Jennie Kim x Female Reader
Synopsis: A blind date with global K-pop star Jennie Kim leads to an unexpected, magical connection—one kiss turning a surreal night into the beginning of something unforgettable.
Word Count:4.8K

You've always been one to pride yourself on your ability to keep calm under pressure. It's one of the many reasons you were able to succeed as an actress—calm, collected, composed. You could step onto any set, deliver any line, and face any high-stakes scene with the assurance that you would own the moment.
But tonight? Tonight, all of that composure is nowhere to be found.
Instead, you find yourself sitting at a candlelit table in one of LA's trendiest restaurants, staring blankly at the flickering flame as your nerves take over. There's an awkward tension buzzing inside of you, a mix of excitement and dread, and the more you try to suppress it, the more it builds, twisting your stomach into knots.
A blind date. That's what you've agreed to.
Your friends, Simi and Haze, had convinced you it was time to put yourself out there again. "You've been working too much," Simi had said, waving a hand dismissively when you tried to protest. "You never make time for fun."
"I have fun," you'd replied, though even you didn't believe it. The truth was, ever since your acting career had taken off, your personal life had taken a backseat. Sure, there had been a few flings here and there—brief, fleeting, but nothing serious. You were so busy traveling, attending press events, living on set for months on end, that the idea of getting to know someone felt... daunting. It was easier to focus on your work, to disappear into the roles you played on screen.
"You're going on this date, no excuses," Haze had chimed in, backing her twin up with a mischievous grin. "Trust us, Y/N. It's going to be amazing."
So here you are, nerves thrumming beneath your skin as you wait for your date to arrive, hoping against hope that tonight won't be a total disaster.
"You're going to love her," Simi had teased when she dropped you off. "Just trust me."
That's what worries you most. Simi and Haze are notorious for pulling pranks and dragging you into chaotic situations. You could only imagine what kind of person they'd chosen to set you up with.
The seconds tick by, each one stretching into what feels like an eternity. You glance around the restaurant, hoping the low light hides the anxious look on your face. It's a cozy spot, not overly fancy but still high-end enough to make you feel like you're underdressed, even though you'd spent a good hour fretting over what to wear. You settled on something simple—a sleek, black jumpsuit with a delicate silver necklace. Elegant but not over the top. Casual, yet sophisticated.
At least, you hope it's sophisticated.
Just as you're about to pull out your phone and distract yourself from the nerves that are gnawing at you, the door swings open, and you freeze.
Because standing in the doorway, casually glancing around the room with an air of confidence that only comes with fame, is none other than Jennie Kim.
Yes, that Jennie Kim.
Your breath catches in your throat.
No. No, this can't be right.
Your mind races, trying to make sense of what you're seeing. Jennie Kim, the global K-pop superstar, is not supposed to be your blind date tonight. This has to be some sort of mistake. Maybe she's just here for dinner with someone else. Maybe you've been set up at the wrong table, and any moment now, someone completely different will show up.
But as Jennie's gaze sweeps the room, it lands on you. Her eyes widen just slightly in recognition, and before you can even begin to process what's happening, she's making her way toward your table, a soft, knowing smile curving her lips.
Nope. This is real.
Your brain struggles to catch up with the situation as Jennie reaches your table, effortlessly slipping into the seat across from you like she belongs there.
"Hi," she says, her voice smooth and confident, like this is the most natural thing in the world. "You must be Y/N."
Your mouth opens, but no sound comes out. You're too stunned to respond, your thoughts still scrambling to understand how this could possibly be happening. Jennie Kim? Your blind date? How? Why?
Jennie tilts her head slightly, her smile turning playful as she notices your stunned expression. "Simi and Haze didn't tell you, did they?"
You blink, finally finding your voice, though it comes out a little shaky. "N-no. They, uh, left out a few details."
Jennie chuckles softly, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "They have a habit of doing that. I should've known they'd surprise you."
You manage a weak smile, though your heart is still racing. "I guess they thought it'd be funny to leave me in the dark."
"Well, I hope you're not too disappointed," Jennie says, her smile turning a little more tentative, almost as if she's unsure of herself for a moment. "I know this is... probably not what you expected."
Disappointed? How could you be disappointed? You're sitting across from one of the most famous women in the world. You've followed her career, admired her from afar, but you never in your wildest dreams thought you'd be in this situation. Yet here she is, sitting across from you, looking just as human, just as vulnerable as anyone else.
"No, not disappointed," you say quickly, shaking your head. "Just... surprised."
Jennie seems to relax at that, her shoulders dropping slightly as she leans back in her chair. "Good. I was hoping this wouldn't be too awkward."
You let out a soft laugh, some of the tension in your body easing as you meet her gaze. "Honestly, I think I'm the one making it awkward. I just wasn't expecting... well, *you*."
Jennie grins at that, her eyes twinkling with humor. "I get that a lot."
You smile, feeling the ice between you two beginning to thaw. There's a moment of silence, but it's not uncomfortable—more like the calm after the initial storm of nerves. You take a deep breath, finally letting yourself settle into the moment.
This is happening. You're on a date with Jennie Kim. Might as well make the best of it.
"So," you say, trying to steer the conversation into safer waters. "How do you know Simi and Haze?"
Jennie's smile brightens at the mention of the twins. "We've been friends for a few years now. I met them through mutual friends in the fashion world. We just clicked right away."
"That sounds about right," you reply, your lips quirking into a fond smile as you think of your two chaotic friends. "They're great at making friends."
Jennie nods, her expression softening. "They are. They've been like family to me, honestly. Whenever I'm in LA, they always take care of me."
You can hear the genuine affection in Jennie's voice, and it strikes you just how grounded she seems, despite the larger-than-life persona the world knows her for. There's something so... normal about the way she talks about her friendships, the way she carries herself. It's disarming, in the best possible way.
"Well, they certainly took care of me by setting this up," you say, a little smile tugging at the corner of your lips. "I mean, I wasn't sure about the whole blind date thing, but... this is turning out better than I expected."
Jennie laughs, her eyes crinkling at the edges. "I'll take that as a compliment."
"It is," you reply, feeling a little bolder now that the initial shock is wearing off. "I just... I never thought I'd be sitting across from Jennie Kim on a blind date. It's kind of surreal."
Jennie's smile softens, her gaze flickering down to the table for a moment before she looks back at you. "I get that. It's kind of surreal for me too, sometimes. But, you know, at the end of the day, I'm just a person. I like meeting new people, just like anyone else."
Her honesty catches you off guard, and you find yourself smiling. "I guess that's true. But still... you're Jennie."
Jennie grins, leaning forward slightly, her voice dropping into a playful tone. "And you're Y/N. I've heard a lot about you, you know."
Your eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "You have?"
Jennie nods, her smile turning a little more secretive. "Simi and Haze are big fans of your work. They're always talking about how talented you are."
Your cheeks flush at the unexpected compliment, and you find yourself momentarily speechless. You hadn't expected Jennie to know anything about you beyond the basics, let alone that your friends had been talking you up to her.
"Well, I hope I live up to the hype," you manage to say, trying to play it cool even though your heart is doing somersaults in your chest.
Jennie's gaze softens as she looks at you, and there's something almost... warm in her eyes, something that makes your pulse quicken in a way that has nothing to do with nerves. "I'm sure you will."
For a moment, the two of you just sit there, gazing at each other across the table, and you can't help but feel like something's shifted. It's subtle, but it's there—a spark of connection that wasn't there before.
You're not sure how long the silence stretches between you, but it's comfortable, warm even, and for the first time since Jennie walked through the door, you find yourself relaxing fully into the moment. Her smile, soft yet mischievous, lingers, and the air around you feels lighter, as if the world outside the restaurant has momentarily faded away.
"So," Jennie says, breaking the silence with a teasing tilt to her voice. "Tell me, Y/N, what's it like being a rising star in Hollywood? Simi and Haze made it sound like you're the next big thing."
You let out a small laugh, shaking your head. "I wouldn't say that. I've been lucky with some good roles, but the whole 'rising star' thing? That feels a little exaggerated."
Jennie arches an eyebrow, resting her chin on her hand as she leans in, clearly intrigued. "Don't be modest. I saw you in that series everyone's talking about—what was it called again?"
You blink, surprised. "You watched that?"
"Of course," Jennie replies with a smirk. "You were incredible. I mean, I wasn't exactly expecting it, but you really pulled me in. The emotion, the way you carry yourself on screen—it's impressive."
You stare at her for a second, caught off guard by how genuine her praise sounds. It's one thing to hear compliments from fans or even critics, but coming from Jennie Kim, someone who understands the pressures of performing on a global stage, it hits differently.
"Thank you," you say, and despite your attempt to stay cool, you can feel the heat creeping up your neck. "That means a lot coming from you. I guess I've just been really focused on my work lately, trying to make the most of the opportunities I've been given."
Jennie nods, her eyes reflecting understanding. "I get that. It's hard to find balance when you're so driven by what you love, right? There's always something else to achieve, something more to prove."
You nod, feeling a deep resonance with her words. "Exactly. Sometimes it feels like there's this constant pressure to be 'on' all the time, like you have to keep pushing or you'll lose momentum."
Jennie's expression softens, and she leans back in her chair, her eyes thoughtful. "That's one of the hardest parts for me too. Being in the public eye, there's this expectation to always be perfect. But no one can live up to that, not really. It's exhausting."
Her words hit you harder than you expect. It's easy to forget that someone like Jennie, with her perfect image and worldwide fame, might feel the same way you do—caught between passion and pressure, driven yet sometimes drained. There's a vulnerability in her voice that makes her feel more real, more grounded than the polished idol the world knows her as.
You decide to follow her lead, dropping your own guard just a little. "Yeah, I can relate to that. It's like, no matter what you do, there's always this feeling that you have to do more. And on the days when it gets to be too much, it's hard to take a step back without feeling like you're letting people down."
Jennie nods slowly, her gaze locked with yours. "Exactly. It's like... sometimes I wish I could just turn it all off, you know? Take a break from being 'Jennie' and just... be."
You can't help but smile at that. "I'm pretty sure you've earned the right to take a break."
Jennie grins, her eyes twinkling again. "Maybe. But then Simi and Haze would probably drag me into something else."
You both laugh, and the tension that had lingered at the beginning of the night dissipates entirely. The conversation starts to flow naturally, easily, like you've known each other far longer than the hour you've spent together. You talk about your shared love for travel, the challenges of maintaining privacy in the entertainment world, and the tiny moments of joy that help keep you both grounded amidst the chaos of your careers.
As you chat, Jennie becomes more animated, her laughter spilling out freely as she shares funny anecdotes from her time as a trainee and stories about her bandmates. You find yourself relaxing more with every passing minute, captivated not just by her beauty—though it's hard not to be—but by the way she listens, really listens, and how she speaks with such genuine interest.
At one point, she leans forward conspiratorially, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Okay, so you have to tell me... worst audition story."
You groan dramatically, burying your face in your hands. "Oh no, you're going to make me relive my trauma?"
Jennie laughs, a full, bright sound that makes your heart do a funny little flip. "Come on! I bet it's not as bad as you think."
You sigh, knowing you can't back out now. "Alright, fine. So, this was a few years ago when I was still trying to break into the industry. I got called in for this small role in an indie film—nothing big, but I was excited because it was one of my first real auditions."
Jennie nods, her eyes wide with anticipation, clearly enjoying where this is going.
"I walk into the audition room, ready to give it my all," you continue, gesturing for effect. "And I'm halfway through this really emotional monologue, right? Tears in my eyes, pouring my heart out. I'm thinking, 'This is it, I'm nailing it.' And then... I notice the casting director is on his phone."
Jennie gasps dramatically, her hand flying to her mouth. "No way."
"Way," you say, grinning at her reaction. "I froze. Completely forgot my lines. And the guy didn't even notice because he was too busy scrolling through Instagram."
Jennie bursts out laughing, shaking her head in disbelief. "That's awful! I'm so sorry, but that's hilarious."
You can't help but laugh too, even though it had been a mortifying experience at the time. "Yeah, it wasn't funny back then, but now I can laugh about it."
Jennie wipes a tear from her eye, still giggling. "Well, I'm sure you showed them after that. Look at you now."
You shrug playfully. "I'd like to think so."
The conversation continues well into the night, and before you know it, you're both finishing dessert—a shared chocolate lava cake that Jennie insisted you try. There's a contentment between you now, a warmth that feels... easy. Natural. Like this is exactly where you're supposed to be, sitting across from her, trading stories and smiles.

