A tribute to my Moon

In the news of Moonbin's death, I've been really struggling but I thought I'd share something amusing and cute about my journey with Astro. Not many know but Astro was my first ever kpop group. One day I was bored and watching web dramas and stumbled upon "To Be Continued" and I immediately fell in love. Moonbin was immediately my bias(I will admit that later Rocky became my bias but Moonbin has always had a special place in my heart and was my biad wreaker). Moonbin's smile and personality always stuck out to me and brought me comfort. Anyways so I have been with them since late 2016 when they were still relatively new.

The other day I decided to look through my old writing and found a folder called "Kpop Writing" I immediately opened and read all of them as I had forgotten about them and was curious. I was immediately shocked to find a piece I wrote in 2017. It was about Astro. So today I thought I'd share that piece completely unedited cause I want it to stay in the happy awful writing of my 16-year-old self. If I had continued writing this I would have totally made Moonbin the love interest. Anyways if you want to read some pretty bad writing here it is. Rest in peace, my sweet Moonbin.

Sprinting down the cobble streets feet aching. Then suddenly slam and I’m down on the ground. Coffee drips from an empty cup, the rest, all on me. Not even a single drop on the person I crashed into. I sigh wanting to scream. I was already late for my crappy job as a Batista but now I was covered in coffee. And it wasn’t just coffee it had whipped cream and caramel. I look up to the person in front of me. They are tall and the sun blocks there face from my eyes. I jump up quickly.

“I’m so sorry! Here let me pay!” I say quickly pulling out money.

“No it’s alright! If anything I should be giving you something.” He pauses, “Oh, here.” He pulls a hoodie from his backpack.

“This literally is what I need I was just heading to my job, thank you. How can I get this back to you?” I nervously look up to see a very tall dark haired boy in front of me.

“Don’t just keep it.” He says.

“At least give me your number I need to pay you back.” I mumble.

“Alright.” He smiles. I hand him my phone and he puts in his info.

“Alright great. I’ll text you. Bye.” I say and run off. I rush all the way to my job stumbling over my feet.

           “Your late.” I hear as I stumble through the door.

           “I know, I'm sorry. I ran into someone and got coffee spilled all over me.” I mumble putting my apron on over the hoodie he gave me.

          “Well luckly you work with coffee.” Sara says coming around the corner with a drink in her hand.

        “Sure that's what you call it, lucky.” I turn around as the door rings, signalling a customer. “Good morning.” I say.

        “Morning.” A voice says cheerfully. I turn around to see a group of 6 boys. One looks very familiar.

        “Its you.” The boy says staring at you.

       “I'm just as surprised.” I mumble.

       “What do you mean?” The tallest says staring at me. He plays with his newly dyed hair.

       “I know, this is the girl he ran into.” The shortest says smiling a almost cheesy smile.

       “More like I ran into him, again sorry. Anyways what can I get for you?”

      “Six hot chocolates please.” The shortest says.

      “How much?” The tallest says pulling out money.

     “I’ll pay. I did ruin his other drink.” I say smiling.

    “No you shouldn't.” The guy from before says.

    “What why?” I ask.

    “How about you come to our practice and tell us if its good?” The tallest one says. I look at him confused. He seems the youngest of the six which fits with his randomness.

    “Yeah!” The shortest says.

    “What do you mean?” I ask.

    “Were trainees.” The guy from before says.

    “Oh. Alright I'll come.” I say and smile.

    “Y/n have the day off. Go change and have fun.” Sara says from behind me.

    “Really? Thank you.” I say and practically jump up and down. I grab my stuff and take off my apron. I meet them outside and smile.

    “Hi. I’m MJ.” The shortest says shaking my hand, I smile. “This is Sanha.” He says pointing to the tallest one who looks the youngest. “The two shorties over there are Rocky and JinJin.” He says pointing to a dark brown hair boy and a dyed blonde boy. He called them short yet there taller than him. I laugh.

     “I’m Moonbin and he’s Eunwoo.” The guy from before says and points to the dark haired boy next to him.

     “Nice to meet you I'm Y/n.” I say shyly and smile.

     “Come on it's cold.” Sanha whines and runs off towards the tall entertainment building. I laugh and follow after the boys. I walk beside Moonbin and look at him nervously.

     “I'm really sorry about before.” I say.

    “Don't be. I wasn't looking either.” He says smiling down at me.

    “When should I get this back to you.” I ask pulling at the hoodie.

    “I already told you just keep it. It looks cute anyways.” He says and I see a slight pink on his cheeks making me blush and smile.

     “Alright.” I mumble hugging the to big hoodie around me. We walk through the doors of the building and I stop in awe. The building is huge and modern. It has pictures lining the wall of people I know from kpop and TV.

     “Cool right?” The boy named Rocky says.

     “Yeah.” I mumble looking over at him.

     “Come on let's go to the practice room.” Sanha says excitedly and grabs my hand pulling me forward.

     “Alright.” I say smiling at his childishness. We walk down long halls and I'm pretty sure were lost until he pulls me into a dance studio. My eyes widen. This is the biggest practice room I've seen.

     “Here sit down.” Sanha say pulling me to the couch at the front. I sit and watch as he runs off to the others. Music starts to play from the speakers and the boys dance. I stare in amazement as they don't mess up.

     The music stops and there all huffing and puffing. I jump up and clap happily.

     “That was amazing!” I say.

