Reactions to Chaos Creator's Chapter 288
Brief summary: CH and Clopeh had a talk instead of a duel. Cale arrived at the emperor's palace.
==========
This chapter was so good! 🥰🥰🥰 I expected that the two would fight, but they only conversed. Nevertheless, their conversation revealed a lot about what kind of person Clopeh was.
CH believed that Clopeh was unsuited to be a guardian knight. Clopeh followed the path of a shadow, but a guardian knight must walk at the forefront. For CH, Lock would be a better guardian knight than Clopeh. But Clopeh's rebuttal left him speechless.
-What if a very strong enemy appears in front of Cale? Will you lay down your life to save Cale? But if you save Cale, the others will die. Raon and the kittens. Mary, Rosalyn, Tasha, and Lock. But if you don't save Cale, the others can be saved. What will you do?
My goodness, Clopeh asks questions that hit hard, especially for CH. Both knew that whatever the choice, Cale would be hurt. CH was hesitant, but Clopeh was not.
-I don't care if you all die, I don't care if I die, I don't care if my family dies. Of course, Cale-nim would be sad if all of his companions were killed. That's the kind of person he is. That is why he has the qualities of a great hero. So I will not turn my sword against Cale-nim's allies. But you and Cale-nim. Me and Cale-nim. If I could only save one of you, it would definitely be Cale-nim.
Clopeh-nim!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 He's really going all-in on Cale even if he loses everything else.
"Choi Han. Do you think you are a knight?" A knight. For some reason, Choi Han couldn't open his mouth easily. No answer came easily to him. Clopeh's eyes were like a green swamp. A swamp so deep that once you were dragged in, you couldn't get out. And they were filled with an intense longing. It was a desperate longing for something. Clopeh said in a nonchalant tone. "I think I am a knight." Even if he became a shadow and acted like an assassin. He never forgot that he had started out as a knight. He lived as a knight. "And do you know what a knight means?" Knighthood meant different things to different people. And for Clopeh. "For me, it's a conviction." For him, chivalry is conviction. "A knight must never compromise his conviction." Therefore, a knight who compromises his conviction was useless, and should not compromise his conviction. "And my conviction is-" Choi Han seemed to know what Clopeh's conviction might be. Clopeh spoke calmly. My conviction is, "Cale-nim." Choi Han felt like he was losing strength. He couldn't help but stare into those deep green eyes. The knight named Clopeh spoke. "His path is my conviction." Cale's path is my conviction, my reason for being a knight. Clopeh could say that without the slightest hesitation. That is why he would die for Cale, and he would do anything to save him.
KYAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! Clopeh-nim, you're as awesome and crazy as always! ❤️❤️❤️ 🤣🤣🤣 Google Translate used the word "belief", but I stuck with DeepL's translation of "conviction" because it was better. After all, a conviction is a strong belief, and what Clopeh expressed was his strong belief for Cale.
And thus, CH could not help but acknowledge that Clopeh deserved to be Cale's guardian knight. Clopeh passed CH's test. But CH warned Clopeh that if he lost his conviction, he would kill Clopeh. And Clopeh was fine with that. It was funny that the two called each other as a "crazy bastard" though.
Ending Remarks As a Clopeh fan, I love this chapter so much~! I would like to see a duel, but delving into Clopeh's thoughts and conviction was also good. Next chapter would be Cale meeting with the emperor again. Expect lots of scamming and DA showing off his power.

This is part 25 of the poly series 'We've All Got Needs,' linked below:
Word Count: 3593
We've All Got Needs Masterlist
Ao3 Link (Ch. 15 of We've All Got Needs cont.)
!!SPOILER WARNING!! Spoilers for the anime for the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc (through episode 288).
Summary: The Straw Hats infiltrate the Tower of Justice, and they race against time to find Robin before she's taken through the Gates. CP9 holds the keys to her freedom, and the crew will win or die trying to get her back.
Rating/Warnings: AFAB!Reader, She/Her Pronouns for Reader, Reader-Insert, Polyamory, Kissing, Canon Typical Violence, Blood, Injuries, Pet Names, Swearing, Angst, Mild Body Horror (I guess? it's in the show)
A/N: Sorry for the longer wait on these chapters, friends! Apparently action takes me longer to write than smut, lol.
Luffy’s rallying call was followed by the creaking and scraping of the drawbridge, excitement and hope stunning you.
“Our reinforcements pulled it together after all. And just in time too,” Sanji praised, his words fading out at the sound of the Franky Family yelling that it was up to all of you now.
Luffy crouched down, yelling one more time to your crewmate across the waterfall.
“Hey Robin! We’ll save you no matter what!”
Shouts from marines below were followed by the booming of weapons against wood and stone that dashed your hopes.
Luffy and Sanji yelled down at the enemies, and you saw the bridge stop halfway, all of that work for naught.
You almost didn’t catch the sight of Franky lighting something on fire, burning pieces of paper floating away in the wind.
“We were passing down the blueprints to that ancient weapon to make sure it wouldn’t get used by scumbags like you. But I know Tom would have done the same thing.”
You saw Spandam, and all of CP9, staring open mouthed at the blue haired shipwright, and you knew you were missing something big.