As the evening winds down, you find yourself not wanting it to end. You've enjoyed every moment with Jennie, from the initial nerves to the laughter and everything in between. She's more than just a superstar—she's funny, smart, kind, and down-to-earth in ways you never would've expected.
Jennie looks up from her plate, catching your eye, and there's something in her gaze that makes your heart skip a beat. It's soft, almost shy, and it takes you by surprise because up until now, she's been so confident, so self-assured. But in this moment, she seems a little... uncertain.
"I had a really good time tonight, Y/N," she says quietly, her voice sincere. "I didn't know what to expect, but... this has been nice. Really nice."
You smile, your heart swelling at her words. "I had a great time too. Honestly, I'm glad Simi and Haze dragged me into this."
Jennie laughs softly, nodding. "Yeah, they're good at that."
For a moment, neither of you speaks, the air between you charged with something unspoken. It's not awkward, but there's a tension there—a kind of anticipation that hangs in the space between you.
And then, without really thinking, you say, "Do you want to take a walk? It's still early, and I'm not ready for the night to end just yet."
Jennie looks up, surprised, but then her expression softens into a smile. "I'd like that."
You both stand up from the table, and as you exit the restaurant together, stepping out into the cool night air, you can't help but feel a flutter of excitement in your chest. The streets are quieter now, the city settling into a calm lull, and the moon hangs low in the sky, casting a soft glow over everything.
Jennie walks beside you, her hands tucked into the pockets of her coat, and for a few moments, neither of you speaks. It's a comfortable silence, though, and you're content to just be in her presence, enjoying the quiet rhythm of your footsteps on the pavement.
After a while, Jennie glances over at you, her lips curving into a small, playful smile. "So... what do you usually do after a date?"
The question catches you off guard, and you feel a blush creeping up your neck. "Uh, I don't know. I don't go on a lot of dates, to be honest."
Jennie laughs softly, her gaze flicking up to the stars. "Yeah, me neither."
There's a pause, and then she adds, "But if I did, I think I'd want to end it on a high note. Something memorable."
You turn to look at her, intrigued. "Like what?"
Jennie stops walking for a moment, her eyes meeting yours with a spark of mischief. "Something like this."
Before you can Before you can fully process what's happening, Jennie steps closer, closing the distance between you in one smooth, deliberate motion. The soft glow of the streetlights casts a gentle light on her face, and for a split second, time seems to slow. Her eyes flick down to your lips and back up to meet your gaze, silently asking a question.
Your heart pounds in your chest as you feel the tension between you build, an electric current that hums in the air. It's not rushed or forced—it feels like the natural culmination of everything that's happened tonight. Every laugh, every shared story, every glance has led to this moment. And before you even have a chance to overthink it, you find yourself nodding ever so slightly, giving her the answer she was waiting for.
Jennie smiles, a barely-there curve of her lips, before she closes the final gap between you. Her lips press softly against yours, and it's like the world falls away, leaving just the two of you in this bubble of quiet intimacy. The kiss is gentle at first, almost hesitant, as if she's testing the waters, but it's enough to send a warm thrill coursing through you.
You respond instinctively, leaning in just a little more, your hand finding its way to her arm as you deepen the kiss ever so slightly. Jennie's hand comes up to cradle your cheek, her touch soft and reassuring, and in that moment, everything feels right. There's no pressure, no expectations—just the sweetness of this unexpected moment, the soft brush of her lips against yours.
When Jennie finally pulls back, it's slow and unhurried, her forehead resting against yours for a brief moment before she steps back slightly, her eyes still half-closed as if savoring the moment. You both stand there, breathing softly, the cool night air swirling around you, but neither of you says anything at first. There's no need for words right now.
Jennie's eyes flutter open, and when she looks at you, there's a soft glow in her expression—a quiet joy that mirrors what you're feeling. "That," she whispers, her voice barely above a breath, "felt like a high note."
The warmth of Jennie's lips still lingers as she steps back, her breath mingling with yours in the cool night air. The kiss was soft, tender—unexpected in all the best ways. For a moment, neither of you speaks, the silence not awkward but charged, as if you're both savoring what just happened.
Jennie looks at you with a quiet smile, her eyes glowing beneath the streetlights, her hand still resting lightly on your arm. "That was..." she trails off, her voice soft and full of emotion she doesn't seem to have the words for.
You grin, feeling giddy, your heart still pounding from the kiss. "Yeah... that was something."
Jennie laughs, a light, carefree sound that fills the quiet street. She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, looking almost bashful for the first time tonight. "I'm glad Simi and Haze set this up. I didn't expect to have such a good time."
"Same," you reply, your voice coming out a little breathless. "Honestly, this whole thing has been kind of surreal."
Jennie tilts her head, her gaze softening. "Surreal can be good, though. Sometimes you just have to go with it." Her lips quirk up into a smile, and you feel a rush of warmth spread through you.
Before you can respond, Jennie glances down the street, her expression shifting slightly. "My manager should be here any minute," she says, her tone almost apologetic. "Duty calls, unfortunately."
Your stomach dips a little, not quite ready for the night to end, but you nod, understanding. She's Jennie Kim, after all—idol, global sensation. She doesn't get to slip away unnoticed like the rest of the world.
Jennie seems to sense your hesitation, and she reaches out, her fingers brushing yours for just a second longer than necessary. "But," she says, her voice lowering conspiratorially, "this doesn't have to be goodbye forever, you know."
Your heart skips a beat at her words. "Oh?"
Jennie leans in slightly, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "I think we should do this again. Soon."
Your breath catches in your throat, and all you can manage is a wide-eyed nod. "I'd really like that."
Jennie's smile widens, and just then, a sleek black car pulls up to the curb, the back door opening as her manager steps out. Jennie glances at the car, then back at you, her eyes lingering on yours for a beat longer than expected.
"Well," she says with a playful sigh, "I guess this is where I make my dramatic exit."
You chuckle, trying to keep the moment light, though your pulse quickens as you realize it's really happening—she's leaving. But before you can get too caught up in that thought, Jennie does something that makes your heart nearly stop.
She blows you a kiss. It's casual, light, but there's something about the way she does it—her eyes sparkling with mischief, her lips curling up just so—that makes it feel intimate, as if the two of you are sharing a private joke that no one else in the world could understand.
"Don't forget me," she says, her tone playful, but there's an underlying sincerity in her voice that catches you off guard.
You laugh, shaking your head as your heart does a little flip. "Trust me, I couldn't if I tried."
With one last smile, Jennie gives you a little wave before turning and slipping into the backseat of the car. The door closes behind her with a soft click, and you watch, rooted to the spot, as the car pulls away from the curb and disappears down the street.
For a moment, you just stand there, blinking in the quiet night, trying to process what just happened. Then, all at once, the excitement hits you like a tidal wave.
"Oh my God," you mutter under your breath, your hands coming up to cover your face as a wide grin breaks across your lips. "Oh my God."
You can't help it—you start bouncing on your toes, your whole body buzzing with an energy you can't contain. The cool night air feels electric against your skin, and before you even realize what you're doing, you're literally jumping up and down in the middle of the sidewalk like some giddy schoolgirl.
Did you just kiss Jennie Kim? Yes. Yes, you did.
You let out a breathless laugh, your heart pounding in your chest as you pull out your phone, immediately dialing Simi. The line rings once, then twice, before she picks up, her voice full of curiosity.
"Hey, Y/N! How'd it go? Are you still alive, or do I need to come scrape you off the floor?"
You can hardly get the words out, your voice spilling over with excitement. "Simi. I just... I just kissed Jennie Kim."
There's a brief pause on the other end of the line, and then—
"WHAT?"
You can practically hear the shock and excitement in Simi's voice, and it only makes you giggle harder, the joy bubbling up inside of you like champagne.
"I'm not joking!" you say, your voice full of breathless disbelief. "We kissed! Right there on the sidewalk, just now! And it was... amazing. Oh my God, Simi, she's so... she's perfect."
Simi lets out a loud, gleeful squeal, and you have to pull the phone away from your ear for a second as her excitement blasts through the speaker. "I TOLD YOU!" she shrieks, her voice barely containing her joy. "I told you it would be amazing! Oh my God, Y/N, I can't believe this! Haze is going to freak out when I tell her."
You're still grinning like a fool, your heart racing as you try to piece together everything that's just happened. "She blew me a kiss as she left," you add, unable to keep the giggles out of your voice. "Like, a literal kiss in the air. Who even does that?"
"Jennie Kim, that's who!" Simi shouts through the phone, her voice full of pride. "Oh my God, I knew she'd like you. I knew it. You're going to be the next power couple, I swear!"
Your face heats up at the thought, but you can't deny the thrill that rushes through you at her words. You bite your lip, trying to keep from getting too carried away, but the way Jennie had looked at you, the softness in her smile, the kiss—it all felt so real, so full of potential.
"Simi," you say, still catching your breath from both the excitement and the kiss, "I don't even know how to process this. I mean, I went into this thinking it was going to be awkward and weird, but... she was so easy to talk to. Like, we really connected."
Simi lets out a dreamy sigh on the other end. "You're totally smitten, aren't you?"
You laugh, running a hand through your hair. "Maybe just a little."
"Good," Simi says, her voice full of satisfaction. "Because I think Jennie's smitten too."
You feel your heart skip at the thought, remembering the way Jennie had smiled at you, the way she'd leaned in for that kiss. You can't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, Simi is right.
"Well," you say with a grin, "I guess we'll see."
Simi giggles, clearly as thrilled as you are. "I'm so proud of you, Y/N. Seriously. You deserve this."
You can't stop smiling, your excitement and nerves still buzzing under your skin as you stand on the sidewalk, the city quiet around you. "Thanks, Simi. Really. This was... honestly, one of the best nights I've had in a long time."
"And it's only the beginning," Simi says, her voice full of promise. "I can feel it."
You hang up the phone, still grinning from ear to ear, and for a moment, you just stand there, staring up at the sky. The stars are twinkling above you, the city sounds distant and far away, and all you can think about is Jennie—her smile, her kiss, her soft laughter.
You don't know where this is going, but for the first time in a long time, you feel like something special is just beginning. And you can't wait to see what happens next.

Blackpink reaction:
Their girlfriend calling them 'Wife'
(I didn't revised this, so ..sorry for any typos)
Jisoo:
- You guys had headed off to some cozy coffee shop that had like a mini library there, you guys walked inside feeling the warmth and the comfortable smell of coffee. You told her that you were going to order it so she could just look around.
- “So I would like to have a hot choco and lemon cake, my wife will have a coffee and strawberry cake.”
- Oh boy! She turned so fast to look at you that she was certain that she broke her neck, YOU CALLED HER WHAT? Her heart was hammering in her chest right now.
- Since your arms were linked you literally brought her to your table. She was still looking at you with wide eyes, but the spark was visible there.
- “What?” You asked, touching your face to see if something was on it. Jisoo couldn't help the big beautiful smile that appeared on her face alongside the blush too.
- “So...I'm your wife now?” This time she had a teasing smirk on her face and you were the one blushing, “W-well...eventually...I hope.” You manage to get out through your embarrassment.
- Jisoo's smile only became more brightly, and soon after you guys were in a comfortable conversation while enjoying you guys order.
- Jisoo couldn't deny that the idea of having you calling her WIFE officially was tempting and she couldn't wait for this day to come, she's sure you're the one.
Jennie:
- You're a famous streamer, so it came as a surprise when you guys' relationship was announced online. Well, it actually was an accident.
- You had just opened your stream and were talking with your chat, when she came inside, till this moment everything was fine because you positioned your cam in a way that wouldn't catch her face.
- Your chat knew that you had a girlfriend, but you never “revealed” because she had asked for it, so chat always respected that even though they were curious to know who she is.
- You guys have a great relationship and dynamic, they even call you mama playfully, and after discovering about your girlfriend they call her mom.
- So like a routine of 2 mothers talking with their hundreds of children, she (Jennie) walks inside your studio with a bowl of fruit salad covered in condensed milk and puts it beside your mouse, going to give a head kiss when she froze in her place.
- “Thank you my wife!” You kissed her cheek and gave her your cutest puppy smile.
- “WHAT YOU JUST CALLED ME WOMAN?!?” (I just picture her so shocked and flustered while screaming this.) She screamed while hitting your arm out of embarrassment.
- She stopped, frozen in place while looking at you like a deer caught in the headlights, she hoped your chat wouldn't recognise her voice.
- It's good to say that they did recognise her voice and her lips, that came to view after she screamed at you.
- ‘WAIT! Y/N GIRL IS JENNIE???’
‘LUCKY BITCH!’
‘ARIANA WHAT YOU DOING HERE???’
- It's also good to say that this small moment was eternalized in a clip and everyone was aware of you guys' relationship.
- You pushed Jennie to sit on your lap as there was no need to hide anymore. “Yes guys, this is my beautiful and amazing wife, I hope you guys can respect us and be happy too.” You squeezed her hand trying to comfort her.
- “Hello guys!” Jennie said shyly and hid her face in her hands right after, and that's how you guys end up playing some games and answering some questions about your relationship.
- Jennie smiled while looking at you, she knew that you guys would have to go through some stupid people, because bitch! is Jennie that we are talking about, people hate on her as a hobby, but with you next to her makes her feel more safe.
- And yes! Wedding bells are ringing in her mind already.
Rosé:
- It happened on the Oscar red carpet, you as a new rising actress in Hollywood was nominated for one of the statuette.
- You of course invited your lovely girlfriend as your plus one, and a spoiler! You guys were the talk of the moment, THE RISING ACTRESS AND THE WORLDWIDE KPOP STAR TOGETHER BABY!
- So right now here you guys were posing for the photos, you were Dressed in a simple all black suit with a corset and some jewelry, your hair was free and wild with your gorgeous curls, and Rosé was dressed in a elegant backless black dress, she black gloves on and her hair was slightly curly.
- Soon after you were being called for an interview, Rosé gave a peck and settled herself with some of you guys' staff not far from you, she was able to hear you perfectly fine, so imagine her face getting red like a tomato and her eyes widened after hearing you calling her wife.
- The guy in the interview you had asked who you had bought as your plus one and you said, “My lovely wife, Rosé, she has been by my side since day one. She was the light that I needed on some harsh nights, so I couldn't not bring her as my plus one.”
- Stop it!! You're going to make her cry, Rosé felt like her heart was about to explode with the amount of love that she has for you and this feeling keeps growing day by day.
- You had finished up the interview and headed to where she was, “It's time to get inside baby- NO! It's W I F E! Now come on, an Oscar is waiting for you, my wife.”
- I don't even need to say that she's gonna marry you…
Lisa:
- You had been scrolling through tiktok for a long time now, you were alone and bored, Lisa was practicing with the girls and you were left alone in your guys apartment, okay, you had your children with you.
- You found an interesting video of a compilation of girls calling their boyfriend's husband and recorded their reaction, so you thought ‘Why not do this with your Lali? Besides, you were missing her so it would be a win-win situation.
- You put your shoe and coat on, made sure that everything was fine, locked the door and got inside your car, driving off to grab some coffee and snacks for her and the girls.
- Fast forward and you were right in front of their dance room door knocking on it, seeing Jisoo opening it for you.
- “Y/n? What are you doing here?” the older woman asked you, holding the bags with their coffees and snacks. “Oh! I'm here to deliver you guys this.” You pointed to the bag, “and also because I miss my wife, aka, Lalisa.” You said walking inside the room after Jisoo made space for you to enter.
- There you saw a smiling duck, your girlfriend Lisa, she had heard your voice and yes, she heard you calling her wife, and that's why you guys almost hit the ground after she decided to jump on you out of nowhere.
- The girls only laughed and snickered at your guys cute moment and decided to sit a little bit far away from you guys to give y'all some privacy.
- Miss Manoban was giggling and kissing you everywhere, gosh she was smitten by you!
- “Can you call me wife again?” She asked you with those big doe eyes, giving you a hard time to say no.
- “Hi wife!” You with a smile on your face as she was squealing like a teenager, can't blame her, she's just so enamored by that just the thought of this happening one day gives her so many butterflies.