     “Thanks.” Jinjin says leaning on Eunwoo.

     “Here you are.” A man says entering the room. “Were going to talk about tomorrow's schedule.” He says to the boys then trails off as he spots me. “Who’s this?”

     “This is Y/n.” Sanha says happily as I bow my head.

     “Sorry for intruding.” I say.

     “Its alright.” He says and pauses, “Have you ever thought about going into the entertainment business.” He says after a minute.

     “I thought about it but was nervous.” I mumble.

     “Can you dance, sing, or rap?” He asks walking closer.

    “I like to but I don't think it's any good.” I say shyly.

    “Can you show us?” He says sitting on the couch.

    “I guess.” I say shyly.

    “Yeah! You'll do great!” Mj yells running to the couch. The boys follow with faces of slight shock. They all sit down.

     “Don't feel like you have to.” Rocky says.

     “Its ok.” I mumble shyly. “What first?”

     “Dance please.” The man says smiling.

     “Alright.” I mumble. Someone starts the music and Bts Dope plays. I smile happily, I had just choreographed a dance to this. I dance around and as soon as I'm done I'm greeted by clapping.

     “That was so cool! Did you choreograph that?” Sanha asks excitedly. I nod my head.

     “That was great. Could you please rap and sing for us. Whatever song you want.” The man says.

     “Alright.” I say and start to sing (add song title) and even do the rap. After I'm done I look to them nervously. The boys are staring at me wide eyed.

     “Sorry I'm not very good.” I mumble.

     “Yeah.” The man pauses, “your amazing.” He says smiling. “How would you like to join a group here?” He asks smiling. I look at him in shock.

     “Really?” I squeak. He nods. I stare at him wide eyed and nod quickly. The boys cheer and run up to me. Sanha hugs me and then suddenly its a group hug.

     “Call your family and have them come here. For now stay with the boys will I talk to the boss.” The man says leaving.

     “That was amazing. The manager must have thought you looked perfect.” Eunwoo says smiling.

     “Well look at her.” Mj says laughing. I blush shyly.

     “I guess I should call my family.” I say sitting on the couch. I pull out my phone and call them as the boys joke around and Moonbin sits beside me.

      “Thank you.” I say smiling.

      “What?” He asks.

      “Us bumping into each other and you bring me here has lead this to happen. So its thanks to you.” I say and here my mom pick up. “Hi mom.” I say right before Moonbin can say that it's not true.

     “Hi sweetie. Why are you calling?” Her voice spills through the speaker.

     “It's actually a long story but can you and dad come to (studio name) please? It's very important. I'll meet you in the lobby.” I say happily.

     “Why?” Mom says nervously.

     “It's a long story but could you please come.”

     “Alright alright, be there in five.” She says laughing, “see you soon.”

Idol Wing AU: Star 1: The Debut!

Group Dorm - MAX1M Entertainment

Today is YUM1E's debut day, all the members were looking forward to their debut with the single: Dream World, the MV has already been released and now they are officially a loop group, ready to handle a big hit.

- Finally! Our group debuted! - said Brighie - Long live YUM1E!

- Alive! - said the other members

Everyone cheered, now they were happy that their years as simple trainees were over and they were now a real group.

- Our trainee years were horrible - said Vicky - every humiliation we went through to debut

- Especially for you two, isn't it? - said Miah - Sophie and Lollo

The aforementioned were very sad because their teachers humiliated them a lot because the two were not of the Korean beauty standard, because the two they were foreigners, hence more and more prejudice.

Flashback - Sophie's Mind

A flashback in Sophie's mind, showing her and her youngest sister Lollo, both in the practice room, creating a super difficult choreography that the teacher had passed, but what saddened Sophie, was the fact that whatever mistakes they had, but charges for "perfection" they are.

- Did you get it wrong again? - said the teacher - she had to be a foreigner, if she were Korean she wouldn't make a mistake.

- I'm sorry ma'am - said Sophie - I'll try harder

- You will never be good enough, neither you nor your sister who is also a negation - said the teacher - I admire that the CEO still accepts foreigners in the auditions, I don't think there should be this global audition joke, K-pop is for Koreans, not for foreigners. Back in position!

Sophie returned to her position, and practiced that choreography for hours, it seemed that being a foreigner, no matter how hard she tried, it would be worthless.

Back to the dorm - MAX1M Entertainment

Sophie came out of the flashback relieved and now as a K-idol, she will prove to her sister and her group that they can be a success.

- Sophie, sister - said Lollo - are you ok?

- Don't worry sister - Sophie said - I'll be fine

- Hey girls! - said Vicky - stop being sad and let's start the party!

- Yes! - all members say

Sunny's Hangar - World Aircraft

Sunny was in her hangar with her headphones on listening to a K-pop playlist, ranging from 3th generation groups (Super Junior, Girls Generation, EXO, Big Bang, 2NE1, 4Minute and others) to current groups of the 4th generation (IVE, æspa, New Jeans, NMIXX and others), but then a song Sunny had never heard, Dream World by YUM1E.

Sunny started listening and immediately fell in love with the group, with the music that was contagious and pleasant to listen to, with the members who were very beautiful and by the fantasy concept, totally different from anything you've ever seen.

- What was this? This song is wonderful! - Sunny said replaying Dream World - I need to hear it again!

Sunny listened once, twice, three times and hundreds of times, she didn't stop anymore, the music became bubblegum in Sunny.

