the girl certainly hadn't expected to see their ghost. At least that's what she thought they were, scared out of her wits and threw the first thing she could get her hands on (some iron tools) at them, causing the Farmer to get an iron kick in the leg, yelp and a bit of indignation. Scarlett realised it wasn't a ghost after all, and upon realising this she was overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions. Is that the Farmer?! Yoba, her lover is alive! But... what with their eye? What happened?! And why didn't they contact her sooner?
Scarlett will get her answers (some of which will raise more questions), but... she's just incredibly happy that Farmer is alive and, well, relatively okay.

Stardew Bachelor/ette headcanons
Some may actually be canon? Or quasi-canon. Keep in mind that my character is like me in the aspect of not choosing any of them to marry. I might do Krobus as a roommate, but that's about it
Leah: was the newest arrival until the farmer showed up. Wasn't looking for a relationship after the whole fiasco with Kel, and generally keeps to herself. Is somewhat closr to Robin due to both working with wood, albeit in different ways, and Elliot for being the only other person in the town who doesn't have a connection to someone who is or was part of it. As a result, she's a stranger to lost the townsfolk
Maru: would be an anxious wreck if she weren't medicated. Tried to get close to her half-brother all the time as a kid, but slowly stopped as he kept pushing her away. She does wish they could connect, though she doesn't know how or where to start. She enjoys working with Harvey, but outside work she can't really stand him. Would call him a weenie if she used that sort of language
Haley: is materialistic because that's how her parents spoiled her to hide their not-that-great parenting. Secretly she wishes she wasn't like that, but feels she can't truly change it. Besides, she occasionally gets pretty clothes from her parents and she can't not wear them, even if only once. Even if they are the wrong size, which they usually are. Got into photography due to her sister gifting her a cheap Polaroid camera
Emily: is into mysticism out of spite against her parents. Makes her own clothes out of spite as well. She hates her parents, but would never say so. Sandy is an ex, the two realized they are better as friends than dating, which is why they're still on good terms. Some people don't believe they broke up, and if the Farmer marries her, Sandy makes them a throuple. She doesn't like Clint but gets the feeling that if she rejects him he'll go psycho stalker
Abigail: is actually really good at using a sword. Marlon has given her lessons in secret, and sees her as an excellent apprentice. If only her father wasn't such a--. Forced by her mother to take flute lessons at first, but ended up enjoying them. If she crosses paths with the Farmer heading to the mines, she wants to join. Even if the monsters do scare her. Once she dyed her hair purple, not only did it not fade, nothing else sticks. Even stripping the color has it come back the next morning
Penny: wants a large family with someone loyal to her so she can raise her kids right, not the way she was raised. An excellent teacher for young kids, the main thing holding her back from being properly educated and certified to teach is her mother's drinking habits. She wishes she lived somewhere she could feel pride, but instead has the short stick and has to make do. She took up reading to get away from her negligent father and later abusive mother. Educating others was the next step in her mind, and she's doing what she can with what she has. The war doesn't make getting new textbooks easy, however
Sam: does not know how to act now that his dad is back. He's been Man of the House for so long, and now he's not. Focused on making a band and his guitar to compensate. Is actually good at composing music, but his aimless wandering for band type and music keeps him from getting anywhere. He ends up making music for kid's shows because he gets some variety, at least. Is aware that Vincent looks up to him and tries to be a good role model. Barring the skateboarding. He's toned it down a lot since his brother was born, but he's not above stunts
Sebastian: pushed his half-sister away first out of anger that him mom remarried, then because she's a girl and cooties, and now doesn't know how to fix the rift. Has depression, but it shows as isolation. He's seen how Shane gets and does not want to be like that. Better to stay in his room all day. A natural night owl, he chafes at daytime hours. His mom doesn't understand, and his step-father certainly won't. Speaking of, the two only interact as necessary. Sebby does not like him, and made it clear as a kid, pushing him away like he did Maru. This rift he feels is far too late to fix, and doesn't care (he claims) to fix it
Elliott: he has fallen for Leah, but won't admit it. Not after hearing about her ex and how they affected her. While he loves the idea of being the knight in shining armor rescuing her, he's too shy to do so. Even so, he is striking up a friendship with her because her sculptures are beautiful to him, and give him ideas for his novel. He does wish he could buy one, though. Or be gifted one. Is close to Willy as well. Proximity helps, but he's also fascinated by the stories the fisher has to tell. Even if some have been repeated and exaggerated over retellings
Harvey: actually had a hard time keeping up with a lot of stuff in his clinic until he hired Maru. He knows she's the reason the place stays afloat, and does all he can to keep her. In a professional manner, he loves her. In a personal manner, he has respect for her, but does not see her as a potential romantic interest. Has a late girlfriend who died from an incurable disease back in high school, motivating him to become a doctor after his fear of heights and bad eyes kept him from aviation. He won't ever admit it, but he's happy where he's at. Even if his diet is shit. Takes pride in his 'stashe
Shane: despite being Jas' godfather, he forgets about her a lot, especially when drunk. Losing his friends aka her parents, an injury keeping him from remaining in sports, and losing his dreams turned him to drinking to cope, and now he's in a rut he can't get out of. Not without help, anyway. Marnie is worried about him, and also concerned as to how he got her white and brown chickens to start popping out blue ones. What's next, pink chickens??? Constantly has stubble because the doesn't remember to shave. Or he does but since he uses an electric razor, forgets to plug it in, turn it on, or otherwise have it operate
Alex: knows he washed up, won't admit to it. His primary reason for not actually going pro and only bragging about it is because he doesn't want to leave his grandparents behind to find for themselves. He misses his mother every day, though he believes he cannot admit to it. He is a man, after all. Men don't miss people. Or cry. Under his manly man persona is a sensitive man, in touch with his emotions, but he doesn't want to admit that
Krobus: learned to talk from Gil after being found as an orphaned shadow beast. While he's reconnected to his people, he still feels different from them, having been raised by a human. He got his name after his kin discovered his upbringing, hoping that he can bring peace to their kind, as not all shadow beasts are monsters. Sadly, too many are interested in fighting to make things work