Typa Girl | Jennie Kim
Summary: You're the type of girl who runs away after a one night stand, but can Jennie make you change your mind?
Genre: FWB Jennie, suggestive, smutty
Word Count: 0.5k

Jennie was fast asleep.
She was completely naked - the duvet bunched around her waist, exposing her smooth, toned back. Her long dark hair was ruffled from your fingers twisting in it last night.
The butterfly tattoo on the curve over her lower back peaked out from beneath the duvet. You resisted the urge to press your lips to it.
It was almost 6AM – which meant it was time to go. Sex was fun, but that meet-the-parents-move-in-together-shit, that was not for you.
Except Jennie wasn't like the other girls you had dated. She was sincere and savage and not very funny, but it didn't matter because she still made you laugh.
Not to mention, you finished twice last night, almost three times (so, so close).
And there was her perfect body, with her delicious curves and manicured nails that dug into your skin in the most pleasurable way…
Pull yourself together, Y/n… you thought. You’re no sappy romantic.
You were creeping out of bed - when you heard a rustle.
Jennie.
"Come back to bed," she mumbled, still half-asleep.
Jennie had just one puffy eye slightly open. Usually she was icy and untouchable, but right now, with her messy hair and slightly red cheeks, she was adorable.
You felt a pull in your chest you'd never felt before. Something inside you was craving her warm touch, her plump lips, her hands round your waist.
At the same time, you felt a twinge of fear. You barely knew this girl. If you allowed yourself to trust her, she could break your heart into a million pieces...
Taking a shaky breath, you climbed back into bed beside Jennie. You could take this one day at a time - not thinking about the future.
Jennie wrapped her arms around you and nuzzled into your neck. Slowly, you felt your muscles relaxing as you melted into her touch.
"I don't... normally do this," you whispered, cheeks warming.
Jennie pressed her lips to your skin. "Shh, sleep, baby."
Wrapped up in Jennie’s warmth, let your eyelids fall shut.
(Maybe you could get used to this.)

BLACKPINK Reactions : You Deal With Racism
request : Question, can you do a post about a black reader dating a blackpink member and then dealing with racism? I’m black and never seen it done so it would make me happy! i was very nervous when i saw this, because i don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or to get anything wrong and offend more people, so i hope that i did the request and the community as a whole justice. i would like to stress and say that while i am filipino, while i have experienced microaggressions, i have been blessed enough to not have experienced outright racism...that i can remember at least. i hope i do the ideas justice though and to those who have to stand for these actions, you are brave souls indeed. blackpink x black!reader disclaimer/s : racial slurs and aggressive acts (verbal and physical), oh and cursing. read with a level head.
Kim Jisoo
When Jisoo began dating you, she entered the relationship with a sort of colorblind mindset. It didn't matter to her what color of skin you had, she just liked you and found your energy electric.
It was never an issue to her, until you came home one night in a rage.
She scrolled through her timeline, laughing softly at viral memes of her member over the course of the tour when you entered the house. Jumping when the door slammed against it's frame as you stormed in. Tears in your eyes as you pulled your jacket off of your body.
Instantly, Jisoo stared at you with a concerned expression. She allowed you to calm down as you paced in front of her, thoughts clouded with rage. "I just can't believe that in this century, this point in time people still look at me with such..."
You're unable to continue your statement, only blundering into a groan of frustration. Jisoo was rather confused, before taking your hands in hers, the contrast between your hands only fueling your frustration further.
You sit beside her before letting your tears run down your cheeks, feeling helpless as she runs her hands atop your head lovingly. "What happened...?" She asks, her clumsy English accent making you smile.
You sniffle softly before pulling your hands, wiping your tears away, "Just some idiots...they thought I couldn't understand them and they said quote-on-quote, be careful with your bags kids, that gangster might steal them from you." You explain quickly, not wanting to dwell on it any further, just wanting to find comfort in your soft girlfriend.
However, your beloved girlfriend simply tilts her head to the side, offering you a small smile. On a normal day, the hint of innocence in her smile would often comfort you, bringing you a sense of calm and reminding you just why you fell for her in the first place.
Now though, it struck you as insensitive and all together it added onto your frustration. Just when you thought she would say nothing more and you could brush it aside, Jisoo says, "Just ignore them."
It wasn't anything offensive. In fact it was good advice. But after the day you had, after how much you've pent up with living in South Korea and having to deal with it each day of your life, ignoring those kinds of comments felt impossible.
You pull your hands away from Jisoo, her bright expression melting into one of concern again. You laugh dryly before getting up, walking towards your shared bedroom, "You...Soo I don't think you get it."
"No, no, I do, I swear," She tries to backtrack before she shifts to face you better. Innocence smeared all over her face. "I get a lot of hate as an idol, but I suppose the best thing to do is to just turn the other cheek."
You laugh again, tears of frustration pricking your eyes. Your hands rushing over your face over and over again in attempts to get your thoughts together. "I will always be discriminated based solely on how my skin looks. It isn't the same." You try to explain calmly in spite of the fire kindling in the pit of your stomach.
Still she looks up at you confused.
You sigh deeply before walking back towards your shared bedroom, "It doesn't matter, Jisoo. It's fine." You say quickly before slowly closing the door behind you. Leaving Jisoo confused and guilty.
As soon as she hears the door click, she's on the phone with Jennie, asking for advice. Wanting to understand you and what you go through better without hurting you further.
"I'm sorry, you said what to her?" Jennie berated her as she looked at your closed door with a bitter taste in her mouth, regretting everything she'd said and done in the span of a five minute conversation.
Kim Jennie
Getting into a very public relationship was already a scandal to Jennie's fans, but dating someone like you was almost unheard of for her fans who saw her as an angel and had assumptions of you. Both of you were very aware of the potential consequences.
But in that moment it was all or nothing. And you were both all in.
To Jennie, the freedom of being able to hold her girlfriend's hand while they were on a date was the most liberating and amazing feeling she could ever have. Your hands intertwined with one another as you told her about your day, waiting for a waiter to approach.
"Ah miss Kim! It's a pleasure to serve you again." The waiter greets politely, his smile gleaming. The rapper offers him a kind smile before she notices that he looks over at you. Expression not as polished, more restrained. Merely offering you an acknowledging nod but she chalked it up to her being a regular and more familiar to the man.
"Hon, what do you feel like having?" Jennie asks you, her hand momentarily breaking from yours to pluck the menu from in front of her. You turn to her but before you can say anything the waiter butts in, "We have a selection of chicken, normally we wouldn't fry anything but if that's what your..." There's a pause as he eyes you up and down, "...companion would like miss Kim we can surely find a way."
You fall silent and laugh nervously while Jennie glares at him, resentment boiling under her skin, "N-No thank you, I'd actually like-" Again he cuts you off, "Or perhaps she would like baked potatoes, Miss Kim? We can have them serve it extra spicy for your companion."
"I can speak for my-"
"However I am sad to say there are no more watermelons available, miss Kim-"
Finally, Jennie has enough and cuts the waiter off with a kind but venomous smile. "First of all, she can speak for herself. If you had anything valuable to say, you can say it directly to her. She is not an object or dare I say what you think she is...the help." Jennie says begrudgingly, shooting you an apologetic look.
She watches the waiter gulp nervously, "Second, the stereotypes you've stuck to her based on what she looks like are not only offensive but outlandishly wrong. And lastly, saying she's my girlfriend. Not a companion but my girlfriend."
You've heard it a million times before but it still makes your insides melt when she says that. A sense of pride fills you as you watch the rapper stand up for you so fiercely. "Now, I suggest you go back and come back when you're ready to actually listen and tend to your patrons." Jennie finishes before the man bows, muttering a soft apology before he runs back to the kitchen.
You look over at your flushed with rage girlfriend before she looks over at you rather sheepishly. "I"m sorry if I caused a scene." You smile and shake your head, leaning in to place a delicate kiss over her soft cheek.
"I've never seen you get so riled up, Jen." You pause to laugh softly, "Anger is almost a good color on you."
She pauses and leans into you, catching you off guard. Just a moment ago she was a warrior, ready to fight any battle for you. The armor quickly melts as her hand finds yours again. Her thumb brushes over your knuckles, making you lean in closer. Nose burrowing in her hair.
"I shouldn't have made a scene...It might have made you look even worse to the public...I can see the headline now. Jennie Kim's black girlfriend is a bad influence to her good girl nature." Her voice is fragile before you shake your head.
"You meant well, Jen. Just don't make it a every night thing." You whisper before leaving a light kiss on the crown of her head. In attempts to lighten the mood, you look down at the menu, "You know, that chicken sound about right now."
Jennie chuckles softly before shoving your chest gently, "Shut up Y/n, I know you don't like chicken."
After that, the night wasn't so bad. But Jennie definitely took note to not come to the restaurant again.
Park Chaeyoung / Rosé
From the moment you entered the limelight as Park Chaeyoung's girlfriend, you were under so much more fire than you usually were. Scrutinized for every little thing and it didn't help that you were a woman of color.
It was an uphill battle every day, working extra hard to prove that you were worthy of the Blink's angel on Earth. You couldn't afford to make a mistake or even be proud of your heritage.
Rosé saw the pain that caused you every day.
One day, being fed up with how restricted you had to be, she got you something that she thought you would have loved.
"Okay Rosie, my eyes are closed and I'm in the bedroom. What's this big surprise?" You ask, laughter bubbling up in your chest as you feel around, swatting the air excitedly. You hear your girlfriend giggle softly before excitedly screaming, "Open your eyes love!"
You open your eyes and see a set of matching outfits. You chuckle as you turn to Rosé who wore a proud smile. It was the one where her cheeks crumpled in and her eyes were crescents, it made your heart do all sorts of flips. "We're going to your favorite coffee shop, picking out some books, and playing chess in the park down the street! Everything you've been hinting at the past few weeks."
You blush and twirl on your own axis, "I didn't think you were listening."
She smiles before leaning forward, pressing her lips to yours. "Get dressed, my love. I'm going to hop in the shower." She pecks your lips again quickly, "I want to be looking my best for you."
You smile as Rosé skips happily to the bathroom. You walk over to the bed, a smile growing on your lips as you see just what she's done. She was truly a dream come true.
After preparing yourselves, you take a short walk to the coffee shop nearby. It was secluded enough that Rosé wouldn't be spotted and they made your favorite drink perfectly. Of course there was an odd stare here and there upon seeing you walk in, but you'd come so often that it had slowly stopped.
"Y/n! You're back!" The manager called out jovially before taking head of the register. "You make it sound like I wasn't here last week, Han." You joke before Rosé departs from you to grab a table.
You say your order and the older man nods, striking up conversation with a new staff member. He introduces you but you can see the distain in her eyes as she nods you off. Feeling uneasy you walk over to your girlfriend who chirps up when you walk towards her.
You force a shaky smile, being fully aware of how much of your skin was showing in the outfit Rosé chose, pulling it down every few seconds. She takes your hand in hers, a concerned pair of eyes baring into yours, "Home...?"
A fond smile finds its way onto your face. She only asked when she was worried if you felt comfortable or not and would act according to your answer. You shake your head as the manager serves you your drinks, offering you his apologies about his employee. The singer's eyes shoot back to you but you wave off the concern.
You think it will get better at the bookstore. For a moment, there's a sense of bliss as you and your girlfriend roam around, laughing at certain titles, and offering one another a few recommendations.
You notice the owner's daughter carefully watching you but there was no surprise to you there. It was something you'd grown used to over the years of living in South Korea but it wouldn't deter you from the day Rosé had planned.
You two walk out hand in hand after you checked out. You read the back to Rosé who was curious what you had picked up. "'...will Lucky be able to escape the regime forced onto her or will luck not be on her side this time...?' I don't know it sounded really cool when I picked it up."
She laughs before nodding along, "So...park or home, my love?"
You look up at her with a warm smile, "Rosie I'm fine, you don't need to worry about-"
"Hey! Stop!" Your words are cut off, you and Rosé turn around surprised at the angry young woman, practically gasping for air. Your girlfriend raises a curious brow while dread sets into your stomach. "You didn't pay for that!"
You open your mouth to explain when she shakes her head disappointed, "I watched you the whole time! Not once did you hand that to any staff member. I had a feeling when you walked in something would happen." She pries the book out of your hands and shoves your shoulder. Your eyes jot everywhere at once, panic filling you as a crowd begins to form. "How dare you try and steal from my father, you know your people have always-"
Rosé steps between the two of you with a piece of paper in her hands, "I paid for both books myself, you can see for yourself." The woman, recognizing the idol, lets her jaw hang open and eyes bulge to an alarming degree. Her hands tremble as she takes the receipt, reading it quickly before handing it back, offering the idol a low bow.
Without another word, Rosé wraps her arm around you and she guides you away from the now-dispersing scene. She taps your waist gently, before whispering, "Home?"
You nod, tears flooding your eyes, "Home."
She nods before quickly walking back to the safety of your shared apartment with her blood boiling. But she would get it all out later, in her own time. She knew that she needed to be strong for you, even for a moment.
Lalisa Manoban / Lisa
Lisa was absolutely bouncing off the walls to call you her girlfriend...that the most amazing, kind, intelligent, talented, and gorgeous being chose her. While you think you're the one who lucked out with her, she actively denied it.
In that spirit, she wanted to show you off constantly. In public appearances, you two were attached at the hip. You were always permitted backstage at the group's concerts. And most of all, once your relationship was made public, she bragged about her beloved girlfriend on social media.
It was innocent at first. Wanting Blinks to get a glimpse into her personal life, but then it became a whole PR thing for the company. Green lighting and excusing their actions by showing off that one of the company's aces, Lisa Manoban, was all about people of color so that excused all their actions.
However, that didn't stop Blinks who weren't on board to come after you and Lisa.
It was meant to be a romantic night, Lisa drew you a bath for the both of you when you got home, cooked you a nice hot meal, and played the romcom you watched for your first date.
It was a lovely evening. But it did come with a lot of preparation, so the moment the meet-cute for the couple in the movie rolled around your girlfriend was sound asleep on your shoulder. You smile fondly and see your phone light up.
A notification on Instagram.
You smile warmly as you see a post by Lisa. She had uploaded a time lapse of the bits of the evening that were appropriate and posted it for her fans to enjoy. You cringe to yourself as you see your surprised face when you see the meal she had prepared, but a loving smile grows from the sour face when you see the elation in her expression. Arms wide open for you to fall into.
By the end of the video, you've pulled Lisa closer to your body, gaining extra appreciation for your beloved. You see the likes and shares sky-rocket and feel the love from her fans.
But curiosity killed the cat. It was Lisa's number one rule about social media posts with you in them to not go through the comments. As an idol, she knew how toxic they could get. You scrolled through the text, it was sweet for the most part. Commenting how you were so happy with one another.
But those weren't the ones that stood out to you.
no one ever told me lisa got a pet gorilla 🤣
she's using lisa for clout, chick probably doesnt even shower probably, look how smelly she looks 🫥🫥🫥
🤮🤮🤮
@lalalalisa blink twice in your next story if you're being held hostage by this n-word (im sorry but im not writing the whole word)
They echo in your head and before you know it tears are streaming down your cheeks. The realization that you were probably in over your head. What was Lisa doing with someone like you anyway?
Feeling the dampness of your tears on her cheek, Lisa groggily lifts her head. Try as you may to hide it, she was wide awake when she saw the weepy look on your face. She's quick to brush the residuals away and her sleepy expression twinges into one of concern.
"Baby...baby...what happened? What-"
"I know you told me not to look at comments but I couldn't help it...and-and..." Your voice failed you and you fell into fits of sobs, unable to properly convey your emotions. Without another word, she takes you in her arms, brushing your hair back.
You calm down after a while, choking on air as you try to breath. Lisa patiently waits for you to be completely fine before she pulls away. She looks down at the bright screen and tosses the device to the side.
The dancer cups your cheeks, "I don't blame you, sometimes you want to know what they're going to say...so that when they say it again, it can't hurt you." She chuckles bitterly before continuing, "When I first came to Korea, I was the only trainee who wasn't Korean in the batch. They called me every name in the book, made fun of my accent, said that I was probably a transgender trying to pass as a woman."
You scowl before taking her free hand. "I'm sorry you had to go through that Lili..." A protective aura floating around you. Lisa shakes her head, whether its to say 'no' or to shake out the tears is a mystery to you. "People are shitty for no reason other than to feel superior to others."
She pauses, leaving a lingering kiss over your lips before pulling away, the pad of her thumb rubbing against your cheek lovingly. "But no matter what these people say, I love you. Despite everything people may think. I. Love. You."
You smile before nodding and pressing your forehead against hers, your grip on her hand tightening. "I'm lucky to have you, Lili."
"I'm even luckier, N/n."
The rest of the night was dedicated to you two talking about your experiences and feelings about them.
By morning, comments were disabled and a story defending you was posted. Suffice to say, Lisa made a personal account for just you and her friends.
i am so scared of posting this because sincerely i dont want to offend anyone but i do think it's important for media like this on a more informal platform to open up about how to and not to treat situations like this. i hope this got across what my anon wanted :"") and i hope you all enjoyed this one and i'll probably see you all tomorrow with a fluffier oneshot, im sorry this is how i returned to tumblr :"") - r