After Sunny's wonderful encounter with Dream World, she got to know the group and its members in depth, not to mention that she was now part of the group's famdom, and of course, Vicky became her Bias.

- I need to show this to the girls - Sunny said - I'm sure they love Dream World as much as I do!

Days later

Sunny called her Super Wings friends to listen to the song and give their opinion, they all loved it as the musical Super Wing already predicted, They started talking and getting to know more about the group and each one of them had their own bias.

- My Bias is Brighie - said Dizzy - she is confident and determined and always willing to motivate and support the group as a true leader

- I like Brighie, but Mine Bias is Flora - said Mira - she is so cute and sweet, She loves nature, She is well disciplined and cautious.

- Flora is really well educated and My Bias is Aria - said Astra - she has the same screw loose as my brother Astro, without being over the top, I like that

- Aria really loves danger and My Bias is Akira - said Crystal - She is a talent machine! Both in rap and dance

- I confess that I'm open with Akira in the MV, My Bias is Sophie - said Neo - She always knows when someone needs help, and she knows how to help.

- Sophie is thoughtful and kind, My Bias is Lollo - said Ellie - she is very cute and smart as hell, she knows a little bit of everything, she is very reminiscent of grandpa knows how to answer any question.

- It's true Lollo is really smart, My Bias is Cherie - said Lime - Ama loves sports and has a screw loose like Aria, I love it too

- She is full of adventures, My Bias is Miah - said Sky - Together with Brighie, she supports the group, it's good that she always helps when someone is not well.

- I like Miah a lot, but My Bias is Ivieh - said Kim - she is very crazy and dares to take super difficult steps and challenges, and she always succeeds.

- you already know who my Bias is - Sunny said - and now as we are DREAM1ES we need to support the group and ensure that they are popular on the music charts

- Yes - said Dizzy - let's do this anonymously, as we are also "famous" we need to be more careful

AU! IkeRev Suitors in a KPOP Group! HCS

Because while I was making the Just Do It Lyric video if Blanc, Oliver and Kyle were to sing it had me thinking if they were part of a subunit, what the actual group would be like... 

(I wanted to do a super group and have all of the suitors in one big group but it was too much to try and make facts for all of them so I handpicked my own suitors I would put in a group together. They are listed in order of oldest to youngest for this AU)

Stage name: Lance Real name: Lancelot Kingsley Position: Leader, Lead Rapper, Sub Vocalist, Producer Nationality: Korean-Taiwanese

Has trained the longest out of the everyone in the group with 6 years

Has also known Harr the longest amongst the members

Although he is half Taiwanese he only speaks Korean

Is known for his amazing charisma on stage, however off stage he is very quiet and actually very clumsy. One time after their comeback stage as they were exiting he walked into one of the floating cameras

In a Dingo interview when asked who was the most troublesome member he said Oliver. "Mmm... He might be the most troublesome but... He takes care of the other members well."

He produces the group's songs, and often co-writes music with Harr

He is very shy with people he doesn't know very well

He gets very competitive when they play games, and if they can choose partners he will normally choose Jonah who is just as competitive, so that he can win

All the members agree that he is the best listener and they can go to him if they have any problems

He is good friends with Bang Chan from Stray Kids

Currently shares a dorm with Fenrir and Jonah

Stage name: Blanc Real name: Blanc Lapin Position: Lead Rapper, Lead Vocalist Nationality: Chinese

He is known as the mother of the group 

He is also known as the gentleman of the group by the fans 

He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, his Korean is actually a lot better than he gives himself credit for

He is known for his signature deep voiced raps

Actually has a really good singing voice which surprised a lot of fans when he first sung an a song

He trained for 4 years before debut

He is closest with Kyle and Oliver. Kyle approached him first as he was able to speak Mandarin to him. "I was really happy when Kyle spoke to me in mandarin when I first joined. I was really nervous my Korean wouldn't be understandable."

Oliver makes fun of his Korean when he can though, and sometimes teaches him the wrong meanings to some words

He is the leader of the subunit with Kyle and Oliver

He is good friends with Jackson from GOT7 and Lucas from NCT

Currently shares a dorm with Oliver

He was forced by his friend to audition because he has such an amazing voice

He actually failed several auditions before he was accepted

He actually didn’t want to pursue any more auditions. “My friend, he kept pushing me to keep auditioning. He would help me with the critiques I got so I could better polish them for the next audition. If it wasn’t for him, I really wouldn’t be here.” 

When asked if he was still in contact with this friend he said he was “He’s self declared himself as my number one fan. (Laughs) He’s really crazy, I honestly feel like he would be better suited in an idol group. He has red hair and amazing visuals.”

He still gets very nervous performing in front of a crowd. He was once criticised that he was lacking in his dance and stage presence in the  comeback they were doing in an interview once. This made Jonah mad who is also the group’s other main vocals, "I would like to hear you sing as well as him then." Jonah got reprimanded by Lance soon after the interview

Learning choreography is hard for him, he is always the last to leave the dance studio, luckily for him Oliver always stays to help him out

It’s been a few years since you and Eunwoo had broken up. It would be an understatement to say that he wasn’t still affected by it. He was fine with the break up at first of course because he believed that you’re not the only one he’ll ever be able to love in his lifetime. 