“If you guys make a weapon now, we won’t be able to fight back,” Franky continued, ignoring Spandam’s quivering threats.
“But that’s only possible if you take Nico Robin through the Gates of Justice. I was wrong about you, Robin. You’re not a monster. And you’ve got friends willing to fight for you. Everything’s resting on the Straw Hats now.”
He looked over at you all with a nod, and you swore you saw him wink.
“And I’m betting on them.”
Voices of the Franky Family carried up to the tower, cheering, yelling that they were coming for him. He leaned over the edge to call back to his people, still ignoring the wails of Spandam as he mourned over the loss of those burnt papers.
Ignoring that pathetic man was a mistake, and you gasped as Franky was flung over the side of the building, Spandam’s arms shaking after shoving him over.
You watched in horror, hoping he would survive, until a voice called out of your pocket.
With a jolt, you pulled out the snail, Nami frowning at the grating voice berating you.
“Kokoro,” Nami questioned as you lifted the snail so you could hear her better.
“I left it on, I heard everything. Why are you all just standing around?”
“The bridge broke.”
“There’s no way over!”
You and Nami explained at the same time, yelling over the shouting voices of the rest of the crew.
“Jump into the waterfall! Give it all you’ve got, trust me!”
A train whistle blasted from below, moving closer.
“It’s the sea train,” Luffy laughed, the mischievous sound sending off alarm bells in your mind.
“What’s with that devious chuckle,” Usopp questioned, but he was too late.
Luffy’s arms stretched out behind the whole group, shoving you off the building.`
Plummeting toward death with nothing but Luffy’s arm at your back, and the screaming and crying forms of your crew, you braced for the end.
The end appeared as the beat up train charging over the half lowered bridge, flinging through the air toward the tower.
Tears were streaming from your eyes as you landed on top of the train, body aching with more bruises as you scrambled to hold onto something.
Whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck!
Nothing ever felt real with this crew. Especially as the train slammed through the wall, stone bricks turning to dust and debris as this miracle train skidded to a halt.
Your head swam, dizziness and nausea making you feel like you were still flying after your body left the train, scraping through the rubble.
“Hey, hey, Granny? You okay? Answer me!”
Franky’s voice confused you, and you groaned as you heard Kokoro answering him.
“Alright, we made it! Come on, you guys, get up already!”
You groaned louder at Luffy’s enthusiasm, hearing your hesitation echoed amongst the crew.
“Come on, you’ve been through worse than that!”
“We’re not all made of rubber, you know,” Sanji grumbled, more groans filling the room.
You didn’t know where to hold, pain dotting across your body. You could feel the tickle of blood from a scrape on your shoulder, and your right knee felt like it was hit with a hammer.
Robin.
She was waiting. You stood up, shaking it off, watching your crew do the same.
Chopper and Usopp yelled, hyping themselves up, while Zoro growled, preparing to draw his swords.
You couldn’t help but smile at everyone, determination set on all your dusty, bruised faces.
“See, you’re all just fine,” Luffy complained.
“You know, you guys are a bunch of weirdos. I felt like I should point that out,” said the blue haired man in a speedo with guns in his arms.
“There’s a staircase,” Luffy pointed, already running. “We’d better move it if we’re gonna find Robin.”
“Not so fast,” came a strained voice, high, but rough.
The group spun, finding the source of the voice in the corner of the room, pressed against the ceiling. He was dressed in a black suit, his body so round that your mind couldn’t shake the image of a balloon that had lost its string as he stared down at you.
As he began to speak again, you noticed the dangling of what looked like a golden zipper pull at the corner of his mouth, and wondered what sort of teeth you were seeing behind his lips.
“So you’ve invaded the Tower. There’s no point in going on. Lucci’s already taken Nico Robin to the Gates of Justice, along with Chief.”
“Oh really,” Nami asked with a smirk. “Thanks for telling us where we should start looking.”
You tried to cover your laugh with a cough, but didn’t think you were successful.
Why do so many bad guys love to just tell us everything?
“Why’d I tell them that,” the zippered man muttered to himself.
“He’s not too bright,” Chopper grumbled your thoughts, and you started to get angry again.
Angry at the stupid, evil government, and their stupid, evil agents.
He pulled himself together, puffing his already puffed up chest before spewing threats down at you.
“If you want Nico Robin, you’ll have to fight through all five of our agents.”
“Duh,” Luffy said, and you had to turn around, chewing on your lip to fight your laughter this time.
I’m going insane.
Zoro touched your shoulder, pulling his fingers away with blood from that fresh scrape.
You tried to listen as the group kept talking to that idiot, but Zoro’s worried look distracted you, his eyes and gentle fingers roaming over your banged up body.
“I’m okay,” you whispered as he kissed your forehead.
We don’t have time for this.
“This might be the key to Nico Robin’s sea prism stone handcuffs,” the ceiling creep teased as he held an ornate key up into the light.
“Sea prism stone,” Franky questioned.
“It’s a stone that nullifies devil fruit powers,” Nami explained. “It’s like she’s trapped in sea water.”
Ice filled your gut at the thought of your powerful Robin, so helpless with these monsters.
“So be my guest. Go try to save her if you think you can. But without the right key, she’ll be trapped in those cuffs for the rest of her life. Mine might be the right key, but you’ll have to fight all the other agents for their keys just to be sure–”
Luffy’s fist was there, smashing into the stone, dust falling from the ceiling.