Welcome to my first angst reaction post (this is really shit ik)
Warning: yn is an asshole in basically all of these
blackpink x reader
Dispatch w/ Blackpink

Dispatch leaks your relationship with your partner, this is the aftermath.
Jisoo

You guys tried to stay together, you really did. But eventually it just got to be too much. At first when the relationship got leaked, Jisoo promised that she would try to protect you as much as she could from her fans. And she did, when you were with her. If anything, it seemed to strengthen your relationship, you learned to rely on each other even more. You were each other’s rock during this process.
However, it all came crashing down when fans began harassing you wherever you went, even if you weren’t with Jisoo. At first it was just a few stolen pictures, which was a massive invasion of your privacy. You and Jisoo hoped that, that would be it. You could handle stolen pictures and even the hate comments.
Eventually though, the sasaengs found where you lived, after they followed you home one day. Of course, you called the police and they ran away. This was your ending point though. You just couldn’t stay in a relationship with Jisoo, if it meant your literal safety would be in danger. The next time you see Jisoo, after the basic pleasantries, you both state at the same time, “we need to break up.” Her reasoning was management.
Jennie

Jennie would beat herself up about getting caught. And of course you would be there to comfort her. Her management wants her to breakup with you as soon as possible. However you ask her if she truly wants to breakup with you, shaking her head, you two decide to continue dating. Despite all the difficulties, the hate does die down pretty quickly. And you guys don’t go in public together, ever.
Which was fine with you, since you were a homebody anyways. Jennie would still get nervous from time to time, reading comments on vlive. You are always there to support her and tell her that you don’t care what other people think about your relationship.
You love her and she loves you, and that’s the way things were going to be, no matter what strangers said. Hearing this would make her feel better, however, usually afterwards you would still have to hold Jennie as she falls asleep.
Rosé

She would fight for you. Because who really cares what other people say about your relationship? Despite management (and millions of netizens) insisting that you guys end things. She still stayed by your side, she was just what you needed during this time. However, after your relationship got leaked, it did force you to realize just how different you and Rosé were.
And unfortunately that lead to the realization of, you have to end things. It was a long and painful argument, but eventually Rosé respected your decision. You left her apartment with tears running down both of your faces. Away from your light.
Rosé was absolutely heartbroken. She couldn’t believe that you had really broken up with her, sure you guys had your disagreements, but it seems like this problem was a little too big for both of you. Not knowing what else to do she wrote a song for you. When she releases it, it was a big hit not only because it’s Rosé but because it also confirmed your breakup. Unknowingly to her, your heart breaks every time you listen to it, but it’s still your most played song.
Lisa

She couldn’t believe it. It was her worst nightmare. You, her great love, were now getting hate because of her. She would constantly compliment and whisper sweet nothing to you. Of course, you assured it was alright, most of the comments were online and pretty easy to ignore.
Until, they weren’t, inevitably you guys went out together and you had to hear comments aloud about how you didn’t deserve her, how they were going to kill you, and other insults. Although you put on a brave face. It did get to be a lot. She didn’t want to lose you. Especially not over this. She loved you.
However when some sasaengs find your friends and family’s social medias and leave hate comments and death threats. You decide to call it off. Truth be told, the death threats scared you the most, you weren’t entirely sure if they were all fake. Lisa would cry, a lot, but she would understand.

morning sun (jennie kim/reader)
a/n: ceil learn how to finish drabbles challenge (impossible)
warnings/genre: fluff, cuddling, mentions of the public knowing about your relationship? gn reader and let me know if anything else should be tagged!

You and Jennie were curled up together in bed, enjoying the warmth of each other's embrace. The morning sun was filtering in through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room.
A yawn escaped your lips as Jennie placed her head between the crook of your neck, her arms wrapping around your waist. Her fingers ghosted your sides, lazily tracing shapes while internally complaining about having to leave your side for some schedules.
"Good morning," You murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"Morning," A replied, her voice still groggy. "What time is it?"
"Like…Six? When do you have to leave?” you asked, rolling over to stare at your phone and squinting at the sudden bright screen.
Jennie sighed, “we have time. let’s just order breakfast for delivery?” you nodded, as she giggled and reached up to peck your cheek, grabbing her own phone to go through the nuances of morning notifications.
Your hand trailed down her back, tracing shapes before finding itself in her hair, twisting and curling her strands. She didn’t want to get all sentimental this early, but she wanted to be here, cuddling with you all morning. She was already dreading aggressive press and the scrutiny of the public eye, complications involving your relationship. None of it mattered when she was in your arms and you were in her’s.
"I love you," She murmured, casually and quietly.
"I love you too," You replied, their voice soft and warm. "More than anything."
You laid there in silence for a few moments longer, just enjoying each other's company. The world outside could wait – for now, work didn’t matter, others didn’t matter, and you could just bask in the simple pleasure of love. You pressed a kiss to the top of her head, as you both relaxed furthered into the mattress, letting the sun hit your faces as you relished each other’s presence.

Running into You

Synopsis: You're just an ordinary person, but your life is about to take an extraordinary turn. Your friend Somi, a die-hard Blackpink fan, drags you to their concert. You stumble upon a quiet backstage area and bump into none other than Rosé, the main vocalist.
Word Count:6.9K (long one)