However, he would occasionally be reminded of you and that only made him realize that he wasn’t over it yet; he wasn’t over you yet. He could only blame himself for all this because he was the one who broke up with you. And although he tried his best not to show it, slowly the other members started to get the feeling that something was wrong. 

Anyways, the boys were currently on tour and had a few days off in Seoul before they had to go to the next city so Eunwoo had decided to take a small walk around the city before they left. Although he knew the streets of Seoul like the back of his hand, this walk felt a bit gloomy; and it wasn’t just because of the weather. 

While on his walk, he stopped in front of a cafe. It wasn’t just any cafe. This cafe held a lot of your best memories together. It was actually where the two of you first met. 

During his time as a trainee, he would occasionally go out to the convenience store near the dorms to grab something to eat. He would always pass by your family’s cafe but never really thought about going in there as he didn’t really drink a lot of coffee at that time. 

One day, Eunwoo had stayed late to practice and couldn’t go back to the dorms with the rest of the guys so he had to go home alone. On his way to the dorms, it started raining. Eunwoo didn’t have an umbrella so he covered his head with his arms and ran to the nearest building to get away from the rain. He just so happened to stop in front of your cafe. 

“Y/N, make sure the front doors are locked. I’ll finish up here and we’ll go home,” your mom said from the kitchen as you did as you were told.

As you reached the front door, you saw a boy sitting on the step in front of the door. You opened the door and the boy jumped as the door bumped into his back. 

“Are you okay?” you asked as Eunwoo instantly stood up and turned around to face you. 

“Y-yeah, I’m just waiting for the rain to stop,” he said nervously as he didn’t expect anyone to still be there nor did he expect to see such a pretty girl. 

“The rain’s not gonna stop anytime soon. You should just come inside and get warmed up while you wait,” you said as Eunwoo was hesitant at first because he didn’t want to be a burden to you but before he could protest you had already dragged him inside. You then flipped the sign on the door and closed all the blinds before leading him to take a seat.

“I didn’t know if you wanted coffee or not so I just made some hot chocolate,” you said, placing the cup in front of him.

“Thank you,” Eunwoo said quietly as he picked up the cup and started drinking. 

“I’m Y/N by the way,” you said as you held your hand out.

He shook your hand and said, “I’m Dongmin.” 

“Well it’s nice to meet you, Dongmin. What were you doing out there in the rain? It’s pretty late as well.”

“I was on my way home from practice.”

“Practice? For what?” You asked as Eunwoo was hesitant to tell you at first but he did anyways as you wouldn’t stop asking until he told you. Eventually the two of you kept talking for a few more hours until the rain had stopped. 

“I should probably go now,” Eunwoo said as he stood up from his chair and headed toward the door, “Thank you for letting me stay here until the weather cleared up.”

“No problem, you said as you smiled at the boy and started cleaning up the table. 

As you were about to bring the dishes back to the kitchen, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see Eunwoo looking down while scratching the back of his neck.

“Yes? Did you want some hot chocolate to take home?” You asked as he instantly shook his head and hands.

“No, it’s fine,” Eunwoo said as you waited for him to continue, “I really want to pay you back for letting me stay here for a while. C-can I have your number?” 

His question took you by surprise as you had never had a boy ask for your number, let alone a cute one.

After a while of standing there in silence, you smiled and picked up a clean napkin & a pen from your apron, “Here. You don’t have to pay me back, I was just trying to be nice. But you can still message me if you ever want a friend to talk to.” 

“Thank you,” Eunwoo said quietly as he took the napkin from you and headed out the cafe. 

After that day, the two of you continued to text each other almost every day and it wasn’t until after your break from school that the two of you discovered that you both went to the same high school. It was weird that you two didn’t think of bringing it up before already. However, this new information made the two of you be able to become even closer. Of course you didn’t see him much at school because you were both in different grade levels, but you did occasionally pass each other in the halls or see each other before and after school. 

Eventually your friendship was brought to another level when you had discovered that Eunwoo liked you more than a friend. The two of you had a mutual friend, Minhyuk or Rocky as he is now called, and he was the one who had accidentally told you that Eunwoo had a crush on you. That information took you by surprise because you thought he was out of your league. 

Eunwoo was a boy that all the girls would find themselves the most attracted to. So you thought that because of that he would have never seen you as more than a friend. Also, the fact that he had many girls chasing after him lowered your confidence in getting him to see you as more than his friend. It would be an understatement to say that even during your relationship you had worried about him because you knew that no matter what he would always have a ton of girls trying to chase after him. 

Maybe it was the fear of ruining your friendship or the fear of getting hate if the two of you started dating, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to tell Eunwoo that you liked him too. Whenever the other guys would tease him about it, you would pretend you didn’t hear or didn’t already know what they were talking about. 

It stayed that way for a while. It had seemed that maybe Eunwoo was scared too, as he never tried to confront you about his feelings for you. When he heard from Rocky that another boy in your class had confessed his feelings to you, he gained some confidence. He didn’t know how to express his feelings, so he just texted you and asked what you thought about him. Instead of giving him an answer, you asked what he thought of you first. Then when he finally said that he liked you, you told him that you liked him too and the rest is history. 

The two of you dated for a while and everything was perfect until one day. 

Guess you could say it’s pretty ironic that on the day you two broke up, it was raining as well. It seems like the rain played a big role in your relationship. At that time, Eunwoo knew that when he debuted they would become very busy and he didn’t want you to get hurt waiting for him to have time for you. So he thought that if you two broke up now that it would save you from getting more hurt in the future. However, of course he didn’t know that he was hurting himself more than he was hurting you. 