“Damn,” he complained, as the man had escaped at the last second. “I guess all the CP9 guys can use that move.”
“So we’ve gotta beat every CP9 agent, and get all their keys before we can grab Robin,” Zoro asked, frustration in every word.
“What a stupid way to keep us busy,” Sanji grumbled. “While we’re wasting time on this key hunting game, the chief is going to escape with Robin.”
The zipper man was kicking through the air, floating somehow as he continued to taunt you.
“Our first priority is Robin. Let’s ignore that weirdo, and get her first.”
You nodded at Nami’s words, the group already moving toward the stairs.
He tsked at you all, dangling the key out before him.
“If you do that, you’ll leave me no choice. I’ll toss this key into the ocean. We’re kind enough to give you a sporting chance. See ya!”
He buzzed off through the air, as if the balloon just released its air, quickly flying away.
Zoro grabbed onto Luffy before he could follow, trying to wrangle Luffy into deciding on a plan before splitting up.
We’re splitting up.
“He said there’s 5 agents with keys, we need to spread out. Let’s take them down, then meet up.”
Sanji’s voice was strong, reassuring, especially when his warm hand found yours.
Zoro gripped Luffy’s shoulders, tilting his head down to look in his captain's eyes.
“That pigeon guy, Lucci, is with Robin. You take care of him, and we’ll meet you up there.
“If they drag her across those gates, we’ll never get her back! It’s a race against time!”
Usopp’s Sniper King voice had practically echoed, and it rallied the group.
“We’ll take ‘em down, or we’ll die trying.”
Zoro’s eyes fell on yours as he made that vow. You nodded with him, and felt that nothing in this moment mattered except for those words.
The Straw Hats would save Robin. Or you’d all die here. No going back.
Fire burned through you as you charged toward the stairs with your friends, your family.
Sanji still held your hand, but you pulled it away.
“Angel, let’s–”
“I’ll go with Chopper,” you said, waving your friend down.
“No, we can–”
“No, Sanji. I need you to fight. I need you to save Robin. I won’t be a distraction for you.”
You turned, jogging toward Chopper to get away from Sanji’s pleading eyes. He caught you, pulling you to him in a desperate kiss. It lasted just a moment, but the heat of it was in your throat, and you shook your head to fight the tears.
“We’ll get her back, Angel. I promise.”
You gave him the best smile you could, shaky breath leaving faster as you watched the group dispersing.
You turned so you wouldn’t have to watch your boys running away from you. Chopper was waiting, and he patted your back with his big human form hand before running up the stairs.
“This way?”
More fucking stairs.
If CP9 didn’t kill you, it felt like a heart attack just might.
But adrenaline was doing its thing as you and Chopper made your way room by empty room. The floor you’d chosen seemed to be a bust.
Heading back for the stairs, you stumbled into each other as the building rumbled, something crashing up above.
“What do you think that is,” Chopper asked, eyes wide.
“Hopefully it's our friends kicking someone’s ass,” you replied, trying to sound more confident than you were.
“Right!”
More stairs, more empty rooms, and so on.
Until more crashes and yells filled the hall. Nothing could have prepared you for the sight you saw when you looked through the noisy door.
It was a large room, with high ceilings, making the cacophony of noises bounce off the walls.
Zoro and Usopp were together. They were running side by side, yelling and looking back toward…
A humanoid wolf, and a fucking giraffe? With a baseball cap?
Did I accidentally dose myself with Daydream?
Your worry was cut short when they caught sight of the both of you in the doorway. Zoro and Usopp started screaming for you, waving their arms in the air.
Chopper raised his hand in the air, laughing, and you touched his arm to pull it down.
“We’re handcuffed together,” Zoro yelled, waving the hand that was stuck to Usopp.
“Get key number two, or we’re gonna die!”
Usopp’s wails died down as they continued to run from what had to be devil fruit users.
Giraffe’s aren’t supposed to look like that…
“But we can help–”
“No,” Zoro shouted, cutting Chopper off. “We can’t fight ‘til you get the key, and if they take you down, we’re screwed. Somebody else has to have key number two, just find it!”
You’d never heard that level of frustration in Zoro’s voice before.
“Got it,” you agreed, dragging Chopper from the room.
More stairs, more rooms, until you heard voices. Nami’s voice.
Nami’s scream!
Skidding around a corner, you raised your tonfa, but couldn’t tell where to shoot. There was a swirling mass of what looked like pink hair. Nami was held up in the air, twisted and writhing in it.
You charged forward, but Chopper was faster.
“Cloven Roseo!”
He leapt through the air, his hoof smacking into the face of a huge man, his pink hair swirling aside as blood shot out of his mouth.
Nami crumpled to the ground, coughing as you helped her to her feet.
Chopper rushed to her, looking her over.
“Are you okay Nami?”
“I’m okay. Thank you for saving me.”
“How was he attacking you,” you asked, leaning to look where the man had fallen across the room. “Was that his hair?”
“Could be a devil fruit,” Nami rushed, picking up her Clima-Tact. “Don’t know, don’t care. Once he grabs you, you’re done for. Come on, this is our chance to get away. The less we see of that guy, the better.”