The afternoon sun filtered through the curtains of your living room, casting a soft, golden glow over the space. You were curled up on the couch with a book, trying to lose yourself in its pages, but your attention kept drifting. The words blurred together, the story losing its grip on you as your thoughts wandered.
Lately, everything seemed to have fallen into a predictable pattern, one that you couldn't quite break free from. Work, home, the occasional hangout with Somi, and then back to the routine. It wasn't that you were unhappy—just... stuck. There was a restlessness growing inside you, a need for something different, something that would shake up the monotony of your life.
"Why do you look like you're about to fall asleep?" Somi's voice cut through your reverie, pulling you back to the present. She was sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of the coffee table, her laptop open with several tabs displaying concert dates, fan forums, and YouTube videos.
You glanced up, startled by her sudden question. "I'm not about to fall asleep," you replied, closing the book with a sigh. "I'm just... not into this book, I guess."
Somi's eyes sparkled with that mischievous look she often had when she was up to something. "Maybe you need to do something more exciting tonight," she suggested, her voice light but full of energy.
You raised an eyebrow, curious but cautious. "Like what?"
"Like coming to a concert with me," she said, her grin widening as she leaned forward, clearly excited about whatever she had planned. "There's this band I've been dying to see live, and I've got an extra ticket. You should totally come with me!"
You frowned slightly, hesitating. "A concert? I don't know, Somi. You know I'm not really into crowds, and I don't even know who this band is."
Somi rolled her eyes, clearly having anticipated your reluctance. "Come on, it's Blackpink! Even if you're not familiar with them, I promise you'll have a good time. Their shows are legendary, and the energy is just insane. Plus, it's been forever since we did something fun together outside of this apartment."
"Blackpink?" you repeated, the name vaguely familiar, though you couldn't place it. You might have seen it online somewhere, but you couldn't recall ever listening to their music. "I don't know..."
Somi wasn't one to give up easily. She moved closer, her tone becoming more persuasive. "Please? It'll be a blast! And who knows, maybe you'll even meet someone interesting." She winked, the playful grin on her face impossible to resist.
You chuckled, leaning back against the couch as you played along. "Oh yeah? You think I'm going to find the love of my life at a concert?"
"Hey, it could happen!" Somi teased, nudging you with her foot. "I mean, you're single, ready to mingle, and you've been in a bit of a rut lately. What better place to shake things up?"
You rolled your eyes, but the smile tugging at your lips betrayed your amusement. "Right, because that's exactly how these things work."
Somi's grin only grew wider. "You never know! Besides, I've got a good feeling about this one. Who knows, maybe you'll even catch one of the members' eyes. There's this one, Rosé—I think you'd really like her."
"Rosé?" you repeated, trying to remember if you'd ever heard that name before. "Is she famous or something?"
Somi nodded eagerly. "Yup! She's the main vocalist, and she's absolutely gorgeous. I've always thought you two would be a perfect match."
You laughed, shaking your head in disbelief. "Now you're really dreaming. What would someone like her see in someone like me?"
"Don't sell yourself short," Somi said, her tone becoming more sincere. "You're smart, kind, and beautiful. Anyone would be lucky to be with you."
You smiled softly at her words, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. Somi always knew how to lift your spirits. "Thanks, Somi. But still, it's not exactly realistic, is it?"
"Maybe not," Somi admitted with a shrug. "But hey, at least come for the music and the experience. If nothing else, you'll get to see what all the hype is about."
You considered her words carefully. The prospect of something new, something different, was tempting. Maybe a night out was exactly what you needed to break the monotony.
"Alright," you finally said, giving in with a smile. "I'll go with you."
Somi's face lit up with excitement. "Yes! You won't regret it, I promise."
— — — —
The days leading up to the concert seemed to fly by, with Somi's enthusiasm never wavering. She tried to introduce you to Blackpink's music, playing their songs while you both worked around the apartment or during your commute together, but the details mostly flew over your head. The melodies were catchy, but with your busy schedule, you never really took the time to learn the names or faces behind the voices.
Each evening, after work or on lazy weekends, Somi would excitedly share a new song or music video, pointing out her favorite moments, but you only half-listened. It wasn't that you weren't interested; it was more that the music felt like background noise to everything else happening in your life. There was always something else to focus on—work deadlines, family obligations, and the usual demands of daily life.
But as the concert date approached, you couldn't help but notice a growing sense of anticipation within yourself. Maybe it was Somi's infectious excitement, or perhaps it was just the idea of doing something out of the ordinary, but you found yourself looking forward to the night more than you had initially expected.
The night of the concert arrived faster than you expected. As you and Somi got ready in your apartment, the excitement in the air was palpable. Somi was practically bouncing off the walls as she applied the finishing touches to her makeup.
"You look amazing," you said as you watched her in the mirror, genuinely impressed by her ability to transform her look for the occasion. Somi had gone all out, wearing a stylish outfit that perfectly captured the concert vibe—bold, chic, and a little edgy.
"Thanks! So do you," she replied, turning to give you a once-over. "See? I knew you'd get into the spirit of things."
You glanced at your reflection, feeling a bit more confident in your outfit. Somi had helped you pick out something that made you feel good—something that was still very much you but with a bit of flair. For the first time in a while, you actually felt excited about going out.
As you slipped into your jacket, you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. There was something different about you tonight—a spark that you hadn't seen in a long time. It wasn't just the outfit or the makeup; it was the idea of stepping out of your comfort zone, of embracing something new.
"Okay, let's go before I change my mind," you joked, grabbing your jacket as you headed for the door.
Somi laughed, linking her arm with yours as you left the apartment. "No backing out now! We've got a concert to catch, and who knows? Maybe you'll even run into Rosé.”
You rolled your eyes playfully. "Yeah, because that's totally going to happen."
The journey to the concert venue was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. Somi kept the conversation light, chatting about her favorite songs and how incredible the band was live. You listened with a smile, feeling more at ease with each passing minute, even if you couldn't quite keep track of all the band details she was throwing at you.
As you got closer to the venue, you could feel the energy around you intensifying. The streets were crowded with fans dressed in various shades of pink, holding signs and light sticks, all buzzing with anticipation. The atmosphere was infectious, and despite your earlier reservations, you could feel your own excitement starting to build.
"This is crazy," you muttered as you and Somi made your way through the throngs of people.
"Isn't it great?" Somi replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "This is what it's all about—the atmosphere, the anticipation, the music. It's going to be amazing."
The crowd outside the venue was massive, with fans buzzing with anticipation as they waited to get inside. The energy was contagious, and for the first time, you felt a genuine thrill of excitement.
As you approached the entrance, you could feel your nerves creeping in again. The noise, the crowd, the unfamiliarity of it all—it was a lot to take in. Somi must have sensed your apprehension because she gave your hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Hey, if it gets too much, just let me know, okay?" she said, her tone gentle. "We can take breaks, step outside if you need to. I want you to have a good time, not feel overwhelmed."
You nodded, grateful for her understanding. "Thanks, Somi. I appreciate it."
Once inside the venue, the atmosphere was electric. The stage was set up with massive screens and lights, and the anticipation in the air was almost tangible. You and Somi found a spot with a decent view, and as you settled in, you started to feel a bit more comfortable. But as the minutes ticked by, the noise and the crush of the crowd began to get to you.
The venue was buzzing with life, the energy palpable as fans eagerly awaited the start of the show. You glanced around, taking in the sight of people decked out in merchandise—T-shirts, hats, light sticks—all proudly displaying their love for Blackpink. It was a world you didn't fully understand yet, but there was something exhilarating about being a part of it.
Somi was in her element, chatting excitedly with a group of fans nearby who were just as hyped as she was. You tried to focus on the conversation, but the noise and the sheer volume of people were starting to feel overwhelming. The venue, which had felt so thrilling moments before, was now beginning to press in on you, the weight of the crowd a little too much.
You took a deep breath, trying to ground yourself. "I'm going to step outside for a bit, just to clear my head before the show starts," you told Somi, hoping she wouldn't mind.
She looked at you with concern but quickly nodded, understanding. "Sure thing," she said, giving you a thumbs up. "Just don't take too long! You don't want to miss a second of this."
You smiled, appreciating her concern, and started to make your way through the crowd. It took longer than you anticipated, weaving through the throngs of people all eagerly chatting and finding their spots. But eventually, you reached the exit and stepped outside, into the cool night air.
The contrast was immediate and stark. The noise of the venue was replaced by the quiet hum of the city at night, the air cool against your skin. You took a deep breath, savoring the stillness, the way the world seemed to slow down out here. It was a much-needed reprieve from the overwhelming energy inside.
You walked for a bit, letting the tension in your shoulders ease as you moved further away from the noise and the crowd. The streets around the venue were quieter, less chaotic than you expected. You turned a corner and found yourself in a small, dimly lit alleyway. It wasn't particularly scenic, but it was peaceful, and right now, that was exactly what you needed.
Leaning against the wall, you closed your eyes for a moment, letting the quiet wash over you. The city sounds were distant, muted—cars in the distance, the faint murmur of voices, the occasional breeze rustling the leaves of a nearby tree. It was a soothing backdrop, one that allowed your mind to slow down and process everything.
You hadn't realized how much you needed this, this moment of solitude. The excitement of the evening, while exhilarating, had also been draining. But here, in the stillness of the night, you could finally breathe, let go of the nerves that had been building up.
Your thoughts began to wander, unbidden, back to Somi's words earlier. About Rosé. You couldn't help but smile to yourself. It was a sweet thought—Somi's belief that you and a global superstar could somehow be a perfect match. It was unrealistic, sure, but it was nice to have someone believe in you like that, even if it was just in jest.
The idea of meeting someone like Rosé felt like a distant dream, something far removed from the life you knew. But in the quiet of the alley, with nothing but your thoughts for company, it didn't seem so far-fetched. You let yourself imagine it for a moment—what it would be like to meet someone who could see you, really see you, beyond the surface. Someone who could connect with you in a way that felt real and meaningful.
You shook your head, laughing softly to yourself. "Get a grip," you muttered under your breath, pushing off the wall. This was silly, getting lost in such thoughts. It was just a concert, just a night out. Nothing more, nothing less.
But as you began to make your way back toward the venue, something caught your eye. The door to a side entrance was slightly ajar, light spilling out into the alleyway. Curious, you hesitated, wondering if you should take a peek inside. It was probably just a maintenance entrance or something equally mundane, but the idea of stepping into a quieter part of the venue was appealing.
With a quick glance around, you gently pushed the door open and slipped inside. The hallway was dimly lit, the sound of the concert preparations muffled in the distance. It was a stark contrast to the chaos outside, a pocket of calm in the midst of the storm.
You wandered down the hallway, the cool air inside a welcome change from the warmth of the crowd. There was something almost surreal about the quiet here, like you'd stepped into a different world entirely. It was a world where the noise and chaos of the concert didn't exist, where you could just be, without any expectations or pressures.
As you rounded a corner, lost in thought, you collided with someone. The impact was gentle but unexpected, and you both stumbled slightly, caught off guard.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" you exclaimed, your hands coming up instinctively to steady the other person. "I wasn't paying attention, and—"
"It's okay," a soft voice interrupted, gentle and reassuring. "Really, no harm done."
You looked up, and your breath caught in your throat. The woman standing in front of you was stunning. She had long, blonde hair that cascaded over her shoulders, and her eyes sparkled with a warmth that immediately put you at ease. There was something ethereal about her, something that made the world around her seem to blur at the edges.
"Are you sure?" you asked, still flustered as you took a step back to give her some space. "I wasn't paying attention, and I—"
"I'm sure," she said, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I've been in your shoes before—lost in thought and bumping into random people. It happens."
You let out a small, relieved laugh. "Well, I'm still sorry. I don't usually run into people like that."
"It's no big deal," she replied, her tone soft and kind. "Like I said, it happens. You're not hurt, right?"
You shook your head, still a little stunned. "No, I'm fine. Just... a little embarrassed."
"Don't be," she said, her smile widening a fraction. "It's actually kind of nice, having a normal interaction for once."
You blinked, caught off guard by her words. "Nice?"
"Yeah," she said, her voice taking on a thoughtful tone. "It's not often I get to just... be, you know? Without all the noise and expectations."
You nodded slowly, trying to process what she was saying. There was something about her, something in the way she spoke, that made you feel like you were in on a secret, like she was sharing something with you that she didn't often share with others.
"So, are you here for the concert?" you asked, hoping to steer the conversation into safer territory.
She nodded, her smile returning. "Yeah, I'm here for the concert."
"Me too," you said, relaxing a little now that the conversation had found its footing. "Well, sort of. My friend dragged me along. She's a huge fan of this band, but I don't really know much about them."
She chuckled softly, the sound warm and comforting. "That's actually kind of nice. You get to experience it all for the first time, without any preconceived notions.”
"Yeah, I guess so," you agreed, though you still felt a little out of place. "It's just a little intimidating, you know? Everyone else seems to know so much about them, and I'm just here trying to figure it all out."
"That's the beauty of it," she said, her tone light but sincere. "You get to see everything with fresh eyes. It's a rare thing, and it makes the experience all the more special."
You found yourself smiling at her words, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. There was something about her that made you want to keep talking, to keep this conversation going, but you weren't sure what to say next. The silence between you was comfortable, though, filled with a sense of understanding that didn't require words.
"So, what do you think so far?" she asked after a moment, her eyes curious.
"About what?" you replied, a little caught off guard.
"About the whole experience," she clarified, her smile softening. "The concert, the music... everything."
You took a moment to think about it, trying to put your feelings into words. "It's... overwhelming," you admitted. "But in a good way, I think. I didn't expect to feel so much... energy."
She nodded, her expression thoughtful. "It can be a lot to take in, especially if you're not used to it. But that's what makes it so powerful, I think. It's this shared experience, this connection between everyone in the room, all feeling the same thing."
You looked at her, really looked at her, and for a moment, it felt like the world had narrowed down to just the two of you. There was something in her eyes, something deep and genuine, that made your heart skip a beat. You wanted to ask her more, to keep this connection going, but the words didn't come.
Finally, she broke the silence, her voice gentle. "I should probably get back. The show's going to start soon."
You nodded, though you felt a strange reluctance to let this moment end. "Yeah, I should too."
She smiled at you, a smile that seemed to hold a thousand unspoken words, and for a moment, you thought about asking her to stay, to talk a little longer. But before you could find the courage, she turned to leave.
"Maybe I'll see you around?" you found yourself saying, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
She paused, turning back to look at you, her eyes soft. "Maybe," she said, her voice holding a promise that made your heart flutter.
And then she was gone, disappearing down the hallway and leaving you standing there, wondering what had just happened. You felt like you'd just experienced something rare, something precious, but you weren't sure what to do with it.
You stood there for a moment longer, trying to collect your thoughts before heading back to the concert. As you made your way through the crowd to find Somi, your mind kept replaying the encounter, the way her eyes had seemed to see right through you, the way her smile had made you feel like you were the only person in the world.
When you finally found Somi, she was practically vibrating with excitement, her eyes wide as she talked to a group of fans. "There you are! You almost missed it!"
You forced a smile, trying to push the encounter out of your mind, at least for now. "Sorry, I got a little lost."
Somi waved it off, too excited to care. "No worries! Come on, the show's about to start!"
You followed her into the crowd, but your thoughts kept drifting back to the woman in the hallway. There was something about her that you couldn't shake, something that made you feel like you'd just missed out on something important.
As the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted into cheers, you tried to focus on the stage, on the music, on the experience that Somi had been so eager to share with you. But your mind kept drifting back to the woman in the hallway, to the way she had looked at you, like she had seen something in you that even you hadn't noticed.
And then the music started, and the stage lights came up, and you found yourself staring at the group on stage. The woman from the hallway was standing in the center, microphone in hand, her voice soaring over the crowd. Your breath caught in your throat as you realized who she was.
She was Rosé.
And she had been singing just for you.
— — — — —
You stood frozen, your eyes glued to the stage as Rosé sang. The realization of who she was—and who you had just been speaking to—sent a shockwave through you. Her voice was even more powerful in person, filling the entire venue with a warmth and intensity that made your heart race.
Next to you, Somi was cheering loudly, completely caught up in the performance. But you were still processing everything, your mind racing as you watched Rosé move effortlessly across the stage. She was captivating, her presence commanding every bit of attention from the audience, yet all you could think about was the conversation you'd had just minutes ago.
You hadn't recognized her. How could you have not recognized her?
The thought was both embarrassing and oddly exhilarating. You'd spoken to Rosé, not as a fan, not as someone who knew everything about her, but as yourself. And she had spoken to you, not as a celebrity, but as a person. The memory of her eyes meeting yours, the warmth in her voice—it all felt so surreal now.
As the performance continued, you found yourself unable to tear your gaze away from her. Every note she sang, every movement she made, seemed to resonate with you on a deeper level. It was like she was speaking directly to you through the music, and for a moment, the crowded venue and the thousands of fans faded away, leaving just the two of you.
But then the song ended, and the crowd erupted into applause, snapping you out of your reverie. You glanced at Somi, who was practically glowing with excitement, completely oblivious to the inner turmoil you were experiencing.
"This is amazing!" Somi shouted over the noise, grabbing your arm. "Aren't they incredible?"
"Yeah," you replied, your voice a little shaky. "They really are."
Somi didn't seem to notice your unease, too caught up in the next song as it started. But you couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted. Rosé was right there, on that stage, singing her heart out—and yet, all you could think about was the brief, fleeting connection you'd shared with her backstage.
As the concert went on, you tried to focus on the music, on the energy of the crowd, but your thoughts kept drifting back to her. You kept replaying your conversation in your head, analyzing every word, every look, trying to make sense of what had happened.
Had she recognized you? Did she know that you didn't realize who she was? Was that why she had seemed so intrigued by you?
The questions swirled in your mind, making it hard to focus on anything else. Even as the concert reached its peak, with the crowd singing along and the lights flashing in time with the music, you felt a strange sense of detachment, like you were watching everything from a distance.
It wasn't until the final song that you finally managed to pull yourself back into the moment. The music slowed, and the stage lights dimmed, casting the group in a soft, golden glow. Rosé stepped forward, her voice filling the venue with a hauntingly beautiful melody that sent chills down your spine.
You watched her, completely mesmerized. There was something raw and vulnerable in the way she sang, something that seemed to echo the conversation you'd had earlier. It was like she was laying herself bare for the world to see, and yet, somehow, it felt like she was singing just for you.
As the song came to an end, Rosé's eyes swept over the crowd, and for a brief, heart-stopping moment, they met yours. You held your breath, wondering if she recognized you, if she remembered the conversation you'd had. But then her gaze moved on, and the moment was over, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions that you couldn't quite untangle.
The concert ended with a final burst of energy, the crowd erupting into applause as the group took their bows. You clapped along with everyone else, but your mind was still elsewhere, lost in the whirlwind of thoughts and feelings that Rosé had stirred up.
As the lights came up and the crowd began to disperse, Somi turned to you, her face flushed with excitement. "That was incredible! I'm so glad you came with me!"
"Yeah, it was amazing," you agreed, though your voice lacked the enthusiasm that Somi's held.
She didn't seem to notice, still buzzing with the afterglow of the concert. "We should totally do this again sometime! I can't believe how good they were live!"
You nodded, forcing a smile. "Definitely."
But as you made your way out of the venue, your thoughts kept drifting back to Rosé. The concert was over, but the memory of your encounter with her lingered, leaving you with a sense of unfinished business, like there was something more to be said, something more to be done.
You couldn't shake the feeling that you'd missed an opportunity, that there was something important that had been left unsaid. And as you and Somi walked through the crowd, your mind raced with possibilities, wondering if you'd ever get the chance to speak to her again.
— — — — —
The ride home was a blur of neon lights and distant chatter. Somi was still gushing about the concert, replaying her favorite moments and showing you clips she'd captured on her phone. You tried to engage, to share in her excitement, but your mind was elsewhere, still stuck in that dimly lit hallway where you'd spoken to Rosé.
By the time you arrived back at your apartment, Somi had finally started to wind down. She flopped onto the couch with a satisfied sigh, scrolling through her phone for more Blackpink content.
"That was seriously one of the best nights ever," she said, glancing up at you with a grin. "Thanks for coming with me."
"I'm glad I did," you replied, and you meant it. Despite the overwhelming emotions, there was something about the night that felt... significant.
Somi yawned, clearly exhausted from all the excitement. "I think I'm going to crash," she said, standing up and stretching. "But we should totally talk about this tomorrow. I want to hear all your thoughts about the concert."
You nodded, watching as she headed to her room, leaving you alone with your thoughts. The apartment was quiet now, the only sound the faint hum of traffic outside. You sank onto the couch, finally allowing yourself to process everything that had happened.
Your mind kept drifting back to Rosé, to the way she had looked at you, the way her voice had sounded in that quiet hallway. There was something about the encounter that you couldn't shake, something that felt unfinished.
Without really thinking, you pulled out your phone and opened up a search engine, typing in "Rosé Blackpink" out of curiosity. As the search results popped up, you were greeted with countless images of her—performing on stage, attending events, posing for photoshoots. She looked just as stunning in the photos as she had in person, but there was something different about the woman you'd met.
In the photos, she was polished, poised, the image of a global superstar. But the Rosé you had spoken to in the hallway had been different—more relaxed,
more real. There had been a vulnerability in her eyes, a warmth in her smile, that you hadn't expected.
You found yourself scrolling through the images, searching for that same warmth, that same realness, but it wasn't there. In the photos, she was Rosé, the idol, the star, but in the hallway, she had just been... herself.
As you continued to scroll, you came across a video of the concert you had just attended. Curious, you clicked on it, watching as the camera panned over the crowd before zooming in on the stage. The energy of the concert was palpable, even through the screen, but your focus was solely on Rosé.
The video captured the final song, the one where Rosé had looked out into the crowd, her voice filled with emotion. You watched as she sang, her eyes sweeping over the audience, and for a moment, you could almost convince yourself that she was looking at you.
But as the video continued, you noticed something that made your heart skip a beat. Just before the song ended, Rosé glanced off to the side of the stage, her expression shifting subtly. It was a brief moment, barely noticeable, but it felt significant.
You replayed the video, watching that moment over and over, trying to decipher the meaning behind it. Was she looking for someone? Was she thinking about your conversation? Or was it just a trick of the camera, a coincidence that meant nothing?
The questions swirled in your mind, making it impossible to focus on anything else. You tried to push them away, telling yourself that it was just a chance encounter, that it didn't mean anything, but the doubts lingered.
Finally, you set your phone down, running a hand through your hair with a frustrated sigh. You needed to stop overthinking this. It had been a moment, a brief, fleeting moment, and nothing more.
But as you lay in bed that night, staring up at the ceiling, you couldn't help but wonder. What if it had been more? What if there was something deeper, something that you hadn't fully grasped?
The questions haunted you as you drifted off to sleep, leaving you with a strange sense of anticipation, like you were standing on the edge of something important, something life-changing, but you didn't know what it was.
— — — —
The next morning, you woke up feeling restless, the events of the previous night still fresh in your mind. Somi was already up, humming to herself as she made breakfast, but you couldn't bring yourself to join her. Instead, you grabbed your phone and headed out to the small balcony attached to your apartment, hoping the fresh air would help clear your head.
As you stood outside, your thoughts drifted back to the concert, to Rosé, and to the way she had looked at you. There was something about that moment, about the way she had spoken to you, that you couldn't shake. It felt like there was more to it, something left unsaid, something unfinished.
You stared out at the city, trying to piece together the puzzle of the night before. Why had Rosé taken the time to talk to you? Why had she seemed so different from the image you had of her—a global superstar with thousands of fans at her feet? The encounter felt significant, but you couldn't put your finger on why.
Somi's voice pulled you from your thoughts. "Hey, you okay out there?" she called from the kitchen.
"Yeah," you replied, though your voice lacked conviction. "Just thinking."
Somi appeared in the doorway, leaning against the frame as she looked at you with concern. "You've been quiet since last night. Did something happen?"
You hesitated, not sure how to explain what you were feeling. "It's nothing, really. Just... processing, I guess."
She gave you a knowing smile. "The concert was pretty intense, huh? I saw the way you were watching the stage. It's like you were in a trance."
You nodded, your thoughts drifting back to Rosé's performance, the way her voice had wrapped around you, pulling you into a world where only the two of you existed. "Yeah... something like that."
Somi grinned, pushing off the doorframe. "I knew you'd come around! I'll make a Blinks fan out of you yet."
You forced a laugh, trying to match her enthusiasm, but the unease lingered. There was something more to last night, something you couldn't quite grasp. And it was gnawing at you, refusing to let go.
After breakfast, you decided to take a walk to clear your head. You needed to get out, to think, to figure out what was bothering you so much. Somi offered to come with you, but you declined, telling her you needed some time alone.
The streets were quieter than usual, the weekend morning lulling the city into a slow start. You wandered aimlessly, your feet carrying you without direction, your mind replaying every detail of the night before. The way Rosé had looked at you, the way she had smiled—there was something there, something that made you feel seen in a way you hadn't expected.
As you turned a corner, your thoughts still tangled, you nearly bumped into someone coming from the opposite direction. You looked up, an apology ready on your lips, but the words died in your throat when you saw who it was.
It was Rosé.
She was standing right in front of you, dressed casually in jeans and a simple jacket, a baseball cap pulled low over her eyes. For a moment, neither of you moved, both caught off guard by the sudden encounter.
"Hi," she said, her voice soft, almost hesitant.
"Hi," you echoed, your heart pounding in your chest. You couldn't believe it—what were the chances?
Rosé looked around, as if checking to see if anyone was watching, then back at you, a small smile tugging at her lips. "I didn't expect to see you again so soon."
"Me neither," you replied, your mind racing to catch up with the situation. "Are you... are you following me?"
Her eyes widened in surprise, then she laughed, a sound so genuine and warm that it made your heart flutter. "No, not at all. I'm just... I don't know. I guess it's fate or something."
"Fate?" you repeated, the word hanging between you like a question that neither of you could answer.
She nodded, her smile fading into something more serious. "Yeah, maybe. Or maybe I just... I don't know, wanted to see you again."
Your breath caught in your throat. There was something in her eyes, something that made you feel like this moment was teetering on the edge of something bigger, something you couldn't quite grasp.
Before you could respond, she glanced around again, her expression shifting. "Listen, I know this might sound strange, but... would you mind walking with me for a bit? I'd like to talk, if that's okay."
You hesitated, still trying to wrap your mind around the fact that Rosé was standing in front of you, asking to spend more time together. "Sure," you finally managed to say, your voice barely above a whisper.
She smiled, a genuine smile that seemed to reach her eyes, and motioned for you to follow her. The two of you started walking, side by side, the city moving around you as if in a different world. Neither of you spoke at first, the silence between you comfortable, but charged with anticipation.
As you walked, Rosé glanced over at you, her expression contemplative. "You know, I don't get to do this often," she said quietly.
"Do what?" you asked, curious.
"Just... be myself," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability. "Away from the cameras, the expectations. It's nice to have a conversation without all the noise."
You nodded, feeling a deep sense of connection to her words. "I can imagine. It must be exhausting, always being in the spotlight."
"It is," she admitted, her eyes distant for a moment. "But last night... talking to you, it felt different. Like I could just be me."
There was a softness in her tone, something that made your heart ache with a strange mix of emotions. You wanted to say something, to tell her that you felt the same, but the words were stuck in your throat.
The two of you continued walking until you found yourselves in front of a small, cozy café tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. It was the kind of place that looked like it was straight out of a postcard, with ivy creeping up the walls and a charming little sign that swung gently in the breeze.
Rosé hesitated at the entrance, then turned to you with a smile. "Do you want to grab a coffee? My treat.”
"Sure," you replied, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
The café was warm and inviting, with the scent of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. Rosé led you to a table in the corner, away from the few other patrons, and the two of you sat down, the atmosphere between you comfortable, but still tinged with something unspoken.
As you both sipped your drinks, the conversation began to flow more easily. Rosé was surprisingly down-to-earth, sharing stories about her life, her travels, and the little things that made her happy. You found yourself opening up as well, sharing stories from your own life, laughing at shared experiences, and finding common ground in unexpected places.
The connection between you grew stronger with each passing moment, and for a while, it felt like the outside world didn't exist—just the two of you, talking and laughing over coffee.
But then, just as you were beginning to relax completely, Rosé's phone buzzed on the table. She glanced at it, her expression shifting slightly, but then she smiled at you and put the phone face down on the table, clearly not wanting to interrupt your time together.
"You're popular," you teased lightly, trying to keep the mood light.
Rosé chuckled, her eyes twinkling. "It's probably just work stuff. I try not to let it interfere when I'm enjoying myself."
"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," you said, feeling a warmth spread through you.
She looked at you, her gaze softening. "I really am. This is... nice. Just being able to sit and talk like this."
There was a moment of comfortable silence between you, and then Rosé's phone buzzed again. This time, she let out a small sigh and reached for it.
"Sorry, let me just check this quickly," she said, her tone apologetic.
"Of course," you replied, trying to ignore the slight pang of disappointment.
Rosé glanced at the screen, her eyes widening slightly as she read the message. A small smile tugged at her lips, and then she looked up at you, her expression somewhere between amused and mischievous.
"Everything okay?" you asked, curious about what had caused her reaction.
She nodded, biting her lip as if holding back a laugh. "Yeah, it's just... do you trust me?"
The question caught you off guard, but there was something in her tone, in the playful glint in her eyes, that made you smile. "I think so... why?"
She leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Because I just had a crazy idea, and I think it could be a lot of fun."
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued but wary. "What kind of crazy idea?"
Rosé grinned, her excitement almost contagious. "How do you feel about a little adventure? Something spontaneous?”
Your heart skipped a beat at the suggestion, the idea of doing something completely
out of the ordinary both thrilling and nerve-wracking. "What did you have in mind?"
She looked around the café, as if making sure no one was listening, then leaned in closer. "Well, I just got a text from one of the girls in my group. They're doing something kind of wild today, and they dared me to bring someone along. Someone... unexpected."
Your eyes widened in surprise. "You mean... you want me to come with you?"
"Yeah," she said, her smile widening. "If you're up for it. It's nothing dangerous, I promise. Just a little spontaneous fun."
You hesitated for a moment, your mind racing with possibilities. This was definitely not what you had expected when you woke up this morning, but the idea of spending more time with Rosé, of being part of whatever adventure she had in mind, was too tempting to resist.
"Okay," you said, feeling a rush of excitement. "I'm in."
Rosé's eyes lit up with excitement. "Great! Let's go before we change our minds."
As the two of you quickly finished your drinks and prepared to leave the café, your heart raced with anticipation. Whatever was about to happen, it was sure to be something you would never forget.