as someone who is aroace I really like stardew cause I don't need to marry anyone, and if I get lonely on my farm I always can count on my boy krobus, but I wish some of that sentiment transferred to fandom a bit.
like if you looked only at the fandom sometimes it feels like stardew is a dating sim more than anything. and I don't mean to yuck other people's yum, if you really like the romance aspect more power to you, but I just wish there was some more fanwork not centered around the bachelors/bachelorettes or at very least the romance plots. like where's my evelyn fanart? or linus'? where are the fanfics where the farmer is just a guy (gender neutral) who's besties with everyone? where are the platonic headcanons?
idk man. again, I'm not saying that people shouldn't make romance-centered fanwork, I just think there should be other stuff too, for those of us that don't care for the romance bits. maybe I've just been looking in the wrong places, or maybe I just might have to make it myself. be the change you wish to see in fandom or something. anyway those are my thoughts.

TG characters and how they would play Stardew
Kaneki: Cozy farm, on the spectrum of constantly broke to min-maxer he’s somewhere in the middle. He started playing the game to relax and unwind and it sucked him in. Now he’s gotten to the point in the game where he can actually relax. He’s probably married to Sam or Elliott
Touka: She focuses more on animals than crops, and her farm is filled with rabbits. She has a couple purely aesthetic mods installed and has a very cute farm. She’s also gotten to at least floor 200 in the skull caverns. I feel like she’d marry Penny.
Hide: Pure chaos. 10 billion chests with nothing organized. He has no money ever. He only started playing cause Kaneki wanted to try a multiplayer run and was banned from the game after 2 days for giving all of their resources away to Haley (she hated all of them)
Hinami: Mix between Touka’s and Kaneki’s, just replace the rabbits with chickens. She has made it down even further than Touka in skull caverns. She’d take Krobus as a roomate.
Akira: Not a min-maxer but still pretty close. She has the entire stardew valley wiki memorized and has reached completion at least twice. She always makes sure her farm looks nice, and tries to get a ton of chests so she can organize her stuff early-game. She likes the fishing minigame.
Amon: He’s in a state of perpetually having next to no money and is stuck on floor 40 of the mines. He has 12 parsnips that he forgets to water. He doesn’t know that chests exist. Despite all this, he’s still having fun. He likes fishing enough, and he spends most of his time befriending the villagers. He gets really sad when they don’t like his gifts
Seidou: He’s not bad. He doesn’t have the best luck, so that tends to be a problem for him. He gets really frustrated with the game sometimes and quits for a bit before returning. He’s a decent way through the game and he’s completed the community centre. He doesn’t use the wiki at all and tries to avoid spoilers. He’s trying his hardest to marry Alex.
Juuzou: Didn’t know how to play, became a min-maxer within three days. Seidou hates him for this.