You grabbed her elbow as she moved toward the hall.
“We can’t, we need to get his key,” you reminded her, Zoro’s demand ringing through your head.
“Oh, you mean this little thing?”
Nami’s smirk as she held up the key made you love her even more.
“Stealing the key was the easy part,” she bragged, leading the way out of the room. “I just couldn’t deal with that guy’s hair.”
“What number is it,” Chopper asked, his hooves tapping a frantic beat as he ran in his reindeer form.
“Uh, three,” she said, squinting at it while she ran.
“Damn,” you cursed, picturing Zoro and Usopp running from those beasts. “It’s the wrong one.”
“What do you me–”
Nami’s voice cut off, just as the three of you skidded to a stop. You’d reached the massive tower room of seemingly endless staircases climbing toward the sky.
From floors above, something fell hard, crashing onto the stone at your feet.
Covering your eyes from the dust, you leaned forward at whatever it was that had fallen.
“This place is falling apart,” Nami complained, coughing.
Chopper was closest, and let out a horrified gasp, his eyes wide as he shook his head slowly.
“What is it…” you trailed off, mind unable to process what you were seeing.
“Is it a doll?”
You wished that Nami’s question had been true, but then Chopper said the words you didn’t want to believe.
“No. It’s Sanji!”
Disgust and horror almost spilled out your throat in noxious bile. You stumbled, falling to your knees beside this figure that couldn’t be your Sanji. It couldn’t be.
It looked like a poorly drawn picture of him, his hair, his suit, his blood pouring down his face. But it was deformed, almost balloon like, completely smooth and shining in the light.
You were frozen, staring down at him with your mouth opening and closing uselessly. Your hands were just above his chest, but you couldn’t touch him. It can't be him!
Nami and Chopper joined you, yelling for him. Chopper pushed against his chest, and you sobbed as this unreal figure moved, turning its head to cough blood beside you.
“N-No, Sanji? Fuck, baby, is that you?”
Nami and Chopper joined you in your cries for him, and you sat back on your heels as he rolled on his side, pitifully failing to lift himself up with his stretched and wobbling limbs.
“I’m sorry… I lost,” he choked out, every word sounding painful as blood kept dribbling from his lips.
“I couldn’t get the k-key.”
“Hold on, okay,” Chopper comforted him, looking over Sanji’s body as if there was something he could do to help.
You were too stunned, still scared to touch him, when Nami’s sharp voice cut through.
“Hey, Sanji,” she started, standing with her weapon gripped in her hands. You followed her gaze up floors of stairs. Your blood ran cold at the sight of Kalifa, the blonde CP9 agent smiling down at you all.
“You really couldn’t win,” Nami continued, her questioning tone forcing denial to build in your stomach, but her words felt too true.
“You really gave it your all? You fought that blonde woman, didn’t you? I see. You must have gone easy on her.”
“Sanji, please,” you denied, shaking your head.
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t get the key,” he choked out.
“Forget the key,” Nami yelled, anger flinging toward the man at her feet. “This fight is a matter of life and death. You can’t stick to your stupid code of honor, okay? Is chivalry really worth dying for? People are counting on you!”
Your mouth opened and closed again, but nothing came out. Part of you wanted to defend him, and part of you wanted to slap him for not giving his all for Robin, for everyone, for himself.
But mainly you just wanted to fall onto him and cry, to find some way to fix him.
“I don’t want this,” he coughed again, voice so weak, it hurt. “I don’t want to die. But I was raised to never hit a lady, no matter what. So even at a time like this, even if it kills me, I won’t kick a woman.”
“I see... That’s stupid,” Nami judged, voice deadly calm. Then she hit him on the head with her Clima-Tact, and you choked out a surprised laugh as Chopper yelled at her for hitting him while he’s wounded.
“Is running away against your code of honor too? Because that’s not worth dying over either. Nobody wants to see you throw your life away in vain. Leave that woman to me. You try to get better.” She looked back down at him with a soft smile. “And by the way, even if it’s dumb, I do like that chivalry of yours.”
You looked down at him, and shook your head, disagreeing.
“I don’t think I like it anymore.”
He tilted toward you, voice soft.
“What was that, Angel? Did you say you love me?”
Before you could kiss him, or wring his neck, Nami cleared her throat. You turned to her as she stared up at the woman that had done this to Sanji.
“For the record, I won't play nice,” Nami threatened, confidence radiating from her as she smiled.
“Neither will I. We’ll get along fine.”
“Nami, hold on,” you called, rushing to her side.
“We’re running out of time, Y/N,” she reminded you, holding her palm out to stop your movement. “You guys go get more keys. I’ll be okay, noodle arms.”
You huffed a laugh as she frowned at Sanji.
“Well, I guess he’s noodle arms now.”
You gripped her in a quick hug, hating letting her go. Your mouth was dry as you watched her run up the stairs.
“Hold it! I won’t let you get away!”
You swiveled around, blocking Sanji from the new voice.
“Don’t worry, Nami. We’ve got this one,” Chopper shouted, facing off with the large man from before, that mass of pink hair swirling around him as he brandished a staff.
Readying your tonfa, your heart raced through you. You wanted to run up and help Chopper, but you were terrified of leaving Sanji’s limp body exposed for attacks.
