Why have I seen no one talking about how astarion is a morning person. Not just a morning person, but the sun is out. We have to go places do things morning person. Post game if you like find that sun ring he will be insufferable every morning for ever and it'll be great becuse you'd be woken up a ensuastic happy pretty vampire every moring, but you never sleep in agin.

So far in BG3 I have two save files and two Tavs, Elio and Lilac. Elio is between acts 1 and 2 (just got done at the créche and monastery,) and Lilac is very early act 1, i haven’t even gotten to the grove with her. Elio is a tiefling draconic bloodline sorcerer, and is a nice and competent young man who rolls decently and helps people where he can. Lilac is a drow bard who once rolled so shittily that I had to reload my save file because I accidentally killed Gale.
#I usually do ‘all naturale’ dice rolls but I draw the line at party member deaths. It’s my game and I get to choose how I play.#girl rolled a natural 1 for arcana/charisma/whatever it was to calm down the rune and then failed the strength check bc she’s a STR 8 bard#I think I could count her successful skill checks on one hand#damn bitch get it together#also she stole astarions camp clothes bc the bard starting outfit is SO UGLY#and I love it. don’t get me wrong. it’s just not her vibe.#my hc is that she was wearing it as a disguise when she got snatched by the mindflayers#I might replay elio as a redeemed durge#he kinda fits the vibe I think#rain plays bg3#bg3#bg3 tav#elio is romancing astarion bc vampire x the sun but a person#and lilac is romancing lae’zel bc hardened badass warrior x bard bullshittery#I went ‘what’s the class laezel would (initially) respect the least. yeah that’s the one I’m romancing her as.’

have decided the solution to this is while i still plan to play other characters i can simply run her again + bump up the difficulty a touch this time to justify it lmao
slightyyyy tempted to try the oath of the watchers class mod However it apparently functions pretty similar to oath of the ancients for the 'rules' so idk. i may also just be too attached to doing everything as similarly as possible jksgdf
as a side observation, im pretty sure wyll sounded Significantly more distraught when you romance him re: karlach combusting than when you don't? & i didn't romance her here either so i wonder why that is (possible im not remembering correctly but like. im pretty sure???) anyway once again im Very curious about what we didn't see for wyll's cut content & what exactly the dynamic was supposed to be between him/your character/karlach in a romance route.

after my karlach run i do want to do an origin astarion run to romance wyll and karlach but i really hope larian changes the order of the scenes in the ending with one of these patches
right now if you're playing spawn astarion he has to run off because of the sun before karlach's scene happens so she'll always die. i actually don't think that's intended because on karlach origin he can come with her to avernus so i'm crossing my fingers they change it!
i also really hope they fix karlach and astarion's first kiss on her origin to be... anything else lol even the default peck because right now it's bugged with a kiss that seems to be for AA
#i know that if you ascend astarion then him burning in the sun obviously isn't an issue. and you can make origin be the goodest ever#but knowing how he treats origin karlach if he tries to turn her... i just hate doing it personally. sorry!#i could not watch that video more than once 😫 AA it's on sight