Spin that record, babe
A/N: Due to the fact that I don't have YT premium I keep getting flash-banged by Jennie's CK ad so here we are ;-;
Warnings: Alcohol
Word Count: 0.5
The heavy bass coursed through your veins, synchronizing with the wild pace of your own heart. A concoction that left the mind flirting with a heavy fog while a sheen glossed your skin.
Even as your limbs moved with the music, your gaze remained captured, stolen by the hypnotizing woman who was dancing her way over to you.
Sometimes you absolutely hate the fact that you're head over heels for your best friend.
A free weekend was something to be enjoyed, that was something you both could agree on, but that is where the merged lines diverge.
Because while you would love nothing more than a night in, a takeaway on your lap and a favorite movie on the screen; Jennie had other ideas.
You need to be in the right mood for these things, and it takes quite a lot of effort for it to be forced upon you. But Jennie, with her big dumb smile and fluffed-up cheeks just had to look into your eyes once and you'd lost the war before the message of an oncoming attack had even been delivered.
You didn't want to kill her fun. nor did you want to ruin the shared time you had managed to align, so you tried your best to manipulate your muscles into something that was actually genuine when you smiled.
And when that didn't work, the alcohol certainly did.
You were absolutely terrible at pacing yourself, so it did not take long for that certain buzz to hit and pull you away from 'I don't want to be here' to 'This isn't so bad.'
The power of the fruity mixture felt almost liberating, to the point you didn't even notice how sagged muscles sprang back to life.
It didn't help that Jennie was so distracting.
She had taken to the dancefloor halfway through her first drink, sending you a flirtatious wink whenever your gazes would clash under the florescent lights.
There was a part of you that itched to follow, to let her siren call embrace any lasting sanity you have and break it until you're left fully submerged.
3 drinks in and you finally let go.
Her smile is equal parts excited as it is knowing; you never could deny her of anything.
The bass synchronizes with your heart upon approach, and you let its frantic pace guide your limbs until you're doing something you hope resembles dancing.
You don't actually care though, not when Jennie quickly discards any lasting distance between you, takes your hands and brings them around her frame before she's throwing her own around your shoulders.
Way more intimate than what you would usually go for, but the taste of mango on your tongue reminds you that tonight was to let go.
And so you do.
Jennie's laugh is high-pitched and so in love and it's almost as intoxicating as the alcohol in your system -- although just as addicting.
Sweat glosses your skin before long, but you're way too absorbed to focus on anything but Jennie; her glimmering eyes and blinding smile.
At some point she brings you even closer, an adventurous hand getting lost in your hair before your lips meet for a single kiss that gets disrupted by more laughter.
You can't help but to follow her lead, even when the familiarity of Lady Gaga hits your ears in the background.
Not the night you initially wanted, but God you would not have it any other way.