I never thought I’d be the one worried about protecting my partners in battle.
Gritting your teeth, you watched Chopper land a powerful hit with two hooves, preventing the agent from getting past him to chase after Nami.
Pride filled you as Chopper stood strong, staring the man down.
“That’s right, now you’ll be fighting me. Bring it!”
Chopper using his rumble balls was always a sight to behold, and you hoped that it would be enough. You felt your hands shaking as you held your weapons, wondering if you could use the darts without risking Chopper.
The agent landed some heavy hits on your friend, and you itched to move in, but felt trapped in place.
“Angel, go. I’ll be fi–”
“No,” you cut him off, not taking your eyes off the fight as they slammed each other into the wall.
“Please, mon coeur, I look dead already. No one will care about me. I just need to rest. The crew needs you.”
Chewing your lip, you hated that those words you’d wanted to be true for so long came at the cost of all this danger and pain.
You looked away from the fight just long enough to touch his face, your skin crawling at the sickly smooth feel of his.
“I love you. I’ll be back.”
“Love you, Angel,” he coughed, what looked like a smile pulling weakly at his lips. “I know you will.”
Running toward the fight, Chopper caught your eyes for a moment and shouted.
“Two minutes!”
Two minutes? Two minutes…
The rumble ball!
“Got it,” you yelled, calling out your poison thorns.
Two minutes left for Chopper’s rumble ball. You had no idea if you could defeat this CP9 agent in two minutes.
But I’ll do whatever it takes. My crew needs me.
Likes and reblogs bring me much ✨dopamine✨ thank you so much!

The reason why (I think) Qi Yan starts to be amnesiac 1) Her mental health was already degrading which had am impact on her critical thought process 2) The red pill which Ding You gives her to remove the poison (the water disease + her womanly features) but it had a side effect which gave her a state of amnesia

Chengji 10th year Jingnu (Age -32) retires from the throne
1 year later of retirement They meet again with Qi Yan meeting her for the "first" time after Jingnu's 4 years of searching There is some hope as Qi Yan hugged Jingnu back Qi Yan (37) Jingnu (33)
My speculation (added with author's info) Within the next year Jingnu moved here, bought the school where Qi Yan was teaching Qi Yan moves in Jingnu 's estate
and they get married again! and this time its a love marriage! They drink the ceremonial wine which they didn't 20 years ago
Happily Ever After

I love the facial expressions the teams have on the bottom of the page 🤭
I also edited the first panel so that the panel on the tablet is from my previous page coloring. I love that little detail bc I forget that I did that and every time I look back at it I'm surprised I did that lol

Continuing with my screaming for the 1863rd round, so SPOILERS + this one is a little long
Ch 288:
Kdj petting yjh's head ahhhhesophjeapgsh
Good, it's the least he deserved after kdj broke his spirit in the last chapter
And Gabriel being reminded of herself and Uriel?? Pls tell me more, I'm listening
Pffff, I didn't expect this XD yjh completely obediently eating the soil lmaoooooo
Oh, but you don’t have the heart to kill your favourite protagonist, do you? You don’t have the heart to kill the person you’ve come to know and love
*vibrating in my seat* *sees the next chapter* awwwww it was just knw
Ch 290:
Han Sooyoung my queeeeeeeeennnnn
Doksoo’s back and forth is fun as always
Uriel, my love! I wasn’t expecting her to appear ahhhhhhh
Ch 291:
Ohhh, is this what the Forth Wall did? Giving flashes of memories to yjh? Sneaky sneaky if that is true.
But!!! Yjh saying Uriel's name softly, "like a child first learning to speak"... ahhhhhhh them!!!
Ch 292:
NOOOOOOOOOO I didn’t expect to be crying for both yjh and Uriel in this arc, you can’t do this ;-;
And oh sweetie… A world where Uriel isn’t a friend is so strange after spending so much time with the 3rd round Uriel.
1863rd hsy’s 'Predictive Plagiarism' sounds really interesting. And combined with her Avatar ability, she sure is terrifying
Once again I can hear my heart shattering. A world in which the ending is possible without sacrifices. Except one. One single sacrifice that nobody of this world would mourn. Only the original protagonist and no one else (Yoo Mia isn't here. She is gone, isn't she ;-;). I’m just (╥╯^╰╥) 1863rd hsy may not need yjh to reach the end but I want him to. Can’t you let him get away with it, at least once? Can’t he too, reach the end with everyone else? But even if he does, will it be worth it? In a world he has no one by his side, in a world he isn’t wanted? Oh Yoo Joonghyuk…
Hsy’s last words in this chapter feel so final, so unforgiving. The only feeling they induce is quiet despair (it wasn’t supposed to end like that)
Ch 293:
YES TELL HER SWEETIE
Okay, not the time for this but six-winged kdj sounds so hot…
Kim Dokja saved her,,,, It’s not his Uriel. Her fury against Yoo Joonghyuk is justified, he said,,, And yet, he didn’t have the heart to let her die… I’m just *ugly sobbing noises* (╥╯^╰╥)
Ahhh being surrounded by the people who look exactly like his colleagues, friends, and yet standing amidst strangers. It’s such a lonely feeling, the 1863rd round. I wonder, is this how yjh has always felt each regression?