💫 Animal Crossing vs Stardew Valley💫

✨Pairing: Seonghwa x gn!reader ✨Prompt: You and your best friend Seonghwa argue about which game is better than the other. ✨Word count: 0.7k ✨Genre: fluff, non idol au, best friends ☀️Authors Note: I definitely play way more Stardew Valley than Animal Crossing so had to get the help of my friend who's played AC way longer than I have to have some good materials for this one shot! Let me know if you liked it!🥰

"There is no way you prefer Stardew Valley over Animal Crossing New Horizon." Seonghwa said looking at you flabbergasted after you had confessed you preferred said game over Animal Crossing.
"Why wouldn't I prefer Stardew Valley over Animal Crossing?! Stardew has so much more gameplay and a storyline and it's so much more fun!" You argued back at him, he sat up straighter in the sofa the two of you were sitting in with his mouth hanging open as if he could not believe the words you had just uttered.
"No no no you're wrong! Animal crossing is much better, the villagers are super cute, you get to choose who stays on your island! You can't do that in Stardew! You're forced to have the exact same people as everyone else!" He said as he turned his switch towards you to show his villagers who were waving and just in general being cute.
"Well at least I don't need to restart or get a new switch if I wanna restart a new farm in Stardew! You have to delete everything if you wanna start a new farm meaning you'll have to delete all your memories and that's no fun!" You pout "And besides Animal Crossing don't have Krobus so that's automatically a minus point!"
"What the hell is a Krobus?!" Seonghwa asked making a face causing you to gasp and turn toward him almost offended he asked who Krobus is.
"He's a precious friendly monster! You have not seen his little face when you gift him an emerald! He's adorable!!" You defend the creature.
"Well do your villagers congratulate you on your birthday?" He argues back which causes you to let out an annoyed:
"No they don't."
"Hah! See! My game is superior! They sing a little song and do a little dance for you. Plus the visuals are much cuter than your game!"
"Hey! The visuals are really nice as well!!" You lightly hits his leg as he laughs.
"Besides Stardew stresses me out. I want to be relaxed when playing a game and yet there's a time limit every day, if I want to save I gotta go to bed and if I'm mining I get attacked by everything from crabs to slime monsters to bugs." He rants and it brings out a laugh from you.
"That's why Animal Crossing is slightly boring. There's no fighting, no action or adrenaline rush while playing the game! Plus Stardew has a storyline, your game is over once you earn three stars which is like what do you do after that?" You retaliate and you can see something click in Hwas head as his eyes starts looking a bit mischievous as he fights a smile.
"Well you know Sprout Valley is better than your game!" That caused you to gasp, there was no way he actually uttered those words to you.
"You take that back! You agreed last week when we played it that it was good but not as good as our favorite games!" You point at him and he's now wearing a Cheshire grin on his face
"I changed my mind" He singsongs, giggling at your flabbergasted face.
"Get over here!" You say pouncing at him to tickle him causing him to shriek trying to get away from you.
"Stooppp!!! Hahahahaha noooo stop it Y/n!!!!" He tries to push you off of him but hes unsuccessful of getting you off and stopping your attack.
"I will stop if you take it back and say Stardew is the best game out there!!" You smirk trying not to laugh at how he was turning red from laughing.
"Okay! OKAY!! Ahhhh you win!!! Stardew Valley is the best game out there!!" Once he had screamed that you stopped, laughing at him. Seonghwa looked as if he had been to war with his now tousled hair, beanie on the ground and shirt slightly tangled.
"See! I won." You say sitting back in your corner of the sofa looking like a cat who just got the cream. Enjoying your victory over Seonghwa who usually was the one who won these kind of arguments. Your victory did not last long before he wheezed out:
"I lied. Animal Crossing and Sprout Valley is leagues better."
"Why you little shit!" You said before lunging at him with a screech causing him to let out a scream of his own trying to avoid your fingers who were ready to tickle him again until he gave up.