“I don’t want to make promises that I might not be able to keep,” Eunwoo said as he tried to reach for your hand but you pulled it out of his reach. 

“Can you hear yourself? You’re the one who said that no matter what happens, you’ll do everything to make it work!” You were almost screaming at this point. “Just, leave. I don’t want to talk or see you ever again.”

As you turned away from him, you heard him say a soft “I’m sorry” before he walked the other way. That was the last time you two ever saw each other. At least, so you both thought.

Disclaimer: As usual, this is patterned more after K-pop, than J-pop.

Overview of the Group:

Another relatively chill group with reserved members who are so precious and must be protected at all costs.

While the group’s average height fall on the short side of the spectrum, they’re quite monstrous when it comes to stage presence that you don’t feel that they’re small, but instead are really, really big. Their fans (and even non-fans) have recognized their amazing stage presence when performing live.

This group generally gives off fun, playful, youthful vibes, and their MV’s are usually colorful and energetic, with 90s inspired music and aesthetic.

They are also insanely synchronized and even though each members have a specific designation, they’re all main dancer materials.

They had a reality show where they were taken to a secluded island and had to survive a full week there, winning challenges to get some supplies and eventually their ticket going home. This showcased their relationship as a group and their personalities as well and they definitely figured out who would survive being stranded on an island (hint: Noya would take living as a nomad on a stride and Yamagata would survive because he’s really practical.)

The Members

Yaku Morisuke – Yaku is the oldest member and the leader of the group and he serves as the main vocalist and overall mother hen. He’d also been training the longest, since he’d been in the agency for five years before he’d debuted, so he’s really thirsty for making his dreams come true. He used to do and post cover songs while playing the piano when he was a trainee. He’s good friends with other idols from other groups and sometimes posts about hanging out with them.

Seventeen’s Woozi is my inspiration for idol! Yaku.

Komi Haruki – Komi is one of the lead dancers of the group, he’s one of their variety representative because he’s really playful and outgoing, especially if you compare him to his more reserved juniors (with the exception of Noya). He’s the group’s mood maker and quite a savage snarker, but he’s a really good dancer and takes care of their acrobatic choreography. Has a vast knowledge of girl group songs and doesn’t hesitate to show people how good he is dancing them.

The best reference I have for idol! Komi is NCT’s Yuta.

Yamagata Hayato – Hayato is the youngest of the ‘hyung’ line and is in charge of rap. He’s mostly quiet and the father-figure, parallel to Yaku’s mother-figure, and likes to spoil his juniors, especially the ‘maknae’ line. Despite being one of the oldest, he’s actually new to the idol scene as he’s only been training for one and a half year before his debut with the group, but he’s hardworking and willing to learn from his impressive juniors.

My reference for idol! Hayato is Astro’s JinJin

Watari Shinji – Shinji serves as a lead vocal and dancer of the group. His first shot to stardom is when he joined a national star hunt when he was in middle school and did well during the contest, having reached the semi-finals, but failed to secure a spot as one of the grand finalists, losing from number of votes because people thought he was too young and should focus on his studies first. Nevertheless, he was offered a trainee contract by the agency, and had been training with them since then before his debut with the group.

Verivery’s Gyehyeon is my idol reference for Shinji.

Nishinoya Yuu – Noya is the group’s main dancer, rapper and face of the group as his claim to fame is being the representative of his agency for the second season of a reality show that aimed to produce a nation’s boy group, and having landed a spot as one of the final members of the group, hence making this his second debut with an official group. He has b-boy roots and actually skilled in parkour and skateboarding, the audience and fans love his wild child antics and his ridiculous but lowkey motivational one-liners that he used to wear as shirts he made popular during the show.

NCT’s Mark is my vision for idol! Noya.

Sakunami Kousuke – Kousuke is one half of the ‘maknae’ line and is a lead vocalist of the group. He’s also a skilled multi-instrumentalist who knows how to play piano, guitar, and even traditional musical instruments, had been training at it since he was a child seeing as his mother is part of a traditional music group and is actually famous for it. But he always wanted to become an idol and works very hard to prove and continuously improve himself. He sometimes compose songs for the group and it is always met with great enthusiasm and encouragement, especially from Yaku.

My reference for idol! Kousuke is Astro’s Sanha.

Shibayama Yuuki – The other half of the maknae line and official maknae of the group, is an outstanding all-rounder despite his young age, serving as lead dancer, sub-vocals, and sub-rapper and has earned the spot of the visual as he’s often focused on by the camera whenever they finish performing for live shows –the ending fairy of the group, so to speak. Has vast knowledge of different boy and girl group songs and dances and often gets pulled by Noya for impromptu dance-off along with Komi.

The best idol reference I have for idol! Yuuki is Verivery’s Kangmin.

The song that I think best represents the vibe and concept I see this group is going for is Verivery’s From Now

There’s also Verivery’s Ring Ring Ring, Seventeen’s Adore U and Mansae, NCT Dream’s We Go Up, Astro’s Baby.

I seriously think they can pull off EXO’s Growl and NCT 127’s Cherry Bomb, for some reason, you know, if they decide to experiment with concepts. Or even if they don’t, I think they would kill it.