Kim Dokja sounds so tired here. “What’s new about this story”, you wonder as you gaze at the broken protagonist. What’s so different about this world, when in the end, it ends the same. Someone has to die for everyone else to reach the end. But that’s the same as every other round, isn’t it? (╥╯^╰╥)
“They could never be the original” – I’m dying oahgsohsapoegg KIM DOKJAAAAAAA
The original always holds a special place in a person’s heart… Maybe they don’t like the way the story was handled or the way it ended or some of the characters’ actions… Maybe they liked a lot of things and disliked an equal amount of them… But still, it’s the original. It’s the thing you fell in love with, the thing that gave you something to hold on to, something to cherish… Of course a reproduction could never surpass the original...
I can’t believe that he’s wormed his way into their group already… Actually, no. I can believe that. It’s Kim Dokja after all XD
He fought all alone,,,,
*Shaking 1863 hsy upside down* What do you mean he promised to die! What do you meannnnnn
TELL ME WHAT YOU MEAN BY THAT YOU CRYPTIC BASTARDS-
Ch 294
wheeze Poor lhs
He’s thinking about his kids!!! He wants to go back, even if he doesn’t admit it ;-;
Look at him praising yjh even now awwww
…. Kim Dokja… He really should stop being so mean with knw, poor guy
I’m having too many emotions rn helloooo. They are his friends! He cares! He wants to go back!!!! Ahhhh
Oh no. Oh no. I have one (1) fear
*screams into the void* I shouldn’t read this while sober *I say and drink a whole cup of tea ‘cause I’m sick rn* Honestly though, this part... Kim Dokja's desperation, effort, love, his resolution... I think this part will stay with me for a long long time...
It's just… this whole part to the end of the chapter. Kim Dokja tried. He tried so hard. He gave his best. He knows how this story is supposed to end. And once again, just like with 41st sys, he tried his best. He tried to find a way to change the ending. I love him so much. God, I love him so much (╥╯^╰╥)
“It was an effort that perhaps no one would understand” *screams* *insert crying gif here*
ALSO ALSO, KDJ’S EYES BEING COMPARED TO STARS… AHHHHH
Yoo Joonghyuk listened. He listened. I can’t even explain how much this means to me, nor the way my heart is shattered on the floor right now (╥╯^╰╥) It was a story he didn’t know. It was a story written by someone who wished, from the bottom of his heart, for Yoo Joonghyuk’s happiness ahhhhhhhhh
This arc will be the death of me ahhhhh
#orv#orv spoilers#moon reacts to orv#kim dokja#1863rd round spoilers#i didn't expect the end of chapter 294 to hit me so hard#how am I supposed to go to my exam tomorrow and function as a normal human being when they say#that a quiet resolution burned in Kim Dokja's eyes and his back was weary as he gradually fell asleep while looking for a way to save yjh??

All of these pages look so off...like no proper inking on Ochako and twice clones, no proper background etc.
Like it's pretty clear now, that the author is just speed running all the way to the end of this manga. And it makes me a little sad because toga may not get a proper conclusion as Dabi and Shouto, which sucks because of how long this fight has been building up to.
After ch 288 where Ochako showcased Zero Satellites, this was her new super move in ch 391, after 100+ chapters of wait and this is what we get. What even is this super move? Zero Gravity Space Walk?
I'm pretty sure better things could have been done with a quirk like hers, plus didn't she already had a move like this in an anime original episode?
Infact, this plane one looks better when compared with the one with Toga. We might as well get Gravity Plus (anime original) or Ultra Gravity wave (heroes rising) while we're still at it.
Like why not let her use her spring boots to give her momentum and launch attacks?
Why not use her helmet for communication more often and add features to it?
Why not an advanced version of Comet Homerun?
Why not more moves like Meteor showers (sports fest)?
There is so much that can be done with her quirk!!
At least update her weight limit for god's sake, some people actually believe it's still 3 tons when we have seen her lift an entire bus, plane and what not!
I was so excited for Ochako vs Toga but with the direction that series is going, I think it's gonna be very underwhelming.

1 Chronicles 25: 7. "The Supervision of the King."
Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were under the supervision of the king.
7 Along with their relatives—all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord—they numbered 288. 8 Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots for their duties.
The King is Chabad, mastery of the faculties, which is derived from the combination of Chochmah, intuition, Binah, understanding, and Daas, application.
The three lines stand for the three intellectual faculties of the Sefiros: the right line being Chochmah, the flash of an idea; the left line being Binah, understanding; and the centerline Daas, application of knowledge.
This thing, Chabad, is the most foundation of Kabbalah and cannot be dispensed with. It is also why only a Chasid, who mantains awareness of Chabad in this miserable lost world can appoint the King of Israel as only a Chasid will know if he possessed of Chochmah, Binah and Daas sufficient to conduct the Temple Musicians in the peformance of the script.
To cast lots for the duties to serve with the King of Israel and perform in his band, one must commit to the practice of Kabbalah and demonstrate mastery over the rest of what characteriszes the apprehensive world:
Finally, there is the dimension of the emotions, or middos. Here the shin’s right line represents Chessed, kindness; the left line represents Gevurah, severity or discipline; and the centerline represents Tiferes, mercy or compassion.