Can we see all the hats!?
yahhh!! alright, ordering these based on how well i like them (or how well i like them so far)!
first: the unfinished fish hat. i dont really know where i was going with this? i think it was practice for a magicarp hat that i didn't end up starting (didn't have the right yarn colors)

this one was going to be a pineapple hat (there was gonna be leaves on top) but there are soooo many ends that i need to weave in on the inside and it DIDNT EVEN FIT ME

my applin hat!! unfinished but im really excited about it (i dont have the right color of yarn for the eye thingies yet tho)

these are just basic ones i made for my family but im putting them here anyway :)

Krobus!! he may look simple, but the curl was sooo difficult for me for some reason!!

my first more complicated hat: Mimikyu! i have some issues with it (SO hard to wear) and it was before i learned how to hide the seam from where i started the row, but its very precious to me :3 (someone offered me like 70/80 bucks for it and i declined)

i got away with making this one for an english assignment (honestly no idea how) so its the only one that i wrote down the pattern i made for it! im thinking of fixing up the pattern (its written really badly) and putting it out into the world…

and saving my favorite for last, my dragon hat! she is the least photogenic of all my hats, but looks the coolest in real life. based on dragon boats from China or Taiwan!!

ok i'm gonna go make irresponsible yarn purchases now :]
#i swear i had one more but i have no idea what it was so it's fine#crochet#hats#mimikyu#bokoblin#krobus#thinking of making a website....so i might do that and put some patterns on there#could be fun idk#thx for the ask!!!!!#internetgiraffekid1673#i hope i spelled that right