KIM JISUNG – IDOL AU 

• It was another performance at Music Bank • You had just debuted with your group, this performance only being your 3rd stage performance • You were so nervous, your members tried calming you down • But they were just as anxious maybe worse waiting for their turn on stage • Warming up their voices and stretching

• You were drinking water getting your throat ready • You could dance decently and you also had some rap parts • But your main position was Vocal specifically Main Vocal • Being halfway done with your bottle of water you felt a hand on your shoulder • Turning around you found Daehwi behind you

• You gulped down the water that was held in your mouth but before you could greet him • “Don’t drink too much water before you go on stage!” he interrupted • “What happens if you need to go in the middle of your performance??!” • You looked at him in shock • Kinda wishing you had kept the water in your mouth to spit it at him • But you just replied with “Sorry I’m just nervous.. and didn’t realise” • You were watching Red Velvet perform, you looked up to them and admired them so much

• Daehwi laughed seeing your fingers shaking, telling you not to worry and actually calming you down unlike your team-mates • You and Daehwi had been friends for what feels like forever • Although you weren’t in the same company as him, you had friends introduce you to each other • Only being a couple of months older than you he felt like an older brother • Even after debuting he tried his best to help you through your trainee months

• The both of you chatted and joked around before your group was called to the stage • You quickly fixed your outfit and hair • Then walked behind your members filing towards the stage, grabbing your mic along the way • Daehwi left behind “Break a leg!” … “But not literally!”

• On stage you got into your starting positions • Yet again feeling a sense of fear • You were terrified but as the music played all that fear washed away • The group performed to the best of your abilities

• A piece of your outfit was a gift Daehwi had given you • When he heard you were to debut he gave you a small ring • It was covered in little diamonds • Of course they weren’t real tho but it was still beautiful • It fit on the index finger on your right hand • With every performance you did your best, your passion shining through with every move • You danced soo passionately that your ring had slid off and landed on the side of the stage • You didn’t feel it slip off too immersed in your singing

• Once your group had performed your intro and debut song you bowed to the crowd • And scrambled your way off stage the fear rushing back • Even with your fans still screaming and cheering loudly

• Backstage you were greeted by TRCNG • They were ready to perform Utopia • Earlier you were captivated by their dance moves in Wolf Baby • But now they wore different outfits and you were entranced • They looked mature and very handsome

• In TRCNG you were also friends with a fellow ’01 liner, Hyunwoo • When you passed him you wished him luck VERY enthusiastically • A daydreaming Jisung behind him jumped as you greeted Hyunwoo • You both laughed at him and continued back to your journey • For you it was too the changing rooms • For TRCNG it was the stage

• As Jisung came onto stage he heard the cheering of fans • But when he got to his position, something glimmering on the ground caught his eye • He stretched forward from his position and picked up the ring quickly • The second he grasped the ring he was determined to find the owner

• Jihun saw he was distracted and nudged him to get back in position, seconds before their performance started • You watched backstage on a little monitor with your other members • All of you relieved now that your performance went well • And that you were praised by Daehwi and other idols you looked up too for years

• You had been watching Hyunwoo from the start • But then Kangmin caught your attention with his voice • They were all so talented, you respected them all • But the second Jisung began rapping you were mesmerized by him • You admired him in a way different to how you saw the others

• Their stage ended and Jisung dashed to find the owner of the ring • The other members watched him rush off very confused • They returned to the changing rooms but Hayoung and Hyunwoo followed Jisung • They were bother curious to what he was up too and wanted to go for a little adventure

• The 3 boys stopped in front of a random dressing room, a couple doors down from their own • Astro were the owners • Sanha was the one to open the door when Jisung knocked • Jinjin, Mj & Rocky could be heard laughing and joking towards the back of the room

• Although being slightly distracted by the other members, Jisung explained to Sanha about the ring • Hyunwoo and Hayoung finally understanding what Jisung was doing • Eunwoo also came to the door to see if it was familiar, after yelling at the other members to be quiet • They were no help though

• After going along the halls asking various male groups, Stray Kids, SF9, NCT Dream, IN2IT and MYTEEN.. • They had no luck • Hayoung concluded saying “We’ve asked all the boy groups, this could only mean it’s from a girl group!” • Hyunwoo nodded as Jisung blushed, he wanted to find the owner guessing it had been from a girl from the start… but now he became very embarrassed

• With this Hayoung dragged Jisung to the first girl group dressing room they found with Hyunwoo following behind • But still no luck after asking Red Velvet, DIA, (G)idle, Momoland etc.. • Twice being the last group they visited • The girls commented on how adorable it was, like a prince charming trying to find his Cinderella • But they couldn’t help with the identity of the owner, only saying that it looked familiar

• After visiting Twice they bumped into Daehwi. • Literally bumped into him • Jisung was getting nervous and embarrassed again after their Twice interaction • He was whining saying they should just leave it with the staff • Yet again Hayoung dragged him around the corner, where they crashed into Daehwi • Thankfully the coffee Daehwi had bought for his members didn’t spill on any of them • But it did spill onto the floor

• Both parties apologised helping the staff clean up their mess • Hyunwoo offering to pay for more coffee • But Daehwi declined saying it was alright • Before they went their own ways Jisung used their accident as an opportunity to ask about the ring

• The second Daehwi saw it he recognised it • Instead of telling him where you were he started asking Jisung some questions • Like “What kind of music do you like?” to “What would you do on a 1st date?” • At first he was going to ask about weddings but thought that it was a little too early for that.