Blackpink Reading June 2024
note: please take it lightly
Jisoo
Love: Without much surprise, Jisoo is still dating the same person she was dating from February reading. it things like she had fixed some of the problems that she had in the relationship and that things are going okay now
Career: She is finally very excited and ready for her next projects that she has been working on. She was finally able to open the doors of herself and thanks to her connections inside the company, she will come back with many surprises this year.
Self: I still feel some vulnerability in her energy, a lot of paranoia about her and this is probably because she is struggling with her life when it comes to being a public figure. Sometimes she wished to be a normal person because having people constantly looking at her and watching all of her moves is tiring.
Jennie
Love: Again, her love life is always hard to read, mostly because her energy is very restricted. But i believe that Jennie is dating the same personas every but that they are going through some issues concerning the goals they have as a couple (they probably don't have the same vision for the future)
Career: She isn't really focused on her career right now. It seems like Jennie has been rejecting a lot of contracts and career opportunities, because she is simply not interested in doing anything in particular at the moment.
Self: she is happy, she is lucky and she is thriving and living her life according to her values and morals. she is feeling joy lately
Rose
Love: She is still dating the same person as well, but for some reason I also see that Rose has been getting closer to one of her work colleagues. although i don't see cheating here, it's something to keep an eye on
Career: she is tired. Honestly, she is just tired and she sees the pressure of her fans to keep pushing forward and give content to be exhausting. Rose doesn't seem particularly thrilled about doing anything at the moment, so she is letting her manager handle all of it
Self: she is okay, for the most part. She knows there's a lot of things she needs to work on herself but she also has been realizing that she did a lot fo stupid things in the past years. so she is trying to get better
Lisa
Love: dating and happy, she is lucky as hell, because she got everything one could potentially ask for. I don't have much to say about this.
Career: I see that Lisa has been working on some type of project. out of all the members she seems to be the one who still has many goals and things she wants to do for her fans but also for her career. you can expect something from her.
Self: She has been very extroverted lately, opening her social circle more and meeting more influential people to keep her agenda booked and big. Lisa is smart and she knows that by going out there she will have more opportunities for herself

Play Time | Lalisa Manoban (Lisa)
Summary: You come home drunk and horny after a night out. Luckily Lisa is there to help you out...
Genre: Girlfriend!Lisa, suggestive, fluff
Word Count: 0.5k

“Lisaaaaaaaaa, I’m home!”
You swung the bedroom door open and staggered inside. You had just gotten home from the club, and drunk was an understatement.
Your girlfriend Lisa was fast asleep.
She was curled up in bed, half under the sheets, half out. One long tanned leg lay seductively bare on your side of the bed. Her curly brown hair crowned her face like a halo.
You jumped onto the bed and clambered on top of Lisa. You started pressing kisses all over her face and neck. “Wake up, baby,” you said between kisses.
Lisa grumbled and rubbed her eyes sleepily. “What time is it?” She croaked.
“Sexy time,” you said.
You slid your hand under Lisa’s pyjama top and stroked her hot skin. You traced your fingers up the grooves of her ribs, and over the curves of her soft breasts.
Lisa moaned. “You smell like tequila. How many drinks have you had?”
You nipped her jaw. “Only two.” You hiccupped. “Fine. Six.”
“Six!” Lisa cried. “Jeez, babe. I’m getting you some water - you'll thank me in the morning. Now, why don't you get into your PJs."
You wiggled your eyebrows suggestively. “Oh, so you want me naked?” You tried to pull your dress over your head, but somehow, your arm ended up getting stuck.
Lisa sighed. She gently helped you out of your dress. “You are gorgeous, but no sex tonight, babe."
“Really?” you said, pouting.
Lisa tucked you into bed and lay down beside you. She wrapped one arm around your waist, and kicked her leg over yours, holding you close.
Lisa leaned forwards and pecked your lips.
“Get some sleep," she said, winking. "Tomorrow, I might change my mind."