So uh, I was playing Stardew Valley to destress, and then this happened. Hope everyone likes it at least!
One Piece Stardew Valley AU
Luffy
General:
Washed up on the beach in a barrel and mayor Lewis hasn’t been able to get rid of him since. One of the harder residents to track down because his schedule is entirely random, but he does have some places he goes to more frequently. These places include the Stardrop Saloon, the mines, the beach, and Linus’s tent. He is banned from the museum for dropping an artifact and breaking it. He gets along with most of the residents for being a generally likable and helpful guy. His favorites (besides other straw hats) are Linus, Krobus, Alex, and Abigail. Doesn’t get along with Lewis or Morris because he tends to make fools of them with his antics (and breaks stuff at JojaMart). Inexplicably, he can see and interact with Junimos. He also claims he can talk to them but it’s unclear if he actually can or if he’s just making it up as he goes.
Player Interaction:
Rocks up to your farm the day you show up because he didn’t know you were moving in and likes to hang out and forage there. After initially startling each other, he offers to help you clean up the place if he can have some of the food you grow. Agreeing immediately gets you a couple of hearts and now you’re friends, rejecting it makes him shrug and leave. If you mention needing certain materials, he will occasionally send some in the mail if he finds any, and will also send random things he finds. He very much encourages you to let loose and have fun instead of working all day.
Dating/Marriage:
He isn’t a marriage candidate, but you can ask him to move in like with Krobus. You won’t see much of him because he likes to wander, but he’ll help out around the farm before he peaces out for the day. His room is a mess with a hammock in it.
Zoro
General:
He was the last person to get a ride to Pelican Town before the bus broke, and now he’s stuck there. Everytime he tried to leave, he would just wind up back in Pelican Town, so he eventually gave up and accepted his fate. At least the mines give him ample opportunity for sword practice. Since he spends so much time down there, Marlon lets him live at the Adventurer’s Guild. He can be consistently found at the mines, Adventurer’s Guild, and the Stardrop Saloon, but he’ll also randomly show up in various parts of the map because he got lost. He isn’t very sociable, so the only people he talks to all that much are Marlon, Gil, Shane, and Kent once he shows up.
Player Interaction:
Your first meeting happens the first time you try to enter the mine. He’ll walk out of it and tell you that if you’re looking to do some monster hunting that you should come back tomorrow because he wiped out most of the mine. He becomes something of a rival for you in the mines, and there is a leaderboard of sorts comparing your kills to his. Having some competition really invigorates him, so your rivalry turns to friendship easily. He sends you monster parts in the mail since he has more than he knows what to do with. Once the bus is fixed, he’ll ask if you could take him to Skull Cavern. He tried to go by himself, but well, he somehow got lost despite Pam pointing it out to him.
Dating/Marriage:
The man has no idea what he’s doing and doesn’t understand why you gave him a bouquet, but he tries to go with it. If he does say something romantic, he becomes visibly embarrassed and you won’t be able to talk to him for the rest of the day. If you try to, you’ll just get a text box saying “...” with a blushing portrait next to it. After marriage, he’ll help out primarily by fixing whatever is broken and gifting you more monster parts. He leaves for the mines a lot. His room is full of workout equipment.
Nami
General:
An extremely elusive woman who makes sea charts. The hardest resident to track down because she’ll be gone for days at a time. Willy lets her crash at his shop on the days when she’s in town. She can be found in the Museum/Library, Pierre’s General Store, Carpenter’s Shop, and Cindersap Forest. Once Ginger Island is unlocked, you can find her there on the days she isn’t in Pelican Town. She isn’t around enough to be close with many of the locals, but has managed to make friends with Maru, Penny, Willy, and Leo. She dislikes Pierre because he won’t let her haggle with him.
Player Interaction:
She doesn’t make an appearance until day 5. She shows up at your farm to introduce herself and mentions that she’d love to buy food off you when she’s in town (you will make less money but this will raise your friendship faster). Every so often, she will give you a rare fish she found at sea, but this is uncommon. When you finally make it to Ginger Island, she’ll already be there and make a lighthearted jab about how ‘it took you long enough’. She’ll help you find golden walnuts if you bring her something she’s requested.
Dating/Marriage:
She’s flattered when you give her the bouquet, but also very surprised. You know that she’s gone a lot and won’t change that, right? You do? Oh, okay… Wanna get dinner at the saloon tonight? Your treat, of course. Despite what she says, she will stay in Pelican Town for more days now, but still does regularly leave for days at a time. She offers to bring you with her to Ginger Island when she goes, but you still have to pay. It’s half the price that Willy offers, but it’s one way so you’ll need a totem to get back. After marriage her room is filled with charts and related supplies. She helps out around the farm occasionally, but not often.
Usopp
General:
An apprentice at Clint’s shop (also lives there) who specializes in upgrading weapons. He started working with him as a teenager, and is ready to move on to other things, but lacks the nerve to make that final leap. When he isn’t working he can be found at the Adventurer’s Guild, Cindersap Forest, and lurking around outside the mines. He’s friends with the wizard, Marlon, Sam, and Leah.
Player Interaction:
When you walk into the blacksmith store for the first time, he’ll be in there and start talking big about how he’s the owner and makes the best weapons the world has ever seen. Then Clint walks in and he promptly leaves from the embarrassment of being caught in a lie. After that he’ll give you a proper run down of how he can improve your weapons for you if you provide the right materials. He can either strengthen it by increasing the attack, or enchant it with magical effects. Simply talking to him boosts friendship like crazy since a lot of people ignore him for being a known liar/exaggerator. Sometimes he’ll send materials in the mail along with a letter saying how it could really improve that sword of yours if you bring it in to him *wink wink nudge nudge*.
Dating/Marriage:
When you give him the bouquet, he takes it, stutters out random syllables, and then runs away. He’ll be on your porch the next morning to properly thank you and accept it now that he’s had a chance to gather his thoughts. He brags to everyone about the fact that he’s dating you. After marriage his room is filled with miscellaneous weapons and materials with some blacksmithing equipment outside. You’ll notice that nothing ever seems to break around the farm because he always fixes it before you can see it.
Sanji
General:
He’s a cook at the Stardrop Saloon, and also works as a personal chef for anyone that requests the service. His main customers are Evelyn and George, as well as Pam and Penny. He doesn’t charge Pam and Penny because they’re broke and he’s a pushover (he’s also trying his best to teach Penny how to cook). He can commonly be found at his clients’ homes, Cindersap Forest, the beach, and the spa. He’s friendly with all of the women there, but is noticeably closer with Emily, Haley, and Penny. Elliott and Sebastian are also friends of his.
Player Interaction:
The second you set foot in the saloon, he will be trying to impress you with one of his signature dishes while pitching his in-home cooking service. Gus scolds him for advertising his business at work, while Emily jokes that he’s flirting with the customers again. He hurries back to the kitchen after this. Like Usopp, your friendship will rise just from talking to him, but will also rise if you give him ingredients. He frequently mails you food he’s made and personal recipes. You can buy his services. It’ll show a cutscene of him cooking in your kitchen, plus you’ll get the recipe of whatever he made. Food made by him gives you buffs.
Dating/Marriage:
The man will straight up cry when you give him the bouquet and promises that you won’t regret choosing him. He acts like you’re already married with how doting and lovey-dovey he is, and he drops hints constantly about proposing. You’ll be getting food from him in the mail every single day while dating, and food directly from him every morning when you are married. Helps around the farm frequently. His room is full of bookshelves containing various cookbooks and romance novels, and also an herb garden.
Chopper
General:
Harvey’s apprentice, and has an interest in herbal remedies. He’s very young and new to it but is an extremely promising student. When he isn’t at the clinic, he can be found in the museum/library, Cindersap Forest, or poking around the Community Center. He can also see and talk to junimos. He’s good friends with Harvey, Maru, and Leah. He wants to be friends with the wizard but is intimidated by him.
Player Interaction:
Entering Cindersap Forest for the first time will reveal him foraging for medicinal herbs. He eagerly introduces himself and lets you know that you can buy herbal medicine from him at the clinic. They’re on the cheap side and can heal or prevent status effects. Buying his medicine boosts friendship, but losing all health and ending up in the clinic five times will cause you to lose a heart with him. He worries a lot, don’t do that to him. Expect to get a variety of herbs, fruits, and vegetables in the mail from him with notes about you staying on top of your health (these notes become passive aggressive if you recently lost a heart with him).
Dating/Marriage:
Not a marriage candidate for obvious reasons, and also isn’t available to move in with you.
Robin
General:
An esteemed archeologist working and living at the museum. She moved to Pelican Town because of the area allegedly being an archeological hot spot. She doesn’t stay in one place for very long (except when she’s reading at the library), so trying to find her can be difficult. She doesn’t move into the town until after the bus has been fixed and the quarry is unlocked. The day after both are completed, she shows up and makes her rounds introducing herself to the locals. She can be found at the mines, the quarry, the desert, and Ginger Island, but will also be seen wandering around the map looking for artifacts in unlikely places. While she is very new to the town, she still makes friends with Gunther, Sandy, Professor Snail, and Penny. She also gets along well with the children.
Player Interaction:
She’ll be on your porch when you leave your house the day she moves to town and introduces herself. After that, she asks for a tour of your farm and then if it would be okay for her to dig there occasionally. Agreeing gives you a couple of hearts to start with. If she finds anything on your property, you’ll get a cut of the profit. Every time you donate to the museum, she sends you a thank you note in the mail the next day. While you won’t be able to collect the things she finds first, she’ll give you rare crafting recipes once in a while in exchange. Good luck predicting what she’ll send you in the mail, it’s very random. You could get some food, a hat, some rocks, or even a bomb. She sends whatever makes her think of you, you’re just not sure you can follow her train of thought.
Dating/Marriage:
Receiving a bouquet leaves her speechless but happy once the shock wears off. She’ll say something about wanting to stay in Pelican Town a little longer anyway, and that she’s looking forward to seeing where this is going. Once you’re married, you get bonus items with your rewards for donations. Her room is filled with her most prized finds, books, and archeological supplies.
Franky
General:
A mechanic that’s aiming to fix up the train station and set the town up with its own personal train. He doesn’t show up until spring of year 3. He builds on an extension to the train station that he lives in. While he works extremely hard on the station and train, he does still find time to visit the town regularly. He can commonly be found at the Stardrop Saloon, the Carpenter’s shop, and the desert. He gets along well with most people, but he’s closest with Robin, Demetrius, and Mr. Qi. While Lewis appreciates that what he’s doing will help stimulate the town’s economy, he wishes he would put some pants on and be a little less… eccentric.
Player Interaction:
When you walk past the way up to where the train tracks are, you’ll hear a lot of noise. Going up there will reveal Franky hard at work repairing the station. Not long into meeting him, he’ll share his plight that while he wants nothing more than to fix this up, he’s really lacking the funds to do so properly. If you want the station and train finished, you’ll need to provide him with the building materials. This boosts friendship like crazy, and he’ll be singing your praise. Once everything is built, you can talk to Franky at the station to order materials in bulk to be delivered by the train. It’s all in large quantities, but it takes a few days to get there. He’ll mail you cola and random materials.
Dating/Marriage:
YOW! He wasn’t expecting the bouquet at all, but he accepts it nonetheless. The next day he will present you with a bouquet of his own creation that he made from scrap metal and some gemstones he had lying around. Will NOT stop hyping you up to everyone in town. After marriage he will give you a family discount on materials from the train. His room is more or less a tool shed and a place to put things he doesn’t use often anymore.