Furthermore, the three lines of the shin can signify the three pillars upon which the world stands:6 the study of Torah, prayer and good deeds.
The Gematria for 288 is related to the number of eons or "stars" that fall from the sky during imprisonment in Egypt. Under normal comnditions the four sets of 72 nexus to one another and produce an automatic magnitism between the self and the Holiest of Holies, the Self. In Egypt, where one wastes time, the stars, the sky and the creative surface do not meet and all the planes go dark. Mashiach has the power to instantly connect the Four Planes and restore nearness to God in the Quarternary Planes:
The level of the 288 sparks are explained in detail in Etz Chayim, Shaar 18. The rationale for the number 288 is explained in ch. 2: “The number of 288 sparks stems from the four dimensions of 72 that descended from the four forms of the name Havayah (i.e., Havayah [with a milui10of] 72, 63, 45, and 52). Together they are 288 sparks.” See also Pri Etz Chayim, Shaar HaKerias Shema, ch. 9, and Mishnas Chassidim, Maseches HaNitzutzin.
With regard to this concept, it is explained — see Torah Or (Parshas Vayeishev, the maamar entitled ViHinei Anachnu, sec. 2) — that the number 288 refers to the sparks as they existed in Atzilus. As they fell from Atzilus to the world of Beriah and fell from Beriah to Yetzirah and from Yetzirah to Asiyah, they became divided and separated into thousands and myriads.
Atzilus=
Atziluth or Atzilut (also Olam Atsiluth, עוֹלָם אֲצִילוּת, literally "the World of Emanation") is the highest of four worlds in which exists the KabbalisticTree of Life. It is also known as "near to God."[1]Beri'ah follows it. It is known as the World of Emanations, or the World of Causes.
Beriah=
Beri'ah (Hebrew: בְּרִיאָה), Briyah, or B'ri'ah (also known as Olam Beriah, עוֹלָם בְּרִיאָה in Hebrew, literally "the World of Creation"), is the second[1] of the four celestial worlds in the Tree of Life of the Kabbalah, intermediate between the World of Emanation (Atziluth) and the World of Formation (Yetzirah), the third world, that of the angels. It is known as the World of Creation, or Korsia (from Heb. כּוּרסָה - "seat, chair", the Throne).
Yetzirah=
he word Yetzirah is more literally translated as "Formation"; the word Briah is used for "Creation".
Asiyah=
According to the system of the later Land of Israel Kabbalah, 'Asiyah is the lowest of the spiritual worlds containing the Ten Heavens and the whole system of mundane Creation. The light of the Sefirot emanates from these Ten Heavens, which are called the "Ten Sefirot of 'Asiyah"; and through them spirituality and piety are imparted to the realm of matter—the seat of the dark and impure powers.
Representing purely material existence, it is known as the World of Action, the World of Effects or the World of Making. In western occultism it is associated with the Suit of Pentacles (or Coins or Disks, the terminology varies according to the deck) in the Tarot. The world of Yetzirah precedes it.
On this basis, we can understand why this exile has been prolonged for so long. For as is well known, the intent is to refine the 288 sparks and when their refinement is completed, Mashiach will come; may that be speedily in our days, Amen.
(The Hagahas Tzemach — to Mevo Shaarim, Shaar 2, Vol. III, ch. 9 — resolves this matter somewhat differently; see also Emek HaMelech, ch. 53.) Torah Or, Parshas Bo, the maamar entitled B’Etzem HaYom states: “288 sparks fell during the shattering of the vessels. From them, 202 were refined in the Egyptian exile.”
Chabad is the sign and also the means for the levels of refinement needed to leave Egypt and guarantee one never returns. So long as the Chasids, the Sheherds of Humanity ensure the King of Israel is loyal to its principals the world is safe from Egypt. While these are absent, there is great risk.

More Ch 91 thoughts (spoiler)
More thoughts Ch 91
Lari: Don’t do that. I hope your highness will become a wise Emperor who is loved by the people. I believe your highness can become someone like that.
Rupert: That’s so ridiculous, I don’t even know where to start [Not “start” as in begin something, but “start” as in deny what she says because it’s impossible]
This is very subtle from the novel, that I didn’t realize until now, but I appreciate Lari’s line of thinking so much. This is the first hint of when she tells us she wishes that Rupert chooses peace when he becomes emperor, and we’ll see the continuation of this conversation in a few more chapters.
The criticism some fans have:
Lari tells Rupert that she wants him to become a wise Emperor, to choose peace, to not kill. Both her and Rupert fully know that the Empress’ faction - The Empress herself, Nigelle, Arnulf, Duke Arnbach; Duke Ventibolt’s faction, even the bigger nobles don’t want him in power and use methods including assassination attempts to get rid of him. Even knowing all this Lari tells him she doesn’t want him to kill them, and he actually listens.
Fans complain how stupid she is, how her brain is full of rainbows and sunshine, and she’s making life harder for Rupert because of “peace”.
