I actually sketched this recently :)

uhhh in my #magical girlies hashtag there’s some stuff but they all have an “element” attributed to them I very rarely refer to them as elements in my head to me they’re more like pillars of power! At the beginning it is believed they got their powers by chance and being at the right place at the right time but that is not the case they’re specifically granted powers (I think). Im not sure how their power manifests yet! Once upon a time it was like magical girls and outfit change and also wands but that was all scraped! I wanted to focus in the fashion aspect of it since that was the reason they were made in the first place~

Oh but yes they all have individual powers and strengths they bring to their little coven (they’re all kinda clueless so is this even a coven LOL) all together they can conduct the greatest good and bad known to man or something. when the four of them are together kinda like columns holding together a house or something 3 is good too but 4 is better! Funny considering their all coming from broken homes and complicated upbringings :P

Uhh Violet and Grace are polar opposite of eachother and balance and Jenny and Mickey are the same! Again with the house and pillar thing a platform can be held by 2 pillars on opposite sides but it’s not as strong it will hold up eventually but in the end it will crumble.

There’s also some involvement of cardinal directions and signs and astrology somewhere I wrote down but i forget so it’s less relevant LOL

There’s actually a lot of things in considering for this like part of me wants to make it scary! there’s a lot of topics of death and dying in it tho rebirth and all that and a wittle but of American Christian iconography