i found a stardew valley character portrait maker (link here) which progressed into making Jules a lil profile!!! (template here if you wanna make your own) it was actually a really thought provoking exercise, trying to figure out what he'd like and dislike was difficult, but here are some reasons under the cut
Loves:
Pepper- Jules likes spicy stuff
Snail- definitely the type to crouch down and watch a snail move around for an hour or two
Duck Feather- since he spends so much time outside he definitely gathers little treasures like bird feathers
Nekoite- same reason as the duck feather essentially, also pink and sparkly
Fruit Salad- i think jules eats a lot of fruit tbh, not just because he's a big ole fruit himself. i think he'd like nothing more than chowing down on some fruit salad (yummy yummy)
Dandelion- similar to duck feather/nekoite, but he als just genuinely thinks they're pretty and loves making wishes on them
Honey- he likes sweet things :-)
Dislikes:
Beer- brings back the ~trauma~ from his childhood, also generally thinks it tastes bad
Caviar- he thinks it's gross and also doesn't like the whole connotation with the wealthy elite
Parsnip- icky
Seaweed- he hates being touched by it, it's one of his least favorite textures and deeply upsets him
Coffee- too bitter and icky, also reminds him of his dad
Pale Ale- same reason as beer
Friends:
Krobus- jules definitely loves the spooky little guy and finds him fascinating, he likes to listen to Krobus tell him about where he came from
Dwarf- Similar to Krobus
Bear- just like how he loves Teddy!!
Linus- I think they'd have a lot to talk about tbh, nature, simple things, living a nomadic lifestyle, etc
Sandy- I just think their personalities would mesh really well and they'd end up really good buddies