BUT, THERE’S MORE TO IT. The details that were scattered in the novel, and manhwa too:
In previous chapters, It’s established that Lari cares a lot about Rupert now. She genuinely wishes for his happiness (Ch 75, Ch 82, Ch 84). Chapter 75, in their world, was Sept 287. It was “Early Summer” 288 in Ch 84 where she says “I’ll make sure you do (find happiness)). From even before he became Crown Prince to now, she has been thinking of ways for him to become happy. This is her answer: by knowing the “past”, she can change the “future”. In TL1, the rumors about him were nasty (recall the first few chapters). He was initially the “handsome prince that descended from the heavens”, but months after becoming Emperor he started his rampage. Arnulf was pitied by the people, as he had his position of Emperor ‘stolen’ by Rupert, who came out of nowhere, and ended up getting executed ‘for no reason’, after the Empress died in a ‘accidental fire’. He killed the Empress, Tory, with a shotgun meant for hunting game the night of their wedding. He killed a random Count’s entire family. He killed some military commanders. He executed Duke Ventibolt’s entire family, then moved his sights to execute Belois. The circulating rumors at the time was that Rupert was crazy for blood, had an insatiable need to kill, and just one look from him was enough to kill.
She’s not entirely sure what happened in TL1, but the Rupert she knows now is not the same. He’s kind, observant, and minds his own business. He won’t hurt others unless he was hurt first or needed to protect himself/his life (Ch 82). She also knows that there was a lot of warped information from TL1 - Just like how there’s been multiple assassination attempts from his enemies right now, in TL1 he chose to get rid of them first. That’s less of an eyesore for him, but the public’s reaction to it was that he was unnecessarily cruel and killed indiscriminately, even though he was silently targeted all these years. No one believed the fire that killed the Empress was accidental - it was obvious that the only one who would have benefitted from her death was Rupert. In TL1, she suspected he was alone and lonely and hated up until his death, with no one to grieve or mourn him.
Lari doesn’t want this Rupert to have the same fate. The solution that Lari came up to ensure Rupert’s happiness: Maybe, this time, he’ll feel fulfilled if the people loved him as their Emperor. He’ll have the support of the people who will advocate for him and choose him instead of his enemies. He’s already doing that with those under his jurisdiction at 5th Ave Marketplace - he controls the merchant guilds and they all appreciate what he does to make life easier for them.
When Rupert asks her what she means by “becoming a wise Emperor”, she tells him she knows it’s dangerous and annoying for him, but she wishes he spare his enemies. It’s easy to strike first and kill them before they kill him, but rumors will spread that he’s out for blood, and he’ll easily earn the resentment of the people and develop a negative reputation. This time, he has to build his forces quietly, have Louis help him behind the scenes, and corner his enemies to attack in the open so when he strikes back, it’ll appear as self defense. So if/when they DO die or are captured, it’s because they committed treason, but because he was out hunting for blood. She also requests that he take consideration and give fair and just punishments - he may have the authority to kill anyone he wants, but she wants him to take in consideration the person’s circumstances and give a bit of mercy - there’s fates worse than death. Again, she knows that it’s dangerous and a lot of work for him, but she really does think that he’ll be happier if he doesn’t kill everyone that annoys him and he has the support of the people.
What Lari fails to realize though, is that SHE is his source of happiness. It never struck her that SHE can bring him happiness. But still, she at least came up with this idea in his best interest. Rupert didn’t agree to this idea because he thought it would make him happy, instead, he agreed because Lari seemed convinced that if he had a good reputation with the people he’ll be happy, and once he’s happy SHE’LL be happy, so in the end, he easily agrees with this plan of hers.
During their one-year separation, where Lari told him to consider her dead and never think/dream of her again, Rupert was fully capable of reverting back to his initial choice of killing all his enemies, but he chose not to. No matter what,he still found traces of her everywhere. During her absence, he chose to continue her wish - he continued to accumulate power in the background as he avoided assassination attempts, waiting for the best time to strike back. He actively participated in the Council of Nobles meetings, establishing his authority as Emperor and making it known that no one should dare oppose him. He passed some policies that made life a bit easier for the people, and within months, his popularity as Emperor skyrocketed. Rumors spread that the Empress’ faction was targeting him, and the people supported Rupert, spreading negative rumors about her faction. When Arnulf and the queen were captured for their crimes, he gave fair but firm sentences that earned him more popularity.
Again, Rupert doesn’t find happiness in all this, it’s just his “role” as the Emperor. But what makes him happy, is that he’s creating a world that Lariette would be happy in, and THAT’s what makes him happy. To help her move on from her trauma from TL1, he’s proven over and over he doesn’t seek blood, the world they live in is now a little bit more fair and just, and there still is some beauty in the world. But above all - he will, and never hurt her, and he’ll replace her memories of TL1 with new memories from this life now. He acknowledged what she went through hurt her so much, but just like how she helped him move on and heal from his childhood trauma with his mother and Crazy Emperor, they too, will also move on towards THEIR future. It brings him infinite joy when she does choose to stay with him, accept and reciprocate his feelings as his Empress - but also, she chooses to study and become a High Court Judge to continue to support him. The High Court Judge is a position that has been vacant for decades, and is a position closely affiliated with the Empire’s religion/holy land/original laws that has as much power as the Emperor himself. It’s a position that can be used to oppose the Emperor, but Lari uses it to further strengthen Rupert’s power in order to make meaningful, positive changes to the corrupt Empire and set it right.
:)