• Jisung was too distracted answering Daehwi’s questions to notice that Daehwi had guided them towards a changing room door • Your group name in capital letters pasted onto the sign stuck to the door

• With the last questions asked, Daehwi hummed and nodded to his answer • Saying “well that’s the door to your future..” • Confused and slightly scared by the last statement, Jisung hesitantly raised his fist to knock on the door

• In that moment someone had opened the door • To the 3 boys surprise a girl with light brown hair cut into a bob, hazel eyes, slightly taller than Jisung standing in front of them • She greeted them introducing herself

• Jisung felt a sense of disappointment • To be truthful, he did fantasize about finding his soulmate with this ring • His head felt heavy only staring at the floor now

• After Soohyun had introduced herself she saw Daehwi behind a plant making crazy hand gestures to her • Hyunwoo then spoke up nudging Jisung • He looked up clearly intimidated by the girl who stood in front of him. • Jisung held the ring up not able to say anything

• Soohyun was distracted by Daehwi • But when she saw the ring she realised what Daehwi was trying to explain straight away • She jumped excitedly calling your name • She screamed that a boy wanted to talk too, which sparked curiosity in your other members

• Just hearing your name Jisung butterflies grew in his stomach • But not wanting to be disappointed again he tried to push them back down • Confused and tired still not realising you had lost your ring, you laid on the sofa in the room • You got up and walked to the door, grumbling, wondering who was looking for you

• Once you had gotten to your leader Soohyun, she pushed you right in front of Jisung • Earning a glare from you, but a somewhat shocked face from Jisung • And to set the mood your group’s Maknae, Minjee turns up the volume of the monitor • Golden Child had started to perform “I’m Falling”

• You felt the heat rush to your cheeks • Jisung was just staring at you • You could hear the members giggling and teasing behind you • You thought you could hear the sound of a heart beating • Not sure if it was yours or Jisung’s though

• Hyunwoo broke the awkwardness between you and Jisung • “Hey What’s up Y/N?” He smiled and you returned the gesture • He wiped his hand over Jisung’s face, but Jisung didn’t respond • “uuuuh.. since Jisung isn’t gonna say it.. He found a ring on stage and we’re looking for the owner”

• You looked down at your right hand • Realisation finally hit not only you but Hyunwoo too • “Omg I knew it looked familiar! It’s the ring you wore since debut!” he screamed • Daehwi finally came out of his hiding spot • “Hey! I gave it to you as a present for debuting and now you go away and lose it!” • You apologised to Daehwi not having an excuse for why you lost it

• Awkward silence fell.. • You looked towards the ground flustered at the situation • While the others turned to Jisung to say something

• “CAW CAW CAW” • You heard, Seungmin and Felix were approaching with Changbin who had been making the crow sounds • Jisung snapped out of his daze • Finally handing you your ring saying “here you go..” • He turned around as quickly as possible trying to run away

• Daehwi caught him before he could leave • The Stray Kids members finally reaching your group • “Okay lets try that again” Daehwi took the ring from you and gave it back to Jisung whispering to him “romantically this time”

• Jisung took a deep breath and held his hand with your ring out towards you. • “ Yah are you proposing??” Felix exclaimed • He looked at his other members and shook them excitedly • Felix and the others watched the next few minutes suspensefuly • Like it was some sort of drama and Felix looked like he was going to burst out fangirling

Because he is the son of a very powerful and well known mafia leader of Balgeundal (I really hope it translated properly), the strongest and most famous mafia around

But one thing you should know, is that his father if a huge softy

Moonbin’s mother passed away not long after his sister’s birth

For the most part, his sister stayed with his grandparents but somehow the two of them never grew apart

Bin stayed with his father, learning to fight and become a good leader

At twelve years old, father brought him and four highest ranked member of the mafia to a meeting with men in suits

Bin didn’t understand what it was for and completely paid no attention

Unbeknownst to him, they were agents from a highly ranked spy agency and their unit was in charge of keeping tabs on them.

“If you don’t do more good deeds and keep up with your quota within your territory we will act.”

“You should also know, there rumors that the smaller organizations are trying to make pacts with each other... there’s a high chance Balgeundal will be in danger in a few years.”

His father managed to bring the idea of being kind and helpful to all of the members and with everyone’s help they managed to keep up to their “goodness” quota

As much as they also prepared for what was warned, they didn’t expect how many they would actually face.

By the time Bin turned 14, their group’s number had diminished in half and a third of their territory was taken over.

In order to keep his family safe, his father ordered Bin to stay indoors at all time and they never visited his sister either for fear the smaller organizations would try to target his children.

A few months after he turned 14, his father called Bin to meet with him

When he went into his father’s office, the same two men from two years ago were also there.

One leaned against the dark colored wall and the other sat in one of the two chairs in front of his father’s desk.

Bin cautiously sat down in the other chair.

The man in the chair next to Bin looked to his father

“Are you sure about this? You know what we do for a living. We can’t guarantee anything.”

Bin looked to his father in utter confusion

“Yes, I’m absolutely sure. He’ll be much safer with you than he would with me. He’ll be able to make friends in the agency and most of all, he’ll be able to see his sister more so than he can now.”

Safer with them?

He’s going with these absolute strangers?