well, if you aint writing, you could at least post stardew valley content!!! just yap abt it show us ur world!!!
aight bet
Huge fucking disclaimer: my shit is not aesthetic in the slightest. i have not actually attempted to decorate my house or my farm. please do not make fun of me <3
Let's start with my stupid house
Uh so. Keg room. I'm doing Pam's stupid potato juice quest. I have 10/12 and 2 days left so we'll see.
The nursery, which I added to my house and then immediately removed the crib so my husband wouldn't ask me about kids because that would be such a huge turn-off. I did this before getting married to ensure there was no chance of this happening. It's like a sewing/random decoration room now ig
My kitchen is a kitchen idk. don't worry about the placement of the oil machine it's fine.
Shane put that little cactus in the middle of the bedroom floor as his way of decorating. I said okay better than my decor tbh so there it stays.
Time to go outside
Yeah so that chest by my house I accidently placed it there when i first started and I wasn't sure if breaking it would destroy it so I just left it there. I now know you can move chests that have items in them but I'm so used to it at this point that that's where it lives. Yes I have the purple cat statue the farm you are about to see has 3 stars. be in awe
Why do i keep catching myself with my eyes half open. Anyway. Here's my dumbfuck field. I'm so glad I bought iridium sprinklers from krobus i hate watering. If you look behind my furnace you can see my cat Shoelace she is sleeping.
So I thought the greenhouse was a barn before it got restored which is why the coop is right next to it. Yes they have a very small yard idk man. I'll show all the animal names after I show where the barn is mmkay. Also the cave is fruit bats
chaotic greenhouse
Here is my fish area I am aging all the roe and milling all the rice and wheat hooray
Sap and mushrooms moment
My salmon pond, sturgeon pond, and fruit trees. I will have more fruit trees someday when I feel like it
Got some bees and then my barn animals they have a much better yard
Animal showcase. I apologize for my rabbit. I do not apologize for my pig or my chicken or my duck they are funny.
That's about it for my house/farm I just have a little rock area that is not decorated. Like I said nothing is optimal or aesthetic I am just existing.
Here's my stats and whatnot. I didnt want to show my name in the screenshot but I have restored the community center too
That does it for the tour I think but please feel free to ask questions or leave comments if you have them (°ー°〃)
#wow an ask#anon#fun fact: i was like maybe i should write instead of stardew today!#i go and check my email and see this ask and im like well it's stardew time ig#i hope my shit isnt too disappointing all the farms i see online are so aesthetic and shit#mine is just. what is goin on#anyway enjoy please let me know your thoughts lol#back to the egg fest now~#not whump#nemi's vibes

pinnie I found a mod for us krobus's spouses!
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/6760

unfortunately the last update was last year but I think it should still be usable
Hm, I hope that's worth anything. I haven't touched Stardew Valley in a while, but I'm glad someone at least thought of it.
With the right combination of mods, you can even sort of have kids with Krobus, which is nice.