Blackpink -> {Hogwarts AU} -> Falling for a muggle
Requested: No
Group: Blackpink
Genre: Fluff. Angst.
Warning: Swearing. Bad thoughts. Self-esteem issues.
Jisoo
Jisoo would like to believe that she was not ignorant like most wizard folk when it came to muggles. She was aware that they operated differently and had to get by life without magic, but she could not help but be astounded by the many bright lights shining around her while she waited for you to return with the promised snacks you were determined to get her to try.
So many muggle families surrounded her, adults and children intermixing with one another in the large crowd while squeals of delight and fear randomly exploded in the air due to the many large contraptions they were riding in. She was still remarkably stunned by the sight of the very large metal contraption which reminded her a basilisk, moving quickly through the air like a Nimbus 2000, about a dozen muggles riding it in a small compartment, hands in the air and screaming. She believes muggles called it...a roller-coaster.
“Jisoo! Jisoo!”
The sound of her name made her break away from the sight of the large metal contraption to instead meet with your bright eyes and smile as you walked towards her with your arms filled with two large drinks and a fluffy-looking, pink substance. You immediately handed her one of the large drinks, liquid rolling down the body of the drink with a thick straw in it. Jisoo glanced at the contents of the drink, scrunching her nose slightly at the very dark substance in it.
It didn’t look very appetizing.
“Go on, have a taste!” You said, smiling excitedly as you waited for her to take a sip. Jisoo glanced at you and back at the cup, her nose scrunching slightly.
“...What is it?”
“Coca-Cola, a personal favorite for us non-magic folk!” You said with a cheeky smile, nose crinkling at the mention of your non-magical abilities that she had made obvious at the start of your...meetings. You lifted your own drink to your lips and took a sip, the dark liquid moved through the transparent plastic, moving at a fast pace into your mouth for a few seconds before returning back to the cup as you let out a satisfied sigh. “Delicious! Go on, try some!”
Usually Jisoo tended to not drink or eat anything which looked unappealing, her palette grown to be rather refined due to her upbringing in a pureblood family. Her parents only ensured that she and her siblings ate the most dignifying meals suitable for witches and wizards of their stature, so anything that was remotely muggle-like was banned from the manor. But since you have introduced her to the many ways of the muggles, she cannot help but be compelled by your simply ways of life.
Her sister thought she was absolutely mad for wanting to learn more of the muggle world, but her brother encouraged her, always being the most rebellious one out of the three of them despite being heir to the Kim household. In fact, he was the only one in the family aware of her...interest in you, serving as the constant distraction for her family whenever they asked for Jisoo’s whereabouts.
“You only live once dear sister, have some fun, won’t you?”
And fun was one word to describe her experiences whenever she was with you. So with some deliberation, Jisoo lifted the straw to her lips and took a tentative sip.
...
Her eyes widened at the popping bubbles in the mouth, so much so that she almost spat it out due to her surprise. She swallowed the fizzy content quickly and stared at her cup in bewilderment before glancing at you, meeting your wide-eyed grin.
“Like it?” You asked, chewing on the tip of your straw with your signature grin in place, already knowing her answer.
“...You muggles astound me.” Jisoo said, making you tilt your head back and laugh, shaking your head before returning your gaze to her with a glint in your eye. You then offered her the pink, fluffy object in your hands, it being attached to a thin stick, a surprisingly supportive object for something which appeared so large.
“If Coca-Cola astounded you, then this will blow your mind.”
Jisoo furrowed her eyebrows together, slowly reaching out to take the pink, fluffy substance from your hands. It was surprisingly light, and as she took a closer look, the pink substance almost reminded her of the mist coming from a potion, albeit in a more solid form. She inspected it, shaking it slightly in her hand to test the balance of the pink substance, mildly surprised that it did not fall off such a thin stick, and then glanced at you with a perplexed expression.
Smiling at her confusion, unsure on how to eat the pink substance, you reached out and plucked a piece of the fluffy substance from its body, a decent bite size offering to her lips by your hand. Your smile still in place, you nudged the fluffy substance against her lips.
“Go on, you’ll like it. I promise.”
Even though she was perplexed from your muggle drink, she knew that she could trust you intentions with the pink substance as you have yet to prove that you are untrustworthy to her. Opening her mouth, she leaned forward and took a small bite from the pink substance from your hands, your finger tips grazing her lips as she closed them, accepting the muggle snack in her mouth.
Her eyes immediately widened at the sweet taste. She did not know what to expect from the pink substance, but she did not expect it to dissolve so quickly in her mouth. The sugar sweetness of the substance immediately filled her tastes buds, prompting a small squeak of surprise form her, completely unbecoming of a pureblood to make and yet a muggle like you was honored enough to hear something from her. And the sound delighted you as your grin shifted in a wide smile.
“Like it?”
“It...what is it?”
“Cotton Candy. Another muggle classic.”
“H-How are you muggles so advanced?”
“Advanced? Ha! I never thought I would ever hear a witch call a muggle advanced!”
While one of her own kind would have taken offense by such words said by someone like you, a muggle, Jisoo took none. Instead she flashed an uncertain smile, aware of the playfulness of your words as you propped the rest of the ... cotton candy in your mouth before plucking some more off the main body of the snack in Jisoo’s hand. You smiled at her, eyes crinkling at the side before you nudged your head towards the large bodies of other muggles as they walked about the area, visiting the different tents and stalls that were set up.
“Want to walk a bit more? Based off my own experiences, it is better to eat and walk than just standing in the middle of one place.”
“...I agree.” She said, not wanting to say anything else that could contradict your words as she slowly lifted her drink to her lips again, taking a sip. She immediately flinched a bit at the fizzy bubbles in her mouth, still not used to the sensation, which prompted a giggle out of you.
“Don’t worry, you’ll get use to it.” Jisoo felt the Cotton Candy stick leave her hand, moving to your own as you shifted your own drink in your hand so that you were now holding both your drink and Cotton Candy stick in one hand with your other one being offered out to her invitingly. “Come on, I saw a shop with a whole bunch of stuff I think you’d like.”
While Jisoo was hardly a stranger to romantic entanglements, she couldn’t help but feel like a blushing first year when she saw your offered hand, clearly indicating your desire for her to take it. You waited patiently, not lowering your hand for even a moment as Jisoo contemplated her decision before finally coming to one. With a certain visible amount of warmth to her cheeks, Jisoo reached out and took her hands, feeling the blush on her cheeks increased as you automatically laced your fingers with hers, giving her hand a small squeeze.
“Lets go.” You said gently, flashing her a smile before leading her towards the crowd of muggles, keeping a firm grip on her hand the entire time while her cheeks remained pink.
Jennie
Jennie kept her facial features schooled throughout the entire dinner, ensuring that no one would be able to detect her true emotions regarding the topic of discussion that night.
Her upcoming engagement to a fellow pureblood.
Her father believed that the marriage match was perfect. He believed that her fiancee was a pureblood worthy to be wedded to the only daughter of Kim family, one of the oldest and most pure wizarding families left in an intermixed society. Her fiance was from a from a proud pureblood family, nearly as pure as hers, and the benefits that would come from their marriage was beyond lucrative and successful that she could understand from her father’s perspective of the great matched that he has supposedly with Jennie and her fiance.
Her mother was, of course, delighted at the match. It meant that she could put all of her attention and effort into the wedding, particularly the planning of it all. Her mother was always fond of planning events, often being the hostess of many pureblood balls that Jennie has been forced to attend ever since she was capable of walking; therefore, a wedding was the ultimate event that she could plan to show off the wealth and prestige of the Kim family, an aspect of Jennie’s life that she has never been able to escape.
While it was her own future that was being discussed over dinner, a meal consisting of biased duck and caramelized spinach and cream, Jennie did not say a word. The food in her mouth tasted like ash and the wine she was privileged to drink became dry glass as she swallowed it, words unable to leave her lips due to her tongue being heavy as lead, serving as a useless tool as her parents continued to speak to one another with excited tone; albeit not too excited, since Kims were composed at all times, even in the private company of family.
When dessert was finally served, Jennie was unable to even force herself to have a taste. The chocolate delight prepared by the house elves remained on touch, only being tasted by Jennie’s eyes as she kept her gaze transfixed on it as her parents continued to speak, not noticing her behavior until Jennie requested for her removal from the table. Her father raised an eyebrow at her, fork half raised to his mouth with a piece of dessert attached to the metal utensil.
“Is there a problem Jennie?”
Yes
“Not at all father. I am simply feeling exhausted all of a sudden. I would like to rest.”
“I see. And in order to clear any confusion, I am correct to assume that you accept the match?”
No.
“Of course father. It is only an honor to continue carry on the legacy of our great house.”
“I couldn’t have raised a better daughter.” Jennie’s mother suddenly said, dabbing at her the corner of her eyes before she flashed a serene smile to Jennie, a hint of pride in it as she gazed at her. “Well said Jennie.”
Jennie nodded at her mouth and returned her gaze to her father for his unsaid permission for her allowance to leave the dining room, which her granted with a nod. Without another word, Jennie exited the dining room and made way for her bedroom, purposefully keeping her face unaffected as she passed through the many portraits of her past family members in the corridor, all of them congratulating her on her engagement in their haughty voices. Jennie ignored them all, remaining cold and neutral until she finally reached her bedroom, opening the door and closing it behind her, instantly locking it with a flick of her wrist.
And then she broke apart.
Her knees hit the floor before she even realized it, tears suddenly breaking free from their confines as she lifted her hands to cover her face, sobbing into her palms as the effect of the engagement news hit her. It was not like Jennie was naive, she knew that she was eventually going to have to wed one of her fellow purebloods as it was a duty of a pureblood woman, but there was one thing that she never anticipated in her life.
To fall in love.
But most specifically, to fall in love with a muggle.
Your face was in her mind, your smile blinding to her even though you were far away in the comforts of your own home, probably having dinner with your own family, completely unaware of her dismayed state or of the new decision made about her life that neither of you could fight against. Both of you already knew the impossibility of a relationship between the two of you. It was not because she was a witch and you were a muggle. That was not the problem.
It was the fact that Jennie was a pureblood witch and you were a muggle.
Jennie was proud of her blood purity. She was proud of her family’s prestige in the magical community. And overall, she was proud over the fact through her bloodline alone, she was better than other witches and wizards in the magical community. But the pride that she once had for herself crumbled down when she stumbled across you on a seaside vacation that she had taken with her friends last year.
Away from her family, away from the magical community, Jennie did not see herself as a pureblood witch when she met you, but simply a woman who fell in love with a beautiful soul who seemed to complete hers. Jennie has never believed in soulmates, especially since she was aware that witches like her only married for convenience and bloodline purity instead of love, her parents being paragon examples, but when she met you...the thought suddenly crossed her mind.
And the realization of it being true made it so much worse because she knew that any future with you with impossible.
She knew precisely what would happen if her parents found out about you. What they would do to you, and how they would make her play a part in it in order to rectify her abhorrent behavior for daring to taint her pure mind, reputation and body with a muggle.
A muggle.
An inferior being.
And yet...Jennie has never felt more alive with you. Every kiss, every touch...it would be cliche to say it was all magical but Jennie knew no other way to describe it. Her experiences with her were indescribable, your very presence affected her in such a way that she knew that she could never be romantically entangled with another witch or wizard without comparing her experiences with her.
You’ve ruined her...in the best and worst way possible.
Through her tears and wracking pain in her heart, Jennie crawled to her bed, sliding under it to pick at the loose tile which concealed her hidden treasure, a small object which was bizarre to the magical world but so normal in the muggle world. She pressed the side button and waited with blinding tears in her eyes for the screen of the cellphone to light up, eventually the screen revealing an image of the two of you together.
It was a picture you had taken with the cellphone you had purchased for her despite it being an object she would never use aside from her time with you... a selfie you called it, something which Jennie was still learning to master. It was a picture of you pressing a kiss to her temple, an arm wrapped tightly around her shoulders as she cuddled into your side, simply smiling at you instead of the cellphone as you took the photo.
The sight of it made Jennie’s tears fall even faster, and she was unable to stop them or cease their rapid speed as she shakily moved her thumb across the screen to the last message you had sent it, which was last night, the three words making her crumble completely as she reread them, albeit not with a smile on her face as she had last night, but with a brokenhearted sob.
I love you.
Chaeyoung
Your lips melded perfectly with hers, Chaeyoung unconsciously closing her eyes at the feeling of them while her hands moved to your hips, squeezing them gently while your own hands around her necks tugged her impossibly closer, almost as if you were trying to eliminate whatever little space was left between the two of you.
While the weather was thunderous outside, literally, the raining slamming against her back and soaking into her clothes, Chaeyoung could not focus on anything else but the warmth of your body, of your smooth skin that her hands sought as she slipped her hands under your shirt for a touch, her cool hands being the reason for your retracting your lips from hers with a gasp.
“Your hands are freezing!” You exclaimed, removing your hands from her neck to instead grab at her hands, removing them from your hips and skin, squeezing them tightly as you brought them up to your lips and blew on them, your warm breath gliding along her skin. “How are they so cold?!”
“...It is raining darling.” She quipped, smiling softly at the pause on your face before your rapidly blinked and gasped, finally realizing that the two of you were still standing on your door step, Chaeyoung taking the brunt of the rainy weather outside, accompanied by thunder and loud strikes of lightening. Without a second of hesitation, you grabbed her by the lapels of her jacket and all but tugged her inside, immediately slamming the door behind her once she managed pass the threshold.
“I am so sorry! I- I didn’t know that you were coming by! I know you said that you would come visit, but you never said when! And the last letter you sent me was a bit vague, so like...when I saw you, I couldn’t help but-”
Whatever you were going to say, you never got to say it as Chaeyoung cut you off with her lips, unable to resist the temptation any longer. She had been deprived of them for so long, the entire school year going as slow as a slug for the Christmas break. While usually Chaeyoung would be at home with her parents, her friends had opted for a vacation away at Lisa’s house, which happened to be located at a coastal town, particularly close to muggles.
Obviously her parents were displeased at first. While Lisa is a pureblood as pure as Chaeyoung, her family was far more lax in terms of dealing with muggles. In fact, Lisa’s family was fascinated with muggles to some degree, Lisa’s father being the head of Muggle Circumstances in the ministry. But despite her parents disdain for Lisa’s family, they knew that nothing could stop Chaeyoung from being friends with her, the two of them having grown up together due to the strict pureblood social circles she was to grow up in. And so when Chaeyoung wrote them a letter stating that she was going to spend time with Lisa during the Christmas break, there was no bother of a refusal letter as her parents knew that she was going to join Lisa and the rest of her friends at the witch’s home.
Chaeyoung was thankful for her friendship Lisa because she allowed her to see beyond the pureblood circles and beliefs. Lisa helped her see the fascinating side of muggles and their contraptions, and most importantly, her friendship with Lisa led to her making friendships with muggles, the most important one being you.
You were unaware of Lisa’s and Chaeyoung pureblood purity, or rather, unaware of their magical abilities completely. While Lisa was befriending of muggles, she did not divulge in her magical background due to her parents. It was okay to befriend muggles, but they could not know the truth due to the risk of the news being spread. And so you were completely in the dark of everything about Lisa and Chaeyoung. As far as you knew, Chaeyoung was a rich heiress who was in the same private school as Lisa, who simply visited the girl regularly during the holidays.
But despite the lack of knowing the full details of Chaeyoung’s life, it did not stop the two of you from falling in love.
Chaeyoung’s parents obviously didn’t know, which she planned to keep because she can only imagine what her parents will do if they found out that she had become a muggle lover like her best friend. She was already aware that her parents were trying to find a suitable match for her for after she finishes at Hogwarts, her reality as a pureblood witch becoming more daunting as they days go on, and she knows that if they found out about her relationship with you, it will only fast forward the process.
She wanted to keep her relationship with you a secret as long as possible, but she will admit that it is getting harder to keep lying to you.
You broke away from her kiss when she slipped her hands under your shirt again, craving the touch of your soft skin. She immediately giggled at your whine, only leaning forward to press a kiss to your eyebrow as your smacked her halfheartedly on the shoulders for her small stunt.
“I can’t help it, I missed you.”
“You could miss me less if you would just get a phone so that we can Facetime!”
“Like me and Lisa said darling...phones are forbidden at our school.”
“And I still call bullshit on that. For some big, fancy school, you seriously follow rules which are from the dark ages.”
Chaeyoung couldn’t help but fix a bitter smile on her face as she watched you turn around in her arms and walk away, offering to make the two of you tea to warm up. Chaeyoung’s wand suddenly felt heavy as a bag of rocks in its hidden compartment in her cloak, it being connected to her guilt for having to lie to your face every time. While she knew that Lisa felt bad about lying to her friends, she at least had some practice in it. Chaeyoung has never been a situation to lie about her magical background until now.
But Chaeyoung knows she can’t tell you truth, no matter how much she wants to. While her friends will be at Lisa’s house to comfort her about her visit with you, their words will not help the growing pain in her chest each time she watched you flutter about in your natural environment, speaking rapidly about everything that has happened since the last time she saw you in the middle of the year.
She discarded herself of her cloak and joined you in the kitchen, leaning against the kitchen counter while you busied yourself with the tea, glancing back every few seconds to flash her a smile before returning to the task. Chaeyoung’s eyes flitterred down your body, fists clenching as she become entranced with your shape, craving to be close again. So without a word, she walked up behind you and wrapped her arms around your waist, resting her chin on your shoulder as she inhaled your natural scent.
“Chae?”
“I missed you.” She confessed, turning her head to nuzzle her nose into your neck, sighing. “A lot.”
“I missed you too.” You turned around in her arms and raised a hand to cup her cheek, smiling serenely as your traced her cheekbone with your thumb. “But you’re here now. No need to miss me anymore.”
Chaeyoung smile and leaned in to press a soft kiss to your lips, hands clenching fistfuls of your shirt as she held you close.
“I suppose you are right.”
Chaeyoung savored moments like this with you, closing her eyes as she accepted the kiss you pulled her into, keeping her hold on you tight as if she was afraid that you would apparate away, despite knowing such a task was impossible.
While most envy her position as a pureblood, Chaeyoung couldn’t help but grow to resent it because it meant that becoming public with you would lead to her being disowned from her family. And at this stage of her, she was unsure if she could be anything aside from her parents daughter, and she most certainly would not be of worth for someone as brilliant as you.
You deserved more than her, but she could not help but hold on tight onto the small semblance of hope that she had left in her last year of school.
Lisa
Your eyes were always so mesmerizing, Lisa often found herself getting lost in them, even when you aren’t directly looking at her.
Lisa knew that she was not supposed to do this, even though her parents were okay with her intermixing with muggles, there were still certain rules that they had in place regarding the revelation of their magical abilities. Lisa was aware that her family was not like most pureblood families who had complete disdain for muggles. It started back to her great-grandfather being saved by a muggle family when he suffered from an accident, his enemies from the government having drawn him away from the safe confines of his home and leaving him for dead, only for him to be discovered by a wandering muggle man.
The muggle could not do much for her great-grandfather, but despite being a stranger, he managed to carry Lisa’s great grandfather on his back to the closest medical facility he could find, which led to her great-grandfather surviving his near death injuries. Her great-grandfather never out the name of the muggle who saved them, but after that incident, her entire family’ outlook on muggles changed.
Lisa grew up with muggles and she had a similar fascination with their lifestyles as her parents did; however, despite their postie outlook to them, Lisa was still forbidden from exposing her magical background to her muggle friends. Her parents explained to her when she was a child the possible dangers that they would face if it was found out that they were witches and wizards. The Ministry of Magic made the consequences of the exposure of magic very clear, and with Lisa’s family being one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, she knew better than to defame her family through social revelations with muggles.
She thought the rules were stupid, but she followed them like any obedient daughter would. She won’t deny and say she didn’t have any close calls, because she did, but she managed to save herself every time, albeit sometimes with the aid of her parents. She was was eventually of legal age of using magic, she was able to save herself even more with a simple obliviate charm, and so she never figured that she would reveal herself to any muggle.
But she should have figured that you would have been different.
The two of you grew up together, best friends ever since the age of three and even though many years have gone past, the two of you were as close as ever.
When she was younger, Lisa pleaded with her parents to tell you the truth. You were her best friend and she could not keep such a big secret from you, but her parents made it clear to her that there were to be no exceptions, not even to you, someone who they almost viewed as another member of the family. Lisa tried asking her parents for permission several time as she got older, but the answer was the same, and so Lisa eventually stopped asking.
Instead, she simply decided to let you know the full truth about her, without her parents permission or awareness.
She loved watching your expressions whenever she showed you magic, noting how your eyes literally lit up in wonderment as you sat in front of her, staring at her wand in memorization. Even though she has shown you before, you couldn’t help but request for her to light up the room with Lumos, her wand holding the small ball of light in a gentle touch, similar to the touch that your hands on her lower back as the two of you lay in your bed.
Whenever she came home for break, sleepovers were common occurrences between the two of you despite your older ages. But instead of doll-playing, movie nights, and sugary snack hunts, the sleepovers consisted of the two of you in your bedroom, lips attached and hands exploring as the two of you would reacquaint yourselves from a long distance away, with the odd movie playing in the background.
It is quite a muggle cliche, to fall in love with one’s best friend, but quite honestly, Lisa could not imagine a better person to fall in love with. Despite growing up in ignorance, you knew Lisa inside out and Lisa knew you the same way. The two of you were soulmates, and even though Lisa is aware of the disdain that she will receive from the pureblood community, she would damn them all to hell because their opinions paled in comparison to yours.
Despite her lies and secrets, you still accepted her into your heart, something which Lisa will always be thankful for.
“It’s stunning.” You whispered, eyes locked on the small wisp of light shining from her wand. Lisa smiled at your side profile.
“Yes you are.”
Your nose immediately crinkled at her cheesy words and you moved your gaze to look at her, slight disdain in yours eyes.
“That was so cheesy.”
“You know me, I am a cheesy person.”
“I don’t like it.”
“You love it.” Lisa affirmed, lowering her wand to the mattress, snuffing out the light in order to move her hand to cup your cheek, keeping your gaze on her. She traced your cheekbone and leaned in so that your and her noses were touching. “Just like you love me.”
“You are so confident in yourself.”
“Am I wrong though?” She asked, moving her thumb to press against your top lip, tracing the small bow before curling her thumb onto your bottom lip, pulling it down. “Don’t you love me?”
“Of course I do.” You automatically answered, always been one to confirm Lisa’s beliefs when they were true, which made a smile crawl along Lisa’s lips. She leaned in until her lips brushed against yours, making you feel her words rather than hear them.
“Good. Because I love you too.”
She felt your smile against her lips before you finally kissed her, tugging her closer to you by the waist and wrapping your arms tightly around her body to eliminate any space between the two of you. Lisa simply clutched at your face, keeping your firmly in place as her lips moved along with yours, easily succumbing to the passion forming between the two of you. Only when air became a necessity did you pull away, gazing deeply in her eyes as you panted against her lips.
“My beautiful witch.” You whispered, the emphasis on her beauty making Lisa flush but smile at the same time.
Despite the obvious difference between the two of you in terms of magic, the fact that you still saw her as someone worth loving, worth being with despite the years of secrets she has kept from you, Lisa counts herself the luckiest witch in all of time. She leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to your lips before leaning forward to rest her forehead against yours.
“My stunning muggle.”
The both of you immediately started giggling, hugging each other closely for a few moments before finally reuniting your lips in another passionate kiss, wand and light forgotten as the two of you instead focused on one another, hands clutching and exploring at the same time.