Yes. He is but of course not without a fight.

“Dad, why?!? I don’t even know these people! I’d rather stay with you! I can protect you and sis! You told me I’d be the next leader and I can be just that.”

His father gave him a tight squeeze and a smile before letting in some of the remaining members of the group, some of which held bags containing Bin’s belongings.

Bin held back his tears as each member present gave him a pat on the back as he walked out the doors with two complete strangers

When he got to Fantagio he was surprised by how big the agency actually was.

He was put into a dorm with a bunk bed which he detested but once he saw all the snacks and food in the kitchen he didn’t complain.

One month later he was given a roommate who he became very close with

While he was a trainee, he often visited his sister who was growing up to become a beautiful and strong woman.

He often brought his roommate with him and he could’ve sworn his roommate had a crush on his sister but he always denied it

It seems the smaller organizations have stopped attacking them but Balgeundal was no longer as powerful as it was before

A/N: As I said in my last post, in light of everything that has happened, I felt that I could help bring a little joy back. Even though it might be a bit shorter, I hope it helps a little. you had grown up loving music

you loved how music could make you feel any emotion, how they could tell stories and held you connect to others

so naturally, you had begged your parents to let you audition to be part of a label

after a bit of convincing, your parents finally agreed to let you go and audition

you managed to get signed to Fantagio, and you began your life as a trainee

days were long and stressful, but you were motivated to do well

one day during practice, you and some of the other members of the group you would eventually debut in got onto the topic of soulmates

you had always felt that they had existed, especially now with the emergence of soulmate markers, or whatever they were called

some of the other members were still a bit iffy on the subject, so you kept your thoughts to yourself for now

some time had passed, and you were told that your group was getting even closer to debuting

in order to promote your group, your manager had come up with the idea of doing a collab stage with another group from the company

your group agreed, and began to learn your part for the stage

after learning your group’s solo choreography, it was time to learn the group part

you all still had no idea who you were working with, so you were nervous and jittery, hoping that you would not make a fool of yourself in front of them

you and your group were waiting in the empty practice room, waiting for the other group to arrive

all of you were goofing around to random songs to pass the time

you and some of your members were dancing wildly to ‘Crazy Sexy Cool’ when Astro decided to walk in

you stopped dead in your tracks, realizing that Astro had just caught your group being memes to their song

you couldn’t help but feel your face heat up with embarrassment as you looked to the floor, kicking your feet

everyone introduced themselves, and the choreographer came in soon after to start practice

as you were walking to your starting spot, you accidentally ran in to one of the boys, Sanha he is very hard to miss how did this happen

as the two of you bumped into each other, you felt like your entire body was being shocked, like one of those lie detectors that you had seen

you and Sanha squealed out in pain in perfect unison as the shock pulsed

everyone rushed over to the two of you, confused as to what just happened

the shock slowly began to fade, and you were finally able to speak normally again

“I was walking to my spot when I accidentally ran in to him. When I did, it felt like I was being shocked” you explained to the others

“how is this possible? I felt that too?” Sanha spoke up

“do you think...you guys might be soulmates?” one of your members asked

“I don’t know. Don’t soulmates usually have some kind of visual marker?” one of the boys, Eunwoo replied

“not always, sometimes its just a thing that happens” your member replied

you and Sanha kept quiet as your two groups began to debate over soulmate markers

and your choreographer stood in the corner by the speakers, just trying to get practice started rip choreographer

“hey, you know what, we should have them shake hands, see if the shock is still there. Then we’ll maybe know if they are really soulmates,” one of your other members suggested

everyone else agreed including the choreographer because all he wanted to do was teach you the dance

you and Sanha sighed, knowing you were not getting out of this any time soon

after a few muttered complaints and smacks from his group, Sanha finally stretched out his hand to meet yours

as soon as your hands touched, you felt the same shock wave running through your arm

the two of you broke apart, once again squealing at the sensation

there was complete silence in the room

until the boys burst out into playful teasing cheers, along with your group members

you swore you heard MJ yell that his baby was all grown up, but you were being smothered by your own group

after you all had gotten the excitement out of your system, you were finally able to rehearse for a bit

because the two of you were closest and soulmates, you and Sanha were partnered together for the collab part of the stage

every time the two of you had to touch in some way, you felt the same sharp sting of your soulmate marker

but the more you rehearsed, the less painful it became, and you two were able to get through practice without any damaging issues

when you all were given a break by the choreographer, you and Sanha sat by each other mainly because your groups forced you to

“so...we’re soulmates...” you started awkwardly

he just nodded, feeling the same awkward pressure that you were

you both could hear light snickers and teases coming from your group members

eventually, this led to Sanha taking off his shoe and chucking it across the room at the group because you know he would

the teasing died down just a bit after Jinjin scolded him, and the two of you were back where you started

“what do we do now?” you asked

“I dunno. What do we do? When does the shock go away?” he asked in return

“I dunno. I guess we have to wait and see”

the two of you sat in silence, just chuckling awkwardly because it was the only thing you could think of doing

the choreographer called you all back from break, and the two of you stood to walk back over to your spots

“we’ll figure this out together, I promise” you whispered to him as you walked back

the dance practice continued without a hitch

and you noticed that the more time you and your soulmate spent together, the less the shock began to sting

now, it was more of a static feeling, like goosebumps

though the shock was fading, the sparks in your heart would not any time soon
